Without the memory of Lucy, Adan tries to sort the pieces of the puzzle. Fortunately, with the help of his wolf and a couple of unexpected allies, they find a solution and manage to take her out of hell. However, their battles continue.
In this second part of Adan and Lucy's story, we see what true love can achieve. A love that has no boundaries (the guy goes to the underworld to save his mate) and no forms. As a 'witch' told me love is a universal thing and I think this book proves it perfectly.
Things I loved in this book:
-Baddass female power. Especially, Lucy against Ethan's Beta, I liked how she handled him.
-The alliance and how they saved Lucy. The whole concept was perfect.
-Lucius's and Patreas start... I won't say more...
-Steamy moments.
-It had fewer funny moments than in book 1 but still, I laughed at some points.
-Adan devotion to his mate even without his memory.
All in all, there is nothing to hate in this book. I loved and enjoyed it from the first to the last sentence. Before you read it make sure you read Book 1 (Beneath Her Darkness) because the story builds there and if you go straight to this one you won't understand a lot of stuff.
Now do we have a date for Lucius? Because honestly I really want to re-read that part :

The book starts with Adan having no recollection of her, and that's where the adventure begins. He had no idea who she was, but he knew he wanted her from the glimpses of her that his wolf Beast had shown him. It only showed the pull of love they had. While Adan struggled to remember her, Lucy was doing her best to be stronger so she could escape the underworld.

My favorite part in the book was Lucy in her succubus form and how Adan reacted to her. This book also fully introduced Lucius, Lucy's demon brother, which piqued my interest. Read this book to discover if he's a hero or a villain.

All in all, Cassandra wrapped up Adan and Lucy's story beautifully in this book. They surely showed how much their love had made them a powerful couple in the human and demon realms. Read books 1 and 2 and you'll surely enjoy these books. You'll laugh, cry, and be hell mad at the villains, and of course, you will fall in love with Adan and Lucy.

Book one ends on a big cliffhanger and book two picks up right at the end of book one continuing Adan/Lucy's story! And what an adventure it is! You get even more details of the underworld, magic and gods/goddesses.

Cassandra M does an excellent job of building these interesting realms and characters...especially secondary characters! I fell in love with a certain demon and enjoyed every moment with him in it! AND he has his own book!

Besides great secondary characters, Adan and Lucy's story is continued and you get their delicious banter/interactions, tension and spice!

I had so much faith in this book, and Cass delivered me to hell and back- OH MY DEMON GOD!

This story comes straight back from that emotionally draining cliff hanger in Beneath Her Darkness and we are back in the pit of hell with Lucy, except everyone around him does. Lucy was so cunning and an absolute mastermind to save Adan and Patrea. It becomes a battle for the throne of hell, resulting in ultimate demon forms, selling of souls, lots of demon and witch magic, spice in a cove, on a stone and as a succubus, even a demon tail thrown in the mix.

I was filled with so many emotions throughout this whole book, it was a roller-coaster. The wolf and shifter combination with Fated mates makes for an interesting steamy and thrilling read. It is full of battles, tension, revenge and a HEA (for Adan and Lucy).

Lucy is still an absolute firecracker of a FMC! She becomes even more of a badass in this second book, she becomes more confident in herself, she's spunky, cunning and I absolutely love her so much!

Adan is a swearing madman, Savage, ruthless, his ego is running higher than it already was- and develops into such an Alpha Retriever (mainly for Lucy). I wouldn't change a thing about him!

Beast and Angel are a match made on the moon! She's a sassy queen and he is not so feral any longer, but just as arrogant and Alpha male as Adan.

OHMIGOSH. Talk about emotional damage. I totally expected more Lucy & Adan chaos and drama. What I was NOT prepared for was how emotional this book would get. There were multiple times I had to put my Kindle down and just stare at a wall for a minute. I mean, no spoilers but IYKYK.

Lucien absolutely destroyed me. If you’ve read this, u KNOW the scene I’m talking about. I was already attached to these characters, but that moment hit me like a freight train. Then Cassandra somehow followed it up w/ family reunions, sacrifices, loyalty, forgiveness, and enough emotional punches to keep me in my feelings for the rest of the book.

And can we talk about Blade for a sec??? Bc tell me why the scene where he handed over his entire life’s savings hit harder than some romance scenes I’ve read lately. The man literally walked in, dropped YEARS worth of earnings on a desk. EXCUSE ME. Who gave u permission to do that to me???

One thing I rlly loved about this book was how invested I became in the side characters. I started this to read about Lucy and Adan and find out if my hunch was right about a certain 3rd pairing; by the end, I wasn’t just reading for Lucy & Adan anymore. I cared about EVERYONE. The sibling relationships, the friendships, the loyalty between pack members, the found family, the redemption arc… all of it had me hooked. There were honestly moments where I was more emotional over the family dynamics than the romance.

Not that the romance was lacking. Cuz absolutely not, this is just as romantic and STEAMY as the first. Lucy & Adan still have amazing chem. And I love that Lucy never loses her personality. She’s sarcastic, stubborn, outspoken, and refuses to roll over for anyone. She stays Lucy the entire time, which made me love her even more.

And Beast??? Still stealing scenes. Still a menace. Still obsessed.

The humor in this book also caught me off guard so many times. I’d be crying one chapter and laughing the next. “Your breath stinks. Who did u eat? Alpha Ethan?” I don’t care how much serious stuff was happening. That line took me OUT.

Then we got the pups conversation and omg “Are we pregnant? Are we having a pup?” Adan was so excited I couldn’t stop smiling. The fact that his immediate reaction was basically PLEASE TELL ME WE’RE HAVING BABIES was weirdly adorable.

And can we talk about Lucius for a minute? Bc this man somehow manages to be intimidating, hilarious, chaotic, protective, and lovable all at the same time. The scene where he’s sitting pretending to drink from a toy tea cup??? I was cackling.

I feel like I’m all over the place with this review, but just know. I loved all these characters and I can’t wait to read the rest in the series.

If u loved book 1, u NEED book 2. The steam is still there. The alpha energy is still there. The tension is still there. But imo the emotional depth, family bonds, character growth, and found family moments elevated this one even more.

Beneath Her Darkness left us in suspense with a cliff-hanger and Beautiful Darkness continues straight after.

Adan and Lucy's love story continues to be complicated where Adan is left with no memory of Lucy while everyone else around him remembers her and what she was/is to him. He knows deep down he truly wants and belongs to her as his wolf is able to show him snippets of Lucy to him in order for Adan to regain his lost memories. He has a lot of obstacles to go overcome, so he is able to reunite with his lost love.

Lucy on the other hand has her own struggles as she is not only parted from her mate, but she is also stuck in the underworld. Although in true Lucy style she is secretly plotting her escape.
In this part of the book, you see the effort Lucy will go to, towards protecting her mate. You will also see her character growth. It's amazing to see the changes to her character and to see her embrace who she truly is.

This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride whether you laugh, cry or shout out at the villains.

There is a great combination of secondary characters that bring more to the story and the world Cassandra M has created that will leave you wanting to know more.

Another amazing book from Cassandra M. I highly recommend diving into the darkness.

The book picks up right where the first one left off, with Adan suffering from memory loss back at the Mystic Pack while Lucy is trapped in the Underworld, desperately searching for a way home.

Convinced that Lucy is his heir, Lucien begins preparing her to take over his role. Unfortunately for him, Lucy is far too clever to simply fall in line. With allies on her side in both the human world and the Underworld, she refuses to accept the future he's planned for her. Together, Adan and Lucy must not only find their way back to each other but also overcome Lucien and the many obstacles standing in their path.

This book was packed with adventure, action, and plot twists that completely caught me off guard. One of my favorite aspects, though, was how seamlessly it continued building the larger series by setting up future couples and storylines. There may have even been a subtle hint toward a pairing that won't happen until much later in the series, and I'm already intrigued.

For me, the standout character was Lucius. He wasn't the demon I expected him to be, and I found myself looking forward to every scene he appeared in. I loved that Lucy had a family member firmly in her corner, and the dynamic between Lucius, Adan, and the rest of the Robinson family was one of the highlights of the book.

Overall, this was an exciting and engaging continuation of Adan and Lucy's journey, and it left me even more eager for what's next. I'm especially excited for the next book, which will focus on Lucius and Patrea.

This amazing book is the second part of Adan and Lucy's story. I recommend reading the first book, Beneath Her Darkness, first.
The first part ended with an unexpected ending! Yessss a cliff!!!! Oh no, Lucy made a huge sacrifice that broke my heart, but all of this is worth it! Adan is really connected with Lucy despite what happened at the end of the first book... ;) and despite everything!!! In this book, the wonderful new side characters are also an important part of the story. You will definitely love them! (I can wait for you to know more about Lucius and Patrea...) In my point of view, I think Adan & Lucius form (despite the jokes between them..i mean sarcasm :) a strong bond that will make it possible for all of them to achieve the bigger goal. Lucy and Adan never give up and they have to be together!!! I love how Cass introduces us to more characters from Underworld! The whole book is amazing, how Cass sets up the Cleansing part and the conversations Adam has with a God wink wink!!! It all makes sense now!!! It’s amazing!!! and you can see and feel what’s going on in Lucy and Adan's heads. It’s like you’re inside the story!!! Will they trust each other? Learning to trust each other and get support is hard sometimes when you’re in the Underworld :) . Plus, they’ll just have to keep trusting each other! There’s certainly no shortage of steamy moments in this story! It’s just that, despite all the challenges they have to face to be together… they can’t help it and they’re explosive together… hot and hotter than the Underworld!!! You have to read this book!!!

If you haven't read Beneath Her Darkness, I suggest reading the first book so you won't get confused in this story.

I started this book with a heavy heart because of the ending of Book 1 but hopeful that it would lead to something wonderful and Cassandra M didn't disappoint. She took us to the underworld and introduced us to a different species from her usual lore and oh boy, I had immediately fallen in love! Adan and Lucy were the focal point of the story, but the side characters are just as interesting (and sexy) as they were! The climax had me rushing to read all of it and I enjoyed every part! A big bonus was the steam, it is steamier than the first book and I love it!

This book turned a serious tone but despite that, Adan and Lucy were still witty especially if they were together. They are a great example of a perfect and lethal combination!

‘Put your hands on my shoulders. I will try not to flinch.’ If there was anyone who could touch me everywhere, it should be my mate. — This part here. A small part of the story but I was glad that this was not disregarded. Both Lucy and Adan worked hard to get over his trauma, showing their commitment to each other.

The book continues where the first one ended. The twist that ended the other story became an even bigger one.
We see through the struggles of Lucy, and the unimaginable things her father does to her. We clearly see, Lucien is evil to the core. But also, we can see that Lucy is strong and resilient. She has allies and they will help her, no matter what.
And the most unique fact in this world that no matter where Lucy is, or what others would do to Adan, we definitely feel, that Adan Stone Robinson is Team Lucy.
We can find another couple to cheer on and we can see how their dinamics change everything.
Nothing can stop Adan for reaching Lucy, and nothing can help them more than their love for each other.
Knowing that somewhere they are alive in this world gives them strength to defy the King of the Underworld.
We can see how a God helping someone and what the consequence of that choice.
I can go on and on with praising this book, and this beautiful world, but you need to read it to understand: there is no other like Adan Stone and there is noone who can make him feel like Lucy does.
The spice is high in this half of the story, and I can only say: oh la laaaa... Cass was very naughty in this one.
Thank you Cass for writing about them. To let us experience this bumpy ride and let us enjoy the aftermath of the creation their love made.

I absolutely loved this book!!! It is a continuation of book 1, so you must read the first book to continue with the series. I have read and re-read this book; it is one of my favorite stories.

Adan Stone is a wolf shifter alpha who falls in love with Lucy, a hybrid wolf shifter. Lucy happens to be the daughter of the demon king of Kalmerus. The demon king wants nothing more than to destroy Lucy's wolf and fulfill the prophecy. Adan will travel through the realms to get to Lucy; nothing will stop him. Adan is a "beast" of a man devoted to Lucy. Adan teams up with Lucius and must learn to trust him if he wants to get Lucy back. An epic battle for the throne of hell is mixed in with a spicey ritual of forbidden love.

This paranormal book is filled with steamy moments and overcoming trauma. Cassandra M does great at world-building and incorporating characters into the story. This thrilling adventure is enjoyable, with comical and tearful moments. I love Lucy's sassy and Lucius commentaries. They are entertaining.

In this book, we get Dual POVs and continue to meet new characters. Lucius and Patrea's love story begins and is followed by the next book, with Alpha Blade and Althea tied into the story.

Cassandra M leaves us wanting more! If you love touch-her-and-die tropes, this book is for you!!

One of my favorite aspects of the book was Lucy and Aden's relationship. ❤️ Despite all the chaos surrounding them, their love for each other never wavered. Their bond provided a powerful emotional anchor and was the one constant I could always count on.

And that ending? Absolutely perfect! 🤌 It delivered everything I hoped for and more. I honestly have no complaints. I finished the book completely satisfied... well, mostly satisfied. I do want more of the side characters' stories, lol. 😅

Because the side characters were just as compelling as Lucy and Aden. I'm fully invested in Lucious's story and incredibly intrigued by Althea and Blade. 👀 I can't wait to see what happens to all of them.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fast-paced fantasy filled with suspense, romance, and unexpected twists. It was an outstanding sequel and a brilliant read from beginning to end. 💕

This is book 2 of 3- Into the Darkness Series. Beautiful Darkness: The She Demons Alpha, I honestly didnt think anything could top book 1 but OMG Cassandra did exactly that. Beneath Her Darkness left us in suspense with a cliff-hanger & Beautiful Darkness continues straight after. In this part of the book, you see the effort Lucy will go to, towards protecting her mate. You will see her character grow & embrace who she truly is.
It is ultimately a story about love, courage, destiny, and the belief that true soulmates will find a way back to each other, even after facing their own version of hell. They fight through pain, heartbreak, and impossible odds, proving that real love is about standing by the person you cherish even when the world seems determined to keep you apart. It has passion, spice, drama, heartache & everything else in between.
There is a great combination of other unforgettable supernatural characters that bring more to the story & it would be great to see stories dedicated to them. The world Cassandra has created will leave you wanting to know more. They are all extremely well written & draw you into the world she has created. She is known for her amazing novels about werewolf shifters, she can now add demons & super naturals to her list. You smashed it Cass & i cant wait to read other books about this realm.

Here, I witnessed how Lucy and Adan's love was put to the test through some sacrifices and how their mutual trust survives in the face of challenges.

Their chemistry, bond, and attraction are becoming stronger and more intense. It's incredible how they overcome each obstacle on their own until they cross paths again.

Adan's perseverance, loyalty, and protectiveness allowed him to carry on with his plan to bring back Lucy to the human realm.
Additionally, Lucy is a confident, sassy, and strong girl who seeks to gain more knowledge and control over her demon's abilities.

The story was more interesting and intriguing considering that I found more of POV of the side characters. Because of the intriguing actions, turns, and twists, made me want to read and see more about it. It's amazing how everything is described and how the characters are developing.

I loved reading more about the supporting characters, which gave me the feeling that they will appear next in this brilliant story, which I am eager to read and continue. They did everything in their power to help Lucy and Adan to reunite which made them worthy to be part of Lucy and Adan's life.

Beautiful Darkness: The She-Demon’s Alpha was well worth the wait to the sequel, Beneath Her Darkness, which I highly suggest reading or you will not understand what is going on.

It follows the love story of Adan and Lucy, Wolf and She-Demon. The story picks up from a cliffhanger from the first book where Adan’s memory of Lucy is erased. Everyone around Adan knows of Lucy but he has no recollection of her. His wolf remembers but not him, so his wolf helps him to start the process of remembering their mate, until a witch is able to reverse the spell.

After the spell is broken, his memory of Lucy resurfaces and his resolve to get her back from the Underworld at all cost is restored. Adan will stop at nothing to get her back even if it means trusting those he knows deep down he shouldn’t but sometimes you have to get in bed with the devil to reach your goals. Not to mention, Lucy is mastering her gifts so that she can also defeat her father so that she can return to the love of her life, Adan.

Cassandra M has done it again with another captivating novel. I know this book is a little different from what you may be used to reading but trust me it is definitely worth the read!

This is Book2 of Into the Darness series. Book1 ends in a cliffy and this one picks up right after.

We continue following Adan and Lucy as they navigate a whirlwind of love, danger, destiny, and impossible choices. What I loved most about this sequel is how the world-building expands far beyond what we saw in book one. The story takes us deeper into the Underworld, revealing more about demons, prophecy, gods and goddesses, royal politics, and the complex power dynamics shaping this universe.

The plot is packed with twists that kept me constantly guessing. Every time I thought I understood where the story was heading, a new revelation changed everything. Despite the increasing complexity of the world, the emotional core of the story remains Adan and Lucy.

I also appreciated the presence and development of the supporting characters, whose roles add depth and richness to the story.

The book successfully combines romance, action, mythology, politics, prophecy, and suspense into a compelling package. It is an emotional roller coaster that kept me engaged and the ending left me eager to see what comes next.

Beautiful Darkness is part two of Adan and Lucy's story.

Adan has to go through a lot in this part to be able to reunite with Lucy. There is so much pain we feel from him. He has no memory of Lucy, but everyone else does. This causes him a lot of internal pain. I just wanted to push myself into this book so I could give him a big hug. He goes through some mental anguish in order to be able to correct what happened to him in the first book. We really see him fighting for his mate and the love of his life.

Lucy goes through a lot of growth through this part. She is no longer going to hide who she truly is. She embraces her demon side and fully transforms into the demoness she was always supposed to be. Everything she does in this book is in the pursuit of protecting Adan and I really appreciated everything she does.

This couple is one of my favourites from this universe and I was so happy to be able to see their whole relationship develop from start to finish. There is so much I love about these two together.

So book one left you with a Cliffhanger, but book 2 starts where we left Lucy and Adan.
I devoured this book. I had to know what was going to happen next, no way I was going to find out what happen next and how Lucy and Adan would find their way back to each other. Lucien thought he won and Lucy was going to be his heir and fall in line? Please Lucy is not the fall in line type of girl especially knowing she has her mate to get back to.
I love that Adan and Beast connected again. The bond with Angel and Lucy grew.

This book is packed with romance, action, family ties/bonds, super natural characters and lots of character growth. Oh, did I mention I can not wait to read Lucius story? I knew since book 1 I was going to love him and want more of him.
Cassandra M so knows how to write the perfect story world to suck you in and never want to leave. All the characters are wonderfully written main characters and side characters they all have a purpose and play important roles.
I can not wait for the next book :)

Where do I even begin with my review of Beautiful Darkness? I could go on and on singing its praises, and nothing but praises because I couldn’t find ANYTHING that I disliked!!
It was most definitely a (love) story of “EPIC” proportions!! I love all of Cassandra M’s books, but this book and Beneath Her Darkness are hands down my favourites!! Adan’s and Lucy’s story was “SO EPIC” that it took two books to tell it!!
Extremely well written and so descriptive, and so full of life and love, ups and downs, humour and sadness, suspense AND SO MUCH MORE!!! I cannot say enough about it!! I ABSOLUTELY and COMPLETELY loved it!! You most definitely won’t be disappointed when you read these two books!! Worth a lot more than a 5 star rating, and worth buying the paperbacks to have in your collection and to read again and again!!!
