I think it’s crazy that this is a whole 400+ page book for actions that takes place over a span of 1-2 days… the author is dragging this out real bad but I’ll still be tuned in ig

Lei and Moni together are explosive there story is sensual but so much more than the physical ..Even though Lei is a powerful man in every right Moni is his match in every way she is sweet but assertive when she needs to be something Lei is not use to but he likes it..There love is so unique and powerful but beautiful at the same time it’s so exotic the colors of blue the ceremonies..I was waiting for Lei’s story and it’s the best two books by far..The East was brought to life in these two books can’t wait to read the rest..Looking forward to the rest of the diamond syndicate stories to be told..Loved the kindle vella book of Lei…..Amazing storytelling

WILD WILD WILD 🔥
Wild Wild Thoughts song with Rihanna just kept playing on repeat in my head throughout Beautiful Vengeance and Cruel Devotion... The slow burn between Lei and Moni was so 🔥. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Of course the writing is phenomenal, Ms. Wright has a way with words that puts you right into their world giving you a visionary layout. Making you feel all the action and imagery within the story feeling each character's emotions. It's definitely an adventure with a lot of BDE😉. I sometimes have to detox when getting back to my reality lol and that's with All her books 💯! I loved it and can't wait for April 1st for Wicked Vows 🥰

In the previous book we learn that Lei took the remains of his crush and Monique has her dad remains as well. I am wondering how these things not stinking yet.
Duck believes he can offer more to Monique and is pushing against Lei's claim for her.
Chen is doing his best to put out all the little problems that keep popping up.
Lei and Monique are spending more time together, sh3 is no longer cuffed to him but Monique still think she can walk away at the end of their agreed time. Monique agreed to stay by his side until he battles his dad. Monique is getting more involved in Lei's world.
They finally come together in this book and Lei survived it all....lol

Get ready for a rollercoaster page turner with this book
If y thought book one was intense you are in for a wild ride with book two
I can’t express how exciting it was and how I am just going to get Nook 3 because I can’t wait to read what happens next.
The Cookie Monster scene had me laughing out loud.

I love this series and I’m slowly becoming obsessed. I absolutely love the dramatic mess of Chen! This 2nd book give more insight of Lei life, a little of his background his sister enters the chat and she is messy! Duck is still flirty and come to the conclusion that Lei loves Moni and he will step back. Moni is steeping in to her own and grabbing power on the way of figuring out where she fits in to her new life or if this is even for her! Can’t wait for book 3! Wish we got more of Yan and her story as well as Moni and Lei connecting.

Lei’s sister is a piece of work that does the unthinkable. Leo is still keeping tabs while lurking in the background. Moni is gaining more ground and coming into her own. The battle has yet to come. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Sensory overload!
Wow, wow, wow! The sensory overload scene was one of the best intimacy scenes I’ve ever read. But when thinking back, the whole novel gave lots of sensory descriptions that made the story come to life. Wright does this in most of her novels, but all felt more heightened here. The mountain, the food, the body scents, the obsession… I’m left speechless and I’m already having withdrawal symptoms. Need book 3 release date to hurry up !

Part two hit hard
Well… I’m ready for the next book ! Kenya this story keeps us on the edge wondering what’s going to happen next , the fact that you are able to stretch this love story out and still keep our attention is amazing. I am ready to see what else is uncovered because Leo got some moves .

A different kind of "Devotion"
The story continues in the 2nd book & it doesn't have a dull moment. Lei & Monique are still learning more about each other among other things. I am loving the action, drama, and of course steamy romance. There are few characters that I am watching closely. I am looking forward to seeing how the story continues progress.

Best Writer!!!
Man the only problem I have with her books is she can't write them fast enough.... I'm hook..I read this book like in five hours....I didn't think I could fall in love with a set of characters again after reading the the mouse and the lion .I am so ready for the next book its going to be a long month......

Great World Building. It was easy to visualize the pictures formed by Kenya's words. Opulent is one word that comes to the forefront of my mind. What a date!
Duck, Chen, Hu and Banks—I want them all to get their own love stories.
Before I go, the scene talking about Aunt Suzi's past life had me on the floor laughing my ass off. Hilarious!

omg yes more please
OK, I’m gonna lie. The buildup was worth it. Yes yes yes more please yes, go to the next book. This is very much addictive. If you have not read the first one you need to go back because the buildup for just sex was fucking crazy, but it was worth it OK every bitI wouldn’t change a thing about the story.

Enjoying the reread so to speak.
So far these two books are mostly a recap of what I've read in the Vellas that were posted when that program was active. Some of the story is extended (i.e. the counsel on the mountain) I don't remember the Vella being that detailed. However, I am thoroughly enjoying the recap. I hoping when I get to the end of book three I'm caught up and the final two books will be all new for me! So loving this series!!!

I am really enjoying this series, Ms. Wright. I am enjoying Monica's strength, courage, and her independence. I like the fact that she challenges Lei and doesn't just cave. Can't wait yo see what book 3 brings.

One seeds I on to the Max
Lei is still obese with Monique, but still mourning Chanel. Now his sister Yan, shows up and tells them that Leo has been manipulating them for years. Yan then steals Chanel body. I love Chen, Hu and especially Duck. Their journey continues.

So good. I’m at the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next. Leo is something else. As well as his son Lei. And it seems the aunts, the witty cousins, and now Lei’s sister are all bringing comedic relief throughout the story.

This is the second series I’ve read by this author. It’s fun, spicy and as soon as I am finished one book I am ready to grab the next one. I am interested to see how the next book goes, and if the father-son battle happens.
