I really enjoyed this book. Slone is ex military. He is now a bodyguard guarding Lindsey. Lindsey's biological clock is ticking something fierce. She wants a baby, and is going through a clinic. I thought it was funny how her, and her sister was going through a list of possible candidates. Her sister bluntly stated that the best candidate would be Slone. I did like the chemistry that Lindsey and Slone shared, and the friendship that developed. Slone thought he was damaged goods, he had bad things that happened in the past that he had not dealt with. I loved how Lindsey helped him through his grief. this was a emotional story. I thought with him being her bodyguard, there would be some action to this story. There was no action scenes, but the suspense was good. I thought it dragged in places. I'm used to reading action/ romance books. With action books the story moves along at a faster pace. With this being a sweet romance it was properly the perfect pace, and I'm just not use to the slower books. Over all this was a great book. I love any books with military men in them. I'm leaving you with one sample of the book.


Sample from chapter 5 - If wanted a good life with a good woman, he didn't have a lot of time left to find her. The military had taken his best years, and he'd given them gladly. He'd done it to keep soft, sweet souls like Lindsey's safe from the horrors of what happened beyond their country's borders.

I loved it!!! I loved Sloan before this book and so glad that he got everything that he thought he didn't want.
i love the series and everyone needs to read them. I can't wait to read about Adam and Marissa!

Lindsey and Sloshed chemistry was right on. A very heartfelt story. Showed that all big bad seals and other service men are a little intimidating but they is a soft side there, you just have to dig for it. Once your part of the team or family there's nothing they won't do for you as long as you show your dedication to the same

very good story....this one was kind of cute in a way. Lindsey needs to have a baby within the year if she every wants to have one, only trouble is she's not involved with anyone. She decides on a sperm bank & picks a donor, wishing it could be her bodyguard instead. Slone is there to protect her from trouble that her sister got into recently with a drug ring while searching a cold case murder, he doesn't want to have feelings for her but from the moment he met her he knew she was the one he could fall in love with if he let himself be happy. He's not happy with her arrangements but there's nothing he can do about it, she bravely asked him but he turned her down until while waiting for her at her appointment for the procedure he meets a look a like for his dead brother who speaks in the wisdom of his younger brother. Realizing that he needs to do this he stops her procedure & takes her home to claim her as his own, even though he still doesn't think he deserves her he's gonna do his best. They both have pasts but have to get over them & live in the present, Lindsey can but can Slone. Will they get their HEA?

Slone..what a dreamy hero

I loved every bit of this story. I've read all the books in the Bodyguard series so far and this is probably my favorite. The hero and heroine genuinely complete each other and compliment each other nicely. This wasn't a big suspense thriller. For me, it was a lively pace with a beautiful love story. The tension between the two main characters kept things interesting and the little twist at the end was nicely wrapped up.

Love it!

Another great book by Kristi Avalon I the Billionaire Bodyguard Series. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I'm really glad we got to read more about Slone and Lindsey, but Alone especially. I enjoyed Slone in Case and Kylie's story and desperately wanted to read more about him so I'm glad Kristi Avalon gave us a chance to do that. I would definitely recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense books.

SLOAN AND LINDSEY

Oh so good. He was so broken, she accepted him as is and healed his heart. Their love story as good as the others, just no mystery in this one. Still it wasn't a sickeningly sweet romantic farce. That's one of the many reasons I love your books Kristi. Onto the next story about Adam. I've been waiting for this one. I love me some Adam!!!!
