Short, sweet and saucy!

Puck me sideways, was a great little in-between book filler between longer reads.

Hallie and Solace are divine together. Solace was unapologetic in his pursuit of Hallie, and I enjoyed every minute!

Whewee! This book is about Hallie and Solace. Hallie is a new grad marketing for the hockey team, but she has also been broken hearted for 3 years after her hockey player boyfriend cheated on her with a puck bunny. Solace is a hockey player who has become obsessed with stalking Hallie. The relationship between these two characters is HOT!! But can Solace win Hallie over and past her broken heart when the puck bunny from 3 years ago pops back up??? Grab a copy and find out! This was a nice quick read and a palate cleaner for me!

Mixed and harder to understand at the beginning

Puck Me Sideways is the first book in the new Jericho Chimeras Hockey Romance series. This story is about Hallie Newman and Solace Hunter. She has been working as a marketing "pleb" in the office of the Jericho Chimeras Ice Hockey pro team for the last four months. She learned the first week to keep her head down and try to stay as inconspicuous as possible, so as to not be picked on by the WAGs who hang out. Solace is the defender on the team and he is big, grouchy, determined and has become obsessed with Hallie since her saw her. He does not flirt but he does claim. But for Hallie she does not want to be claimed by a hockey player, even Solace, since her heart was broken by one a few years ago. Solace is going to have to work hard to prove he does not see Hallie as a puck bunny but as his forever.
So for me I am just going to say that this story was a real mix. I was confused at the start, as the author threw in the whole WAGs thing which seemed to be out of place. Solace is also stalking, and not in a great way to me. Hallie is shy, introverted and does not want his attention. I found it hard to get into the story and like the characters, which is different from other books I have read by the author. I will read the next in the series and hope for a better connection.

**Silent Protector**

*Puck Me Sideways* is the first book in the Jericho Chimeras series, and it’s such a fun read! Hailie works in the marketing department and tends to keep a low profile, just flying under the radar. Little does she know, Solace, the goalie, has been keeping an eye on her, making sure she gets home safely. He’s been drawn to her for a while and is patiently waiting for the right moment to make his move.

After experiencing heartache in the past, Hailie is understandably cautious about opening her heart again. But she soon learns that Solace is fiercely protective of what belongs to him—and she’s definitely at the top of that list. Their chemistry is absolutely electric!

This quick, instalove story is packed with just the right amount of drama and spice, leaving you wanting more. I love how Solace has that slightly morally grey vibe, which makes him all the more intriguing. Best of all, there’s no cheating or other women—just his dedication to Hailie. I’m already excited to see who the next couple will be in the series!

A fantastic short, fast paced intense read. Hallie works in marketing for the Chimera’s a professional ice hockey team and she goes out of her way to not draw attention to herself. She had her heart broken by a pro cheating on her with a puck bunny in the past and has no intention of it happening again. However, unknowingly she has already gained the attention of Solace, the goalie. Solace has had his eye on Hallie since she started, he has kept watch from a distance but finds himself unwilling to stay away any longer. Once he makes his interest clear, he wastes no time making Hallie his.
The tension between these two is palpable and Solace refuses to let any of the WAG wannabes disrespect his woman. I loved how he stood up for her but let her make her own decisions. He wanted Hallie to choose him, to believe in him and was prepared to wait (for a short time).
The story was short, but the author was able to write the characters with enough depth to make them relatable and engaging. I wish it had been slightly longer; I would love to have read more about the two and their developing relationship. I haven’t read any other books in this series, but I plan to in the future.

Puck Me Sideways is Book 1 of the Jericho Chimeras Hockey Romance series. It’s a short and steamy, kinky, OTT, curvy girl gets her hockey player stalker dark romance. Hallie is a smart and curvy marketing employee for a professional hockey team. Solace Hunter is the hunky, intense goalie who is obsessed with her and has been stalking her. She has been fantasizing about him too, but dated a hockey player before and was hurt. She doesn't know if she can do it again. But he is done waiting and ready to claim her. OMG, this was one hot read. Solace was so dark, delicious, and dirty. Hallie, although a bit shy and introverted, was strong in her own way. I loved that Solace saw her and was devoted to her. Their chemistry was pure fire, and we ended on a happy note after a lot of drama. And the bonus epilogue was hot enough to melt my Kindle. I loved it!! I need to go back and read the other books now.

A sport romance + morally grey + stalking - count me in!
I went in expecting a bit of Stockholm syndrome, a little touch her and die and a whole lotta smut.
But seriously… what I got was so much better!

Colour me surprised when the female lead didn’t bat an eyelid at a possible murder. I knew I was reading what I expected to read as soon as I saw that! 🫣🤭👊
Our stalking hero is a softie, add a bit of caramel or chai to that cinnamon roll thank you very much. And our heroine seems to have a brain, so this book was already a winner by the second chapter.

I enjoyed the build-up in this novella - it’s hard to get it right in so few words. It was hot, filthy and slightly depraved, and the heroine didn’t just fold to his demands. She owned him too, so we’ll go with an equal-opportunity ownership here. He was all-in from day one, and his jealousy was just *chefs kiss.

This was a super quick read, if you are into the hockey romance then this is definitely for you, I am however not a hockey girly.

But that being said moving on this Dark hockey romance is about Hallie who works for the Chimeras hockey team as a graduate marketing woman, who catches the eye of their defender/goalie Solace when she starts working there. Solace is the Morally Gray st@lker who is Insta-obsessed, he is enthralled with Hallie.
This book is super face paced so once he touches her he moves quickly and all bets are off.
It goes from stolen glances to you are moving in with me fast paced.

But again if you love hockey and spice this book is for you 😉

Even though Hailie works in the marketing department, is hides herself away. But one hockey player has his eyes on her at all times, Solace, the goalie. Wanting her to be safe, he has made sure she gets home safely. Waiting to make his move. One touch and he is a gone and knows she is completely his.
Between beeping bullied and having her heart broken it is going to take Solace to show her his gentle side. Solace is one alpha, dominant, fierce and the word no seems to go over his head. Hailie may doubt her own worth, but she has one strong back bone and stands her ground when needed.

These two click together, have hot crazy chemistry. The spice is off the charts.

Puck Me Sideways, a quick short Hockey Romance Novella.

I got introduced to Solace and Hallie in Puck My Heart and it was great to read how their story started :-)

Solace is the goalie for the Chimeras Hockey team, a morally grey man that has set his sights on the marketing chick (Hallie) for the team. He stalks her every night to make sure she makes it home safely.

Hallie has had a real bad experience with a Hockey player previously which makes her scared to fall for anyone again. She is bullied in the workplace but keeps to herself and keeps her head down.

The tension and spice between these 2 is perfect for the short read

Solace is a goalie for a hockey team. Hallie works in the marketing department. She is very shy and timid, mostly keeping to herself. Solace is very attracted to her and begins stalking her. He can't get her out of his mind. He follows her to make sure she gets home safely when she leaves work each day. Solace feels like Hallie already belongs to him and will stop at nothing to make her feel the same way about him.

This is a very enjoyable quick read. It is very well-written. I look forward to more from this talented author.

Well hello stalker…..Solace is intense. He is a defender for the Jericho Chimeras. He plays hard both on and off the ice. He sees what he wants and takes it.
Hallie, works in the office for the Chimeras. She is introverted, avoids everyone and hides behind her work. Solace learns there is a lot more to Hallie. She is sassy and has been hurt by a hockey player before.
Solace is one hot alpha, he knows what Hallie needs and intends to be there for her.
Enjoyable short read.

When Solace hunts you down, it is time to revel in it.

I think of these type of stories as Stalker-lite, built on mutual attraction and intent to keep, as opposed to the hardcore wish-to-harm type.

This book is short and spicy.

I liked the main characters. Although I agree with Hallie, those watercooler fools have gotta go and leave the hard workers to some peace & quiet.

It was great to see gold talons GO and Hallie find herself again.

I want to read the NEXT book.

I have enjoyed all the hockey player books by Sofia but this one was one of the best. I liked that Hallie didn't seem to think that she was seen by anyone & tried to stay invisible but Solace would not let her be unseen. I think that everyone secretly wants someone who makes them feel seen & that is what Solace did for her. This was a very satisfying read & even though he appeared to be her stalker he just wanted to keep her safe & happy (it seemed).

**Short, Well-Written Hockey Romance**

Hallie just wants to work and keep to herself; she isn't interested in hockey players—especially not since her ex broke her heart.

Solace, a goalie, has been completely obsessed with Hallie since the moment they met months ago.

This story is fantastic and fast-paced, featuring an unhinged yet sweetly devoted male lead and a slightly broken female. Solace might just be my new favorite male character, striking an excellent balance between obsession and tenderness.

I was a bit baffled by this story.. It says stalker romance so wasn't totally sure how this would go.

Solace has a thing for Hallie, he watches her every chance he gets and he follow her every night. Hallie is not the type of girl hot hockey players go for and has had one break her heart in the past. However, something about Solace is drawing her and she kind of likes him stalking her.

How far will Solace go before coming out of the shadows?.

This was a fun series opener that brings together Hailie and Solace. She's gun shy of hockey players, having had her heart broken before, but Solace leaves no room for her to escape him. I love that he had a darker edge but was totally dedicated to her. There's still drama in here, and definitely spice, and I got a kick out of the fact that he felt he owned her, she also owned him. Good fun!

A hockey romance with the right amount of steam and protective MC to get us all a flutter. Haillie works in the office, she’s quiet, a hard worker and not trying to date a hockey player like a lot of others, she’s been hurt before therefore she’s not interested but she’s managed to grab Solances attention. He has been quietly and secretly protecting her and waiting for the right time to make her his. A little drama but so enjoyable.

Hallie and Solace’s story, fast moving, spicy and you might cry. Hallie has been hurt in the past and is reluctant to get involved with Solace. Ha Ha, that doesn’t work out for her.
Solace is so protective of her, at the same time he is bossy and loving.
A quick read, I wanted more. Hope to hear more about them in future books

You are going to discover that once you start reading this book, you are hooked on it and invested in these characters and unable to put it down. It moves along at a really great pace, making for an easy and enjoyable read. The characters are amazing and you feel as though you know them. You cannot help but love them. I loved this book. It was such a quick and spicy read. I read it in one sitting. Solace and Hallie had such amazing chemistry. I loved how all in Solace was for her. He was obsessive, sweet and she was it for him. Plus Solace was a goalie and that is a personal favorite of mine! I definitely recommend!

This is a short, but very well written steamy read.
I thought Hallie was a great character. She is fun and feisty, but knows when to hide and when to fight back. Solace is a quiet personality until he is on the rink. I loved his laser focus, especially he it is on Hallie.
