*****Intended For Adults 18 & Older***** Is it better to have loved and lost or to have never loved at all? Sexy, successful and stylish, Autumn Jones believes in love. She believes in the all-consuming, mind blowing enormity of love. She believes in the euphoric state of loving and being loved. She believes in it because she’s had it once. And when it was lost, she was devastated, but she never stopped believing in the existence of love. Unwilling to settle, she learned from the past and moved on with the expectation that she’ll love again. Beautiful, talented, and slightly jaded, Summer Wilson believes in sex. She believes in the all-consuming, mind blowing enormity of good sex. She believes that love exists, but Prince Charming does not. At least not for her. She’s seen the downside of love—insanity, heartbreak, infidelity, divorce—and she dates with the expectation that she won’t ever subject herself to that type of vulnerability. Instead, she chooses to love her family, her friends, and her work. And although she enjoys the company of men, her heart is hers and hers alone. Best friends since elementary school, Autumn and Summer kick off the summer by embarking on a dating experiment. Unfortunately, expecting the unexpected doesn’t prepare them for what the dating world has in store.
5++ stars! Wow! Danielle Allen can bring the chemistry!

Closing the gap between us, he cradled my face. "If you were mine, I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off of you. There would be no mistaking that you were mine."
Autumn and Summer is the story of best friends who have decided that they're done with cheaters and mediocre men. The besties make a pact to arrange ten dates over the course one month for each other, agreeing to give up complete control in that department to the person who knows them best. They also can't be told any specific information about their chosen date, not even his real name until they meet in person. It all starts out as a fun little experiment brought up over drinks. Neither expected to find love that would change their lives.
Finding my voice I whispered, "Did you feel that?"
"I felt it the first day I met you."
Autumn & Summer is smart, sexy and impulsive. Not only can you get by with a little help from your friends, they can also lead you to true happiness!
Did I mention that it was a laugh out loud funny too.
My favorite moments involved:
Mega Bitch the Transformer
"Ryan Gosling, my ass."
Angry drunk texts about catfishing and booty calls!
I am a major Danielle Allen fan! Contact me about joining her street team and our group read of Autumn and Summer after the official release!
My first book by Danielle Allen and I was super impressed. I love that it was told from the point of view of both girls(Autumn & Summer, obviously;),who have remained friends throughout the years and nothing could possibly change that. I also loved that there were so many hot guys in this book, my head was spinning! (in the very best possible way, of course) Autumn and Summer was different than my usual reads as of late, which was a very good thing, and I look forward to more of Danielle's writing in the near future.
Autumn and Summer are besties, and I want in on that. Autumn can do my hair and makeup, and Summer and I can drink whiskey together. This needs to happen.
I saw a lot of myself in both girls, two strong, witty, and independent women. Autumn and I are a lot a like, the romantic book reader who's happy go lucky. But she's also smart about her love life, and tries to apply some level of foresight to her emotions. Her story actually had me the most excited to see what would come, who she would choose. There was a love triangle that didn't leave me feeling annoyed or frustrated. I totally understood where she was with both men. I should also note that I HATE LOVE TRIANGLES. This was not done in an angsty, dramatic way. It was perfection.
Summer is a whiskey drinking hardass cynic. To watch her get owned is a serious delight. She's been hurt, and she wants to protect herself, but man, she never sees him coming, and he knocks her on her ass in the absolute best way. Everything she thought about love was wrong, and watching as she figures out what she wants in her life is a fantastic journey.
I laughed and smiled through the entire book. It's absolutely adorable with a healthy helping of steam. If you're looking for a fun, happy read, I absolutely recommend Autumn and Summer!
I received an ARC for an honest review ,,, seriously gotta say straight off I bloody loved this book :)
This is a romance but from a different angle ,,, we have Autumn who is a total romantic, believes in love and HEAs ,,,, she wants a future ,,, but has been hurt by the person she thought would be her future ,,,she's been on dates but there's no sparks ,,, she so wants those sparks
We also have Autumns BFF Summer ,,, now she has totally different beliefs when it comes to love and relationships ,,, love doesn't exist and relationships are only worthwhile when the sex is good ,,, if he can't please then it's no longer needed ,,, Summer had been in a relationship with someone only to find out he had been sleeping with someone else ,,, she knew the relationship had run it's course before hand but this was the nail in the coffin ,,, not wanting to be in a mans shadow she wanting to start a fresh ,,,so she took a leap of faith ,,, and her life changed for the better ,,,
Summer and Autumn were tired of these dead end dates and the other always knowing it wasn't going to work so Summer thought of a plan ,,,surely it would work? Wouldn't it? ,,, summer gets to pick Autumn 10 dates and Autumn would pick Summers
Neither would know who they were dating but would willingly go along ,,, the idea would be to realise what it is that they were both 'really' looking for and the knew each other so well that it would probably work out ,,,, surely? ,,, what could go wrong?
Summer has met a guy that is HOT but he is taken but she can't get him out of her head ,,, one of her dates surely will be able to help? Won't they?
Autumn has a strong connection with two of her matches ,,, one she has never seen ,,, one she feels like she needs distance from ,,, but both pulling her in closer and closer ,,, will it work out with either? Will she make a decision who she wants and sees a future with? Will she find someone else? ,,, will the decision be taken out of her hands?
I've really enjoyed Danielle's work in the past with her other books and this one doesn't disappoint either ,,, it's brilliant and I couldn't put it down,,, I really enjoyed the different direction she took with this book ,,, it was refreshing to read something 'different' and 'new' but yet along the same lines as that of what I normally enjoy reading
I highly recommend this book ,,, I hope that there is more ,,, the characters are really cool and I'd love to hear more from them and the other background characters too :)
This book was amazing. It drew me in from page one. I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to know more about Summer, Autumn, Mr. Ford, Boris and Johnathan.
Summer doesn't do love. She doesn't believe in it. She is disappointed that she let herself commit to a lying jerk like Josh. Once he humiliates her she decides she needs a fresh start and moves in with her best friend Autumn. She is excited to start this new chapter in her life. She is hoping to get her dream job. She also doesn't want to date because apparently she only picks losers. But she can't stop bumping into the incredibly sexy Mr. Jones. She wants him, but thinks he is like all the other men she has dated. So she keeps pushing him away. Can she stay strong and walk away? Or will she succumb to his charm?
Autumn believes there is a Prince Charming out there for her. She is looking for him, but she isn't having any luck. She knows she needs to keep trying, but she hates hurting peoples feelings. So when Summer makes a proposition she can't refuse her. Autumn never expected to fall for two guys. She wants them both for different things they can give her. Will it all fall into place for her? Or will she end up losing them both?
This is an incredible story of love, friendship and finding your one true soul mate. I really enjoyed this story and cannot wait for more stories for the fabulous Danielle Allen! I need more BORIS!! He is MINE!! He will always have a special place in my heart.
I started reading Autumn & Summer one night and couldn’t put it down. By the time I hit fifty percent, I had already committed myself to a long night of reading. In the early morning hours, I shut my kindle a VERY happy girl.
Autumn and Summer is written in two girls POV’s. Best friends who are loyal to one another. It’s a refreshing change of pace that Danielle accomplished flawlessly. Instantly, I feel in love with both of them. Two completely different people, deciding to put their fate of love in the person they trust most in the world’s hands.
The guys in these books are amazing. Mr. Ford, Boris, Jordan, Max just to name a few. The reader is kept on their toes as the girls keep going on dates and begin to form relationships with some of the guys more than others. (NOTE: there is no cheating in this book). There is humor mixed in with heartwarming moments as two best friends try to find the perfect guy for each other.
I promise you, this is a MUST read!
Favorite Line: I don’t want to waste time on guys that don’t matter. I want to fall in love. I want butterfly inducing, heart racing, true love. I want to not be able to sleep because he’s on my mind. I want to dream about him when I finally do fall asleep. I wait it all.
What a fun read! Autumn and Summer are two women I would love to know, very few dull moments.
Dual POV- done beautifully- tells the story of how these two lifelong friends put their romantic life into the others hands in the hopes of finding the one.
Autumn is the hopeless romantic. Wants to be swept up and away. Refuses to settle for anything less. Her best friend Summer is just looking for Mr. Right Now. Scarred from her parents relationship she is sure “true love ” is a fairy tale. When each girl turns over the love reigns to the one person that knows them best it is game on!
The dates are one of the best parts of this book. I got as excited as the girls getting ready, and as disappointed when it didn’t go as planned.
For me the best love story in this story is the one between Autumn and Summer! Not romantic, but so steady and lifelong. The two of them are able to let go and be their true selves all the while letting go of their fear. And the men- holy hotness! Not an ugly one in the bunch. But as each girl realizes what and who is right for them the story gets even better!
This is a quirky, sweet and laugh out loud fun book. Serious moments abound, but not as huge drama, more like both women growing and coming into their own. Fantastic job!
I'm definitely a Danielle Allen fan, hands down! This is such a fun twist on love and romance. I loved it! The girls are both very relatable and I could find myself in each of them at different points in my life. I loved their bond and genuine care for each other. The game they play to find their fairytale provides soooo much entertainment! I found myself wishing I could be part of their challenge... (don't tell my very adorable, loving and romantic husband though!).
Oh the men in this book are extremely swoon worthy... HOT, STEAMY, SEXY... alluring! Danielle does a great job of blending New Adult Romance and a bit of Chick-Lit. Well done my friend!
There's a unique, clever and oh so very sly twist in this story that I am absolutely head over heels about!
Autumn & Summer, I just can't say enough good things about this book. Best friends Autumn & Summer have had their share of looser boyfriends. Now they have decide that maybe their pickers are bad LOL, and decide to let each other set the other up on 10 blind dates. Why or why didn't me and my friends come up with ideas this good when we were younger and single?
And the games begin, but things start going a little awry when Summer keeps running into the sexiest man on the plane, Xavier Ford, but believing he is in a relationship Summer does everything short of moving to another state to steer clear of Mr. Perfect, but fate has other plans.
I really enjoyed this book it had a good storyline, like a really good chick flick in a book. Summer Wilson and Autumn Jones, the two girls unlucky in love, decide that as they don't pick the right guys for themselves they'd each find the other 10 dates for the next month, with Summer now working for Style Magazine shooting pictures of the most eligible bachelor's she gets Autumn dates with most of them, lucky Autumn. I loved Summer's character, strong and feisty, I liked Autumn's character too but I looked forward to reading Summer's chapters more. I loved when Summer first laid eyes on Xavier and the encounters. A really enjoyable read, I'd definitely recommend it and would read more by this Author.
Autumn and Summer is a tale of two life long best friends taking control of each other's dating life, how fun would it be for your Best Friend to pick who you date especially with a friendship that's these two beautiful ladies have they are soul sisters no one knows them better than each other.
Summer is a talented photographer but she does not believe in love she like to have a good time and that's about it even though the has a boyfriend (due to his insisting they put a label on their relationship). She caught him with his pants around his ankles (shagging HER intern) yes the nerve of the dog. So like any self respecting women she tore up his office and walk away with her head held high I fell in love with her bad-ass personality from that moment, she is one awesome chick. When her best friend Summer emails her with a job advert, its an opportunity she cannot refuse so Autumn packs up her life and move to Virginia and in with Summer and thus a new chapter of her life beginning.
Summer is a hard working successful stunning women who believes in love, she felt a fraction of it once and has being looking for that feeling ever since with no success. Summer is a true romantic with an optimistic view on life.
Both women are embarking on change when Autumn suggest they hand over control to each other of their dating life for 30 days. Sounds like fun??? it sure as hell was interesting.
I have never read a story like this before and I loved it completely; its fresh, unique, fun, sexy, sweet, heart warming, and superbly written.
Danielle never fails to deliver a great story with down to earth loving characters, fashion to die for and did I mention the smocking HOT guys.....I didn't did I, well let me tell you Holy HOTNESS Danielle gives us more than a few mouth watering guys for us to Fantasize over. Mr Ford is charming, sexy, commanding, powerful and sexy as sin (I know I mention sexy already but he is bloody hot I'm trying to make a point) Jordan is an absolute sweet heart not only is he truly beautiful and breathtaking on the outside but also on the inside where it really matters, he had me in a constant swoon fest. Boris~ If you have read Danielle's previous work then you will figure out who this is plus he is burn down the building hot so I won't even go there. (Trust he its a lovely surprise/ treat)
Overall a good wholesome story with real values and lessons on life and love. I take my hat off to Danielle for coming up with such an original concept and the stiller execution. The book is written from both Summer and Autumn POV so you get to see every detail of their journey and outcome first hand. It's funny how they embarked on the same path but ended up with very different outcome.
This book reminded me that everything happens for a reason and God always has a plan for you not always the one you made for yourself so learning to adapt and re-evaluate your views on certain things is essential tools to navigate the choppy waters know as life. P.S you might need a change of underwear because we have some Flaming Red Hot scenes. Don't eat and drink whiles reading because there plenty of laugh out loud moments that will have you spilling all over your reading device.
You cannot go wrong with this book you get double the trouble, double the romance, more men then you will know what to do with, and two HEA.
So essentially you are getting two beautiful love stories for the price of one. 5 stars for Natasha I highly recommend
Summer and Autumn have been best friends since kindergarten and know each other better than they know themselves. Each woman has been unlucky in love.
After a break-up that also left her jobless, Summer relocates from NYC to DC to become a freelance photographer and move in with her bestie, Autumn. Realizing that the other tends to clearly see the flaws in the men they choose, they embark on a plan. Each woman will go on ten blind first-dates. But Summer's dates will be vetted and chosen by Autumn and vice versa.
I thought the premise and set up was rather interesting. Each woman has an alternating chapter told in her first person POV. And I was looking forward to seeing how the dating thing would play out. I thought I get some interesting stories and loads of entertainment out of a melange or good/bad/horrible/funny dates. Sadly, this did not happen.
Summer's chapters were much stronger and had felt more complete than Autumn's. With Summer we got to spend more time with her on her dates, I felt that the interaction and connection with the guy she ultimately ends up with was nicely explored, and we got to see her interact with other people outside of Autumn. We also got to watch her in her workplace.
Autumn's chapters, otoh, felt frustratingly surface. I didn't feel that we got anywhere near the character time or development with Autumn that we got with Summer. We never saw Autumn at work. In fact, it felt like Autumn spent the majority her time picking out outfits in her room, texting a lot and talking to Summer. Her very best chapter (and my biggest laugh in the book) was her first date with the guy she eventually ends up with. I didn't feel her relationship trajectory as deeply as I felt Summer's. Her chapters felt shorter, I didn't check to see if they were or not, but one of them for sure was...it was two sentences long. And we only got the most cursory introductions to her dares.
And finally, this book made liberal use of one of my narrative pet peeves -- the italicized inner dialog. There was LOT of it. At one point I wondered why it was so necessary when the women were already using first-person voice?
Hence I would characterize the book as pleasant enough, with Summer's story doing all the good heavy lifting. While Autumn's story was a big let down. In the end the book didn't feel as if it capitalized on it's intriguing premise.
Autumn and Summer is the third book by Danielle Allen that I’ve read and it is by far my favorite. The author didn’t include many flashbacks allowing the reader to easily follow along and get lost in the love/lust lives of the main characters. The subject matter was light, fun, and entertaining. If you can’t handle a steamy love scene or 2 or 4 you may have to skim over a few pages. I suggest a cold glass of water nearby during these moments, especially if you have a vivid imagination. The ending didn’t leave me breathless and wanting more like Back to Life and Back to Reality. I was okay with that because it felt complete, leaving me feeling positive about love. That’s all I can say without giving away the ending.
Summer and Autumn are best friends, who find themselves single and ready to mingle! Summer was free of her cheating boyfriend and no longer living her dreams under his shadow. However, she no longer saw love as an attainable goal, but she was open to having some fun. Autumn believes in love even after a not ideal break up with her ex-boyfriend. To make the wonderful world of dating a little more interesting, they had a mission to set each other up on blind dates in one month. The rules were simple they can’t use the dates real names or know what they would be doing on the date. My favorite matchmaker, Paul Brunson, would have approved of their idea. One of the best ways to meet “prince charming” is through a recommendation of a close friend. Way to make it realistic! Who knows what you’re looking for in a man better than your best friend since Kindergarten.
The book reminds us to not give up on the idea of love, that sometimes it can be right in front of your face. You’ll have to read the book to find out if they found love.
What to say about this book? Wow.. I can say that you never know what is around the corner in this one!!
Autumn and Summer are some crazy fly by the seat of their pants girls for sure. They are closer than sisters, although their happy endings are completely different. One not wanting a HEA and the other always looking for one. A realist and romantic don't usually mix but these two are stuck at the hip.
I loved Autumn because she's such a romantic and wanted so bad to help her realist bestie find true love.
Summer was such a mess from her ex hurting her so bad, that between her home life and her dating issues she was so done with love. After her ex broke it off Autumn received an email about an awesome photography job close to her. When she let Summer know, Summer packed everything up, settle business, drove six hours from Charlotte NC to Wellington MD to live with Autumn, and start anew. I loved that as soon as Summer was given the opportunity she said screw it i'm doing me and getting my butt out of here. She didn't stick around to wallow in self pity an longer.
The girls are tired of looking for their own men and not having any luck. Being that they know each other so well, they decided that they would find each other ten dates in thirty days. AND THE FUN BEGINS!! Autumn was so excited but Summer being the realist/pessimist she didn't think anything would become of their silly little game.
Will she ever be swept off her feet? Only your reading eyes will tell :)
I am absolutely in love with Danielle's work. In every book that she has written you are on the edge of your seat or relaxing and enjoying what unfolds or trying to keep from crying. AHHH!!! Wouldn't it be so enjoyable for authors to watch their readers and see what emotions they pull out of them? Danielle definitely knows how to make you fall in love, fall apart and fall back in place. Amazing author and amazing reading. Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your circle!! Five humongous stars have been granted :)
Autumn and Summer oh my goodness. These girls are what true friendship is all about. The sisterhood, the love for one another, the ability to lift each other up when they are down.
These two girls are an amazing pair. Autumn, is our hopeless romantic. She wants love. Wants her HEA. She craves it. Then we have Summer, shes ou carefree spirit. Live for today. Don't need love. Hot sex is fine thank you very much.
With their professional lives thriving they are happy. But, not complete. One wants to find her Prince Charming. The other just needs to get laid bad but being in a new city, she doesn't know many men.
So...the game is on. They agree to date 10 men, 10 first dates with different men, they set each other up on these dates. Gotta test the waters, you know the whole, let's keep our options open and what not. Sounds fun and easy, right?
Well they do set each other up on dates. Some are amazing some are busts. Either way, these girls are having fun AND getting to know what they like and are looking for in the opposite sex.
ENTER....Mr. Ford. HOLY SHIT... He turns Summer's world upside down and inside out. Seriously, YOU MUST MEET HIM.
ENTER... JORDAN and BORIS. Jordan is hot and Autumn is really into him but ummm yeah, HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!
BORIS... oh BORIS, how I fell for thee. Perfection. You will fall for him too. I promise.
These two girls took me on an adventure I will not soon forget. Danielle Allen, had me turning pages. I need to see what else my Besties were going to do or say. They are hilarious yet loving toward one another. I truly hope I get more. You blew me away girl. Loved it and honestly, it was an honor to have you trust me with your baby. EXCELLENT READ. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I look forward from more books by Danielle Allen
When things don't work out with Summer's job and relationship, her best friend Autumn helps her start fresh with a new job in a new city. In honor of new beginnings, Summer concocts a plan for her and Autumn to set each other up on 10 blind dates in hopes that going through some Mr. Right Nows will help them find Mr. Right.
Autumn and Summer is a cute light-hearted read about friendship and romance. It’s written from alternating perspectives of both Autumn and Summer, following them on these multiple dates and situations.
Although both Summer and Autumn narrate, Summer’s storyline was a little bigger and more entertaining. Summer is a sarcastic, spitfire who doesn’t really believe in love so it’s fun seeing her develop feelings and interact with her love interest. I think everyone who reads Autumn and Summer will really, really like Summer.
I wasn’t so sold on Autumn. Autumn is a sweet, hopeless romantic. I think my issue was she was too sweet, maybe too perfect. She lacked the complexity that Summer had. I liked her but I wasn’t as excited to read her chapters. As a side note, I’ve been trying more diverse romance and I’m really glad Autumn wasn’t an overly sassy stereotype. Her coyness was a bit refreshing.
I don't want to give anything away and talk about the guys but they were so sexy and it was fun living through Summer and Autumn and meeting so many of them. My favorite guys were definitely Mr. Ford and Boris.
I think Autumn and Summer is pretty easy to enjoy. I usually find friendship novels to be too sappy for my taste but the more I read the more the story grew on me. It was definitely cute and funny and super sexy at times. I'd definitely recommend it and I look forward to Danielle's future publications.
Danielle Allen hits it outta the ball part yet again with another five star book! Autumn and Summer was so different to her first two books yet it kept me stuck to it. I HATED having to put it down.
Autumn and Summer are two women in there late twenties who have been friends since they were in playschool. There have so much in common but are literally like chalk and cheese. But when Summer gets hurt by her toss pot boyfriend Autumn is there like always, with a shoulder to cry on and an open door for her to come running through.
Summer doesn't believe in all of this HEA nonsense. Even though she knew her relationship with the toss pot had run its course, who would want to be cheated on?
Were at Autumn believes in all the romance she knows is out there... So..... she comes up with a plan.... They will arrange 10 dates for each other. One month of handing over utter control of they love lifes. 10 dates, one month and they can no nothing real about there date before hand. So no cyber stalking is aloud.
Even Though it was Autumn's idea there both freaking out at this idea. But 'In for a penny in for a pound' They decide to give it there all.
Autumn connects with two of her 10 men, she literally goes from having no one to two men wanting her affection.....
Summer is all over the place when a chance encounter in an Elevator leaves her panting at the set of eyes that looks back at her when the doors open....
Danielle's books never fail to keep to keep me hooked! She has written 3 five star books in my eyes and I can only see her work getting better from here on out!
One month.... Ten dates..... See you on the flip side....
Autumn Jones is a hopeless romantic, but was crushed by who she thought was her one true love.
“You know that sleeping with a guy after the first date is not my thing. I have to get to know him before he can get all of this.”
Summer Wilson doesn’t believe in love; never has never will. However does believe in really great sex.
“None of the potential suitors were my type, but really, what is my type? Am I too picky?”
Now living together after Summer’s boyfriend cheated on her, Summer convinces Autumn that they need to choose men for each other, because as best friends, they always know when the other’s date is not the right one. For the next month, each woman needs to set her friend up on 10 first dates, blind dates. Do you trust your best friend enough to set you up on 10 blind dates?
“I know. That’s not. Your boyfriend.”
First, I have to say that this is the third book I have read from this author and it is SO much different from her first two. This is a funny, light-hearted, romantic story and I loved it. However, in all honesty, this author needs to consider writing erotica; that first chapter had me running for an ice bath, holy hell!! Beyond Danielle Allen’s gift for steamy romance scenes, her characters are funny, sweet and truly likable. I absolutely love Xavie;r he’s so much more than a hot, rich man. Autumn and Summer have an incredible relationship having been best friends for 24 years. There are a few other major characters, but I don’t want to spoil the story so I won’t mention anyone else by name, but I will say this is a MUST read. I give this book 5 stars and 3.5 hands down the pants. Come on Ms. Allen, give us some more S-E-X!!
I'm a huge fan of Danielle Allen and she didn't disappoint with Autumn and Summer. The story is unique and was unlike most of the books I've been reading lately.
Autumn and Summer are life long best friends. Autumn is looking for Mr. Right and Summer is looking for Mr. Right Now. Tired of dating the same kind of men they usually go for, Summer comes up with the idea of them setting up dates for the other. 10 first dates, in one month. We are taking a fun, funny, sexy ride while they look for men that could be what each want with a few little twists and surprises. The book was not overtly sexualized but it had a lot of scenes that gave me butterfly -induced feelings with some of the men (hello Xavier, Jordan and Boris...yum)which gave you hope that each of them find the man they were looking for. You could relate to both Summer and Autumn, which I loved. I could picture either one of them as my friend.
This was a great book that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a book about finding the one in the most unexpected way.
I enjoyed the story of Autumn and Summer, because they were both ambitious, independent women with careers. They were not afraid to step out in faith on the dating scene. The relationship between the two women reminded me of myself and a good friend of mine.
Summer and Xavier's relationship was intriguing from start to finish. I wish the author would have elaborated more on Autumn and Jordan's relationship. (Most of the focus was on Summer.) I'm happy that Autumn stood up for her beliefs at the end of the book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story, but is a realist at heart. Thanks Danielle Allen for ending the novel with the character's song playlist.
I will be honest I promised the Author that I would read and review this book. When I saw the cover I thought it was going to be F/F HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! It's totally not!!!
It is a story about best friends and their bright idea to find each others love of their lives. I loved how it is to different love stories! More bang for your buck :) And because of this it is not your normal love story.
I'm a big fan of Danielle's. I liked Autumn and Summer....it was so different than her other books. Some authors books all have the same feel to them but not her! She did great, Autumn and Summer take their love lives and puts them in each others hands. I love the different characters we meet along the journey. It was a fun and exciting journey too. wonderful job Danielle!
Very good read. A couple of things bothered me. 1. You never found out what Autumn's career was and 2. Summer and Xavier could have gotten together a long time before they did if Summer had asked him if he was single instead of running off every time they were together because... #maturity. Other than that I really liked it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Yeeeeaaah this book was great really great great but I found autumn too dry .But nothing would've stopped me from reading this book. Summer's tough character and her rollercoaster with Xavier became my favourite ..I was done for when Jordan was accused of a killer
