M. Bonnet’s “Absolved In Death” is the fifth and final book in her Dangerous Lovers series, a dark why choose? paranormal romance series that I really loved.

Diana, her men, her family, and her allies literally go through so much in this one. I don’t want to give too much away, but the plot twists had me screaming, and I was hooked from start to finish!

I’m really happy with how everything got resolved as well, although there’s a part of me that’s hoping certain side characters will get their own stories, even if it’s just a novella in the future sometime.

I love M. Bonnet’s writing style, and I found a heroine I could really relate to in Diana Rossi Morningstar. This series was incredibly addicting, and I’m really glad I read it. Definitely give it a chance if you love dark paranormal romance!

Anticlimatic and no spice

You have most likely read the previous four books in this series and are starting this one thinking it will be the culmination of all the struggle, training, and heartbreak. Joke's on you; it is not!

The previous books take you through action, spice, and drama; this one gives you an ending. I felt like the Group Activities in the previous books were an important part of the plot; they were used to express emotions or, in some cases, to influence the Female Lead. Absolved in Death has none of it, and for a book that is about closing Diana's story, it doesn't give you the closure we were all looking for.

If you don't want spoilers and a very long rant, then skip the hidden text.

Overall, it was an ending; no detail or thought was put into it. We got a great start to a story with In Death We Part, full of character evolution and action. The author provided challenges and sex scenes out of this world throughout the rest of the series, and then the Finale comes, and we get nothing. It felt like the book was written by a different person.

This was such a phenomenal series! I loved every minute of it and will definitely be doing rereads in the future. Diana as a fmc was someone so relatable and she just got better as the series went on. You could truly see her growth and how far she has come from her school days where she was bullied, to having her world completely change as she learned about her magical side, to taking control of armies and dominating everything she comes across and becoming the queen she was always meant to be. It's been an adventure and such a thrilling journey to follow. It hasn't been an easy transition for her, but I gotta say, Diana took her devil role by the horns and proved how capable she was.

I really enjoyed the different POVs in this book in particular, especially ones from some of the side characters. This gives me a lot of hope that there will be future looks revolving around these characters. Angela and Q are definitely ones I would love to see again. I think their storyline has a lot of potential and Q is such a hoot of a fae. He really added some hilarious bits to this book and I loved how supportive and on the ball he was with Diana as her assistant and bestie for life. Can't wait to see M. Bonnet give them and all of Angela’s other possible romantic partners a story of their own. I think it will be great since each of them has such a different personality and they don't already know each other quite as well as Diana's group. It would be fun to see how they find the balance.

Overall, amazing series. Well worth the read if you enjoy a mix of supernaturals, M/M within the harem, a fmc who learns her powers as she goes and isn't immediately in tune with them, a mix of heartache and happiness, and a happy ending that wraps everything up everything in a nice little bow.

I would loooove a duet about Angela and her men it would be amazing! The chapter with Q was too sexy and I loved that he didn't care about Angela's other situationships, "the more the merrier" was an exact quote. 🥰🥵
I thoroughly enjoyed this series and all of the challenges the group went through not only against Red but their relationships with each other.

My only confusion was Desmond and Diana's relationship staus... I thought they broke up at one point, but then they were back together without it being discussed at all? Very confusing and had lots of unnecessary drama with them. Ares is definitely my favorite 😍 he sounds too fine, and I love how intense his love for Diana is. When he stuck close to her during the battle, in fear of losing her - my heart melted.

Series Finale!!!

M. Bonnet delivered one amazing ending for her Dangerous Lovers Series. There was no chance of me doing anything else once I got this book. I was ready to find out if Diana was gonna make it through to the end with her guys. Was she going to defeat Red? What would happen with her dads, with her sister, or even with her guys? The finale battle is here and it was epic, explosive and had all those little twists that you learn to love because it keeps you on the edge of your seat desperately trying to figure out what's going to happen next.

If you haven't started this series, grab book one now and start Diana's journey to saving the world. If you are already caught up, buckle up for finale and a battle you will always remember.

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and think the last book ended in the right way. Seeing Diana question herself constantly but still willing to do whatever it takes is honestly inspiring to me since I too tend to self-doubt. She had a realness and rawness that I appreciated, and her boundary setting was fantastic too since her guys can be A LOT. Still think Ares is my favorite, but each guy was amazing in his own way. Will mention the Epilogue gets a little squirrely. Can't always tell who is speaking (I think it went from Azazel to Ares but not 100% sure) and there is some time hopping that isn't obvious (went from 4 years since battle to 8 years). Other than that, very minor edit issues as this book was well written and edited appropriately.

I can’t believe this is the end of the series!

Absolved in Death is the final book in the Dangerous Lovers Series, and it’s a damn good ending.

This book had me holding my breath, had my heart breaking, made me laugh so hard, and made me sweat from the heat. Diana and her guys FINALLY find their footing in their relationships, and her relationship with her family grows stronger as well.

If you were waiting on this series to be complete, wait no longer because this is not a series you want to miss out on.

Diana is the ultimate curvy FMC. Seeing her go from regular human to kick ass child of Lucifer, has been amazing and this book definitely continues the awesomeness. All of her sexy men, her family and some new friends are together now. To figure out how to get rid of Red once and for all and restore the Morningstar family as the rulers of Hell. There is darkness, steam, love and three crazy mini dinosaurs in this epic read. Yes dinosaurs. I am sad its over, I'd love to see some more stories set in this world (absolutely yes to Angela getting some books!)

Almost there…

This series never quite earned that final star from me. This last book had chapters at the beginning written from the pov of ancillary characters that served no real purpose. I also thought the final battle was a semi-predictable cop out.
There were also editing errors like book 4 that spell check should have caught.
You don’t throw a speer and the past tense of cast is still cast, not casted.
I still gave 4 stars because the concept was good and I kept hoping for something that would earn a top rating.

4 hours. 4 hours is all it took for M. to ruin me, and put me back together. What a wild ride it's been! Mal,but also Desmond, Bash, and Ares have all stolen my heart since the very beginning. The emotions I have felt throughout this series are wild! Diana will forever be my main girl she's not only bad ass but she's the absolute best ! 5 stars doesn't even touch this masterpiece. The book hangover I'm in from this is out of this world ! I can't wait to see what else M has up her sleeve.

Absolved In Death, book 5 of the Dangerous Lovers series, by M Bonnet @m.bonnetauthor. This series must be read in order.

I loved catching up with Diana, Des, Bash, Ares & Mal! Tropes: Diana is a kick-butt FMC, Bash & Ares are both WAY OTT, Des likes to lie to himself & Mal is…something else. 😂 if you like MM within the Harem, OTT, PNR, Primal Play, Found Family, HEA, & many other things that would give away parts of the plot, them you'll love this book.

This book is exactly is what I expected and more as the final book in the series. Everything Diana and her mantorage of men have been through has led up to this point of her vs Red and boy did it have all the thing's. If you've been reading the series you won't want to miss all the explosive fun.

What a way to end a series!! I will say Desmond did have me pulling my hair out still a good portion of this book. The others? Chefs kiss. The way they all still grew, the tensions, the twists, the war.. so good. I hope we get more from their universe later on! Cough angelagettingabookmaybe? Cough

It’s an interesting conclusion to the series. It felt a bit rushed at the end. However, the story is well done I love the development of the FMC in her strength I really enjoyed her relationship with five partners I also liked the family and the way they connected
