“Ok, what do I do now?” Was the first question in Rockin’s mind after he established a clan of his own. The clan recruitment frenzy got under Rockin’s skin and he decided to register a clan of his own. That was just the beginning, however, because registering a clan and running a clan were two different things. Rockin took on the challenge, knowing he could make it work.

Lilfira – a half dragonkin woman and her mother wondered into Savirei’s diner one day, looking for help. They had no money, no food, and nowhere to go, and so asked Savirei for help. Savirei being the sly wolf-woman that she was agreed to help her and even offered an opportunity to join the clan. Of course, Lilfira joining the clan would have to be approved by the clan’s leader first, Savirei acting very sweet when she introduced the two together. Rockin not knowing how to react, nor having a reason to refuse, agreed for Lilfira to join his clan and that’s when things got a little shaky.

As it turned out, Lilfira and her mother were on the run, being chased by the red dragonkins, a very proud and unforgiving race. Whatever the grudge the red dragonkins had against Lilfira or her mother, Rockin and his clan members became their target just because he accepted Lilfira into his clan. What could’ve happened between Lilfira and her mother, and the red dragonkins that they were now pursuing them? Will Rockin be able to protect Lilfira and his clan members from the powerful red dragonkins? Read this new book in the ‘I Don’t Want To Level Up’ series and find out.

I Don’t Want To Level Up (book 4) is the fourth book in the series, which is a work of fiction. It includes fantasy isekai, gamelit, LitRPG elements, dungeon exploration, unconventional (harem) relationships and some adult sexual content.

This book was pretty good, but that's as far as I can go with it. I do love the overall premise, but some aspects of it grow tiresome over time.

The harem apparently will be growing by one, with a half-dragonkin that is introduced in this book looking to become a member. She's nice, but she's basically falling in line with the previous two members.

To many characters, especially the antagonists in this book, act like two-bit annoyances in eastern fiction. The brash overconfidence, the hatred for someone different from them, the childish insults. I could practically feel the manga words coming from each mouth.

I will keep trying with this series, but it is a bit unintentionally silly at times.

Chuckles

I really enjoyed this. While book two was a fantastic love story this was more a coming of age book. Most harem books just run up a score of women only paying lip service to the word love. This seems to be little more than that. Though as bratty as they are a good bum smackin' may be in order.

The last line though just made the book!

More women wanting you and new complications, and don't even get started on being a new guild. Such a funny and fun story.
