That passion never stopped throughout his youth, nor his adulthood. He has read all kinds of books, his favorite authors being Stephen King, Frank Peretti, Anne Rice, James Patterson, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, J.R.R. Tolkien, William Shakespeare, Kristine Cayne, and many, many more.
These great authors not only inspired him, yet a couple of them (Stephen King and Tracy Hickman) taught him through books, lessons and workshops how to become the creative author he is. He began writing in January of 2000, and so far, he has 4 published books, as well 2 more full-fledged stories that are nearly ready to become books.

The Making is a page turner full of mysteries and suspense. It kept me wanting to know what was going to happen with every chapter. I feel the author captured some of Dean Koontz's suspense and Stephen Kings mysterious and unusual details. I am looking forward to reading Eric Bookers next novel.

THE MAKING... is an intriguing read from beginning to end. I am a practicing litigation attorney and I don't get a lot of time to read fiction books, but this was definitely a great use of my time. Naturally, my favorite chapter was Ch. XIV: THE FALL, as the trial was elaborate and carefully thought out. This book is a "must read." One day soon I hope to have the time to begin reading his Fantasy Trilogy.

Fantasy, magic, occult,, and religion will intrigue younger adults.
This book has an interesting twist to it, which entails self exploration through magic and religion. An ambitious piece of work.

Jeb Maruso ( The Solstice Slayer) lives in poverty his life is going nowhere till he stumbles upon a book that promises it can change his life forever. The Book promises him the secret of self- transformation and the secrets of the universe. Jeb gains heightened intelligence and some powers that enable him to write a fantasy story that quickly becomes a best seller.While traveling abroad enjoying his fame and fortune he learns of some ritulistic killings in and around his home town. The killings copy those committed by the villian in Jeb's book. As Jeb tries to track the killer he becomes his own worst enemy. The plot has plenty of twists and turns until we find Jeb trying to convince the jurors and his readers that he isn't the killer himself! Or is he? A fascinating thrill ride of a read. A fantastic mystery that drew me into the story from page one. I look forward to reading more books by J.Eric Booker

This was a great book, I could not put it down! I recommend all of J Eric Booker's books! They are a must read!
