She loved him for a night. Will he love her for all time?
With the bloody war with the Steel Wolves finally over, Deacon dives right into the celebration—maybe a little too deep, hounded by past mistakes and lingering grief. He wakes up on the floor, naked, alone, and no memory. A woman’s torn bra the only clue he must have had a good time.
Sydney knew Deacon was not himself that night, but she welcomed his rough seduction, his hot skin under her cool hands, and surrendered to the fierce rhythm of raw desire. Until his agonized whispers revealed he and Elaine—his late wife, her best friend—were Daddy/little. But later, when he acts like the body and soul she gave meant nothing, she retreats to her private “Little” sanctuary, convinced Deacon will never be hers.
Trouble is, trying to move on is a painful reminder her heart will always belong to him.
As the MCs work to track down a scamming rogue prospect, Deacon grapples with his reaction to the Sentinels’ Enforcer showing interest in Sydney. By the time he figures out she is the little he needs, Sydney’s heart—and her safety—could be well beyond his reach.
Note: Contains a little male rivalry, a lot of groveling, and a little spanking.
Bestselling and multiple award-winning author Victoria Saccenti writes what she loves to read: contemporary steamy/dark romance, PNR and Fantasy romance, MC Daddies and 20th century military. She can’t resist exploring the twists and turns of human interaction and the ways of love. Her characters are flawed, angsty, and seeking redemption. The good news is she’s an avowed optimist, so expect to read happy endings. A native of Cuba, she speaks English and Spanish fluently, loves to dance salsa and drink single malt whisky. After thirty years of traveling the world for an international company, she’s settled in Central Florida, where she splits her busy schedule between family and her active muse at Essence Publishing. However, if she could convince her husband to sell their home, she would pack up her computer and move to Scotland, a land she adores.
The opening scene. He's too wasted to consent, but she takes advantage anyway. He's so wasted he doesn't remember any of it the next day. And she can't seem to figure that out. Doh.
So now she's on her high horse. He finally figures out she's what he wants and now it's all freaking head games between the two. I HATE head games.

Deacon is a fun romp. Deacon and Sydney are perfect for each other but he has a lot of groveling to do to earn the love Sydney has harbored for him for far to long. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment.
DNF. Sydney decided she wanted Deacon and when he was wasted she took advantage. If a man did that he would be called a r@pist Then gets pissed when he doesn’t remember
