This helpful book supplies loving, Scriptural-based responses to some common objections to Christianity. In this unique narrative, author Mark A. Paustian provides engaging answers to questions about why bad things happen, different interpretations of Scripture, abortion, miracles, evidence of God's existence, Jesus as myth, and morality.
Paustian takes a bit of a unique approach to answering questions about the Christian faith in this book. He uses stories (particularly from the ministry of Jesus) and the kind of casual language you would expect to see in someone's personal journal to make his point. Mixed in with his storytelling are concrete answers to the questions, however, they are sometimes easy to lose in his writing style. To get the most out of this book, one must read it not just to "learn" but to "feel." The reader must be willing to picture what is being said and to experience it. If they do this, they will feel the full weight of Paustian's arguments and answers. Although he gives many good answers to tough questions, this is not a book for the person looking for clear-cut, concrete answers. There are better books to serve that purpose. This book is for those who need to feel the answers emotionally as well.
