Well, I have to say, this was one. wild. ride. So much manipulation, abuse, and sex! The two fellas I had the hardest time with had the most intense personalities. Mana and Bowen. One minute I really hated Mana, the next I’m feeling bad for him, then he does something messed up ahhh-GAIN, then he redeems his self, THEN…And Bowen—what a complex, disturbed, sad soul he is. If you’re looking for twists and turns you aren’t expecting, a FMC that develops a spine along the way, and your morally black MMCs to shift to a dark gray, and your spicy times spicy (especially the ones toward the end!) this book is for you and worth the read!

Get ready for a ride with this, because it’s gonna be a wild one. This book was so twisted and dark…it was freaking crazy! And I loved every. Single. Minute. Off . It. I was down for the smut, the craziness, and everything else that came with it. I devoured this bad boy in one sitting. The characters were off the hook. The story itself was wicked. There’s truly no words to describe how awesomely delicious this was.

Sinner's End by Jade Marshall and Raven Hush is a dark why choose paranormal romance. I should've loved everything about this book but unfortunately a lot of things fell short, in my opinion. I could definitely see the potential the characters and story had but it just wasn't enough for me to make me like it all more or give it a higher rating. It's really too bad because the book in general is absolutely right up my alley, yet the execution wasn't enough.

First I want to talk about the positive things because they might want to make other readers pick up the book even though it wasn't one for me. I loved the overall dark atmosphere throughout the book. The ambience of the story could definitely be described as shadowy and even gloomy, which I enjoy in the books I read. The next thing I loved were the steamy scenes which often were in the reverse harem style. I love a good why choose romance and as far as hotness goes, the authors wrote some scorching hot sex scenes. This brings me to the following that I enjoyed reading about. The male main characters (Mana, Kaleb, Lethe, Bowen) were unhinged, just the way I like the characters I read about to be. I think Bowen was my favorite out of them all, although Lethe comes close as well.

Now I'll go into the things that didn't work as much for me. As much as I did love the male characters, I think I would've liked the book more if the characters, Adreanna (the female main character) included were much more developed. I felt like I was only seeing the surface of them and that was really too bad. More world-building in general would've also made this book so much greater. I felt like I was missing a whole bunch of information when I started the book and was quite confused for a long time. Some scenes and the plot moved way too fast to really grasp what the story was all about. I also didn't love Adreanna as much as I wanted. I didn't understand why she fell for the men as fast as she did. Lusting for them was fine for me but she fell in love with them so very fast. To be fair, I am more of a slow burn girlie but still... I also couldn't understand why her twin sister Emma was written in such an almost comically evil twin kind of way. That just bothered me a little for some reason.

The epilogue was pretty intriguing, I must admit. But I don't think it was enough for me to want to read the second book, knowing everything from this first one. I'm sure other readers will enjoy it more than I did, especially if they're into sexy angels and demons.

A new series and dark themed. This was a gritty read and has a group of characters, with the why choose theme. Adreanna is a twin, sees herself as the responsible one. She ends up at a party at an asylum and her life changes.
Our MMC's are Mana, a demon, who's blood has effects! There's also Kaleb, Lethe and Bowen. It's an intense read but one I couldn't put down and had to finish in one sitting. In many ways, I find it can be quite refreshing to read such books, to escape the world and life events.

This is definitely a dark PNR/Why Choose story. I loved the grit and snarky personality of the FMC. Her sister was a real tool and brought a love/hate character to the plot. Trying to figure out what each male character was supposed to be was a mystery. Their development throughout the story was unique. I still don't know what Kaleb was. Bowen was my favorite. This was a great world builder with lots of different ways to grow. There were tons of steamy/spicy scenes to keep you intrigued. It was a page turner and definitely worth the read.

This book was a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of who is who and what each is and can do it makes for a great story. There were a few twists in the book and I can't wait for book two. You follow Adreanna and her sister Emma. You soon realize they are completely different in every aspect. Soon you meet Mana, Kaleb, Lethe, and Bowen. Each of them are so completely different except for their need for Adreanna. It makes for one fascinating story that you can't put down.

Sinners End……addictive reading at its finest.
OMG!!! this book is a dark sexy rollercoaster ride you will never want to get off.
Every time I thought that I had Sinners End all figured out, I’d be completely blown away.
Sinners End is addictive reading at its best, I hadn’t even got halfway through the first chapter and I was hooked……I couldn’t put it down.
Before I knew it I was at the epilogue and all I can say about the epilogue is…WOW…it just has to be the start of another book.

It took be a minute to get into this because honestly I was so confused about what was going on, but when everything started to click into place the emotions I started feeling were comical. At one point I had to shut the book and sit there in complete shock. In that note I absolutely loved this book and definitely would read it again even though at times I couldn’t stand Mana!

Difficult to read sometimes which is why it’s 4 stars and not. Right...so this book is HEAVY on the SMUT and when I say HEAVY I mean HEAVY. I'm not going to lie this book had me laughing, crying, wanting to scratch my brain stem and rolling around in my bed in different positions because I was so flabbergasted by what was going on. I clearly enjoyed this book with all of it's insanity.
There’s a double demon penis. Yeah one man two penises and they both work separately AND together. I mean Jesus H. Christ that took days for me to figure out. That and the phantom hands playing with every ones parts via the hellspawn. All in all thoroughly enjoyed this read and I cannot wait for the next book.

- There are more than one type of supernatural beings haunting the halls of this club, all wanting one specific sister.
- Of course, this is the sister that wants nothing to do with most of them…until she does.
- The other jealous twin is not happy about this and decides to retaliate. Thankfully, our FMC has four supernatural love interests protecting her soooo...you can guess how this plays out.
- There are a few other attempts to keep our FMC away from her many “men” but we ultimately end with a happy ending.

Dark and Twisty, Convoluted

Addi’s life has its challenges, but it’s about to get turned completely upside down. She’s attracted the attention of Mana, the king of Harken’s Asylum, as well as the those around him: Kaleb, a human(?), Bowen, a fallen Angel by choice and Lethe, who has Fallen with a purpose. It took me a bit to get into this book - the characters confused and didn’t immediately engage me, but once I got into it, I was in for taboo and twisted ride. A solid read.

Okay so I was warned by Raven not to read this in public 😅 so I suppose I should have listened and NOT read this in the hospital surrounded by people giving me odd looks BUT my care factor was absolutely zero because this book slapped!

Following the FMC Adreana along as she yet again tries to recover her sister from this insane nightclub in an asylum, she always has this feeling of being watched...it's not a bad feeling in fact she has grown to like it, it makes her feel safe. Which is probably why she doesn't bat an eye when an enormous man from the club follows her home to check that she's okay after seeing what she did when she recovers her sister doing things 😉 then he asks her out, not only does their date end with the two of them BUT she makes a deal with the devil (okay not the actual devil but a demon who may as well be 😆🫠) and lands herself 4 hotter than s¡n boyfs I mean d@mnnnn 🤤 there is so much 😉 action in this book s@tan himself would be proud 👏

Oh wait, a Prince of Darkness does show up at the end 😆 so is he proud? Or does he bring back Adreana's past?

I need the next book if there is another 😍

Sinners End delivered exactly what it promised which was why-choose, dark paranormal romance.

It was a bit hard to get in to the flow of the story at first but overall the storyline itself from start to finish was packed with developments. It definitely took turns I was not expecting.
The characters developed gradually throughout the story and little bits are given here and there about their origins and greater personalities.

Why I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ not ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️:
My one dislike was lack of descriptive development. Things just “were”. I struggled to get a real mental picture of the characters and Harkem. And things happened fast. One moment Addi HATED Mana and next minute she loves him. I will say, part of this was down to writing style and things became clear but I spent a lot of time wondering if I had missed something, for it then to be further explained by the next POV.

Overall, it was a good read with interesting developments and it definitely has some chilli peppers for the spice.

My Opinion:

This book is quite different than any other I have read before. Smut and dark romance was awesome, and exactly what I love in this type of romance. I haven't really read many paranormal romances, which made this short book my introduction into that realm. I was very intrigued by all the different characters and type of creature they were. I especially enjoyed the reverse harem because why not choose them all? My only issues were sometimes the parts didn't make sense to me or didn't flow well. Otherwise I really enjoyed it and recommend if you are into this type of scene. Very short and quick read!

A DARK DARK ROMANCE

I just finished reading Forgotten Shadow Lords Book 1, Sinner's End. Written by Jade Marshall and Raven Hush. I highly recommend this first installment to all who enjoy dark, poly, paranormal, and spicy with an HEA! Oof, that being said, I delved into this well-written page-turner. An emotional rollercoaster that will pull at all of your strings. This unpredictable book was definitely a one sitting read. The vividly portrayed characters were as endearing as they were hateful. As the story unfurls, you will understand why I couldn’t put it down til the very end. The amorous scenes are nail bittingly intense. The world build, Harken, is a dark place and on point with the build-up to its plot. A must-read, I look forward to the next installment, Book 2!

I liked this but I was confused for basically the whole book. I don’t know if it was me or the writing style but I had a really hard time tracking the plot. It jumped around a lot and I never really knew what was happening. I liked the MMCs but the romance felt so fast. I’m so so confused on the dynamics of the romance. It felt like the guys changed who they were after meeting Addi. Like they seemed to have a preference for romance then after Addi, that wasn’t true. Also two of the MMCs share a dad but they still kiss and it’s not in the trigger warnings so beware. I honestly still have so many questions even though I liked this book. Epilogue was interesting so I’ll probably read the next one.

There will be Death

This definitely checked some dark boxes, and I really liked all the characters.
Twins only is appearance. Angels and demons don't mix they say. The fallen and broken though?
The detailed drama gives you the insight, definitely heat and spice as we follow the story of the players. Oh I really liked the "daddy"
The smart one stomps her ways into his domain like a fish in the hook. Puffed up with what she isn't going to do. Carefully he placed his words. One word and all she knows changes. Them... well they can't seem to get along and because of that a few things go to hell (no pun intended) lol
I very much enjoyed this and hope it's a second book coming

If you love your paranormal dark why choose then give this book a chance. I loved the foundations of this story with the paranormal drug being developed, who runs the asylum club, a potential stalker to our FMC and her party drugged up twin. It was smashing those first few chapters.

For some reason, I kept bouncing out of the rest of the story. There was a lot of missing information (which I get you don't want to reveal all the character goodies), but I just kept getting confused. This is a personal hiccup I have when reading, and was unable to fully emerce myself into the book because I was trying to understand what was going on.

Forgotten Shadow Lords, Book 1 is a ḍärƙ §pïcƴ paranormal, why-choose, §pọọƙƴ with some horror bits & a 'lil romance story. Definitely review the TWs! All different types of §müṭṭ & ƙïṅƙ are in this story between Addi, Mana, Kethe, Kaleb & Bowen. 🥵🔥💋 Some parts of this story moved along well with the start of world-building, some parts felt very rushed, some parts felt like previous scenes/explanations were missing and some parts I wished were expanded upon greatly. I love the idea of this story. Since we cannot do half stars in rating, I rate this as a 4. However, I would say more of 3.5 stars.

All I can say is wow!!! This is a very dark and twisted book with a HEA and 4 dark anti-heroes!! Each of the men in this book is twisted and dark in their own way. All 4 of them find themselves obsessed or in love with Adreanna. Adreanna makes an agreement with Mana without realizing what she has agreed to, and from there the book quickly evolves into an orgy between the 5 main characters. I had a hard time putting this book down because it was so twisted, but in the best possible ways!! I will definitely be contemplating this book for awhile as it really made me think!!.

Sinner's End is book one of the Forgotten Shadow Lords Series.

There is a lot going on with this storyline, but you finally see how everything connects as the story progresses. There are plenty of twists and turns and a lot of dark moments. It is dark and twisted, but in such a good way.

I wasn't really sure how I felt about Mana through a lot of the first half of the book. He did get a bit more likeable, but of all the characters he was the one who you weren't really sure about. I really liked Kaleb and found him to be the most likeable character.

What can I say about this book! It definitely had me on my toes most of the time! The emotions that both twins were going through had me crying my eyes out. The guys in this book were amazing! They definitely were worth fighting for at the end, but I didn't want it to end, though! 🥺 that's one thing, though! I want more of these characters to see what happens next! This book made me fall in love with these characters and authors who wrote it! It had me all over the place, though, but I wouldn't want it any other way! 🥹🫶😁

This is a dark and slightly scary read, that draws you in and keeps you there the whole book.
The characters are all basically from Hell and heaven, but all come together for the one soul that was ment to be their’s. Together they all make decisions that impact them all in one way or another. They are all being played by the Princess of Hell and they all willingly do it for the love that they have all come to. Want and the woman that brings them together as a dysfunctional family. Their love is ment to be for an eternity.

I had trouble getting into the story at the beginning.
As the story progressed it became easier.

The story is well written and highly recommended if you like dark books.

Ultimately everything becomes clear at the end and it takes a twist that I didn't see coming.

It's dark, exciting, grisly and basically everything you expect when it comes to demons, fallen angels and the prince of the underworld.

Sinner’s End a Dark Paranormal Romance that features a human FMC, a why choose Romance with 4 Men that are from different realms. Sword crossing is involved so I would check the trigger warnings before you decide to read.

I really enjoyed this read. I found the writing style really good and engaging.

The ending was brilliant and I would love to see if there would be another book as I am down for that.

An intense, sometimes difficult dark RH why choose read. Please it’s advisable to read the Tws as this is quite dark. Adreanna is a twin, the quieter and the better twin overall, she ends up going to a club with her sister where her life begins to change forever. She has grabbed the attention of four very dark and sinister men that want her, and will do anything to get her. Sometimes confusing but very steamy.
