Ben Mitchell, had been the guitarist with Uni-Fi for what seemed like forever. He'd worked hard and seen the band grow to mega stardom over the last few years. It took just one afternoon to watch everything he had worked so hard for, disappear before his eyes. As his career fell apart around him, Ben knew of only one thing he needed to remain a constant in his life. Convincing her of that was going to be a whole other ball game. Izzie Carter, met Ben at the tender age of four. Her brother's best friend soon became her idol, her companion, her soul mate. Was she going to fall in love with him? No way, not ever, well maybe, when that revolving door to his hotel room stopped spinning. Can Ben, make Izzie, realise he is worth the risk?
I live in the North of England with my husband and two of my three children. The eldest having flown the nest.
Dancing In The Rain was my first novel and was published in February 2013. My second book, Taking A Risk, a rock star romance novel tells the story of Alex Carter, lead singer of one of the biggest rock bands around, released in 2013.
Hopefully there will be many more books to follow once I quit messing around on all those social networking sites!
This is part of The Risk series but can be read as a stand alone. Ben and Izzy have been best friends since they were young they've been a constant in each other's life but when Bens life crumble down around him , he must convince her to stay cause if he loses her he's lost everything.
Although this is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone as it is not a straight run on from the first book. This book surrounds Ben and Izzy's relationship or rather lack of it. Ben wants something more permanent but Izzy does not want to commit. Another easy to read book that I read in one sitting. One click this author today.
Before starting this review im calling DIBS for Ben ...mine mine mine Now I can begin, I got an arc for honest review, but honestly, I dont know how to review this book, how to put my feelings in words. It's perfect, absolutely perfection.
***** 5 TINK STARS *****

The book start with a taste from the past and then the first chapter skip to the present, the writing is refrashing.
This book was good enough that I read it in 1 day but with that being said there were a couple of things that made me rate this book lower than I usually do. The reason Iz kept holding back on committing to Ben was because of that 1 night that she went to him & the window was locked but yet when he told her the reason for it there wasn't anything else said about it. Her commitment fear centered on this one act but yet nothing was said once Ben told her the reason & then to top it off he said that he knew about her not being able to get in that night & never said anything to her at that time!! And then at the end when all of a sudden Harley was mentioned...what the heck! Did Alex & Grace get married?
Ben was an extremely thoughtful & caring person most of the time and I think many would be happy to have a "Ben" in their life. So you did have a lot of ahhhh moments. Unless the author does a follow up with all 3 of the guys this series was sort of a let down.
