Risqué Fae #5

Delicious Undoings

Rate this book
The sensual tale of the mortal, Del, and his fae affairs continue in Book 5 of Risqué Delicious Undoings. Carnal threesomes, a lustful elixir, and danger haunts the pages of this novella, promising an explicit and thrilling adventure.

Titus and Del travel to the Mortal Realm where Del is confronted by his family and things go terribly awry, bringing about a deep winter and an impenetrable wall of thorns. Del and his family are now captive within their own home, and the possessive fragrance of the holly lulls Del into a lewd dream where he can live out his wildest fantasies. His body and mind are lost to a hedonist magic that won’t let him go, even though Del knows that Titus may die if he doesn’t force himself awake.

Venture has grown distant, but Del and Titus are closer than ever, their passion for one another nearly as strong as their love.

Does Del have what it takes to save his family and Titus on his own? Or will Del be undone by his own delicious dreams?

Magic, so much magic happens here. Wonderful. And so many exciting things happen. My heart was beating so fast, I could hardly read it quickly enough.
I was so pumped up with adrenaline, my goodness. And then that ending... shocking in the very best way.
If you've read this far, you should definitely make sure you have the last book ready, because you won't want to stop here.
Geeeeezzzzz, so beautiful!
And when it comes to sex, well, let yourself be surprised... deliciously kinky...

Titus was an animal in bed, and Del had a hard time keeping up with the other’s libido. The sex was always amazing, but asking for a break when they were already two orgasms into the night was always met with a flattering reluctance from Titus. 🤭♥️🤭

The cliffhanger is so evil 😅 I need to read the grand finale right away.

I didn’t pick this 88 pager up right after the last one (got distracted by some audiobooks), but once I started reading it in earnest, I couldn’t put it down.

After getting too close in the previous book, Venture distanced himself a bit from Del - and Del turned to Titus. All is well, until Del decides to try and magic his way back home to visit his family, to assure them he’s ok - and to introduce them to Titus.

Unsurprisingly, things don’t go as planned - and without spoiling the plot, it looks like Venture is ready to burn the world down 😳

4.5 stars to this one - rounded down because I really wasn’t into that one sex scene at all (you’ll know which one I mean once you read it…).

What I really admire about this author though: the love and care they put into developing the magic, the way fae lore is interpreted, down to the spells cast in Sylvan, the fae language 🩷

I'm impressed how the author keeps throwing plot twist after plot twist at Del, never letting me glimpse a possible positive outcome, and constantly changing my view of Del's predicament.
This installment focuses more on magic and spells, less on sex, and I ate it all up anyway.

Can't wait to see how the author twists reality yet again in the next (last!) installment TO GIVE ME MY HARD EARNED HEA. Well.. obviously Del's hea and Titus's hea and Venture's hea.... so sorry, I'm a little bit overwhelmed. Because at the moment a future for these three seems impossible.

Ps the books in this series are 65-80 pages - novellas, and have the feel of one big fantasy-romance (erotica) split up in 6 installments.
