This book blends psychology, spirituality, and practical tools in a way that feels fresh and grounded the same time, which is quite unique. Christensen’s warm, authentic voice makes complex ideas like shadow work and archetypes easy to grasp. I loved the step-by-step guidance, especially the journal prompts, that helped me uncover subconscious blocks I didn’t even know I had--might sound dense but it's not, it's real easy to grasp. It’s not just another manifestation book, it’s a great roadmap to inner transformation without the hustle. Whether you’re stuck or just craving more clarity, this book delivers. Highly recommend for anyone ready to align their energy and rewrite their story.

Rachel Christensen is an “energetic healer,” certified by the Australian Holistic Healers and Counselors Association. She is also the creator of the “Sacred Feminine Manifestation Method,” which she describes in her self-help book, “The Inside Players: Master The Manifestation Game.”

Christensen’s book invites “dreamers whose dreams always seem out of reach, workers exhausted by the endless hustle, and individuals who wonder if there’s a better way to create the lives they want” to allow the book’s “proven framework to help them unlock their full potential and transform their lives.” According to the author, her book will help you “…align your energy, transform your mindset, and step into the life you were destined for…”

The author’s model is based on an understanding of yin (Sacred Feminine) and yang (Sacred Masculine), and methods to balance the two to create harmony between the inner self and outside world. Written in convincing language, the book presents an alternate way to understand and cope with the frailties of the human condition as it is tested by the uncertainties of life.

There are many readers who benefit from self-help books, and Christensen’s work may prove beneficial to readers who possess the self-awareness, open-mindedness, confidence, motivation, and energy required to understand and follow her arguments and recommendations. Unfortunately, her book does not come with a “One Size Fits All” tag, and other readers are sure to challenge several of her claims and/or conclusions.

Still, Rachel Christensen deserves credit for her research and ability to create a coherent thesis.

I conclude with the words by which another author has learned to cope:

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.”

Manifesting the life of your dreams!

As someone who, in the mid-nineties thanks to Bob Proctor’s “Born Rich” course, changed her life from a mundane paper-filing job as a medical record’s public servant to a self-employed photographer, copywriter for radio and web designer when I had barely passed high school, I know all about the miracle of manifesting the life of one’s dreams. This was eleven years before “The Secret.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and its exploration of the various archetypes that we might assume to attract the life we truly want. I recognised many that I had adopted over the years as I made my dreams happen, but I also recognised the pitfalls that had sometimes held me back.

The author doesn’t hold back with sharing personal life experiences, which makes the book more relatable.

I liked Bruce Lee’s analogy of being like water—soft and yielding yet still wearing away the rigid, flowing through life, trusting that the universe will guide us to where we want to be. Assuming one isn’t a control freak like me. Water. LOL I drink that stuff with coffee. Still, it made me think. I might turn that into a poster to put on my wall as a reminder to be a bit more fluid rather than micromanaging everything.

I also enjoyed reading about Burt Goldman’s Quantum Jumping technique. He was 80 when he took on this concept, so, being in my early 60s, I feel that there is hope this old dog can learn some new tricks!

This book is a great intro to personal development and manifestation. For anyone looking to change their life for the better, this is a must-read.

📚 Manifestation with meaning : A journey inward.

“The Inside Players” is a profound guide to mastering manifestation through deep inner work and spiritual alignment. Drawing on archetypal energies from both the Sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine, Christensen leads readers on a transformative journey from control to surrender. Each chapter illuminates different aspects of the self—from the Maiden’s imaginative dreaming to the Huntress’s fearless truth-seeking—offering a holistic framework for turning desires into reality.

What sets this book apart is its soulful integration of personal stories, psychological insights, and spiritual wisdom. Rather than promoting surface-level techniques, it dives into the emotional and energetic blocks that often prevent manifestation. The author’s candid vulnerability, especially in sharing her struggles with trauma, burnout, and identity, adds a deeply human dimension to the teachings.

The balance between practical journal prompts, grounded neuroscience, and metaphysical principles like the Law of Resonance makes this book both accessible and expansive. It's not just a guide to manifesting external outcomes—it's an invitation to align your inner world with your highest truth.

Whether you're new to manifestation or seeking to deepen your spiritual practice, this book offers a gentle yet powerful roadmap to co-creating a life rooted in presence, purpose, and possibility.

An amazing gift you’ll give to your future self.

This is the kind of book that finds you at exactly the right moment, when you need it most. So if you’ve landed on this page, ask yourself: what brought you here? What part of your life needs to be revised?

The idea of manifestation isn’t new to me, so when I started reading this book, I was skeptical about what it could possibly teach me that I hadn’t already heard—but I was surprised, big time.

Unlike many other books on this subject, this one doesn’t just give you dry formulas—it walks you through the work you need to do with yourself to truly internalize these truths. There are many different levels of knowing, so even when I read something I thought I already knew, this book helped me understand it on a much deeper level.

The yin and yang the author talks about are so greatly balanced here, and the well-written text offers a perfect container for the deep and soulful truths that, at times, feel like hidden gems waiting to be found.

I’m so grateful for running into this book. I feel like I’m not the same person after reading it. I’ve been practicing manifestation before, and this book was exactly what I needed to take my practice to the next level.

Highly recommended—by purchasing it, you’ll give your future self an amazing gift.

A Refreshing and Powerful Guide to True Alignment

The Inside Players is not just another manifestation book. It is a game changer. Rachel Christensen offers something that feels both grounded and soul-stirring. From the very first chapter, I felt like she was speaking directly to parts of me I had ignored or pushed aside in my constant hustle to make things happen.

What I loved most is how this book connects the spiritual with the practical. Rachel blends ancient wisdom, emotional healing, and neuroscience in a way that is easy to understand and incredibly useful. The section on shadow work especially hit home. It helped me see how much I had been resisting parts of myself that actually hold the key to my clarity and strength.

This book is not about chasing goals until you are exhausted. It is about alignment, inner peace, and taking action from a place of trust and honesty. If you have ever felt stuck, disconnected from your purpose, or tired of strategies that leave you feeling drained, The Inside Players is exactly what you need.

I already see subtle but powerful shifts in how I move through life and I know I will come back to this book again and again. I highly recommend it to anyone who is ready to stop forcing and start flowing.

I’m totally new to manifestation and all things in that realm, but lately I’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and exhausted with life. I knew I needed a way to understand myself better and start making changes, but I didn’t want something overly complicated or full of vague advice.

The Inside Players by Rachel Christensen was exactly what I was looking for. It’s well-structured and clearly written, with each section building on the last so you never feel lost. Rachel has a way of explaining ideas that makes them easy to grasp, even if you’ve never read anything like this before. The exercises and reflections really made me stop, think, and see patterns in my life I hadn’t noticed before.

What I appreciated most was that it’s not just “feel-good” fluff—it’s practical, encouraging, and actually gives you steps to work through your own challenges. Even as a complete beginner, I felt like I could take action right away. This book has been a breath of fresh air and a reminder that change is possible, one intentional choice at a time.

Reading The Inside Players by Rachel Christensen was like having someone hand me a flashlight for the parts of myself I’d been avoiding. What I appreciated most is how she blends psychology, spirituality, and science in a way that feels grounded but still expansive. It’s not heavy or complicated, the ideas are clear, approachable, and surprisingly practical.

The journaling prompts and exercises look simple at first, but when I actually sat with them, they brought up insights I didn’t expect. It helped me see the patterns I’ve been repeating and gave me tools to start shifting them. Rachel’s willingness to share her own struggles, burnout, setbacks, messy moments, made the whole thing relatable and human, not just another self-help lecture.

I came away with a sense of lightness and motivation I hadn’t felt in a while. This is the kind of book you don’t just read once; it’s something you keep nearby for when you need to reset or remind yourself of what’s possible.

This book was recommended to me by a friend, and the habitual sceptic and pragmatist in me was a bit hesitant, at first. Within a couple of pages, Christensen had pulled me in with her theory-driven guide to 'spirituality', not as a strict concept but as a domain of the human experience, life's journey to connectedness, and the search for meaning.

This book doesn't just preach strategies for mindfulness and manifestation, it acknowledges negative thought processes that can hinder progress. Through genuine self-disclosure, Christensen ingratiates herself with the reader, and her advice comes from a place of knowledge and experience.

I think everyone can get something different out of this book, I got what I didn't even know I needed, and some small behavioural and cognitive tweaks to make my journey a little bit easier, and my self-critical mind a little bit kinder.
10/10 would recommend.

Wow, I love this book! I put it on the shelf next to some of the most important books I've read, like 'The Secret', and those by Abraham Hicks, Louise Hayes, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and Eckhart Tolle. There's an ease with which the author simplifies and makes accessible the process of manifestation and bringing desires, dreams, and goals to fruition. I think I knew this, but it was nice to have it pointed out that beyond the law of attraction is the more important law of resonance and aligning our vibrational state with our desires, dreams and goals. The author explains the obstacles that block us and includes journal ideas to prompt thought and generate thoughts, leading to an emotional/vibrational state that facilitates manifestation. This book should be owned, read, and reread over and over to create the life you want. I highly recommend!

Rachel Christensen’s The Inside Players delves into manifestation and inner alignment with depth, yet in a clear and accessible manner. The book is meticulously prepared and visually elegant, guiding the reader through to the end without becoming tiresome. The author’s personal experiences and her unique use of archetypes make the narrative both sincere and inspiring. By emphasizing the importance of facing inner resistance and finding balance, the book offers a valuable perspective that sets it apart from typical positive thinking literature. It is thought-provoking, practical, and serves as a guide to inner awareness. Although the richness of spiritual concepts and archetypes occasionally made it challenging for me to follow, I truly believe this content offers a real opportunity for individuals who are ready for inner confrontation and open to transformation.

The inside Players by Rachel Christensen is very well written, bringing in insights from a variety of sources and disciplines, though the main focus is the yin and yang, with archetypes rising out of that. She shares interesting & relevant stories from her background. The journal prompts at the end of the chapters were good. I also appreciated comments such as using habit in shaping neural pathways to make transformation more sustainable.

Despite the many excellent ideas and suggestions in this book, I struggled with the idea of basing growth and manifestation on ideas of male & female archetypes. This concept is ancient & venerated by many, but it came from a patriarchal world view that assigned roles according to gender. Readers who do not want to be limited by male-female stereotypes will need to translate and transcend these into gender-free paradigms.

The author starts this book by going into her personal history. This really sets the tone for understanding the principles the author will discuss. I really enjoyed the way the author used principles of quantum physics to help understand the theory she was putting out. I especially enjoyed the discussion of resonating particles. I found it very interesting that the author took a Jungian approach to manifestation theory, applying archetypes to manifestation. The author does a great job adding actionable steps into this framework. She does this through the use of journaling prompts. Overall, I found this book to be a useful and practical tool for utilizing manifestation for insight and self improvement. I recommend at least giving this book a try.

As a person with some spiritual and metaphysical education, I was drawn to this book to further my own knowledge and enlightenment. It delivered insights that added to my understanding of myself, others, and the universe.
By covering in great detail concepts such as the sacred feminine (yin) and sacred masculine (yang), chakras, laws of attraction and resonance, archetypes, and the many aspects of manifestation, the author delivers coherent and actionable information that can be understood and utilized by someone completely unfamiliar with such things.
I would recommend this book highly to anyone on a spiritual, or even other, self-help path, whether beginner, novice or experienced.

The Inside Players offers a fresh perspective on manifestation—focusing less on pushing for results and more on cultivating inner balance. Rachel Christensen weaves together psychology, spirituality, and personal experiences into practical, accessible steps. The journal prompts and archetype exercises help reveal hidden blocks without feeling overwhelming, while her link between emotional healing and neuroscience makes the concepts easy to grasp. Warm, grounded, and straightforward, this book is ideal if you’re ready to move away from hustle-heavy self-help toward a more genuine, sustainable path to change.

The Inside Players: Master the Manifestation game is a very special book. It’s illuminating and insightful, but also really practical - the lessons are easy to apply, and the author guides you through the reflective process with helpful journal prompts.

The writing was honest and engaging - the lessons were brought to life through the author’s use of personal storytelling, weaving in vivid stories from her own life to illustrate her points.

I felt the book helped me look at the world through new eyes. I felt a greater sense of clarity after reading - more aligned, and more connected to my own personal power.

Helpful and Encouraging

I didn’t know I needed this book but wow! There was so much in here that I’m going to read it again. I found myself identifying with several archetypes and appreciated the stories the author shared.

The whole thing was well-written and written informative. I cried in a few places realizing that for decades I’ve felt a certain way that I can and should let go of-for my own health and wellbeing.

I could go on for pages, but read this book. Take things to heart and apply them. You’ll be glad you did.

fascinating read

I have always even curious about so called archetype players such as the queen and the healer so that’s primarily what drew my attention. The author does a great job describing each so the lay person could understand. The reason however I would recommend the kindle unlimited book would be the quotes from scholars, philosophers and even The Lion King as well as the journal questions that make you think such as “In what ways do I trust or ignore my instincts, and how can I deepen that trust?”

interesting

This book was not my typical read, but I picked it up for research purposes—and I have to say, it was interesting nonetheless. The Inside Players is a well-thought-out and descriptive guide to manifestation, personal growth, and inner transformation. While the themes and approach aren’t usually in my wheelhouse, I can see how this could be incredibly helpful for people who are exploring mindset work or looking for a structured way to shift their inner narrative. Rachel Christensen clearly put a lot of intention and depth into this book, and it shows.

Stumble on this book for a late night read. Not my cup of tea, but it truly gives me an introduction into basing growth and manifestation on ideas of male & female archetypes.
My favorite quotes are: “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
“You alone are the judge of your worth and your goal is to discover infinite worth in yourself, no matter what anyone else thinks.”
“We must learn to observe the ego with humility, recognising that our true essence lies beyond ego-based narratives.”

An empowering and transformative guide that teaches you how to cope, overcome, and break free from societal norms. You don't have to have it all figured out, but it's important to regulate your nervous system, take action even if through small, meaningful steps, and understand that you need to recharge without guilt. It's motivational and helps you be ok with the process, which in turn helps you and grows your thinking.

So much Information stuffed into this book, but not in an overwhelming fashion. The author clearly lays out her information and makes it simple to understand and to put into practice. This was new information to me, but the author made it understandable and desirable. I liked the journal prompts which helped me deepen my understanding in master the material.
