Famous but down to earth Rockstar Drew Morrison is finding harder and harder to keep his thoughts and hands-off Ashley Emmit – who has joined his tour to work on a college project, the daughter of his old professor she’s totally off limits – now if only he could remember that. Ashley for her part finds herself deeply drawn to Drew – as an artist his music touches her deeply and as a man, well, she finds herself questioning the rules she has been following for so long.

Reading this so close after Love me like this (book 3 in the series) it’s clear leaving a big breaking in between reading Belle Andre’s books is best for me, otherwise things start feeling a tad too similar/repetitive. The tone of the book was super light and easy – there is no potent degree of emotion and tension, not necessarily a bad thing, but after reading book 3 before this I needed something with a bit of bite to it. This one won’t be going into my re-read pile.

Bella Andre surprises me every time that I read one of her books. Ashley and Drew’s story definitely bordered on Adult. And, if it wasn’t for their ages, it was hot enough to definitely have made it into that genre.

Strong, sexy, loving … a musician with a heart of gold … a man with more passion than he can put into words. Drew Morrison is the proverbial rock star surrounded by beautiful woman and a family that will support him in all his endeavors. The lyrics and music have gone since the loss of his mom. Then Ashley enters his life bringing back the sunshine, the music … gives him the courage to follow his heart and not give up on the kind of music that is just itching to come out.

Shy, bookworm, analytical Ashley can’t believe that she will be with the one man that she has had a crush on forever. Touring with Drew to learn the music business is a chance of a lifetime, now to tame her libido and concentrate on getting into Stanford.

What neither of them counted on was, not only the physical attraction, but the emotional attachment that blossomed between them. They grew, they found their inner strengths and, together, fought their weaknesses and fears. When they did come together, it was explosive and one of the hottest scenes I have read in a long time.

Bella, no matter the genre, writes characters that are totally endearing yet hot, sexual and strong … both in spirit and in inner strength. She crosses the line between the Sullivan’s and Morrison’s with ease, brings them together when needed but still writes a unique and totally captivating story totally separate and different from previous stories. It amazes me that she can continue the stories of both families with new, fresh ideas and story lines. Each book can be read as a stand-alone but you would be missing out on some beautifully written, loving books that will totally put a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

Second book about the Morrison siblings featuring Drew Morrison a rock star. Ashley is hoping to be accepted to stanford's business school, she's already been rejected as she has no practical experience. Drew used to be one of Ashley's father's students and asks Drew to allow Ashley to go on tour with them. When Drew first sets eyes on Ashley he's totally overwhelmed by her beauty, but once he gets to know her her easygoing personality just clicks with him, but he's promised her father to keep her safe, so it's hands off.

The premise of this story was interesting except I didn't get how going on tour with Drew would help her business project. Surely she would have done better to work with his management team. Some of the suggestions she made to Drew I felt a 12 year old could have come up with. The reason I've given this a low star rating is because it's meant to be a N/A story except it read more like a Y/A apart from the sex scenes the rest reads like it's aimed at a much younger audience. I was expecting something more, some angst, drama instead of the almost sickly sweet dialogue. Drew was an okay character no way was he alpha he certainly didn't seem like a hell raising rock star who had more than his share of women. As for Ashley she was constantly second guessing herself she rather irritated me. So this just wasn't for me.

This was an incredible read. This is the second book of the Morrisons Series by Bella Andre. In this book, the story revolves around the romance of Drew and Ashley. Drew is a rock star, and he is protective, loving and sexy. He has a big heart especially when it comes to his family and Ashley. Ashley is the daughter of Drew’s former teacher. She is joining Drew on his tour to gain experience, so that she can enter Stanford Business School. They try to deny the sexual tension between them, but it doesn’t work. I thought that the romance was perfect. I thought they had amazing chemistry. I just wished the epilogue was more about them. However, I am excited to see what happens to Justin after that ending. I cannot wait. Overall, an amazing read.

Bella Andre never fails to disappoint. In the second book to the Morrisons series, TEMPT ME LIKE THIS is a sweet burn between Drew Morrison and Ashley Emmit.

When Ashley doesn’t get accepted in her first-choice school, she pulls some strings and lands herself on tour with the biggest rock star. But she doesn’t actually expect to get up close and personal with Drew quite like this. When they begin to share a tour bus together, it’s game over. Ashley cannot resist Drew’s charm any more than she is able to enjoy his music. Both become inspired by one another and Andre weaves a sweet tale that will no doubt sweep reader’s off their feet.

What I like about Andre’s writing is that you always know what you are getting. Although this is a New Adult series, Andre keeps to her brand of heroes. She likes them sweet and charming, with that mysterious edge that makes them so irresistible. It’s why all her heroes to date have been so fun and delicious. She just knows how to cater to her readers.

This also isn’t Andre’s first time writing about rockstars. Her Sullivans series feature a couple of famous people as well but I think the real inspiration comes from Andre’s own experience as a musical artist. It’s nice to see how she is able to incorporate those experiences into her books as I think it gives it something more to look forward to.

I’ve been really enjoying this series and cannot wait to see what else is in store for the Morrisons!

The first Bella Andre book that was a waste of time reading. Far too pucky sweet. Compared to the first Sullivan books this was boring I struggled to finish.

This one was very sweet. I liked how both Drew and Ashley slowly got to know each other, how Drew tried to do the right thing by fighting his attraction to Ashley. Even better was that he didn't become a manwhore doing it, but let her know it was because he respected her and her father.

For me the highlight of this one was when Drew's family came to visit him for his birthday. It was fun to see them interact as a group and for all of them to realize that Drew and Ashley were more than what they admitted to.

I was so excited for Drew's book however this just didn't work for me at all and that was mostly due to Ashley. She was unbelievably naive and over-the-top innocent. It also made me feel disconnected from the story to learn that they'd met each other prior to the book starting and already had feelings for one another. This was probably the first Bella Andre book that I DNF'd. I might come back to it later.

Bella Andre is one of my go-to authors and although I enjoyed the story, I really didn't like Ashley. For an intelligent, supposedly independent (that's one thing that Drew loves about her) woman, she's incredibly immature for a twenty-two-year-old and too concerned with what daddy will think about her feelings for Drew. I had a hard time believing that Drew would tolerate Ashley putting daddy's feelings ahead of his and even her own. This was a strange conflict to put at the heart of the story.

Drew and Ashley story was absolutely incredible. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I love how she was able to spread her wings out in the road. And Drew was able to open up to her after the year he has had. This story was spectacular and enjoyed this some much. The Morrison clan is becoming one of my favorites.

I did enjoy this story, I really like Drew and the Morrison family as a whole, and Ashley was nice. I must admit I wasn't sure how they would fit together, but then again Drew isn't your normal rock star! or should I say not what I was expecting, or the type I usually read about.

However the story itself was sweet, and at times hot but certainly more sedate than other Rock Star stories and Bella Andres Sullivan series. Although this story is more about opposites attracting, a family grieving, first time love and much more. Than Drew being a famous rock star, and his friendship then relationship with Ashley was nice to read. I did though struggle with Ashley's dads issues, when he found out her and Drew were dating, especially knowing Drew and the Morrison family as he did.

Overall this was a good read, and one I would recommend and could easily be read as a standalone, but you would probably get more enjoyment if you read Sean's story first.

"Tempt Me Like This" erzählt eine im Großen und Ganzen leichte, lockere Liebesgeschichte. Das heißt nicht, dass es keine Konflikte oder Probleme gibt, im Gegenteil - Drews Trauer um seine kürzlich verstorbene Mutter spielt für die Geschichte eine große Rolle und gerade Ashley hat in Bezug auf die romantische Beziehung zwischen ihnen mit einigen Unsicherheiten zu kämpfen. Insgesamt ist das Buch trotzdem eine sehr angenehme Lektüre für zwischendurch und es kann auf jeden Fall als 'süß' und teilweise fast schon kitschig bezeichnet werden.

Drew und Ashley fühlen sich sehr schnell sehr heftig zueinander hingezogen, doch die Autorin baut zunächst die emotionale Verbindung zwischen ihnen aus, bevor sie miteinander intim werden. Sie vertrauen einander persönliche Dinge an, können über ernste Themen reden und einander Halt geben. Dazu kommt, dass sie sich in der Gegenwart des anderen sehr wohl fühlen und mehr gemeinsam haben, als sie zu Beginn vermutet hätten. Mir hat gut gefallen, dass sie erst Freunde wurden, bevor sie zusammen gekommen sind, auch wenn die körperliche Anziehung die ganze Zeit präsent war und man gespürt hat, dass beide gerne mehr wollen. Die Entwicklung der großen romantischen Gefühle geht vielleicht etwas schnell, aber Andre hat das für mich glaubwürdig dargestellt und es hat zu der generell eher süßen Liebesgeschichte gepasst. Ich fand das größte Hindernis für die Beziehung der beiden - dass Drew ihrem Vater versprochen hat, er würde sie nicht anfassen - nicht wirklich überzeugend, wobei aus der Sicht der Charaktere wohl verständlich war​, dass sie ihn nicht enttäuschen wollten. Allerdings wurde das Problem dann am Ende etwas zu schnell abgearbeitet, wobei das nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist. Zudem muss ich sagen, dass es in der zweiten Hälfte fast schon zu viele Sexszenen gab.

Am Anfang hatte ich ein paar Probleme mit der Protagonistin, die immerhin schon 22 Jahre alt ist, auf mich allerdings jünger und recht naiv wirkte. Das lässt sich jedoch mit ihrer Unerfahrenheit und ihrem bisher sehr behüteten Leben erklären und im Laufe der Handlung macht sie definitiv eine Entwicklung durch, sodass sie mir sympathisch wurde. Drew mochte ich ebenfalls gerne. Er ist nicht unbedingt der typische Rockstar, da es mittlerweile einige Seiten an seinem Beruf gibt, mit denen er sich nicht richtig wohl fühlt, doch die Musik spielt für die Geschichte eine große Rolle und das fand ich wirklich gut. Gefallen hat mir, dass nicht nur die Konzerte und das Schreiben von Liedern selbst thematisiert wurde, sondern auch die harte Arbeit mit dem Management und welche Auswirkungen alle Termine auf sein Leben haben.

"Tempt Me Like This" bekommt von mir 3,5/5 Sternen. Es ist eine schöne Lektüre für zwischendurch, die Charaktere sind sympathisch, die Liebesgeschichte ist zwar etwas kitschig, aber insgesamt überzeugend; außerdem macht der Epilog neugierig auf mehr, da hier die Protagonisten des dritten Bandes vorgestellt werden, sodass ich die Reihe weiter verfolgen werde.

Bella Andre's * Temp me like this - Die Morrisons 2 * ist wie man sich denken kann, der zweite Teil über die Familie Morrison. Diesmal dreht sich alles um Drew, den gefeierten und erfolgreichen Rockstar.
Er hat seinem alten Professor versprochen, dessen einzige Tochter Ashley mit auf Tournee zu nehmen und gut auf sie aufzupassen. Ashley möchte genauer hinter die Kulissen des Musikbusiness schauen, denn sie möchte gern an die Standort Business School. Allerdings ist sie auch ein riesen Fan von Drew und dessen Musik hat sie durch schwere Zeiten geleitet....
Mein Fazit, Bella Andre's wunderbare Art zu schreiben hat man ja schon in einigen anderen Büchern kennen lernen können. Sie schaffte es mich zu fesseln und ich konnte leicht in die Geschichte eintauchen und habe Seite um Seite verschlungen.
Die liebenswerte Art der Protagonisten und die angenehme Atmosphäre die sie in dem Roman geschaffen hat, hat es mir einfach gemacht mich völlig fallen zu lassen . Der Roman ist witzig, hat einige nicht vorhersehbare Wendungen und natürlich auch wundervoll erotische Szenen.
Das Cover ist wieder schön gestaltet und passt meiner Meinung nach auch sehr gut zum Vorgänger.

Er hat ihrem Vater versprochen sie während der Tournee zu beschützen, zwischen den Zeilen konnte man heraushören, dass beschützen auch gleichgesetzt wird, mit nicht anfassen.
Was an sich kein Problem sein sollte, stellt sich als größte Herausforderung dar, als Drew Ashley das erste Mal begegnet. Drew nimmt sie mit auf seine Tournee, Ashley will alles hautnah miterleben und für ihr Studium recherchieren, nur dass sie beide die ganze Zeit gegen ihre gegenseitig Anziehung kämpfen müssen, damit hat keiner der beiden gerechnet. Die endlosen Gespräche tun ihr übriges, denn umso besser sie sich kennenlernen, umso schwieriger wird es sich nicht zu berühren, oder zu küssen.
Doch die Leben der beiden sind so unterschiedlich, dass vor allem Ashley stark daran zweifelt, dass eine Beziehung zwischen ihnen klappen könnte.

Ich gebe es zu, ich liebe alle Bücher von Bella Andre und auch hier bin ich wieder voll und ganz von ihrer Geschichte überzeugt. Ich liebe den Zusammenhalt der Familie Morrison und die Verknüpfungen, die zu den Sullivans gezogen werden. So hat man immer das Gefühl selbst zu der großen Familie dazuzugehören, weil sie nie ganz aus dem Gedächtnis gelöscht werden, sie sind immer Teil von Bella Andre‘s Geschichten.

Den lockeren, flüssigen Schreibstil der Autorin mochte ich schon immer und war auch hier wieder vorhanden.

Ich kann die Bücher, und auch diese neue Reihe, von Bella nur jedem empfehlen, der eine schöne Liebestory lesen möchte, mit geschmackvollen erotischen Szenen und ganz viel Herz ❤️

Meine Meinung:
Das Buch ist so schön. Ich hätte noch ewig weiter lesen können. Ash und Drew sind beide unheimlich sympatisch. Es war so toll die Entwicklung von Ashley zu beobachten.
Der Schreibstil der Autorin hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Sie schreibt sehr angenehm und flüssig und sehr emotional.
Ich hoffe, dass es bald mit Teil 3 der Reihe weiter geht.

Fazit: absolute Kauf- und Leseempfehlung!!!

Drew Morrison is a rock star. Really. He’s a rock star. And he’s enjoyed it. He went to Stanford, then became a rock star. Now his band is going back out on tour, and this time he will have a tag-along. Ashley is trying to get into a graduate program at Stanford Business School, and needs to see the inner workings of a rock band on tour for her proposal. Drew has promised Ashley’s dad (one of his former professors) that he will return her untouched by the world of rock and roll. Sounds like a great plan, until Drew and Ashley actually meet. The sparks fly and their chemistry is off the charts. Drew tries to keep her off limits, but he’s not very successful. Things move really fast in the world of rock and roll, and they move really fast in this story, too. Jump on in and enjoy a behind the scenes look!

One of the best things about a Bella Andre book is the way she weaves into the story the powerful and gripping emotions that her characters are feeling. You just "get it" and identity with those characters as they struggle through pain, sorrow, despair and misunderstandings and rejoice with them in their triumphs, elation, passion and love.

Drew and Ashley's story makes you root for them through all the good, the bad, the misunderstandings, the heartbreak and the live. They try to build a relationship amid the constraints of his career, the machinations of big business and the unfair conditions and expectations put upon them by a parent who is heavily prejudiced. Ashley's view of relationships is tainted by her parents unhappy often at odds marriage. How can Drew, an important somebody want her, an every day nobody? To Drew's way of thinking...how can he not?

In Temp me like this - Die Morrisons 2 dreht es sich diesmal um Drew, den Rockstar und Ashley die eigentlich so gar nicht zu ihm und zum Musikbuisness passt.
Schon auf den ersten Seiten, hat mich das Buch in seinen Bann gezogen. Genau wie auch der erste Teil ist dieses Buch toll. Die Charaktere sympatisch und sehr gut ausgearbeitet, das Setting bildlich beschrieben und die Gefühle einfach gut rübergebracht.

Bella Andre hat eine wunderbare Art zu schreiben. Sie schaffte es mich zu fesseln und ich konnte leicht in die Geschichte eintauchen und habe Seite um Seite verschlungen.

Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Band und hoffe es ist nun der andere Zwilling dran :)

I have been a big fan of Bella Andre's books. Read all of the Sullivan series and now this series of the Morris ons. I enjoy how the characters pop up from the Sullivans book, (if you've not already read the Sullivans series then you should) although the books are single novels you must red them in the correct order otherwise you end up knowing which characters become a couple.

The best thing about these books is that it helps me relax after a long stressful day where I can just unwind.

Each character is different with a different personality from the last book which makes them more interesting.

Ashley and Drew
