This book was a short read that I actually read while I did my nails. About an hour and a half give or take and I’m not gonna lie but when I found out the person who kidnapped Matthew I was shocked. It totally blew me out of the water.

I was assigned to read Lies as part of a Facebook book group I’m in. I was shocked by just how good this short novel was written and how many twists there were. If you are looking for a dark page-turner and you’re a fan of psychological fiction, this book by indie author Tina S. Transformation is a good choice. Recommended.

A quick read but packed full of angst.
Dr. Thorne is assigned by the court to evaluate perpetrators of alleged crimes. He excels at this even though he has suffered in the past, until the judge requires him to gain more information on one of his clients opening up a a whole can of worms, seeking answers and learning truths.
Your brain is working hard to work out the truths, this psychological fiction is well written and has a twist at the end 😬

Dr Thorne was faced daily with the dilemma of meeting new patients on a regular basis,
he also has his own hardships to deal with. Along with meeting a questionable patient and a patient who has anger issues caused by the loss of a family member.
Then comes the twist. You will never see coming.
I really enjoyed reading this book it kept me captivated with every page. Tina knows how to draw you into the story. And make you feel like you're watching a movie in your head.
I highly recommend this book if you're looking for a thriller with a twist. This one is it.

This story follows a psychiatrist who sees a lot of court appointed clients. The judge is suspicious of one in particular and requests special attention be paid to this one. While they and their assistant use some unconventional methods to research this client, they realize what twisted person they are dealing with. Twists and turns galore. Sometimes justice can be unconventional.
I won’t soon forget this story. It hit very close to home for me and couldn’t be happier with how this story played out. The pacing was great and kept me engaged. The underlying tones of the book helped me feel more attached to the story as well. It really can be a thinker. All in all, five stars from me and would recommend to nearly anyone. I do caution any new readers to check the trigger warnings before going in. It can get a little intense.

LIES is a story of accountability and justice. If you can’t hold yourself accountable, there are always people out there who can do it for ya.
These characters are working to expose some pretty significant lies and the liars that tell them, bringing forth justice for their victims. You have to be careful who you trust. A lot of people in positions of power tend to manipulate that power to get what they want!
Lying might not seem like a big deal to some, but oftentimes, it’s connected to things much more nefarious.
How far would you be willing to go to ensure they never hurt anyone ever again?
This book keeps you on your toes! That’s the main take away here for sure!

“Lies” is a dark psychological thriller that was easy to follow yet twisty enough that it was hard to predict what would happen next in the story. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, the author did a really good job with the individual personalities of each character. The villain…yikes. I won’t say too much for fear of giving spoilers but I was thinking about this character even when I wasn’t reading, hoping justice would be served. The short novel was packed with a lot of feeling, I could tell that the author took a lot of time and thought into constructing this story. Looking forward to reading more from her!

This is a dark, gripping thriller. I guarantee you won't be able to put it down. The suspense builds beautifully and you can't wait to see what happens next. For being a shorter read, you might expect there not to be much depth to the characters or plot. But that couldn't be further from the truth! You truly are immersed in their world and feel for them. I loved this book. The twist at the end is killer and I could not speak more highly of it and this book if I tried. If you love dark thrillers with twists to leave you speechless, you'll love this book!

Couldn't put it down!
I literally read this one in one sitting! For me, that's unusual because I usually just read for 20-30 minutes at a time. I did not want to stop!
This story is about revenge and what loss and grief can lead us to do. I truly thought I knew how it would end, but I was wrong. The ending was great. The story was very engaging. Definitely going to read more by Tina!

This book is gripping from the first page. I found it impossible to stop reading once I started, driven by a compelling need to discover what happened next. The writing was exemplary, and the multiple narrative perspectives were exceptionally easy to follow. I highly recommend to add this to your TBR list!!

Talk about a gripping, jaw dropping, twisted story. From the very beginning this story grabbed my attention and held it. The twist were so good and perfectly placed. I can admit that there was a point where I pieced together some of the story but the things that followed I did not see coming. Fantastic quick read.

Lies was a thriller that reminds readers that you never know who you can trust. This was a quick paced read with small chapters and multiple POVs, which I really liked and made it hard to put down. The main characters were relatable, the writing was very visual, and I really enjoyed the clever twists and that ending was SO good!!

I wish I could rate this higher but basic editing flaws and grammatical errors made this a frustrating read by the end. “Than” rather than “then” - repeatedly. Missing text messages. Missing ends to sentences. Sentences beginning lowercase… Good book in concept, flawed book in execution.

Read in one sitting! I freaking knew whodunnit and it didn't make it any less fantastic! From page one it grabs you in and holds you. Several POV's that are easy to follow and keep you on your toes. Great read.

Another incredible book by Tina S. Transformation! This was an excellent story with mystery, unpredictable twist and turns, and an edge of the seat story! I couldn't put this down and eventually ever page!

I was on the edge of my seat while reading this book the entire time, wondering where the next twist and turn would take me. If you're looking for something with hooks that won't let go till the bitter end, check this one out.
