Oh my gosh this book is fantastic and that’s saying something I that book 1 was awesome but this one takes the cake in my opinion! I love every second I couldn’t stop laughing the characters are amazing with so much intense energy with sparks going everywhere both good and bad. The way Tess kept messing with the (biker) and her strong willed attitude kept me at the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. :) it definitely gives of enemies to lovers vibes plus the steamy attention these two have every time they are close will have you needing something cold to drink I couldn’t get enough! I can’t believe all the crazy things Jake the chicken and the other farm animals they definitely keep you safe and somewhat crazy overall there are plenty of hilarious moments in this story! Plus some family drama that makes me want to me punch somebody, adorable little girl who knows a lot more than a five year old normal does at her ago and so much more wonderful stuff in this book. In my opinion it’s a page turner, action packed, unexpected feelings, unpredictable outcomes, lots of conflict, a all nighter kind of read, heartfelt moments, some tear jerky moments, and amazing ending!! I can’t wait for book 3 this author has me hooked on this series it’s in my favorites list:) I really hope book 3 is about the side characters Mack and Paige:)

This is a fun Rom Com with spice and shenanigans. The characters were layered. For example, Tess was a haughty brat sometimes, but there were valid reasons why, and she was a good friend. Also, Case (whose name is a little on the nose) was conflicted about his time undercover with a 1% motorcycle club and the things he had to do during.
She is a romance lover whose soon-to-be ex cheated on her and is financially taking her to the cleaners (there’s a bit of coincidence what happened to him, which, although satisfying, was a little too convenient). Case is trying to get custody of his young daughter, and his parents are contesting it. So there’s definitely some conflict besides the neighbor-neighbor dispute. But the book is mostly lighthearted, and it’s cute and fun.

Tess is starting over. Her worthless husband cheated on her and tried to make it all her fault. She is an author. That is how she makes her living. He just mocked off her. Case Callen is trying to get custody of his daughter. Problem: his parents are fighting for custody as well. Even worse, the judge keeps throwing his undercover job in his face. He did his time and made the arrest. He isn’t about to let his selfish parents ruin Reece’s world. He plans to fight for her.

Things take a turn in both Tess and Case’s life. When these two meet, there is an attraction. Problem: misunderstanding about who he is and accusations that aren’t even true. I wanted to bang my head with the amount of times Mack and Tess got into it. Case’s parents are a piece of work. These are rich people that have too much money and less care for anyone. I wanted to scream about that. If it wasn’t for her bestie Paige, things would have tanked. Thank goodness Case also had an open heart. His daughter loved Tess and she would never hurt that little girl.

This was a well-written book with great well thought out multidimensional characters. One of the things I really enjoyed about this story was that both Case and Tessa have both positive and negative qualities as people. Neither is a complete saint or sinner as far as the storyline goes and although they have a sexual connection that is smoking hot there is much more depth and character development than your typical romance.

If you are looking for a read with spice, where you will be able to get into both the story and invested in the characters and their development as people, Sunshine is the way to go. If you are looking for more of a surface read that is more just smut without much of a plot or one-dimensional characters it is not for you. As someone who enjoys substance and to be kept engaged and guessing while also enjoying my spicy reads this hit the spot.

While it is listed as the second half a duet, this is about a different couple. Case Cullen has spent five years undercover and is trying to obtain custody of his five year old daughter. His parents have filed paperwork stating he is unfit but he is determined the will not mess up his daughter's life.

Tessa is a romance writer that came home to find her husband with another woman. She is in the middle of a divorce and the judge has tied up her money leaving her no other choice but to head to her grandmother's house.

She and Case class from the first moment but it is more like foreplay. The more she pushes the more he wants to spank her. I loved the interaction between the two of them. It was all fun and games until his parents started having photos being taken and someone is determined cause trouble between the two of them.

This is a very steamy read with plenty of drama, a man and his brat.

I really felt bad for Tessa... discovering what she did in the manner in which she did would have made anyone angry and vengeful. But then she took her bad mood out on an innocent - yes, no one wants to be woken as she did, and no one wants to listen to the banging and clashing before what is considered daytime, but that is no excuse for some of the antics she pulled. Her actions could have really damaged the reputation of one who had nothing to do with her douche-ex. Cain may have taken her attitude and sass in stride, but that is due to his own outlook. Tessa grew on me but that was more because of how Cain handled her mischief and how she reacted after learning more about the man next door.

What an absolutely wonderful story, I laughed, and of course there were some tearjerking moments, but the antics between Tess and Case will have you coming back for more. I loved the drama and the wild antics of Tess and how Case took it in his stride and made Tess his. I loved how there was the background of each characters journey through the story and highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good story with spice and a touch of brattiness.

Sunshine definitely needed a paddling. I admit I enjoyed the antics of both the characters, but Tess went overboard with her acts of revenge. Case had more patience than any book boyfriend I have read about before. I had to laugh at Jake and some of the unfiltered comments out of Tess's mouth.
Case Callen was undercover, and when his assignment was over, his activities should have still been kept under wraps to keep him and his family safe, and yet, it was common knowledge for everyone to know.

A peek into the life of a sassy romance writer.

The humour is outstanding, with clever repartee and sassy shenanigans. Tess has a wonderful strong personality with select tender character traits. I really had fun with this story.

I enjoyed seeing Case as a dedicated father versus his mc persona, Python. His protectiveness and caring to those dearest to him is refreshing.

There is a bit of an unknown in this book, a little danger, a little suspense, an little something to keep you thinking.

I had to get into it, The first chapters took a bit too long to get to the true nature of the story. Personally, I would have liked it better if that part was spread out a bit more as flashbacks. After putting the book aside for a few days and starting over again, it started to look better.
When the story really started, there was a turnaround a nice story and I will definitely try another book of hers.

I thought Tess was a nice personality and eventually, after those first chapters, nice to read her story

Giggle, Love, and Spice Kara Kelley has written two books in what I hope will be an ongoing series. The first book was spectacular and this book is even better. Both stories are standalones and not to be missed. Sunshine provides giggles, brattiness and plenty of loving spice to Tess and Case along the road road to a Happy Ever After.

I liked this story. It draws the reader into the emotional roller coaster of Tess who is going through a messy divorce and Case who is fighting for his daughter. I loved how this story is written from different characters view points. I enjoyed the developing relationship and hot erotic sexy scenes between Tess and Case. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am leaving an honest review. The reader might need tissues this well written and well described enjoyable story, I did.

This is my first Kara Kelley book. I wasn't disappointed. I loved that the books characters were very well rounded. The banter between the MFL Tess and the MML Case was entertaining. Tess was sassy and bratty which added to the spiciness of the storyline. The storyline also had a personal journey for each character which added to this books charm.
This book is a must read!

What a wonderful surprise !
The author is quite new to me (I have only read Babydoll, the first book in this series) and I absolutely love her writing.
This book has a very different vibe, it is very very funny and I loved spending time in Tess's mind ! The neighbors to enemies to lovers is done to perfection and I will follow the author closely in the future !

Tess has a story full.of heartbreak, and tear filled moments. Tess is a strong character with as just a strong personality. It was interesting seeing Tess go through her messy journey with Case.
