Ash Learns to Roll
A small hedgehog named Ashleigh is frustrated that she can’t roll in a straight line like her older brothers and sisters. After trying tirelessly, she decides it’s time to give up, but not before she stumbles into her Papa Hedgehog. Papa Hedgehog reminds her that God takes care of the flowers and birds, and that He’ll also take care of her. But will it be enough to help Ash get over her frustration and learn how to roll in a straight line?

Hi! I’m the author.
I wrote this book with my sister, Alisha, who is the illustrator. Our goal is to write Children’s books from a biblical worldview.
In this story, Ash (Ashleigh) the Hedgehog struggles to roll in a straight line. She grows frustrated and wanted to give up. Her Papa Hedgehog reminds her that everything happens in God’s perfect timing.

I am marking this as read AND letting it count towards my Goodreads goal because it’s December and my friend Anna write this beautiful book and I want to trick all the algorithms into making her and her sister famous.
Why isn’t the idea of Christian hedgehogs brought up more? Because this was ADORABLE. I mean come onnn when Ash rolled into the mushroom? Priceless.
I bought this for a Christmas gift but wanted to read it myself before I wrapped it, and I’m so glad I did <<3

Review:
This book is so cute and it talks about a little hedgehog which is struggling in rolling in a straight line. She wanted to give up but her dad reminded her that God is always there to help her. This is a good story for children to learn not to give up and continue to try cause God will be always with them. He cares for them just like he cares for the flowers and the birds in the air.
It will be good that this book had a conclusion right after the story like what lesson did they get from there. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book. Will read it to my niece too.

Meet Ash, the little hedgehog that is still learning how to roll. Her Papa Hedgehog helps her see that things aren’t up to her and that God’s timing is the best timing. This is a cute story for younger children (probably around the 4-6 age range) and teaches a simple life lesson. The illustrations are very well done. I would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely loved this book. Such a perfect way to point my children to Christ in the little moments of life. The illustrations were precious and the book was the perfect length to keep my kiddos attention!
