This is the 33rd book in this series; I’ve read and enjoyed the last 10 or so, but this book stands alone surprisingly well for being so far along in this series. Mary and Suzie are great and competent main characters; they co-own and operate a bed and breakfast in a smallish seaside town, so there are always interesting guests. In this book, the town is having a jazz festival and when there’s a murder, the ladies investigate, as they always do when there’s a nearby mystery. Suzie has a past as an investigative journalist, and Pilot, their dog, is always a help. This book is well-written and a nice escape from real life. I can definitely recommend this book and series; I was provided an ARC, which I appreciate, but these opinions are my own.
Dune House is so centered in the lives of so many. I love how everyone comes together to celebrate as a family. In spite of murder! I did not expect or figure out who did it until it all unfolded. A Great read! I am intrigued to continue following Susie & Mary’s adventures and I expect another murder mystery to solve.
Moonlight, Music, and Murder ( Dune House cozy mystery book 33)

Ok all the books Cindy Bell writes, Dune House books are my favorite. I have many of her books though and end Joy lol of the ones I have bought so far. I have now read 33 of the Dune House Series. Can’t wait to start number 34.
Another great little cozy by Cindy Bell. Each book I feel like I am part of a CSI team where there are plenty of motives and suspects but you have to keep reading to see which way it will turn out.
a can't put down mystery! well rounded characters, I love that it's not easy to guess the killer in the first few chapters, as a matter of fact the killer and motivation were a surprise! Plenty of twists and turns as well!
