Without the memory of Lucy, Adan tries to sort the pieces of the puzzle. Fortunately, with the help of his wolf and a couple of unexpected allies, they find a solution and manage to take her out of hell. However, their battles continue.
In this second part of Adan and Lucy's story, we see what true love can achieve. A love that has no boundaries (the guy goes to the underworld to save his mate) and no forms. As a 'witch' told me love is a universal thing and I think this book proves it perfectly.
Things I loved in this book:
-Baddass female power. Especially, Lucy against Ethan's Beta, I liked how she handled him.
-The alliance and how they saved Lucy. The whole concept was perfect.
-Lucius's and Patreas start... I won't say more...
-Steamy moments.
-It had fewer funny moments than in book 1 but still, I laughed at some points.
-Adan devotion to his mate even without his memory.
All in all, there is nothing to hate in this book. I loved and enjoyed it from the first to the last sentence. Before you read it make sure you read Book 1 (Beneath Her Darkness) because the story builds there and if you go straight to this one you won't understand a lot of stuff.
Now do we have a date for Lucius? Because honestly I really want to re-read that part :

BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS
The book starts with Adan having no recollection of her, and that's where the adventure begins. He had no idea who she was, but he knew he wanted her from the glimpses of her that his wolf Beast had shown him. It only showed the pull of love they had. While Adan struggled to remember her, Lucy was doing her best to be stronger so she could escape the underworld.
My favorite part in the book was Lucy in her succubus form and how Adan reacted to her. This book also fully introduced Lucius, Lucy's demon brother, which piqued my interest. Read this book to discover if he's a hero or a villain.
All in all, Cassandra wrapped up Adan and Lucy's story beautifully in this book. They surely showed how much their love had made them a powerful couple in the human and demon realms. Read books 1 and 2 and you'll surely enjoy these books. You'll laugh, cry, and be hell mad at the villains, and of course, you will fall in love with Adan and Lucy.

Book one ends on a big cliffhanger and book two picks up right at the end of book one continuing Adan/Lucy's story! And what an adventure it is! You get even more details of the underworld, magic and gods/goddesses.
Cassandra M does an excellent job of building these interesting realms and characters...especially secondary characters! I fell in love with a certain demon and enjoyed every moment with him in it! AND he has his own book!
Besides great secondary characters, Adan and Lucy's story is continued and you get their delicious banter/interactions, tension and spice!
This was a fun and exciting read!

I had so much faith in this book, and Cass delivered me to hell and back- OH MY DEMON GOD!
This story comes straight back from that emotionally draining cliff hanger in Beneath Her Darkness and we are back in the pit of hell with Lucy, except everyone around him does. Lucy was so cunning and an absolute mastermind to save Adan and Patrea. It becomes a battle for the throne of hell, resulting in ultimate demon forms, selling of souls, lots of demon and witch magic, spice in a cove, on a stone and as a succubus, even a demon tail thrown in the mix.
I was filled with so many emotions throughout this whole book, it was a roller-coaster. The wolf and shifter combination with Fated mates makes for an interesting steamy and thrilling read. It is full of battles, tension, revenge and a HEA (for Adan and Lucy).
Lucy is still an absolute firecracker of a FMC! She becomes even more of a badass in this second book, she becomes more confident in herself, she's spunky, cunning and I absolutely love her so much!
Adan is a swearing madman, Savage, ruthless, his ego is running higher than it already was- and develops into such an Alpha Retriever (mainly for Lucy). I wouldn't change a thing about him!
Beast and Angel are a match made on the moon! She's a sassy queen and he is not so feral any longer, but just as arrogant and Alpha male as Adan.

Adan is sent back to the human realm after marking and leaving Lucy in the underworld. Only problem is that he has no memory of what happened in the underworld or of Lucy. The question is does he get his memory of Lucy back go back to the underworld to help save her from her evil father.

Adan is back in his pack with no memory of Lucy after she sends him away to protect him. Lucy wants to try and find a way to get out of the underworld and live the life she wanted but she's afraid of losing Adan.
Adan on the other hand is furious that he found his mate and doesn't remember her. He wants to forget and move on because the memories of his wolf and his family's efforts to remind him of Lucy are the only things that connect him to her.
Even then he knows he wants and he's willing to go to the depths of hell once again to find her. Help from an unexpected duo might just be the solution to all his problems. That and selling his soul to God of the underworld.
As Lucy and Adan fight to find their way back, and when they finally do, they realize their journey and life together has just started. While there are other characters whose stories have also taken unexpected turns.

In this part of the book, you see the effort Lucy will go to, towards protecting her mate. You will also see her character growth. It's amazing to see the changes to her character and to see her embrace who she truly is.
This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride whether you laugh, cry or shout out at the villains.
There is a great combination of secondary characters that bring more to the story and the world Cassandra M has created that will leave you wanting to know more.

This is the second Book in INTO THE DARKNESS SAGA. I suggest you read a book 1 first for better understanding as this is the continuation of Adan & Lucy's Story.
The book starts with Adan having no memory of Lucy but Beast🐺 showing him glimpses of her and their time together made him believe and though his mind has forgotten her but his heart wanted & craved for her. After regaining his memory back with the support of people on their side. They made plans to get Lucy back from Underworld. Lucy was also strengthening her powers to find her way back to her Alpha.
Adan went to the underworld again to fight the demon king and sold his soul to the God of Hell to save Lucy and Lucy refused the throne of Kalmerus to be with him.
Their love & Bonds they have together - fated mate bond, demon bond and bond binding their life together are so incredible! ❤️ Adan & Lucy even at the time of facing life & death situations couldn't get enough of each other and never missed changes to show their love, affection & intimacy.. It was So Hot 🔥🔥🔥 and beautiful 😍❤️

This amazing book is the second part of Adan and Lucy's story. I recommend reading the first book, Beneath Her Darkness, first.
The first part ended with an unexpected ending! Yessss a cliff!!!! Oh no, Lucy made a huge sacrifice that broke my heart, but all of this is worth it! Adan is really connected with Lucy despite what happened at the end of the first book... ;) and despite everything!!! In this book, the wonderful new side characters are also an important part of the story. You will definitely love them! (I can wait for you to know more about Lucius and Patrea...) In my point of view, I think Adan & Lucius form (despite the jokes between them..i mean sarcasm :) a strong bond that will make it possible for all of them to achieve the bigger goal. Lucy and Adan never give up and they have to be together!!! I love how Cass introduces us to more characters from Underworld! The whole book is amazing, how Cass sets up the Cleansing part and the conversations Adam has with a God wink wink!!! It all makes sense now!!! It’s amazing!!! and you can see and feel what’s going on in Lucy and Adan's heads. It’s like you’re inside the story!!! Will they trust each other? Learning to trust each other and get support is hard sometimes when you’re in the Underworld :) . Plus, they’ll just have to keep trusting each other! There’s certainly no shortage of steamy moments in this story! The first part ended with an unexpected ending! Yessss a cliff!!!! Oh no, Lucy made a huge sacrifice that broke my heart, but all of this is worth it! Adan is really connected with Lucy despite what happened at the end of the first book... ;) and despite everything!!! In this book, the wonderful new side characters are also an important part of the story. You will definitely love them! (I can wait for you to know more about Lucius and Patrea...) In my point of view, I think Adan & Lucius form (despite the jokes between them..i mean sarcasm :) a strong bond that will make it possible for all of them to achieve the bigger goal. Lucy and Adan never give up and they have to be together!!! I love how Cass introduces us to more characters from Underworld! The whole book is amazing, how Cass sets up the Cleansing part and the conversations Adam has with a God wink wink!!! It all makes sense now!!! It’s amazing!!! and you can see and feel what’s going on in Lucy and Adan's heads. It’s like you’re inside the story!!! Will they trust each other? Learning to trust each other and get support is hard sometimes when you’re in the Underworld :) . Plus, they’ll just have to keep trusting each other! There’s certainly no shortage of steamy moments in this story! I started this book with a heavy heart because of the ending of Book 1 but hopeful that it would lead to something wonderful and Cassandra M didn't disappoint. She took us to the underworld and introduced us to a different species from her usual lore and oh boy, I had immediately fallen in love! Adan and Lucy were the focal point of the story, but the side characters are just as interesting (and sexy) as they were! The climax had me rushing to read all of it and I enjoyed every part! A big bonus was the steam, it is steamier than the first book and I love it!
This book turned a serious tone but despite that, Adan and Lucy were still witty especially if they were together. They are a great example of a perfect and lethal combination!

The book continues where the first one ended. The twist that ended the other story became an even bigger one.
We see through the struggles of Lucy, and the unimaginable things her father does to her. We clearly see, Lucien is evil to the core. But also, we can see that Lucy is strong and resilient. She has allies and they will help her, no matter what.
And the most unique fact in this world that no matter where Lucy is, or what others would do to Adan, we definitely feel, that Adan Stone Robinson is Team Lucy.
We can find another couple to cheer on and we can see how their dinamics change everything.
Nothing can stop Adan for reaching Lucy, and nothing can help them more than their love for each other.
Knowing that somewhere they are alive in this world gives them strength to defy the King of the Underworld.
We can see how a God helping someone and what the consequence of that choice.
I can go on and on with praising this book, and this beautiful world, but you need to read it to understand: there is no other like Adan Stone and there is noone who can make him feel like Lucy does.
The spice is high in this half of the story, and I can only say: oh la laaaa... Cass was very naughty in this one.

I absolutely loved this book!!! It is a continuation of book 1, so you must read the first book to continue with the series. I have read and re-read this book; it is one of my favorite stories.
Adan Stone is a wolf shifter alpha who falls in love with Lucy, a hybrid wolf shifter. Lucy happens to be the daughter of the demon king of Kalmerus. The demon king wants nothing more than to destroy Lucy's wolf and fulfill the prophecy. Adan will travel through the realms to get to Lucy; nothing will stop him. Adan is a "beast" of a man devoted to Lucy. Adan teams up with Lucius and must learn to trust him if he wants to get Lucy back. An epic battle for the throne of hell is mixed in with a spicey ritual of forbidden love.
This paranormal book is filled with steamy moments and overcoming trauma. Cassandra M does great at world-building and incorporating characters into the story. This thrilling adventure is enjoyable, with comical and tearful moments. I love Lucy's sassy and Lucius commentaries. They are entertaining.
In this book, we get Dual POVs and continue to meet new characters. Lucius and Patrea's love story begins and is followed by the next book, with Alpha Blade and Althea tied into the story.

Beautiful Darkness: The She-Demon’s Alpha was well worth the wait to the sequel, Beneath Her Darkness, which I highly suggest reading or you will not understand what is going on.
It follows the love story of Adan and Lucy, Wolf and She-Demon. The story picks up from a cliffhanger from the first book where Adan’s memory of Lucy is erased. Everyone around Adan knows of Lucy but he has no recollection of her. His wolf remembers but not him, so his wolf helps him to start the process of remembering their mate, until a witch is able to reverse the spell.
After the spell is broken, his memory of Lucy resurfaces and his resolve to get her back from the Underworld at all cost is restored. Adan will stop at nothing to get her back even if it means trusting those he knows deep down he shouldn’t but sometimes you have to get in bed with the devil to reach your goals. Not to mention, Lucy is mastering her gifts so that she can also defeat her father so that she can return to the love of her life, Adan.

Beautiful Darkness follows Adan and Lucy in their quest of escaping the Underworld and their life after that.
The focus of the first part of the book is the Demon world and the powers demon posses, and the plan to dethrone Lucien, the King of Kalmerus. It shows how many demon powers, skills and witches spells can outsmart a very powerful royal demon, by someone who holds the knowledge of them. A big brother, a demon keeping his word to his young sister. Both Adan and Lucy are discovering and learning new demon skills, with a goal in their mind.
Adan is left in the human realm with no memory of Lucy or his first time in the demons realm, he is embracing new demon powers and crosses the realms again to the Underworld, but this time prepared with a plan, allies, new powers and Gods by his side, to bring his mate back. While Lucy is in the Underworld training to be stronger and she learns to trust her brother.
My favourite parts are when they defeat Lucien and he is finding out he looked in the wrong place. Adan and Lucy's ultimate demon forms, and Kalmerus finding the true heir. Their wolfs Beast and Angel.

Beautiful Darkness is part two of Adan and Lucy's story.
Adan has to go through a lot in this part to be able to reunite with Lucy. There is so much pain we feel from him. He has no memory of Lucy, but everyone else does. This causes him a lot of internal pain. I just wanted to push myself into this book so I could give him a big hug. He goes through some mental anguish in order to be able to correct what happened to him in the first book. We really see him fighting for his mate and the love of his life.
Lucy goes through a lot of growth through this part. She is no longer going to hide who she truly is. She embraces her demon side and fully transforms into the demoness she was always supposed to be. Everything she does in this book is in the pursuit of protecting Adan and I really appreciated everything she does.
This couple is one of my favourites from this universe and I was so happy to be able to see their whole relationship develop from start to finish. There is so much I love about these two together.

Where do I even begin with my review of Beautiful Darkness? I could go on and on singing its praises, and nothing but praises because I couldn’t find ANYTHING that I disliked!!
It was most definitely a (love) story of “EPIC” proportions!! I love all of Cassandra M’s books, but this book and Beneath Her Darkness are hands down my favourites!! Adan’s and Lucy’s story was “SO EPIC” that it took two books to tell it!!
Extremely well written and so descriptive, and so full of life and love, ups and downs, humour and sadness, suspense AND SO MUCH MORE!!! I cannot say enough about it!! I ABSOLUTELY and COMPLETELY loved it!! You most definitely won’t be disappointed when you read these two books!! Worth a lot more than a 5 star rating, and worth buying the paperbacks to have in your collection and to read again and again!!!

Adan’s and Lucy’s stories picks up where the first book ended. Adan doesn’t remember Lucy and he’s getting frustrated with everyone mentioning her. He doesn’t know if he wants to know who she is or forget her. In the meantime Lucy is in the underworld and decides she needs to learn everything she can in order to fight and get back to Adan.
On this second installment we follow Adan and Lucy doing everything they can to go back to each other. We get to really know Lucius, Lucy’s brother and really see a great character growth with Lucy.
Overall, this was an amazing closing to Adan’s and Lucy’s story. We get a roller coaster of emotions, suspenseful moments, steamy scenes and side characters POVs.

Cassandra didn't disappoint and give a one hell of an adventure in this story; pun intended! You get Adan and Lucy plus you get werewolves, demons, witches, gods and goddesses, and spice! Did I say you also get a certain demon for free? You will and you'll love him for sure!
Adan and Lucy came out stronger and unbeatable in this book! I love how they developed individually and as a team! Read both books and you will not regret it

Since Beneath Her Darkness was a cliffhanger, I couldn't help but dive into this book immediately 'cause, come on! You can't leave us hanging! That being said, I'm so glad I decided to dive right in.
This story gave me heart flutters, pulse racing, sad feels, happy vibes, and bursts of anger. I swear I went through the whole gamut of emotions in Inside Out and then some, lol! As escapism goes, Beautiful Darkness allowed me to get lost in Adan and Lucy's lives and forget about my worries. I even lost sleep because I hated the thought of closing my eyes to stop reading, hehe

Omg omg omg! If I thought part 1 was great, then part 2 blew it out of the park!!
I didn't think it could get better, and it did! Just like the first one, this one has everything you could want in - multiple povs, fantastic plot, amazing and sometimes saucy storyline as well as characters -cough- Lucius - cough -
Adan and Lucy command your attention and they are very literally on fire so find yourself a comfy nook with snacks and drinks cause you will not move once you start - trust me I didn't🤭🙈

What a beautiful conclusion to this duet! The way Cassandra brings all the pieces together while balancing so many supernatural factors, she does an outstanding job. I immediately feel in love with Adan & Lucy in Part 1 and that didn’t change. To see everything went through, endured and persevered through to get their HEA… it was perfect. Thank you Cass for taking a chance dive out of your comfort zone and give us this new world. Highly recommended!
