After Savage Vows,i was left with one question….who killed the Moretti Don,Rafaele?
The Moretti’s were convinced the Russo’s were responsible,but were they??
Dante knew one thing for sure,though…..what he was going to do to the Russo’s to make them pay.
He’d take Valentina Russo,and force her to marry him.
Only,what he got out of his plans wasn’t what he’d expected….and i enjoyed seeing him find out exactly what he’d done!
Because even though he knew a lot about Valentina Russo,he still wasn’t prepared to find out exactly how strong she was…..and what she’d do to him.
And Valentina herself…..i loved that girl!
Tough,resilient and intelligent,but with a hidden passion waiting to be set alight by the right man,she was the perfect partner for Dante.
And i was right about the Russo’s not having anything to do with Rafaele’s death.
In fact,there’s more then one attempt to start a war within the Four Corners Alliance during Merciless Vows….
The course of action?

Let’s start with the Sicilian Velvet Recipe, oh - could have done with one of those.😁
Secondly, i refer to the cover of books holding the mystery to a read. This is one of those covers that draws you in. It’s mysterious, deadly and inviting.
Ok. We enter the lives of the Russo Crime Mafia. Valentina Russo also known as the Russo Princess, not only for her looks but her intelligence too.
Dante Moretti - underboss of the Moretti Crime Family. Also headstrong in his beliefs. Has a plan to avoid the upcoming war between the two families. Might not have been the brightest idea but the most positive one which also opens up questions to the death of their Father. Also avoiding a war, revenge and unification between the two families.
His downfall at the moment is his “obsession “ with Valentina. What started as a means became personal and everlasting. A love story in the making. From an unorthodox plan to save a war has become a twist of patience and trust or lust?
It has been quite a while since I have read anything by Sierra. Still as refreshing as ever. Dante & Valentina went on quite a ride. Their union had some unorthodox situations but it almost ended well. Wouldn’t say cliffhanger at the end, but most certainly aligning the last of the 4 corners together. Complex, yes, but also need to read to understand the reference.
This was a power play by Dante who took big risks without a certain outcome.
Valentina was that risk. The Russo Princess. The question still lays- who is orchestrating the war between the families? There is a clue within, but is this the family involved?
Awaiting next instalment - Sinful Vows. Will Dario follow Dante’s footprints?.

Merciless Vows by Sierra Cartwright is the third title in the Titans: Moretti Mafia series and as a mafia dark romance it had me hooked from the start with it's captivating plot and storyline covering Dante Moretti's obsession with the princess of rival mafia family, Valentina Russo.
Dante, enforcer, now underboss after his father's death is intent on revenge and all evidence points to the Russo family being the culprits.
He conceives a plan to exact revenge by kidnapping and marrying Valentina for the purpose of leverage and punishment towards the Russo's.
Valentina is no shrinking violet and Dante finds himself obsessing over the beautiful woman and what started out as strategic becomes a whole lot more.
There is instant attraction between the two of them and their undeniable sizzling chemistry manifests in part as a battle of wills and wit as their marriage looms.

I could really feel the tension between power, loyalty, and vulnerability which added depth to the story that went well beyond the romance. The forced proximity aspect was another highlight for me, bringing a perfect balance of drama and some really nice slow-burn moments.
The story felt like a lighter take on the mafia theme, but I enjoyed it. The epilogue was sweet, while also providing a hand off to the next story in the series.
Give this a try if you enjoy a good, enemies to lovers, mafia romance with a side of kink that has just the essence of violence.

I've really been looking forward to Dante's book and all I can say is, it was well worth the wait!
Dante, as dominant and ruthless as ever, is now the underboss, after his father's assassination. He's out for blood and is holding the Russo family responsible. To get revenge, he decides to kidnap Russo's daughter, Valentina, and force her to marry him. What he doesn't account on is that Valentina is no submissive, plaint Mafia princess. She's smart and self-assured. Dante finds himself challenged by her constantly and soon he's obsessed by her.
I loved watching these two spar with each other while falling in love. It's such a fantastic enemies to lovers story.
There are obvious spoilers for the earlier books in the series, and while Dante and Valentina get their HEA, there is still the series arc that leaves us with unanswered questions. I can't wait for the next book!

Merciless Vows is the 3rd book in the Moretti Mafia series. While we meet up again with the couples from previous books, Dante and Valentina's story can be as a standalone. It's for the most part an enemies-to-lovers romance with hot sexy times. I enjoyed their battle of wits and their growing respect, admiration and love for each other. It started out with chapters alternating between both POVs, but there's a stretch where we unfortunately loose Dante's for a bit. The HEA for the couple is sweet, but overall, only a temporary respite for the wider family, because the ongoing, unresolved suspense plot will carry on into the next book. I received an early copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A marriage built on revenge or love?
Valentina and Dante, just WOW! Their stories timeline is pretty much over one week. Rival mafia families (or are they), he kidnaps her, takes her back to his place…and the bossiness, tension and controlling of her every moment commences. She fights it however her bodies reaction to him is intense.
He forces their marriage, at the same time he is ensuring she gets what she wants.
Like many of Ms Cartwright’s books the inner dialogue of the main characters is deep, emotional and often is the opposite of what is being said out loud.
Family, super spicy, caring, controlling and eventually trust.
Loved this book.

The sizzling electricity between Dante and Valentina will keep you captivated!
I love how Valentina is the strong female protagonist or that is until she meets Dante on a girls night out! What follows is unexpected and almost starts a war between the Moretti and Russo families. Valentina doesn’t understand how she can be attracted to Dante, the enemy, and likewise Dante struggles with the attraction to Valentina whose family supposedly killed his father. Yet as they adjust to life as a married couple, the fact remains that there is a rival creating havoc between the families. How will it all end? You have to read to find out and don’t expect to put the book down until you turn the last page!

I absolutely admire the fierce force that Valentina was. She faced everything with determination.
Dante and Valentina were both born into the mafia life. Both predestined to hold a position of power. Both accepting their duties. But Dante played a card neither side saw coming. He wanted revenge and Valentina was the weapon. Except he didn’t expect her to be such an enticement or to be such a force to be reckoned with. And Valentina surely never expected to fall for the enemy.
When Fate and circumstances start pushing these two not only to the brink but together, they can’t deny their chemistry.
These two were such an incredible read.

This is the third book in the Titans: Moretti Mafia series. It can be read as a standalone but there is a continuing plot that runs through the stories. Dante Moretti is convinced the rival Russo family eliminated his father. He’s been promoted from enforcer to underboss & decides to take revenge through the Russo princess, Valentina. Dante seems to be obsessed with Valentina, then intrigued, and possessive in his growing feelings for her. I loved the way he demanded respect for and was proud of her knowledge & experience as a consigliere. This was a one sitting read for me. A quick and enticing read.

As feelings and emotions come into play the lines between love and hate blur, and the more Valentina insists her family are innocent, the more Dante questions what he has always believed to be the truth - which means there's another player with their own agenda.
A good story, with good characters and plotline which made this an enjoyable read from beginning to end.

I loved this story. I couldn't put it down. I have been a fan of Sierra Cartwright for years now. I can't get enough of her stories. Dante is the Moretti enforcer and he makes a bold move when he kidnaps Valentina. Valentina knows how to take care of herself but she still gets kidnapped by an enemy. She didn't realize there was more going on. He forces her to marry him but he doesn't realize that she will be stronger than he originally believe. Things won't go the way they believe. Will they be able to work things out to get a happily ever after?

Dante got his HEA although to route to the HEA was a little unorthodox. The Moretti men need strong women, and Valentina is a strong woman. As the daughter of a rival Family, and one who involved in her family’s business nothing has prepared her for Dante. He is a force to be reckoned with. But as much as Valentina does not want to marry Dante, she cannot fight the battle or him internally. This is a slow burn romance that introduces a new mystery to the series. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Now? One more brother to go!

The Moretti brothers are out to find who murdered their father. Dante Moretti exacts revenge for his father’s murder by kidnapping Valentina Russo, the daughter of his enemy. He's got big plans but there's one problem Valentine says her family did not murder his father. Can he believe her? The search for the internal mole continues. I love these two they're both strongly independent, stubborn and I love their witty banter. It was great to see his brothers and their wives in the story too. I am enjoying this series and this book is no exception. Seeing Dante and Valentina find their way was something else. Dante is not prepared for the likes of Valentina. She is a strong woman and a good match for Dante. What starts off as revenge soon turns into something totally different. It was nice to see the strength of these two and how they interacted. The attraction is there from the start and the hate soon changes to an emotion neither of them can deny. As we see their relationship take shape secrets are revealed and the families must figure out just who is manipulating this game.

Now that was a sizzling slow burn! Dante is appropriately named because, wow, that man gives off all the heat. Valentina is no slouch either, and while they are she fights the chemistry they have, she notices all the things that make her want him. Of course, in this world, they is always danger at every turn, and underlying motives to unravel. These two had all the chemistry, and realized they also had all the heart, as they start their HEA <3

Another great Moretti son gets his happy ending. This one may be a forced marriage, but Valentina is honest enough to admit she loves the dress and ring. She is strong and powerful in her own right and is accepted and respected by all the brothers. The chemistry between Dante and Valentina is explosive and very hot. There is still a mystery to be solved as to who is trying to start a war, but that is for the next book.

I would have thought that Valentina wouldn't have fallen for a spiked drink because she is her father's daughter, but I guess everyone makes mistakes. I didn't like Dante's position regarding Valentina's regard for when he was going to consummate the marriage. He was going to force her regardless of her wishes, even if her body wanted it, but her mind didn't. It worked out in the end, but....

Merciless Vows is Book 3 in the Titans: Moretti Mafia series and each book just keeps getting better. I think this is the best book out of the series so far!
This is Valentina Russo and Dante Moretti’s book. Dante kidnaps Valentina out of revenge for his father. Dante isn’t getting a weak willed woman!

Merciless Vows (Book 3 of Titans: Moretti Mafia) by Sierra Cartwright. I’m not sure what I liked more in this story, the drama or the characters. Both drew me in and held me captive while I devoured this story. I thought this book was entertaining. The author does a good job keeping you vested in the story and outcomes while routing for the HEA. I would recommend this book and author to others.
