When I read book 1, I decided I wasn't going to read book 2. But then, I randomly found it on my kindle and decided, sure, whatever. Plus, I was in the mood for sienna mynx. It was okay I guess.

Michelle Dixon has been betrayed by the people in her life, her sister Sasha, her Pops and the man she loves, Lee. Sasha and Lee used her by convincing her to give up her dream of becoming a doctor so that she could get back into being the jewel thief she was groomed to be. Michelle and her sister Sasha were taught the intricacies of being a thief by their father. Pops taught his Chocolat, his nickname for Michelle, and Sasha everything they needed to know, and they were the best at what they did. However, after he died Michelle wanted out of that life.

Her sister, knowing that Michelle wanted out, betrayed her by making her believe that Lee had kidnapped Sasha, and that her life hung in the balance. Believing this, Michelle did all she could to accomplish the jewel heist that Lee told her she needed to do in order to free her sister. Now they have people looking for them trying to kill them because of the ‘Jesus Stones’ Michelle stole in the first book of the series called ‘The Heist’.
Over the last few months I had debated with myself whether or not to get the first book in this series, and I always opted not to. Now I'm so upset that I didn't. I loved this story and even though I didn't read the first book there were enough references made to the first one that I did not feel lost. This book grabs you right from the start with the love/hate relationships she had with her sister and Lee. The sex was hot and you knew that Lee loved his Chocolat beyond reason and he was so very afraid of losing her. Michelle craved her freedom, she loved Lee too, but she wanted to have her choices back again. She wanted to be the one to decide if she stayed with Lee, not have him tell her that she was. This story flowed so smoothly, you always knew who all the players were and the storyline kept me involved.

The story had lots of action, love, sex and the strong will of one woman determined to win it all. This is only the second book in this series and I know the next book ‘The Chalice’ will be as excellent as this one.

For The Love of Chocolat is the second book in Lee's Girls Series and I have to say the first book rocked my world but this book totally blew me out the park! The story starts off right where the first one ended. Michelle has stolen the Jesus Stones to get her sister Sasha back. But what she learns after the heist is that her sister was never really in harms way. Sasha faked the kidnapping because she did not want Michelle to have a normal life. Sasha wanted to stay in the family business their father taught them to do. Plus her sister Sasha wanted to help Lee get Michelle to be with him. Michelle when she finds out does not know what to. She loves her sister and she loves Lee but she feels betrayed and lied to and she is not so sure who has her best interest at heart.

To make matters worse she is being chased by some crazy mad man who is pissed she stole the Jesus Stones and wants them back. What is Michelle to do because doesn't know who to trust or who to go to. She just wants to go to medical school and become a doctor and live a normal life instead of being known as a jewelry thief. On top of all that is the fact that she wants Lee. Her heart and her body and her soul wants Lee but she knows he is no good for her and eventually he will break her heart. She knows the passion they share is real and the sex is great but at the end of the day can her heart survive Lee? She is not so sure.

With her sister acting crazy and Lee acting weird Michelle has to decide on whether or not she will finish what her father started and steal the Golden Chalice. Should she steal it what would happen to her and Lee and her and her sister? Plus to make matters worse the Golden Chalice is locked away in the worlds most secure bank. She knows if she steals it it will stop all the madness her father created in the black market but she also knows it might just be the end of her life.

Will she steal the golden chalice? Will she and Lee finally be able to be together? Or will her sister and Lee betray her again?

3 1/2 stars. This book was very exciting - never a dull moment. Lee and Michelle are still trying to figure out what will come of their relationship. Lee is hell bent on having his happily ever after with Michelle, but she adamantly tries to make excuses as to why they can't be together. Michelle just can't seem to get over her trust issues with Lee. She's afraid if she lets him in her heart, he'll hurt her and she's not completely convinced that he truly loves her.

Lee proves time and time again that he could care less about the Chalice and Michelle's safety is all that matters to him. I really liked Lee even more in this book. He proves his loyalty to Michelle and he wasn't afraid to tell her how he felt. When MIchelle finally told Lee how she felt, I wanted to yell, "It's about damn time!" As much as these two can't seem to get it together, there are those rare moments when all is well and their relationship seems unbreakable but then some drama kicks in and shuts it back down. I honestly didn't like the ending because it felt abrupt, but overall this was another winner for my by Sienna Mynx.

Fantastic flawless ending

I am so looking forward to reading the next instalment of this story, even thou I do not want this tale to end!!!!! 10 out of 10 star ratings!!!! Well worth every penny spent on this book. This had my heart racing with this bank break-in. I also did not want Chocolate to do this job as I feared for her life.......I am looking forward to seeing everyone who conspired against Michelle and Lee getting their just deserves. I can't understand why Sasha could not keep her trap close, why did she have to go and say anything about her dirty deed she had with Lee, she really infuriates me to high heaven, she such a silly child....you keep your mouth close! You carry your secrets to the bloody grave with you! As a sister I don't know how I could forgive her even thou what she did with Lee was no biggie, but poor Michelle does not know that from what she over heard from Kumar's microphone

The truth of Sasha and Lee's betrayal hit Michelle (Chocolat) hard and she wants nothing to do with either of them. Lee is not going for that. Lee has fallen in love with Michelle and wants her forgiveness and for them to move on. He will stop at nothing to get her back into his heart and bed. Book II takes you on a rollercoaster ride of mistrust, family revelations, and heartbreak. Chocolat and members of the illusive Order are in search of the rumored Chalice. The Chalice will solidify power for the person who has it in their possession. There is so much going on this book that I was on the edge of my seat while reading it. Highly recommend this read, 5 stars!!

I don't know why this felt like a much shorter read than the heist. However I loved it nevertheless. The revelation at the end broke my heart. They've Ben through a lot as a couple, I hope this solidifies Lee's and Michelle's relationship.

Great series by Sienna Mynx. It started out good with book 1 and got better with book 2. Plenty of drama with hustlers, jewel thieves and steamy sex.
