“… I’m the only Queen in this city.”
This is a book two but I believe it can be read as a standalone.
This book was SO MUCH fun. It was a whirlwind and I loved it. Wyatt is a typical possessive mafia MMC but Kendall is my girl. 🤌🏻 *chefs kiss* From the beginning she stands her ground but by the end she is literal Queen!
I loved that this was only from Kendall’s POV. While this has lots of romance (and it’s adorable) it’s about Kendall’s journey into figuring out who she is. And who she is is a boss babe! I’m excited to see more from Ox!
The ONLY thing that I wish was maybe a little different was Harper. They were bffs and Harper was never there. I feel like she would have been a fun character to be there with Kendall especially with her involvement with Gabe and her parents but I still liked Harper and enjoyed this book either way.
Def check this out if you love strong FMCs and the mafia environment. The last 1/3 or so was so much fun. I was smiling while people were dying 🤷♀️😂

I can't believe just how much I loved Hidden Queen as college graduate Kendall despite being told not to, goes to Vegas for an internship only to discover that her entire life has been one big lie and she’s really a Mafia Queen. More surprisingly she takes to her new life like a duck to water and soon the body count is rising as she proves to the men under her that there’s a new lady boss in town and she’s a badass! Of course, every queen needs a consort and hers is Wyatt, heir apparent to one of the other four families that rule Vegas. To begin with there’s a lot of animosity between them as Wyatt is a bit of a throwback and all “I’m the man, obey me” - something a badass like Kendall wasn’t about to put up with even before she found out about her heritage. There were definite fireworks between them combined with some wickedly delicious and amusing banter leading to them wanting to jump each other at every opportunity. With the story told Kendall’s point of view as she navigated the dangerous waters of Mafia politics while trying to solve the murder of her family and stay alive long enough to marry Wyatt, there was nonstop action right from the start and a great twist at the end that I definitely didn’t see coming. I would perhaps have liked more about Kendall’s relationship with her BFF Harper who played a major role to begin with before slipping into the background but I’m still glad I took a chance in reading this author.

Kept me on the edge of my seat! This was my first read from Amber, but definitely won’t be my last, and I will definitely need to go back and read the first book in this series! While I didn’t feel like I was missing anything while reading and loved that it could be read as a true stand-alone, I loved it so much I want to get to know the other characters! This installment focuses on Kendall, who has a recurring dream/nightmare that feels so real but is gaslit by family into thinking it’s just a dream. Her guardians have kept her away from Las Vegas, adamant that nothing good comes from there, but when a post-grad internship opportunity presents itself, she decides to lie and move there for the summer with her best friend. In an interesting turn of events, she meets Wyatt through her new neighbor, and it becomes a blind-date turned insta-love for these two. Turns out it’s much more than it seems when Kendall’s past and true identity come to light. While the storyline was pretty obvious, I still loved reading this and was kept on the edge of my seat while seeing Kendall navigate the truth and her rightful spot in the family. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series!

First off, I want to shout out a big thank you to WildFire Marketing solutions and Amber Allee for the PR package! I’m so sorry it took so long to post, my neighbor ended up receiving it and I’m so happy it was returned to me ‘unopened’ too! I loved all the little details on this package from the dice lollipop to the fun hidden queen cards!

Rounded up. I enjoyed this one more than the last and I think it’s because we didn’t switch POVs. It’s our FMC Kendall’s POV the whole book and she’s a bad a. She knows how to fight, shoot and stand up for herself. She’s not afraid of much and hold her emotions when she needs to and lets them out and communicates. She ends up mafia queen and kills it…literally haha. Wyatt is typical overbearing mafia dude. I didn’t like him as much as Luca from book one though. We do get more mafia in this one which was appreciated.
There were a few things that irritated me and almost lost another star. Our strong female “giggles” all the freaking time and it was so freaking annoying. There are a lot of other words that could be used! Her best friend Harper was there but also not. Really needed more of her. Also the epilogue was vague and didn’t really answer what happened with the four mafia families. I also find it strange she had kids so quickly. Doesn’t really fit the character she was.

I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

Oh boy what a good read you can’t put down!!! Let’s talk about Wyatt! Swoon! Alpha-hole turned into a possessive protective sweetheart! Kendall is a fierce woman in all ways possible! She surprises you at every turn how freaking amazing she is. The story building is awesome. Found love when you didn’t even know you found it! Wish the best friend was a little more developed more back story more involvement was kinda sporadic but other than that I loved it. -Kerin

I absolutely devoured this book. Kendall and Wyatt are so sweet and the way their relationship develops is a romance story. The twists and turns in this book certainly made for an exciting adventure especially toward the end….i did NOT see that coming. I enjoyed the character development throughout the book and watching how everything falls into place and everyone takes their rightful place. I would highly recommend this book!!!

Book 2 in the Las Vegas Mafia series by Amber Allee is Kendall & Wyatt's story. And let me tell you, if you love your mafia stories with twists, then this is the book for you. I am a sucker for any tropes or books with twists so I enjoyed reading this one. Plus I absolutely LOVED Kendall and Wyatt! 😍 They are my favorite couple in the series so far! I'll be looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Holy Moly! This book was intense and kept me longing for more! I was entranced with Kendall and Wyatt from the start. Their connection was unreal. The twist that came at the end literally blew my mind and rendered me speechless! I can not wait to see what the other mafia families have in store for us!!!

Even better than The Prince!
I LOVED the prince but this one tops it. I love how Kindle is a strong female lead character! She isn’t going to let someone pull a quick one on her. Her love interest Wyatt hasn’t seen someone like her for sure. I promise!

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. It’s 75% plot (which includes so many twists I didn’t expect!!) and 25% spice. I laughed, cried, and swooned with Kendall so many times, and that doesn’t usually happen with books. This book is sheer perfection.

This is book two in this series, and we get the story of Wyatt and Kendal. Wow Kendal is amazing and assertive. In this book you get a little bit of everything, action, plot twists, suspense, witty banter and so much more. This mafia series came to stay it checks all the boxes for a great book.

3.5⭐️ - I really enjoyed the first book in the series, so when I saw this one releasing I knew I had to give it a shot as well. It definitely kept me entertained and had quite a few little twists and turns to keep me on my toes. :)

This is a great mafia series. Hidden Queen did not disappoint. Kendall uncovers a lie that changes the path she is on. Kendall rocked her new role who would have thought she would come in hot. She is one bad chick and proved to those men around her that she isn’t playing. Girl crush activated. Wyatt had no clue what he was getting when he met Kendall. He is your typical alpha obey me but he definitely picked the wrong one. I loved the banter and tension these two had. The story moved along nicely, lots of turns and moments that left me with an open mouth. Great continuation to book 1.

Book 2 of amber Allee’s Las Vegas mafia series, however can totally be read as a stand alone!
Absolutely loved the story beginning to end! Action and spice but the mafia storyline is super heavy and the spicy is in moderate amount and does not take away from the storyline!
I thought I knew how this was gonna end but was totally surprised by the ending! Kendall grows into the queen she absolutely is and Wyatt(really the whole Dawson family) gives off touch her and die vibes!
This was my first book of ambers and I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed it!

Kendall Drake won a major piece of my heart. Allee is able to empower Kendall more by having her be the only POV of the story. Lately, I have been getting into Dual POV books, but I think Hidden Queen: Las Vegas Mafia Series made an impact because you see how much all this effects her as she tries to navigate adult life.
The friendship between Harper and Kendall is truly one for the record books. They met freshman year of college and have been through some very hard times. When they decide to go to Vegas for Kendall to have an internship opportunity of a lifetime, it seems they can use each other as a safety blanket (which is understandable). I also think they can push each other to have a better future, such as Kendall losing a bet leading to them both being set up on blind dates.
Wyatt Dawson seems like an intimidating character, but Kendall’s determination to stand up for herself exhilarating time for the reader. I haves a smile on my face every time Kendall is able to show how fierce she truly is. Every idea she had for her life is changed when she is catapulted into a world even harder to navigate than what she thought adult life would be. This book is fire and I highly recommend.
