I wished Miracle had a voice in this third book like she did in the first two. I wanted to hear from her own perspective what made her actually make the decision she made. It was heartbreaking to see Sassy walk in a witnessed her little sister in that way. It sent Sassy to a darker place. Hurt betrayal and feeling like she failed Miracle lead her to wanting revenge. She didn't care who she had to take out to get to Trent. Trent was a damn monster. It's crazy how his overgrown ass was jealous of his own child. His own daughter to the point. He was willing destroy anybody even his own child just to regain power. I side eyed the hell out of Mayhem. He should've known damn well that Dani was on some snake s**t. Especially when he realized Trent was the one who kidnapped him and her. Mayhem definitely shouldn't have believed when Dani told him her son was his but Mayhem allowed his past feelings for Dani to over cloud his judgement. When Dani realized she couldn't weasle her way back in Mayhem life because Sassy have his heart. Her miserable and bitter ass decided to continue with her plan with Trent and it backfired. No matter what Trent said. Sassy and Mayhem had his old washed up ass paranoid. He thought he had the upper hand on Sassy and Mayhem but he learned quickly how tables do turn
I don’t know why these authors dragging books out lately this could of been a wrap by book two and that’s stretching it… the story line is great but so much repeated scenes in book one that could of been filled with the entire book two I had to force myself to finish it which took me almost two weeks I just wish you didn’t stretch it so much of the book wasn’t even needed and I don’t like that you stretched it and messed up the story line from each book like Dani left after showing up naked on mayhem door and sassy cut up then when she return in book two it was the lost love that ghosted him
I feel like I read this story before maybe or a story very similar. I'm happy she got her happily ever. Happy she is something good for the projects. If only her sister was there with her.
So much death so much grief, rage a bit of love. But the morning thoughts stuck out the most. I get it but dang. I understand everyone goes through stages of greif and sometimes loves is the root cause but dang it was dark.
