The last book in the Starlight Trilogy sees Summer and Adam explore the dangerous depths of their relationship. But when Adam opens his heart, a deadly threat could tear them both apart.
I didn’t want to give 3 stars, but… idk. I expected more? Bit more of here and there…
El primer libro me encantó, el segundo quedó más o menos, pero este me defraudó un poquito. Sobretodo, por el final. Sentí que se desperdició bastante material para poder hacer la historia más consistente.
But, me gustó la autora. Quizá lea más cosas de ella… ¿empecé con los libros equivocados?
The final installment in the Starlight series. Everything came together in this final book, revealing some things that were left to question in Star Struck and Rising Star. It was a light, easy read which I finished in one sitting.
Adam's past wasn't anything outrageously unpredictable but I can see how it added to his character. I would have also have liked to see more of their families involved in the story, but that's a personal preference and the plot didn't suffer from their absence.
The sex scenes seem to have gotten more 'erotic' (maybe 'erotic' isn't the eight word but I can't seem to find a suitable one) as the series has gone on, especially in this final book, it doesn't overpower the book or detract from the plot though.
I would have liked an epilogue to see how Adam and Summer went on after the show and maybe see what George and Tammy were up to. Nonetheless I liked the ending, it finished the series off well. The series I enjoyed as a whole.
I really enjoyed this series of books. I fell completely in love with Adam and had a very clear image of him in my mind. He and Summer were great characters and although the ending was a bit predictable I still loved the story. I also liked the few mentions of James and Issy from the Spotlight series giving both series a link.
The romance continues, and so does the drama. Star Crossed was the most suspenseful of the three books. I got to learn more about Adam's troubled past, and meet his mum. Summer overcomes some huge personal drama, a writes a great song. I do wish I could have heated some of the music, the words were great but without the music it was just a poem.
