It was supposed to be the annual mom’s getaway to relax, recharge, and have fun.
The women deserved it, obviously, but with my wife pregnant, I can’t help but meddle–just a little. It’s a good thing too because apparently every one of the moms needs me. Delia is once again working herself into the ground, Dylan has a wedding to plan, Shayla could use a little more attention from her busy hockey playing husband and well Liv, she unfortunately needs a break from me. I have a plan though–we’re going to crash the Mom Com’s Vacation.AUTHORS All royalties from sales and borrows of Mom Com’s Vacation will be donated to the Jeremiah Program, a 501c3 organization which supports single mothers living in poverty. Jenni Bara lives in New Jersey working as a paralegal in family law, writing real-life unhappily ever-afters every day. In turn, she spends her free time with anything that keeps her laughing, including life with four kids, or five, if you count her husband. She is just starting her career as a romance author writing books with a great balance of life, love, and laughter.
Absolutely love the Momcom!! These books (3/4) were some of my favorite reads from 2024!! This novella does not disappoint!!! Beckett continues to be one of my favorite characters of all time!! Him and Liv are just so great!! I loved all the time with the kids! Cortney and Dylan are as cute as ever and I loved seeing the baby!! Love the Shining twins and also Delia and Enzo!! Shay continues to be the most blah character but Rowan was steadfast In being decent. I wish we had more Kai, Finn, Winnie & Addie.
Overall a great look into a momcom vacation and ultimately a wedding!! Even a sneak peek at a spinoff!!
any Langfield story automatically gets 5 stars from me
I can't rate the MomCom books high enough... Seriously they have led me into another world from day one. I have read everything from book 1 going forward and Am now going back over the Bristol Bay series too. I love all 4 sassy mind and their kids but have to say Beckett is the GOAT when it comes to their men... Always.
Trope - novella, billionaire, meddling, sports romance, spice, found family, romcom, HEA
OMFG, this was so good. I missed these characters and their story.
The story begins with the mom's going on vacation, leaving their other partners with the kids.
Beckett, being Beckett, doesn't want to leave his very pregnant wife, so he kidnaps everyone and sneaks them close by. I don't care what anyone says, but Beckett will forever be my favourite. His meddling, love, care, and stubbornness to get what he wants not only added excitement to the series but also kept the family united.
Loved reading Liv and Beckett being cute, caring, and quirky; Dylan and Cortney being the sweet, madly-in-love couple; Shay and Rowan being the always-horny couple; and lastly, Delia and Enzo struggling yet emerging stronger than ever. Each couple was at a different stage of their relationship, and watching them grow through this book was pure bliss.
The kids and family were their chaotic selves, and damn it, it felt like coming home and seeing that nothing has changed. I liked how this book focused on the main couple's, and the kids were just side characters and didn't take up much time.
This was the perfect novella to end the series with just the right amount of spice. Overall 4/5
I really enjoyed this series when it was each separate mom’s story. Everyone was always in each story, but I loved that there was a focused story in each one. This one, as a novella, felt a bit chaotic because there’s a lot of people to navigate in a little amount of time. It was fun for what it was though. I loved that all couples are still intact and even if they were struggling a bit, they find their way back to each other. While ALL the kids are still around, they didn’t steal much time away from the main story, and I really liked that. Definitely don’t read this unless you’ve read the rest of the series first.
It was supposed to be the annual mom’s getaway to relax, recharge, and have fun.

Review: This was so fun
So Liv and the girls go on vacation cause Liv needs a vacation while she's pregnant with the twins, and Beckett is always hovering.
So the girls go on vacation
But Beckett can't not meddle, so he , Courtney, Enzo and Rowan, and the kids all crash, but they stay at the caretaker area so Liv won't see them
Courtney is stressing cause of the wedding
Delia and Enzo haven't had sex in a month .
So Beckett does what he does best
.
Shay and Rowan get at on the beach, hehe.
Enzo finds Delia and takes her on the boat so they can have time together and things get spicy .
Liv found out Beckett is there and messes with him a bit and the spice between those two .
Beckett also plans for Courtney and Dylan wedding to be on vacation he invites Courtney and Dylan's family, and the wedding happens with less stress than the one his mom was planning.

This is one of those times I judged a book by its cover and got it completely wrong.
The premise—a group of moms going on a getaway only to have their husbands show up with the kids—sounded fun and intriguing. But from the start, I found it hard to follow. There are so many characters that it’s tough to keep track of who’s who. To make things even more confusing, some characters are referred to by both their names and nicknames, which are used interchangeably.
For example, Cortney is planning a wedding with Dylan. Dylan is part of the mom group on vacation, so she’s female. But it took me 23 pages to be certain that Cortney is male—and also the same character referred to as “Man-Bun.” That level of disorientation made it hard to stay invested.
The story felt chaotic overall. The chapters alternate between different characters’ perspectives, which I normally enjoy, but by the fifth chapter, I’d already heard from four different narrators—apparently, there were still four more to go.
A simpler narrative with two or three perspectives might have made this story more enjoyable and much easier to follow. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t stick with it.
This book was everything I never knew I needed. I adored the Momcom series & I loved this quick novella that brought us back into this world. I was laughing on page 2 and it just kept getting better. Beckett and his meddling 🤣
Honestly tho, I loved that it showed each couple still in love, but struggling with something too. This novella showed how happy they all are, yet they each overcame something too. It was a perfect representation of the “after” in the HEA.
The epilogue hinted at the next series and I am SO ready for these authors to team up again. I already know I’ll love these books & they’ll have me laughing out loud.
𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: “With twins. You’re pregnant with twins.” Every time I say that word, twins, I can’t help but swell with pride because, fuck, I’m so virile I knocked her up with two babies without even trying.
“Ya know what you should do, Ro?” I say. “Climb in through Shay’s window tonight and pretend to kidnap her. She’ll think it’s hot.”
This picks up after all four moms have found their happily ever after. Liv is pregnant (with twins because Beckett is amazing like that), Dylan is ready to marry ManBun, Shay is happy with Rowan but missing him after a long stretch of away games, and Delia is happy with Enzo. And while everyone has found their HEA, Beckett is still meddling like he does best. This time rather than prevent the girls from having their annual girls trip, he decides the men and all the kids need to join the girls on their trip. Let the antics begin.
I really hope we can continue to see these 4 moms in the future. Even in short novellas like this. Any chance I have to read these more of these characters I will take it. This story had everyone’s POV so we get Liv and Beckett, Dylan and Cortney (ManBun), Shay and Rowan, and Delia and Enzo’s side of their new lives. You can read this and still find moments of joy but I absolutely suggest reading the series first to really get the most out of it. MomCom prologue, Mother Faker, Mother Maker, Mother Pucker, and Mother Hater.
All royalties from this story are going to the Jeremiah Program, a program dedicated to lifting single moms and their children out of poverty.
I needed this book. This book was SOOO GOOD. The banter The humor The love The everything Chefs freaking kiss 😘
Liv knowing Beckett was there all along and fucking with him? PERFECT.
Shay and Rowan, eh whatever
Delia and Enzo fixing their issues, talking it out, and connecting again? SO GOOD.
But the main course Dylan and Cortney’s wedding!? FREAKING SO GOOD AND HEARTFELT AND MADE ME BALL MY EYES OUT.
I absolutely love Cortney and Dylan and couldn’t be happier. The wedding was so precious and perfect. Cortney explaining to Liam when you know you know and how it feels, PLEASE THE WATERWORKS I HAD 😭
Everything about this little vacation novella was perfect. Had me laughing, had me crying, had me kicking my feet screaming. It’s all gold 👏
4.5 Stars! What an exquisite way to see some of your fav characters continue on. And that their behaviors and personalities are still exactly the same as they were originally written. I loved seeing the momcom group and the shenanigans they get into really enjoyed that as a reader, we see each couple still going through real life events and that as characters they still had chances for growth. It makes them very Relatable. These authors really put love into their stories And i love that they make the stories flow together so well.
Such a perfect novella for anyone that’s fallen in love with the MomCom Brownstone Crew over the last year 🥹🫶🏻 I loved every single chapter and just wanted more. It felt so nostalgic to dip back into each of these relationships and see the minor (and real) struggles they all face with time and life. As always Beckett is the gift that keeps on giving and I couldn’t love this quirky, chaotic and sweet found family more if I tried!
Last year I read the momcom books and became obsessed with Beckett and his found family. I think it was the best series I read all year and I recommended the books to several friends. I love how the books are written by different authors but sync so well. I loved getting to go back and visit the crew. Can we get a family update every year? PLEASE?!? Also Cortney aka Man Bun is one of my all time favorite book boyfriends so of course I loved to see him get his official HEA!
it was great being transported back into the momcom universe with all their shenanigans and family dynamics 🫶
these characters always make me laugh and giggle, loved how we got separate plotlines for each of the moms within the larger plot. also the lil sneak peak into the next series at the end? so excited 🤭
This is a super cute book that follows the women and their men from the MomCom series. I’m you will definitely need to read Mother Faker by Brittanee Nicole, Mother Maker by Jenni Bara, Morher Pucker by Swati MH, and Mother Hater by Daphne Elliot before reading this book as it will give you spoilers.
Surprise bonus novella follow up to the MomCom series - loved it! If you haven’t read the MomCom books this novella will not make any sense. If you have read that series this is an adorable, funny, and emotional quick read.
The perfect novella to catch up with this fun and crazy crew. I loved all the books from the series and will always want more from this world. I can’t wait for the new series and more from each author.
Another hit! I love these Moms and how they're loving their best lives, together, with all their men & kids! Such a fun series, with just enough spice.
Es como un epílogo de todas las historias de la serie y me ha ENCANTADO saber de ellos un tiempo después, es que lo muchisimo que me gustó esta serie 🩷🩷🩷
MomCom Vacation brings readers another glimpse into the lives of Liv, Dylan, Shayla, and Delia as they embark on a much-needed girls' trip to Key West. With full-time careers and kids keeping them busy, the women are eager for some time away to relax, recharge, and enjoy each other’s company. But Beckett Langfield has other plans. Worried about Liv being heavily pregnant, he convinces Cortney, Rowan, Enzo, and all the kids to crash the trip by staying in the caretaker's house nearby. What starts as a getaway for the women quickly turns into a family-filled adventure, complete with romance, reconnections, and even an impromptu wedding! Each couple faces their own struggles during the trip—Cortney is stressed over his mother’s extravagant wedding plans for him and Dylan, Enzo is struggling to reconnect with Delia, and Shayla misses Rowan due to his demanding hockey schedule. Meanwhile, Beckett continues to be his overbearing but lovable self, proving once again that his obsession with Liv is both swoon-worthy and hilarious. As the week progresses, the couples find their way back to each other, rekindling their sparks in ways that are both heartwarming and steamy. And in true Beckett fashion, he comes up with the grand idea for Cortney and Dylan to get married right then and there in Key West. With their families flying in for the last-minute nuptials, the trip becomes an unforgettable celebration of love, friendship, and family.
From the very first page, MomCom Vacation had me laughing and smiling, reminding me just how much I’ve missed this incredible group of characters. These four authors have mastered the art of writing men who are obsessed—in the best way—with their women. The found family dynamic is beautifully executed, showing how these four women, who started as friends, have blended their families and significant others into one inseparable unit. The fact that Cortney asks Beckett to be his best man speaks volumes about their bond and how deep their friendships have become.
In conclusion, I gave this book 5 stars, as this novella is a perfect addition to the MomCom world, offering humor, romance, and plenty of heartwarming moments. It’s a delightful, feel-good read that leaves you wishing for even more time with this blended family. If you’ve loved these characters in previous books, you’ll adore getting to reunite with them on this unforgettable vacation! All royalties from sales and borrows of the book will be donated to the Jeremiah Program, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports single mothers living in poverty. The authors believe in the Jeremiah Program’s mission of helping single moms access college education, quality early childhood programs, safe housing, and a supportive community. This makes the book not only a delightful read but also a way to support a vital cause.
Did I think I know I needed a momcoms novella where the girls plan a solo moms only vacation but Beckett steals a plane to take the rest of the family there because he be plotting? I certainly did not. Am I grinning with glee that we got one, and that it was the most perfect thing I have ever read in my entire life? YOU BET I AM.
If you've been here for a minute you know that this Langfield Brother/Boston Revs and Bolts universe is my favorite universe in the entire world, and in 119 pages, we got absolutely everything that makes it so perfect. Beckett scheming. A Langfield brothers group chat. Dylan following where the "universe" leads. All the kids being their most delightful selves. The Beckett/Cortney bromance of our dreams ratcheted up to an 11 in the most amazing way possible. Liv knowing exactly what will get Beckett all heated and executing it perfectly. The best found family that has ever been written. Little easter eggs all over the place (Mentions of all our favorite Revs! Daddy Wilson is shopping for art (IYKYK)! Cortney's family continues to be superior!).
When I say I would die for any of these characters, I mean I would literally lay my life down for any or all of them because no more perfect world exists. I would read a book about all of them just going grocery shopping and going about their daily lives with absolutely no intrigue whatsoever, because that is the depth of my love for them. No one on this planet or any other will be able to convince me that this family is fictional because in my head, they are absolutely real, living their best lives in Boston, and all I want is for all of them to be my best friends.
In summary, this whole world is perfect. This novella is perfect. You need to read it right freaking now.
This book was absolutely EVERYTHING. Getting to see the moms (and of course the boys and kids, can’t forget them) was amazing! Like always the banter, the love, the humor, and even the dang tears hit so hard with this.
Let’s just start with the fact that everyone tried complaining about Beckett ‘kidnapping them’ and even hijacking Gavin’s team plane was one of the best scenes ever! Then them unknowingly getting caught by Liv and her messing with Beckett the entire time?? Truly priceless🤣 All while doing this and trying to hide from the moms, he was also planning his best friends wedding… Like always, Beckett mother ducking Langfield did not disappoint.
The fact that we got Cortney and Dylan’s wedding during this was absolutely amazing also because it was truly worth the wait!! When he originally asked Beckett to be his best man, I totally started crying because I looooove the bromance between Boss Man and Man Bun😭
Can we also just talk about how many hiding spots Shay and Rowan have around the house???? Like gosh, that’s a lot but it made me laugh so hard🤣
Lastly… The way Cordelia and Enzo ended up fixing their issues and communicating was such a sweet moment!! Although she always acts rough around the edges and a total man hater (I mean, same honestly I get it girl), she tapped into her feelings while with the girls and it was such a heartbreaking and wholesome experience to read.
Completely obsessed and this did not disappoint at all!! 🥰

I had hoped beyond hope that the Momcoms would come back, and I'm so glad they have! We get to catch up with all the moms, their respective partners, and, of course, the kids!
Beckett, with his crazy antics, is always up to something, and for whatever reason...it ALWAYS works out! He's either the luckiest man in the world or the smartest. Either way, I can hear his ego inflating from here! How Liv puts up with him, I'll never understand.
Cort and Dylan. Ugh. Could they be any more perfect?! She is the yin to his yang. The sunshine to his darkest night. Opposites, but so dependent on one another.
Shay and Rowan. He makes her wild. Only with him can she let go and let live. She's still always worried about the other shoe dropping, but he keeps her in the moment.
And then Delia and Enzo. Delia is perfection. I have never related to a character as much as I relate to her. I hear my own concerns in every thought she has.
Momcom Vacation was absolutely delightful and a quick read for a snowy afternoon. I can't wait to see what Beckett has up his sleeves next!
This book is a gift, a gift I tell you! If you’ve read any of the MomComs and/or their spinoff series you are in for an absolute treat!! This book gives you everything you want and more. More of the girls and their guys and more Beckett!! IYKYK. Sometimes girls just need some time together to decompress from life, their kids and their husbands. Even when you love your family with all your heart it’s good to get out with your Besties for a recharge. Liv, Delia, Shay and Dylan our going on their annual mom getaway. They need to destress and have some fun. These women deserve it, but Liv is pregnant and Beckett isn’t known for his restraint when it comes to her. He’s just a tad overprotective and over the top to put things mildly and so he can’t help but meddle. Luckily he has the other guys (significant others) to help keep him in check. Sort of.
This book is going to have you laughing, and swooning. It’s filled with so much love and affection your heart is going to be filled to the brim. Expect some stream and lots of hot spicy time. Most of all expect a great read that will leave you with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. ❤️
When I say this book had me laughing, I mean I had to put it down because my stomach HURT from giggling! I missed these characters so much, and Becket? Oh, Becket was just being Becket—meddling, swooping in with his good intentions and chaotic energy, and somehow making everything both better and worse in the best way possible.
Reading this felt like a much-needed reunion with old friends. The moms are as loveable and relatable as ever, each with their own hilarious mess of a life. Delia trying not to combust under her workload, Dylan balancing wedding plans with sanity, Shayla navigating her hockey husband’s busy schedule, and Liv… oh, the Liv drama with Becket! The way he tried to “fix” everything? Pure gold.
This series means so much to me, and this book delivered on every level. It was like a warm, chaotic hug with a side of belly laughs. I laughed so much while reading—honestly, I’m obsessed all over again. Crashing the Mom Com vacation might’ve been a terrible idea for the characters, but for me? It was perfection. I loved every page!
“How come you didn't kıdnap me? I like vacations.”
This is the novella I didn't know I needed! It was so much fun having all the gang back together again.
Lyv, Dylan, Shay, and Delia are going on vacation for a weekend to get away from everything and have some much needed girl time. But of course, Beckett can't leave well enough alone and kıdnaps the rest of the family to crash the mom's weekend.
The weekend was filled with shenanigans, laughter, couples rekindling, possible new loves being found, and, of course, Beckett's master plan, which I must admit has been his best plan so far.
It always amazes me how well these four authors work together and how they incorporate all of these characters into each other's stories. But I gotta say, the most amazing part is the selflessness they're showing by having all of the royalties from this book go to the Jeremiah Foundation.
Quote: “We all give you crap, but this family you brought us all into... Thank you. We all owe you for bringing us together.”
I have missed the mommune so much. And of course Beckett, but I feel like I’ve seen him in all the other Boston Bolts & Revs books that I didn’t realize I missed him the way I did everyone else.
Only Beckett would decide to kidnap all the men & children to take them on a vacation where they had to stay hidden in a guesthouse smaller than the original brownstone. Somehow it turns out that this was exactly what everyone needed though which only encourages his meddling to be honest.
This was the perfect bonus epilogue/novella to the MomCom series that I didn’t know I could ask for, but I am so excited for. I can’t wait to see what all these ladies come up with next. All 4 of these authors will forever be on the “immediately adds new books to my TBR” list after what they did with this series.
*the proceed from this book goes towards The Jeremiah Project, a 501c3 organization which supports single mothers living in poverty, which I think is absolutely AMAZING!!!*
