3.75 stars! 🌟 Let’s goooo! After 8 straight reads that didn’t even scratch the 3-star mark, FINALLY a book that made me smile again! 🙌 This is my third Anna B. Doe book, and honestly, Blake & Sav’s story has been on my mind forever. I’ve been waiting for this since Becky & Miguel’s story rocked my world last year! This one? My absolute fave by Anna so far! 💖
Need You to Choose Me was sweet, emotional, and oh-so-swoony! Savannah finds herself in a sticky situation after a no-names, no-kisses one-night stand leaves her with a big surprise on a pregnancy test. But plot twist: Mr. Mystery Daddy, Blake Walker, is not just anyone—he’s an ex-NFL player, a single dad, and now her student’s dad too! 👀 Fate said, "Oh, you thought this was over? Let’s spice things up!"
The chemistry between Blake and Savannah is 🔥 but also layered with vulnerability and real-life struggles. Blake is the kind of book boyfriend we all want—protective, caring, and determined to step up for everyone he loves. His bond with his sons? Heart-melting. 🥹 Savannah’s past trauma made her so relatable, and watching her slowly open up to Blake and his boys? UGH, my heart! 💔 But don’t worry, this isn’t just pain—it’s full of warmth, laughter, and that perfect small-town charm.
Tropes galore! 💙 Single dad x teacher 💙 Small-town romance 💙 One-night stand turned everything 💙 Accidental pregnancy 💙 Found family 💙 Age gap 💙 Ex-NFL player
If you love a sweet yet emotional read with all the feels, this one’s for you! Blake and Sav’s journey to trust, love, and family had me rooting for them the whole time. Plus, those Walker boys stole my heart! 🥰 Not every moment was perfect, and I felt the pacing dipped in some places, but the story overall was so heartfelt that I didn’t mind. Highly recommend adding this to your TBR if you love small-town, swoony romances with a pinch of drama and lots of heart! 💕
definitely a new favorite surprise pregnancy book for me!!!!
i laughed, i cried, i blushed, i got butterflies - this story was just everything.
when she asked the hot stranger at the bar for one night with no names… she did not anticipate needing to find him after a positive pregnancy test. luckily, he’s just moved to her small town AND has a son in her class. her hot stranger/baby daddy is a single dad to two boys already and now she has to tell him he’s unlocked baby #3.
this story had so much going on but it never felt like too much, i just breezed through it. blake’s dealing with the fall out of his divorce and raising two kids on his own (one a boundary-pushing teen) and he’s overjoyed she’s back in his life until he realizes she has trust issues a mile high and is not going to make things easy for him. he was just a constant for her in every way and was happy to put her doubts to rest every single time.
i just love them and their family. this story had so much tension and chemistry but the way blake and sav healed each other and healed blake’s broken home was everything!!!
Nothing ever beats a good single dad romance 🤭👏🏾 but this was even better because it had the unexpected pregnancy trope 🤭✨♥️ let's not forget about the one night stand🤭👏🏾.
Maybe I had too high expectations because of the first book, but I am deeply disappointed. Their love story was cute and that's the only reason it's two stars. What disappointed me was how superficial the characters were. The conflict between Blake and his son Daniel went for months and all of a sudden within a few pages everything was fine? No way. In general I was disappointed that all the conflict with his son was just ignored and not solved with conversation and discussion. For example why he was in a fight. Blake just blatantly ignored all of it, but it could've been something super important like bullying. Instead he worked on his new relationship instead of repairing the ones with his kids that were damaged, especially the one to Daniel. The "he will come around" that Blake was always thinking isn't doing it for me and a good parent would have talked it out and tried to get to the bottom of it. Blake didn't grow as character and didn't learn what happened and went wrong so he can become a better father. Same with Levi's trauma of being abandoned. Instead of actively working on it, it's being enabled. In general I think the two main characters weren't deep enough but Blake was really a disappointment and his behaviour as father questionable. Savannah as a teacher should have also acted differently when she witnessed the kids and their traumas and relationships with their father but stayed silent and rather worked on the new relationship.

This is my first book by Anna B. Doe and as soon as I saw the blurb I knew, I had to have it and read it.
Savannah never did anything wild in her life, but after her grandma's funeral she went to a bar and met a gorgeous man. One thing let to another, and they had the hottest one-night stand. Months later, Blake comes to love in Bluebonnet Creek. Well, he is in for a surprise when he sees Savannah and her being pregnant. From this moment on, their love journey begins.
I loved these two. I loved them as a couple and I loved them as friends. At the beginning, she was very hesitant if she should start knowing him better, but bit by bit he took down her defenses. I loved the fact that he was determined to make her his. He wanted her trust and her love, and he secured it so beautifully and, in the end, their love bloomed.
Yes, the book was quite long, but I loved the fact that the author gave them a chance to really get to know each other and properly fall in love.
What I also loved in this book were their love scenes. When they finally got together, the passion was already scorching hot and it became even more. There was so much smut and spice that made my romantic soul swoon.
In the end, I fell in love with this story and its characters.
There's just something about small town romances, I absolutely love them and this one is no exception, I'm so excited to be back in Bluebonnet creek, as soon as it hit my kindle I was straight in, I blew through the pages in one sitting because I could not put it down. Blake and Savannah have my whole heart. Blake has the most delicious dirty mouth. Anna has weaved everything I love about small town romances and all the emotions it brings out in me. It has it all, it's emotional and romantic, infuriating and heartbreaking with a lot of happiness thrown in. I'm now all gooey and warm... It's an absolute must read.
TROPES- Single Dad Accidental pregnancy Found family Ex Football Player Age Gap Small Town
✨️ This is the 2nd book in an inter connected standalone series. I read it as a standalone and it completely worked without making me feel lost. This was such a sweet yet heartbreaking at times read. Savannah has had some past trauma, but when she finds out she's going to have a baby after a one night stand, she decides she's going to keep the baby and raise it on her own. Fate has another plan 🤭🤭. I love Blake and how he is all in to take care of his kids from a prior relationship, and Sav and the baby she's carrying. He is the sweetest, and I loved reading as the charachters as well as their relationship blossomed and grew. I definitely recommend to all my friends ❤️.
Thank you to Anna for allowing me to read and review this ARC!
3.5 My Kindle told me this was almost a 10 hour read and I almost NOPED right out of it. Glad I didn’t because it was a surprisingly emotional romance (possible spoilers ahead)
The plot was simple enough- H and h meet at a bar. No names. They have a ONS. She leaves before he wakes. A few months later, H retires from the NFL and moves to a small town with his two sons aged 16 and 6. h just so happens to be the 6 year old’s teacher. Surprise! She’s pregnant and it’s H’s baby. He WANTS her immediately, but he will have a long hill to climb for their HEA.
Where the emotional stuff comes in is h dealing with her past and how that affects every part of her life. H is all in from the moment he’s reunited with h, h is the one who has issues. You’ll get flashes of her past with her mom. Absolutely heartbreaking. I didn’t like h much, until I realized what she had lived through. You do understand why she is the way she is.
Then the stuff with H’s 16 year old son. It was so powerful and very relatable. All the anger that kid is carrying around. 😭 I didn’t understand why H didn’t explore the issues more instead he was always saying “he’ll come around” ugh. Both kids sounded like they needed therapy.
The main reason I rated it mid-range was just because of the “it’s mighty convenient” plot line. For example- H just happens to move to the small town his ONS lives in. H just happens to be BFF with h’s BFF. Both MCs friend groups were connected by NFL players.
Ohhh my goodness this story was so beautiful! I fell in love with Anna’s storytelling in “It Should have been us” and being back in Bluebonnet Creek with Blake and Savannah’s story, was like coming home. Especially because it takes place in Texas!
After two nameless strangers spend one incredible night together, they go their separate ways. But surprise! Savannah finds out she’s pregnant and has no clue who her baby’s daddy is. Blake is starting over in the small town of Bluebonnet Creek with his two sons. He’s recently retired from the NFL and wants a peaceful life with his kids. What he was not expecting was not only running into the beautiful woman he met months ago, at his son’s new school. But that she was in fact, pregnant. “Blondie?” Aaahhhh I loved it every single time he said that name to her!
With the voices of her past telling her that no one will ever love her, Savannah struggles quite a bit letting Blake in. They’re both Dealing with feelings of doubt and insecurities and it’s beautiful to see two people, well five of them, find a home in someone, they least expected. Need you to choose me will officially be out January 24th! And it’s a must read 💕
Arc review for Need You To Choose Me by Anna B. Doe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was my second book by Anna and I can easily say it won’t be my last. I am so grateful to have received an arc for this and I enjoyed it so much I was definitely feeling all the feels.
Small Town romances are some of my favourites throw in a surprise pregnancy, single parent and found family I was all in right from the start.
I adored Blake and Savannah so much. Blake was such a dedicated father to his son’s and as soon as he found out about Savannah’s pregnancy he did everything in his power to make her feel safe and wanted. Savannah’s vulnerability had me so emotional her past with her mother was so upsetting and seeing how that affected her throughout her whole life was really something. Watching not only the relationship between the MC’s but what really got me was the relationship between Sav and Blake’s sons it was so heartwarming and beautiful.
Tropes: 🩷 single dad x sons teacher 🩷 small town romance 🩷 one night stand 🩷 found family 🩷 accidental pregnancy 🩷 ex-nfl player turned peewee coach 🩷 age gap
What a cute book! This was my first book I’ve read by Anna B Doe and the first one I’ve read in the series and I didn’t feel like I was cutting in and lost. This can definitely be read as a standalone.
It had me at small town romance, surprise pregnancy, and single dad. Let’s add in there an ex-NFL single dad! Savannah and Blake’s story is so sweet and perfection. Savannah showing her vulnerability due to past trauma made her relatable. I loved the love Blake has for his boys and her. He had to fight hard to find that balance in his life hence why he’s an amazing book boyfriend! The instant connection between them was everything too.
This heartbreaking, yet uplifting story needs to be put in your TBR!
*Thank you Anna B. Doe for the gifted copy!

This author was new to me, and I definitely enjoyed her writing.
Savannah and Blake met each other at a bar and then spent the night together. No names, no kissing, nothing personal. They went their separate ways.
Months on Blake moves himself and his sons to Bluebonnet Creek. Savannah just so happens to be his son Levi's school teacher, and she is pregnant with his baby!
Savannah doesn't trust easily, and Blake will do whatever it takes to prove he will take care of her and be there for her, to be part of their lives. To be a family.
This was a sweet read. My heart broke a little for poor Levi. He is such a sweet boy. I love Blake he stopped at nothing to prove he was there for Sav and those boys. 🥰
“And sue me for wanting to make you happy and see that smile on your face. Be the one who puts that smile on your face.”
ANNA, Savannah and Blake’s story is EVERYTHING. If you’re a fan of small town romances with an incredible plot, relatable and entertaining characters, and wonderful friendships, I highly suggest reading Need You To Choose Me by Anna B. Doe! Now, I know the accidental pregnancy trope isn’t everyone’s favorite BUT it was done so well in this book!!
Savannah is such a lovely character. She’s resilient, kind, and always puts others needs first. She goes through a lot in this book, from beginning to end, but learns so much about herself and the people she cares about. Blake is the perfect book boyfriend. He has a grumpy exterior but would do absolutely anything for his children and for Savannah.
From the moment the two meet, sparks fly! Savannah and Blake make an excellent couple and their romance is so fun to read about! One of my favorite aspects of this book was the interactions between Savannah and Blake’s two boys, Levi and Daniel. While one child adores her, the other struggles to accept her. It was so interesting to see how their relationships developed throughout the entire book!
I had high hopes. But it became painfully clear this was not what I expected, and instead was almost 500 pages of Blake focusing on trying to build a relationship with his new baby momma and completely ignoring his out of control, hurting, 16yo son. He spends the entire book saying “he’ll come around” and letting him walk away, instead of actually DOING anything at all to help his kid. 🤬 in fact, when Daniel does finally “come around” it has zero to do with anything Blake has done at all. But Daniel did get a front row seat to watch his dad work to be a better father to his 6yo brother, even coaching his pee wee football team, when he couldn’t even show up to any of the activities Daniel was ever involved in during his younger years. Just to rub that salt in a little bit more.
Blake was not a bad guy- he went into the NFL with the intention of giving his kids everything he never had. Unfortunately that made him an absent father, and when his asshole (and even more negligent) wife takes off he is left with two hurting traumatized kids. I initially saw the glaring mistakes he had made, and continued to make, and gave him the benefit of the doubt- sometimes we make shitty mistakes as parents, even when we have good intentions. But he literally NEVER STOPS.
Blake’s oldest son is a 16 yo mouthy disrespectful asshole. He’s clearly struggling outwardly the most with his parents divorce and his mom taking off, as well as a lifetime of neglect by both parents, but he’s so far past the line of appropriate that it makes me grind my teeth. Unfortunately he is “on scene” only to pop in and be horrendous, and then every single time Blake pretty much does nothing to correct him or repair their relationship, or maybe get the kid some help for his clearly deep rooted issues. I found it super frustrating. He miraculously gets better at the end, but it’s not because Blake did any amazing relationship building with him. I wish there had been even a hint of effort. They epilogue a scene where they are working on a car together, but this happens AFTER Daniel miraculously “heals” and they become a happy family.
What was needed was for all of them to go to therapy. For Blake to have ANY conversation with Daniel ever about they got there, how he was sorry for his mistakes, why he was trying to be a better father. But over and over again, Daniel was ignored. There are loads of scenes with Blake and his 6yo, and Daniel is never involved.
Blake goes on about wanting to be a better father, but spends the entire book neglecting his responsibilities to his two existing kids while chasing the baby momma who works just as hard to push him away. I thought my biggest gripe was going to be her- but I was wrong.
She’s billed as being hyper-independent, but I have to say she was mostly just an ass at times. It felt more like she uses her trauma as an excuse to behave poorly.
Example: They had a one night stand, then reconnected during her pregnancy, and when she later learns he used to play in the NFL she has a tantrum because he didn’t tell her 🙄 You guys weren’t exactly sharing life stories, lady. She wildly overreacts to the point of obnoxious. She literally falls through the stair of her run down house, and he dares to fix it. She says “I’m going to kill him!” 🙄
Yes, she had childhood trauma. Her mom is horrendous. She definitely needs therapy. But you can’t blame your trauma for ever, and at some point you’re responsible for your actions. And sometimes you’re an ass. Also- why did her mom even come back for a second? It was stupid. She says “Give me what I want or you’ll be sorry!” They refuse, she threatens them… but then just leaves? What? 🙄
This was entirely too long of a book for nothing to have been done, and then it all just works out on its own at the very end. Ignore your clearly spiraling, out of control, wildly inappropriate comment making son for the whole book? Nah. Not a hero in my book.

• Thoughts: I liked this one. This is actually a new to me author, and I am very much looking forward to her next book along with going back and reading her back list. Okay... on to my thoughts, I loved the build up of Savannah and Blake. Starting off as a one night stand. This book started off with a bang. (Giggles to self) A lot happened in the first little bit of this book. Then, we get to see how the main characters navigate their lives. He is a single dad with demons. She is dealing with a pregnancy, and she doesn't trust easily. She struggles with childhood trauma. I love watching Blake break down these walls and slowly gain her trust. They are both navigating a new normal while dealing with past issues and learning to gain trust and comfort with one another. I truly appreciate what the author did for this couple. It really is a healing story. I adored it so much. Well done Anna!
•Recommend: I will always encourage people to read what makes them happy. Even if I rate a book lower, if it sounds like a book, you can get behind. Read it! I am simply here stating my views and thoughts on the book. My reviews are just that, my opinions. Happy reading, friends
I know accidental pregnancies aren’t for everyone and I am picky about them, but damn if I don’t love them when they’re done right! And this one…was done RIGHT! The parallels between Savannah’s mom and Blake’s ex wife were done so well as was the stark differences that children of varying ages can respond to their parent moving on. Blake was unwavering in his resolve to do right not only by his existing family, but the one he was building too. Sav was in such a tough place and I felt like the way that they navigated it was both beautiful and the perfect mixture realistic and dramatic. (Plus their chemestry and spice quality was off the charts 🔥)
Geez apparently I can’t click the right reading status. Speed read this one today. Happy Easter! lol. Once again, another one that I didn’t have high standards for so it didn’t really disappoint. Classic parent trope but those have been scratching my brain in all the right ways lately. Overall pretty good 3.75 stars
Need You To Want Me by Anna B. Doe Series Bluebonnet Creek Series Release: January
I found Need You to Want Me by Anna B. Doe to be an exceptional read that I couldn't put down and finished in less than 24 hours. I typically steer away from ARCS that contain children and pregnancy tropes. However, I would highly recommend adding this read to your TBR!
I'm in my small town era and loving it. Because those stories had such an enigmatic charm that makes you wanna move to one of those small towns right now and never come back. And if that small town romance is written by Anna B Dow then you're in for a treat because her stories are fairly tales full of love and magic, meddling friends and family and that much needed evil person to add to the drama. And let me tell you I was waiting way too long for Need You To Choose Me but that wait was so worth it. Ever since I read that snippet of Blake and Savannah's story I knew it that it will be a great one . This one is unputdownable, literally. Read it for a day and I wish I could read it for a first time once again. Blake and Sav were perfect together. They have instant attraction, crazy hot chemistry and are pure fire. And their story starts with a bang, pun intended, when they meet and have that burning hot one night stand. When they meet again all bets are off . Blake wants a relationship with her and it looks like he can have it all if only he can convince Sav that he's there for her . It looks like Sav kept something from him but couldn't find him. Now that he's in Bluebonnet Creek they have the opportunity to have a relationship and to fix all their wrongs . Because these two have ghosts from the past that haunt them and mes with their future. Blake is genuinely good guy with a heart of gold who loves his sons and is fixing his broken family and at the same time is building a relationship with Savannah. Sav is fighting with her fears so she can have her dream come true. It was so entertaining to follow the family dynamics through the story. Till the end of the story all the issues from the past were resolved, the family ties reconnected and that broken hearts healed. And let me tell you I loved that epilogue and bonus epilogue. They were chef's kiss. Now I can't wait to see who is the next couple in the Bluebonnet Creek series and all the surprises Anna B Dow keeps in store for us .
Thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.
Ok, this is probably a really good book, and I'm sure it gets better. I had to rate it SOMETHING and I settled on 2 stars. I just couldn't get past the fact that the FMC rubbed me the wrong damn way early on. Yes, I get that she went through some BS even before she met the MMC, but by the time I got to the conversation the characters have when he sees that she lives across the street, I just couldn't get past Savannah and all the shit she said to Blake about the baby. Yes, she is the mother and she is the one carrying the baby, but in my opinion, that doesn't give her the right to make all the decisions about the baby. Telling him about the baby was the right thing to do. At least she did that. It really pi$$es me off when the female doesn't say anything. Even if he wanted to wash his hands of the whole situation, he was at least owed the chance if he wanted it. That's his baby too. Half him, half her. So for her to just try to brush him off right out the gate made me not want to read any more. She acted like she got pregnant all on her own. And why get mad that he wants to fix the porch? She almost fell. That makes no sense. Especially considering the fact that she didn't really have the means to get it done herself. So, did she just not give a damn that she and her unborn baby could have been hurt? Here's a guy willing to step in and help, and she's acting like he's bugging the hell out of her.. anyway, that's when I stopped reading. Other people will no doubt enjoy this book, and maybe I would too if I read the whole thing, but her attitude just turned me off the whole thing.
I rcvd an ARC of this book, all thoughts are my own.
I have waited patiently for Blake and Savannah's story, and it did not disappoint. The first book of the Bluebonnet series was super emotional for me - and this one ramped up that emotion. I love a good rom-com, but when a book can make me mad, make me tear up or make me laugh aloud, that book gets a 5 star automatic. This book made me do all the above.
After their no-strings-attached, no-names one-night-stand, Savannah finds herself pregnant by the mystery man she met in the bar, not knowing it was a friend of her friend's husband. Lo and behold Blake Walker moves in right across the street from Savannah AND has a son in Savannah's class! Sav is a spitfire who has had to endure a lot of talk in their small town, and she is dealing with a lot of emotions being a single mother. She has abandonment and trust issues. My heart hurt for her. But once Blake finds out the baby is his, he sets out to make sure Sav is never alone. Even when his teenage song rebels and a health crisis for Sav causes chaos.
I felt every emotion that fluttered through Sav's head, and I just knew that eventually, she was going to let down her walls. Blake was the perfect man for her, and he worked every day to show her, rather than tell her. His love language was definitely acts of service.
Need You To Choose Me is one of my favorite Anna B. Doe books of all time!!!!!!
We’re back in Bluebonnet Creek. And I’m for one excited about that. This is one of the best series ever.
This book has all of the tropes to make a beautiful romance story. Small town and surprise pregnancy….swoon.
Blake Walker and Savannah Parker are two of the most adorable characters out there. This story is beautiful and a tear jerker. Bluebonnet is a fun town where everyone knows everyone so when Blake Walker arrives he’s definitely the town hunk but Savannah didn’t think she would see him again so imagine her surprise when he shows up to school the first day dropping off his son. That’s where the story really begins.
Blake is so different. He fights for what he wants and won’t let anything come between that and his end game. Savannah is more reserved and willing to do things on her own. Blake and Savannah couldn’t be more perfect for each other!!!
Definitely a top read of the year already and 2025 just started.
4.25 stars!!! This was my first Anna B. Doe book, but certainly not my last!! This was the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. There were a few moments that had me questioning how realistic the events were, like maybe the writing could be a bit better. But overall, I loveddd reading this!! Savannah is selfless, funny, and thoughtful. She’s brave and shows her vulnerability with her past. And just wants someone to choose her and love her, which I think a lot of people can relate to. Blake is determined, patient, and so loving. I adore how perceptive and gentle he was with Savannah. And my heart felt for him when he was trying to juggle both his kids and Savannah and the baby. I loved seeing both his and Savannah’s relationship with the kids grow into something so beautiful!
“This woman has built walls as tight as Fort Knox around herself, but every now and then, traces of that softness hiding beneath them would show.”
3.75/4⭐️
Bluebonnet Creekseries is back with book 2Need You To Choose Me. Author Anna B. Doe has following the story of Savannah ‘Sav’ Jane Parker and Blake Walker in this One Night Stand, Surprise Pregnancy, Single Dad, Found Family, Small Town Romance. Told through their dual POVs.
Two complete strangers having a ONS (One Night Stand), what could possibly go wrong? Some time later is when Savannah finds out with a plus sign to show for it, yet no baby daddy to account for. That is until she bumps into him at her work, where she is the school teacher of Blake’s son Levi. A surprise to them both, especially for Blake when he sees her bump.
Need You to Choose Memay have had the usual elements when it came to being a Small Town Romance read. Drama that not only came from the MMC and FMC, as well as the town given it was small and so there was bound to be gossip from locals causing this. Some of whom were secondary characters. Leading tensions to rise, whilst suspense is building, especially from what was alluded to. Paving way to a rocky journey for Sav and Blake. Yet it was the majorly high, emotionally charged part that led to the whirlwind rollercoaster ride Sav and Blake found themselves upon with all the feelings and emotions explored, endured and occasionally suffered through. Then again it wasn’t surprising, on the one hand you had Sav who was not only juggling work, her pregnancy and emotional baggage from her past. All the whilst navigating having her baby daddy Blake and his family in her life, since she thought she would be doing this all alone. Something that wasn’t an easy feat from what author Anna showcased of Sav through her POV chapters, whilst allowing her inner monologue to voice to us. From the high and lows of her emotions, whether it be happy, excitement and joy to sadness, heartache and sadness given her inner turmoil. To the drama that came from different corners, which was expected since living in a Small Town means gossip will do that. And confronting her past. It had us being able to delve into Sav’s character from the exploration when it came to her character development presented along the way of the plot development. Which very thorough and deep at times.
Major props should definitely been given to Sav. From the way she tried to be strong and handle everything, especially when it came to Blake’s kids, one of whom created tension from creating problems. And yet she always tried to do her best to navigate around it, even when that meant pushing Blake to put his kids first.
As for Blake, he had his own problems to deal with given all that he had on his plate, which you could see he did try his best to juggle as well. Yet wasn’t the greatest at it, given how often he still made mistakes. Just like with Sav, we were also able to get a feel for Blake from the situations and events he faced and found himself in, all of which he voiced loud and clear through his inner monologue. Allowing depth to the exploration of his character development, particularly with his emotions, given all that he was feeling. Especially towards Sav.
It needs to be said, Levi was such a sweet character, who most definitely stole the show many times throughout. The way he shined so bright and loud throughout the story made for some great moments.
Considering the length of the book, I will say I actually expected to see more development come out of Blake and Daniel’s relationship. In fact I had been wishing for more exploration and development, as it was very much needed IMO. Due to the lack of progress actually shown on page, it meant there was hardly much growth between the two to be talked about. Their relationship just seemed to jump from one end to the other, without any progress made in between to show them fixing it. Instead it just seemed to be swept under the rug IMO. And considering how many times Blake mentioned about wanting to be there for Daniel and Levi by putting them first, seeing as he mentioned his guilt about him not being there for them in the beginning. The fact that he never followed through when he had the opportunity, instead using some sort of excuse or pushing it off or choosing otherwise annoyed me. It was basically history repeating itself for Blake with not learning from his mistakes by doing what he said he wouldn’t do in the first place. Further adding to my dislike of him in those moments.
With a story that followed a journey full of deep emotions, whilst overcoming uphill mountains in the form of self-love, growth and acceptance for both Sav and Blake. It can be said, author Anna B. Doe did a good job in delivering this pleasant read that wasNeed You to Choose MefromBluebonnet Creekseries.
