A decades-old mystery. A missing bride. And a Swiftie pub owner who really didn’t sign up for this.
Elle Harper thought running a pub in Cornelia Cove meant pouring drinks, hosting Swiftie nights, and occasionally wrangling her friends out of mild mischief. But when an old wedding photo resurfaces—along with a fresh murder—she finds herself tangled in a mystery that’s older than her vintage barstools.
Now, Elle and the Swift Justice Club are on the case, dodging cryptic warnings, nosy townsfolk, and one very persistent golden retriever. The deeper they dig, the weirder things get—because in Cornelia Cove, the past never stays buried, small-town gossip is deadlier than poison, and apparently, wedding dresses can hold grudges.
If you love cozy mysteries with snarky sleuths, small-town secrets, and just the right amount of Swiftie chaos, grab a margarita and dive into Delicate Evidence!
That Sunny always cracks me up! She had so many funny quotes I’ve lost track, but I love her for giving some comic relief when the Swift Justice Club needs it most. They were on another twisty mystery surrounding a local family and not about to give up since once of their friends was killed over a secret he uncovered.
The perp definitely wasn’t who I was leaning toward, but the showdown was still satisfying as was the ending. And the very ending led into what’s probably gonna be the next mystery. I was super happy to see a familiar face return, one that Elle was probably even happier to see!
Cornelia Cove contains numerous secrets, one of which has resulted in a death. When Elle discovers the body of a young man in a local business, she worries that someone close to her may be the killer. Elle Harper, Cam, Sunny, and Willow find themselves under scrutiny as they start to investigate the incident. This entertaining and engaging storyline with well-written characters and a great mystery is a fun and quick read. This is my honest, voluntary review of an advanced reader copy of this book.
A mysterious faded photo of a bride heralds the beginning of a new mystery in Cornelia Cove. Elle Harper and her friends dig into town history to find out more. They aren't the only ones searching for answers. When Tommy is murdered, the Swifties realize someone wants the secrets to stay hidden. Not only does the Swift Justice Club want answers, they want justice. It’s the start of Swiftie mayhem.
The Swiftie crew is hilarious but they get results. I am enjoying this series. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
Elle and her friends have another murder to solve. It starts off with an old photo of a lady in a wedding dress, but she disappeared before the wedding. Lots of historic mysteries to solve. Then someone gets murdered, he was digging too deep & fear is felt by quite a few people. Obviously someone doesn’t want the ancient history sorted out. An interesting read.
The crowd at the Velvet Anchor is puzzling over an old photo and decides to research it, since it could add to the town's history and that of the pub as well. But somebody doesn't want secrets to come to light! Join them and start turning pages as you discover threats, clues and a good ending. - I received an advance copy and freely leave this honest review.
Don’t you just love small towns? And small town amateur sleuths who can’t keep their nose out of others business? Who, hopefully have a good relationship with local law enforcement? I do. Elle would be a sister of the heart for me. I thoroughly enjoy the way she pulls everyone into her orbit and gets them all involved in the snooping.
A fun cozy mystery set at an old seaside bar. When a local businessman is murdered Elle and the Swift Justice Club are on the case. A nice twisty plot, interesting characters and good craftsmanship make this one a winner. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
This story was like a puzzle whose pieces kept multiplying, expanding the scope of what might have happened. The mystery is old, but the fear is ever present. This story grabs your attention and doesn't let go. This was a most excellent read!!!!!
Elle finds the body of a neighboring business person in his store. He had been working on a wedding dress that has a long and sordid history. Elle and the Swift Justice Club on the case to solve the murder and discover why he was killed. Plenty of mystery and intrigue, threats and suspense.
I enjoy the way Elle and her friends approach a mystery with thoughtfulness and a bit of humor mixed in. Fun series! These are my thoughts after reading an early copy of the book.
Wow!!! Talk about a roller coaster ride of events; this book just didn't stop. One surprise after another, I mean this is one twisted story. Really really good!!
