Another very thought-provoking book from David Icke.

He always manages to go one step further than the previous one. His explanation of the illusion in which we live and that we will face even at the moment of 'death' is spectacular.

Read it with an open mind, and everything will make sense.

Exit the matrix. 🌌

David Icke has done it again

I have read several books by David Icke. I watched lots of interviews. And as soon as I think, ok he cannot surprise me anymore then he writes a book, bam - I am lightening stroke all over again. I am really curious what he will tell us about why we sleep, next. I cannot wait to read the next book. Well done and thank you. It has been an exciting journey for the last 3 years.

Good overall summary of David Icke's Theories

I'd give this five stars if the author took a little more time and care to draw stronger lines between the dots he is attempting to connect. For the vast majority, his theories on the nature of our existence are pretty out there, but for those of us who attempt to stay open, it is a fascinating journey. Still, for me, when making a case, stating an argument, or attempting to prove something using the scientific method, it is important to carefully present as much evidence as possible for each new concept in a well-researched and carefully woven presentation. I feel he has asked us to take a bit too big of a leap from one idea to the next, which leaves a lot of room for doubt. Regardless, it is a thought-provoking read, and wonderful counterculture provocation. At the very least, it should inspire excellent science fiction and great conversation. At best, it could begin to shift paradigms. I plan on reading more.

My official review of The Dream by David Icke:

David Icke does all excellent job in the first 10 chapters of this book at outlining the specifics of exactly how our perceptions have been manipulated by the globalist cult that runs our 3D reality. He lays out his belief that there is an AI program being run by negative entity beings behind this manipulation. I agree with him on this point. However, this is where my agreement with him ends. David seems to be so caught up in laying out this negative programming that he completely misses the fact that if we live in a dualistic world that there must be default also be a positive force as well. He believes that there is no higher force beyond our higher selves and that there are no positive entities assisting humanity in getting through this earthly existence. He believes that there is no purpose for our early existence other than to awaken to the fact that we have been caught up in the reincarnation trap and to get back to Source. He states that all of the Astral plane and all messages disseminated through it are part of the negative AI program and that we are not powerful enough or capable of overriding this programming except by death and bypassing further reincarnation. He also states that our physical bodies have no further purpose than to decode this programming. I especially do not agree with his premise that there is no positive future possible for humanity and that a continuation of the negative program and eventually destruction is all that is possible. I disagree that there is no purpose to the suffering and pain we experience in this life. On other notes, David spends quite a bit of time in the book talking about escaping duality by accepting others and focusing on our similarities rather than our differences, yet he also spends extensive time going over these differences and explaining his belief that anyone who disagrees with him is simply wrong. He seems to be extremely hurt and wounded to his core by the extreme censorship he's endured and devotes quite a few pages whining and complaining about it and lashing out at his accusers. I think David's initial premise is correct but it is clouded by his own negative views on life and taken to the extreme.

The Dream is an amazing eye opening book. Gives you a sense of what is truly going on around us and who we are. It can be a little freaky at times, thinking if this is actually true. David Icke covers all his theories with facts and in-depth information. Very good book and a must read!

WOW !! Love David Icke's outlook on reality and this book is quite a lesson. A bit of a difficult read only because it requires frequent stops for contemplation. Wish there were more people in my life that I could actually discuss his information with. It is definitely a very deep dive into the rabbit hole.

If you have read litcherally any of the previous works in his oeuvre there is no need to read this one. This marks the first time I didn't give Icke five stars. It just felt a little dialed in, for fiat currency, not to further humanity. It read like a rushed, condensed, Cliff Note version of Perception Deception and The Biggest Secret. However, having said that, David Icke books are much like the Tarot. He provides a lifetime of study with his references much like the 78 encyclopedias of the Tarot, for the symbolically literate.

I postponed reading this book because I thought it would be too “heavy”. It is certainly contentious. It also indicates that Icke is superbly well read and his writing style flows easily and with great articulateness. I am in accord with many of his views. Those that I initially disagreed with I then revisited and found that Icke had drawn a veil back on a view previously obscured. I cannot recommend this book enough.

David Icke's *The Dream* is an intriguing exploration of his philosophical and metaphysical insights, blending his characteristic critiques of societal structures with an invitation to question the very fabric of reality. True to Icke’s style, the book challenges mainstream narratives and offers a provocative lens through which to view human existence and our potential.

### Strengths:
1. **Philosophical Depth**: Icke delves into concepts such as consciousness, the nature of perception, and the idea that reality as we know it is a construct—a "dream" shaped by unseen forces. His perspective encourages readers to think deeply about their beliefs and assumptions.
2. **Accessible Writing**: Despite tackling abstract ideas, Icke writes in a way that feels conversational and approachable, making complex topics easier to grasp for a wide audience.
3. **Unique Perspective**: Icke’s refusal to conform to conventional thinking is evident throughout the book. His insights, though controversial, resonate with readers who enjoy challenging the status quo.

### Weaknesses:
1. **Repetitive Themes**: For those familiar with Icke’s previous work, much of *The Dream* revisits familiar ground, including his theories about societal control and the illusory nature of reality.
2. **Polarizing Content**: While Icke’s ideas can be thought-provoking, they may feel too speculative or extreme for some readers. This could alienate those looking for grounded evidence to support his claims.
3. **Pacing Issues**: The book sometimes meanders, making it difficult to maintain focus during denser sections.

### Verdict:
*The Dream* is a compelling read for those open to exploring alternative perspectives on life, reality, and humanity’s potential. While it’s not without its flaws, it offers plenty of food for thought, particularly for fans of philosophy, metaphysics, and alternative worldviews. Whether or not one agrees with Icke’s conclusions, the book serves as a valuable reminder to question the nature of reality and remain curious about the unknown.

Perhaps worth higher star rating if your new to the authors material and research— but this is my 14th or so book by the author read at the time of writing that his review — and if your well versed in his work it’s.nothing incredibly new - but fascinating seeing what he said decades ago playing out before our very eyes — sad where the world is and heading even after many have woken up to reality — this is a good playbook to plan in what’s ahead tho and plan life accordingly to your goals and desires knowing the obstacles ahead

I’m also not so sure about his take on life after death and attempts of being put into a loop of recantation by evil forces — I think this simulation is all that is and beyond I think God and Angels ie forces of good and divine will have more authority than he gives credit or faith too — where demos will still have control I doubt as their deception is starting but authority weak

but that’s my opinion and no man or women has really been able to verify it since time began by coming back lol

To Our Continued Success!

With one glaring exception, the David Icke project is a good one: supply entertaining conjectures about how the world is not quite the one we think we know. You know when he talks about the Reptile race that preceded humans and continues to "hide behind human forms," that his tongue is where yours should be: in cheek. But along the way he raises concerns that brush against serious thinking, such as 1) "mainstream science's" biased dismissal of Rupert Sheldrake, whose TED talk on species "patterns" was rudely nixed by producers as non-canonical (iargely because scientists have refused to test his theories); 2) the Archons, evil creators from the Gnostic tradition who are responsible for the world's evils (who says our proximate creators had to be perfect?); and, along the same lines, 3) what are the real odds that we live in a (probably AI-based) simulation; ...to name a few.

The glaring error is his referring more than once to Covid-19 as a hoax and Covid vaccines as part of a murderous conspiracy, views he's promulgated on YouTube that resulted in his justifiable expulsion from that platform. These slanders have had well-known destructive effects, in weakening trust and authority of government research and science in general; and by encouraging people to shun vaccinating their families, hurt herd immunity and resulted in resurgence of controllable viruses like measles or worse, causing avoidable fatalities including among children. If Icke really believes these worn chatroom narratives, he should at least try to substantiate them with citations and factual evidence. But he merely restates them as facts. There's not a footnote in sight, which I find unforgivable. I suspect his game is to try to boost sales by currying MAGA favor.

I listened to this 3 novel series 2022-2024 - "The Trap, The Dream, and The Reveal" and I always like Icke's human and existential theories, but as usual they could be EDITED down to 50% of the words he uses!!!

1 - . The well spoken audiobooks that Icke narrated were around 20 hours each!!!

2 - Massive anti-Covid and vaccine theory.

3 - Vaccines have nanotechnology and gravatene in them that make you PROGRAMMABLE.

4 - Reincarnation is a TRAP - turn away from the "LIGHT" and stop the negative reincarnation loop.

4 - Our reality is a simulation.

5 - You were born to be enslaved and abused. The test is to escape. See Plato, Jewish Essenes, Christian Gnostics, Etc..

David Icke, the author, says we are living in a Dream. And he's certainly correct.

People are oblivious of the plans being made for them. They won't hear about the lethality of the Covid vaccine. The UN plans to move people around. They will be forced to leave their homes. The excuse will be global warming. The UN was just caught trafficking people into the US. Icke says the Cult, a group of elites who answer to nonhuman entities, rules the world, and that's why you have things like the Covid vaccine with nanotechnology and synthetic mRNA in order to change humanity. But the average person doesn't want to know. They want to stay in the Dream.

David Icke certainly has some unusual and cutting-edge theories about who and what we really are, but one thing I will say, imho he makes a lot of sense by his ability to tie up the loose ends of the various parts of what he proposes, vis a vis, what's happening in our universe and in our political and social lives on this planet. I'm not ready to buy into everything he lays out, but I will say I am certainly trying to understand it and to use it in my struggle to understand life on earth and how my life plays into it.

With the mainstreaming of more grounded conspiracy theories, Icke is reduced to focusing more and more on his metaphysical waffle, but still manages to find time to be both hateful and pathetic. Full review: https://fakegeekboy.wordpress.com/202...

Definitely did not flow as well as The Trap and felt like it went on a little long towards the final quarter. However, the mental gymnastics that Icke asks of the reader is nothing but impressive. If you go into these books with an open mind and without your feet planted so firmly in your ideals it can be a nice exercise in questioning our shared reality as we've been taught it to be.

A decent and interesting depiction however there is a large portion of this book that descends into David's chagrin at pseudo alternative outlets like Rogan and brand. The concept is interesting but the solution is not secure.
