this story had such a warm and emotional feel to it. it was about healing, starting over, and learning to trust again — and grace and caleb made it so easy to root for them. there was romance, drama, a little miscommunication, and some found family moments that gave it so much heart.

grace is a former socialite who’s been through a lot, and i really felt for her. she wasn’t just running away from her old life, she was trying to figure out who she really was without all the noise. the way she kept everything so guarded made total sense, and i loved that she was still trying to stay strong through it all.

caleb was such a soft, steady presence. a total golden retriever single dad with a huge heart. he gave grace space, but also made her feel safe — and the way he respected her boundaries without question made me love him even more.

their romance was slow but sweet, and the chemistry between them built up so naturally. there was a little bit of miscommunication that got a bit annoying, but it didn’t last long and didn’t take away from how genuine their connection felt. the ending wrapped things up in such a satisfying way.

This book is a beautifully written small-town romance that delivers on emotional depth and is such a cute and cosy read. Grace is a strong, relatable heroine with a complicated past, and watching her navigate new beginnings in a tight-knit community was both moving and satisfying. The chemistry between her and Jack—our guarded, loyal single father—is palpable from the start, with tender moments that sneak up on you and a simmering connection that builds with each chapter.

This book stands out for its layered characters, themes of healing and trust, and the cosy yet poignant vibe that small-town romances do so well.

4.5⭐️- A story about love, loss, losing yourself, and finding yourself, all done through this beautiful story through Grace and Caleb's Perspective. This is definitely a book that has made its mark in my memory.

I genuinely can't wait for this book to be released for everyone to read; it is heartfelt and then heartwarming. I still struggle to decide whether this is a 4.5-star or a 5-star read.

Thank you, Stephanie Napolitano and her team, for choosing me to read the ARC for this book!

✨Huge thank you to Stephanie Napolitano and her team for sending me an ARC of Fall From Grace!✨

Okay, so let’s talk about this chaotic, glamorous, messy, and surprisingly healing little gem of a book that had me hooked from page one.

Grace Harrington is New York royalty—like Gossip Girl meets rehab meets Vogue cover girl. But after a scandal (and one hell of a tragic, sister-shaped heartbreak), she does what every hot mess heroine should do: flees to a small town with questionable Wi-Fi and excellent blueberry muffins.

Enter Caleb: single dad, bar owner, braid-doing MVP, and literal walking cinnamon roll with a hammer. He has a nine-year-old daughter who would like to gently drag her dad for his subpar French braids, and honestly? She’s the breakout star of this book.

Watching Grace go from party girl with a pill problem to small-town queen with a heart for helping other women? 10/10 redemption arc. This girl doesn’t just rise from the ashes—she builds a women’s shelter in them and calls it A Saving Grace (insert me sobbing here). 😭

Highlights: 💔 Sister grief that hurts, but heals 🛠️ A man who builds things and listens (we love to see it) 👩‍👧 Found family vibes with Noelle that’ll warm your soul 👑 Mother-daughter trauma that finally gets cracked open (and yeah, I cried) 💋 Slow-burn romance that actually feels earned

Did I predict some of the beats? Sure. Was I still emotionally compromised by the final chapter? Absolutely.

Grace’s final line—

“Let them read all about it. For the first time, I knew exactly who I was.”

—had me fist-pumping in my blanket cocoon.

If you're into complicated women, soft men who are secretly rocks, small towns full of heart, and stories where healing is just as important as kissing—this one’s for you. ❤️

Okay where do I start?! I absolutely loved that this was my first ARC book!! It comes out on May 7th, you need to put it on your TBR list.

I’m a sucker for a good love story but this one had depth. From the very start you’re hooked with the opening scene. I feel like the story itself was very well written. There wasn’t a moment where I felt like “wait did I miss something?”. The characters were amazing, the setting was great, given the type of book that it was the romance/spice was spot on. I loved the way how the supporting characters never overshadowed the main characters but still played a major role in the story. The ending had me!! The way Grace and Caleb loved each other and pushed for their love was perfect. The epilogue was just what I needed. I know it might be a stretch but I would love to see more of their after story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

thank you to the author and Tales & Teacups PR for providing me with an ARC!

unfortunately, i had to dnf because it felt like the story was going nowhere. there was little to no chemistry between the main characters & no build up to their relationship. they jumped into dating too quickly imo & the spark that was barely there vanished completely.

as for a small town trope lover, this one just didn’t hit.

It all started when a New York IT girl spills her dirty martini over the smoking hot bartender.

Grace had it all. The looks , the fame, the social status and the friends to match…until she didn’t. Her fall from grace spirals after tragedy strikes and is plastered all over the tabloids. Her sponsors drop her, her trust fund is dwindling and Grace’s friends can’t be seen with her. The loneliness is too much and she makes the decision to put her big girl panties on and do a little soul searching in Grand Haven . And what better way to do it than under a hot single-dad, who just happens to own the local bar ❤️‍🔥

I was hooked from the prologue. Heartbreak, drama and spice. Small-town ✅ Single Dad ✅ Age Gap ✅ Sign. Me. Up!!

Caleb is a hot as hell, hardworking, girl dad. This is the type of guy who will open a car door, cook a delicious meal and just so happens to be really good at giving a ‘favor’ in his bar after closing 🥵 The banter is on point although, Grace can be a bit pouty and bratty at times but I enjoyed how they were mostly honest and open to each other. Caleb is patient and caring and a great dad 🔥 and he respected Grace’s wishes from the beginning. Noelle’s character was such a cute addition and the town busy bodies were a laugh.

If you’re looking for a cute, small town romance with banter, spice and drama, then this one is for you.

Absolutely loved this story. the beginning moved a bit fast for me but the plot of the FMC was so great. i always love a broken FMC and Stephanie truly captured that. This story was super interesting and heart breaking at times, overall i would rate this story a 4 star and would recommend this to any one of my book besties. if you are looking for a deep back story, amazing MMC who equally falls first as FMC, single dad trope than this is 100% book for you. i can never go wrong with a single dad romance and again Stephanie did not disappoint with the devoted single dad in this story. The ending was honestly my favorite, seeing Grace start such a beautiful charity and foundation and completely change and grow as a person was so wonderful, i only wish that Grace and Caleb’s fight was a little more loving/gut wrenching. At the end I think there should have been more proper declaration of love from Grace and explanation, I feel like any normal person wouldn’t have believed her so quickly that what she said was a lie due to her actions leading up the lie. Other than that, I loved this story and such a fun time reading and I was so thankful to Stephanie and her team allow me to read it early❤️

This was interesting for me.

Grace is a rich socialite that goes through a traumatic experience, and everyone thinks it’s her fault. She decides she needs a break from all the attention and decides to visit a small town a couple hours away, and there she meets Caleb. Caleb owns the town bar and is a single dad to his nine-year-old daughter. Grace quickly realizes that maybe she can leave her old life behind and start something new with Caleb.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. For the first 50% I considered dnf’ing because I felt no pull to the characters or any desire to pick it back up. But I was very invested in the last 40% of this book. I did love Noelle and her spunk and knowing exactly what she wanted.

I was provided an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Huge thank you to Stephanie Napolitano and her team for sending me an ARC copy of Fall from Grace. I absolutely devoured this book and enjoyed every last minute. The single dad trope had me sat from the minute I read the blurb.

A troubled socialite trying to escape her life x a small-town single dad??? Oh my GOODNESS. This book had everything and more🥹 Caleb was such a lovely character to read about and the way he dotes on his daughter, Noelle was just the absolute sweetest. Noelle was the most fiery and sassy 9 year old and I just loved everything about her!!!

And Grace… the utter character DEVELOPMENT was insane. The way she grew as a person after everything she went through and how she overcame it all was incredible to read. She was truly my favourite character - what a strong woman.

The small-town vibes, the side characters. This book had it all and I truly loved it. I will 100% be recommending this book to everyone. Applause for Stephanie Napolitano👏🏼

Wow! Wow! Wow! 🥹❤️ Grace and Caleb!!! This story had me hooked from page one. I literally could not put it down! The raw emotions, love, and authenticity from these two! Thank you so much, Stephanie, for this ARC 🥹🫂❤️ The spice 🫦🔥🔥🔥

Caleb Jameson 🔥🧎‍♀️ Holy..... Man, this man has me! The way he has me on my knees, from the second I met him, and he flashed that smile 🥹 Tall, handsome, charming, flirty, protective, possessive, obsessed, older, golden retriever, a safe space for Grace, owner of Bar, a brilliant single dad and can't stop falling for the enigmatic and mysterious city girl 🤭 We first meet Caleb, when Grace bumps into him at his bar, called Bar 🤭 I know, but read the book, the name makes perfect sense. He flashes his smile, and I was a puddle, let alone Grace. There was just something about that smile that made her want to never leave his arms and him.

Grace Harrington 🥹 This woman had me cheering her on literally from the first word. She's been through so much. Beautiful, intelligent, charming, former model and socialite, rich, flirty, shy, mysterious, scared, traumatized, protective, banter full, and insanely attracted to and in love with the single dad she can't get out of her mind 🫦 Grace left the city after extenuating circumstances that were out of her control, but still got blamed for. She finds herself in a small town that makes her feel safe, protected, and that everything is going to be okay. When Caleb smiles at her, she feels safe, and that is what she wants most 🥹🤭

I loved these two and Noelle, so much. They are what each other needs and wanted. The amount of trust and love between Caleb and Grace 🥹❤️ It made my heart feel so full. The writing is absolutely mind-blowing and gripping. I can't wait to read Lucy's story because she has me ❤️

“Loving him was the easiest thing I’d ever done”

From the beginning, it was clear that Stephanie Napolitano’s storytelling was going to be exceptional. Her plotting and planning were well thought out and everything is taken in very careful consideration. What stood out most was the world building and scene setting, painting a vivid picture. It was clear to me that Stephanie had a polished vision of these characters - she knew exactly who they stood out as strong, individual players in this love story. My only criticism is that I wish we received less information up front so we could watch the emotional backstories unfold throughout - learning more as the characters unravel their pasts.

Grace and Caleb had incredible chemistry - it was undeniable, and left me wanting more. Their dialogue was so natural and I couldn’t get enough of their banter. Caleb had me from the beginning - his dedication to his daughter, his passion as a business owner, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. Really he’s just a stand up guy and I fell for him almost as hard as Grace - he’s the ultimate book boyfriend. The book perfectly combined a slow burning love with heartbreak and drama, including every trope that I love.

What could have bumped this book up a star for me would be to limit the exposition - I’d rather learn the story as it plays out and shows up in the character’s lives, rather than be told everything up front. Because of the format, there was some repetition since the characters told their stories once to the reader, and again to the love interest. The story is so thoughtful and intentional, I can only imagine how engaging it would be if we were forced to keep reading to get the full story, and I’d love to read another one of Stephanie’s works with this implemented. Ultimately, this small town, single dad romance had me invested, pining and spinning through emotional rides with each character.

“That was the thing about grief - you feel like you’re cheating on the deceased by moving on, by just living day-to-day, because they don’t get the luxury.”

3.5⭐️ I really enjoyed this writing! I couldn’t put this book down, it was definitely a fun read and a page turner.

After suffering a traumatic event, Grace leaves New York City and the high society she grew up in for a small town upstate. She meets Caleb, a single-dad who owns the local bar.

I really liked Grace and Caleb, I felt like they had a lot of chemistry and their story felt like it moved naturally. I loved the inclusion of serious real-world topics, like women’s shelters. I felt like “fall from grace” was written into the book too often, as Grace would refer to her past with that phrase multiple times. It lost its impact after a while and erred on the side of cheesy.

Sometimes I felt like I couldn’t understand the pacing. A lot of things would be mentioned to have happened between chapters “a few weeks ago” and that timeline confused me. At one point, the book was in the middle of winter and then all of a sudden, it was august. There were also random chapters that didn’t feel like they fit in the plot line, kind of like vignettes or something that weren’t necessary besides adding some humor and/or more spice. It was all fun to read but lost me in the overall timespan of the book.

Contents:
Spice: 2.5🌶️ open-door, a handful of spicy scenes but nothing too graphic
Tropes: small town, billionaire (she’s the rich one), age gap, single dad, dual POV
Triggers: death of a sibling, grief

Thank you so much to Tales and Teacups for the ARC!

This was good fun! An easy going, wholesome, read.

I'm kind of stuck between a 3.5 and a 4 star rating. If you're a fan of cosy, small town romance, and the whole handsome single dad with a cute kid vibe then there's a lot to like here. I think I'd of turned my nose up at that not long ago, but the books I've read this year really beg to differ 😂

Ohhh buckle up babes, because this book?? This chaotic, sparkly, emotionally gut-punching fever dream of healing and hot dads ate me alive and left me smiling through my tears.

We’ve got Grace Harrington, certified NYC socialite disaster—think Gossip Girl but make it emotional damage—who crashes hard and then books it to small-town obscurity with the energy of “please no one look at me while I ugly cry into a muffin.”

Enter Caleb: single dad, bar owner, braid enthusiast (sort of), and walking definition of “man who uses his hands and also has feelings.” His daughter? 9 years old and already more iconic than me. Her passive-aggressive commentary on his braiding skills deserves its own spin-off.

Grace’s glow-up isn’t just external—it’s full phoenix-core. Party girl? Who? She said trauma who? and went and built a freaking women’s shelter out of the rubble of her life and I was sobbing like a wet tissue.

This book gave:
🩷Grief that hits like a truck but heals like soup
🩷A man who builds AND listens (god-tier)
🩷Found family that made me want to hug strangers
🩷Mommy issues finally getting therapy (as they should)
🩷Slow-burn romance that made me YEARN
Sure, I saw some of the plot coming—but you know what I didn’t see? Myself weeping at the final chapter like I just watched a dog reunion video.

Add this to your Wishlist babes. It’s wholesome. Worth it.

Firstly wanted to thanks tales and teacups and the author for providing me with an ARC of this book to read and review for you guys.

This book is about a socialite from NYC that has a scandal and decides that she should move to a small town 2 hours away and forget all about her past life, with the help of the rugged love interest CJ.
CJ’s top priority is his daughter Noelle, and his second one is his bar, called Bar. That is until the cute new blonde spills a drink on him.

My favorite part of this book was in truth Noelle, she is only 9 years old but already “behaves like such an adult” and that resonated with me the strongest. She was sassy and spunky, she always had something out of pocket to say!
Although the story was very “hallmarky” I feel like there should be a trigger warning at the beginning of the book about some of the things that happen mainly in the prologue (maybe there will be one in the finished copy of the book). There were also some strange time jumps and moments where the characters where telling us things already made clear or things that could in some way be shown to us.

Overall it was okay, and I still recommend it if you want a cute small town vibe, with good side characters and some good gossip and drama.

A grieving socialite decides to take a break from the city and escape to the small town of Grand Haven. She bumps into the Bar owner and ends up spilling her drink all over him, and then her life changes. There is no more running away.

This is more than just your average cute small town romance, this book deals with grief, losing yourself, starting over, finding yourself and overall healing. And yes it’s still cute, but there’s more to it than that. I read this book in a day, it was so good. Think Gossip Girl meets Gilmore girls. It was the crossover I never knew I needed!

Caleb is a single dad trying to keep his head above water. He is such a good guy. Grace asked him to never look her up on social media and he didn’t. Throughout everything he always believed Grace even when it hurt him. I absolutely loved their chemistry from the very beginning. He has always understood Grace, when most people would’ve judged her.

And Grace, she is a runner but deep down she is scared and we get to see her overcome that. She led a messy life before and she just wants better for her self. And even it isn’t always easy we get to see her journey. I loved her relationship with Caleb’s daughter, she truly embraced a mom role and she fit in with the family perfectly.

ARC- ok so this book from page one just started spilling all the tea! You learn so much about the FMC Grace from the prologue and first chapter, it’s so informative and just hooks you.
This book follows Grace who is a A list social light, who is suffering from a big family loss, she goes to rehab, there’s so much scandal behind her name and she has a huge tank in her career. So she flees NYC in hopes of a fresh start and she finds a small town and that’s where she meets Caleb.
Now Caleb is a single dad, who owns a bar and is just trying to be the best dad he can be, his dynamic with his daughter screams “Jersey Girl” the movie with Ben Affleck!
So what happens when you mix a single, small town, hard working, cinnamon roll man with a big city, scandalous, party girl? You get a hell of a love story! And that’s all I’m going to say, definitely go pick this book up!

ARC REVIEW

This book starts off with an emotional scene that sets up for a catalyst throughout the book. It is done beautifully and handled with grace.

Grace is a young socialite in NYC when tragedy leaves her banished from her old life and has her searching for herself.

Caleb is a single dad to a ferocious girl and bar owner in a small town outside of NYC.

When Grace sees an add for a small town B&B she packs up for a weekend trip to get her head clear. She ends up at Caleb’s bar and the best meet cute ever happens!

Their romantic relationship is a slow burn but not too slow. The way she develops a relationship with his daughter is heartwarming when she has her own “mommy issues”.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the reason for the 3rd act breakup and how quickly it was reconciled felt rush and out of left field.

4 ⭐️ Thank you Tales & Teacups for this ARC! This story was so heartfelt and wholesome! At first, I struggled getting through with the book because in the beginning, I felt there were a lot of time jumps that just cut off a moment and jumped to another one. BUT it did really turn around in the best way around 40% in!

Grace was really such an amazing character and I loved experiencing her changes and growth. Caleb (I mean… no words) he is just PERFECT. I also loved how the author did not just bank on the trope of a single dad and completely forget about the kid. Noelle was vital to the story and I loved all of her moments!!

Fall from Grace is all about healing, starting over, and learning to trust again and Grace and Caleb made it so easy to root for them.

Grace is a former socialite with a messy past, trying to figure out who she is without all the noise. She’s guarded (for good reason), but strong and relatable. Caleb? Literal golden retriever single dad energy. Patient, kind, and totally respectful, loved him.

Their romance is slow and sweet with natural chemistry. A bit of miscommunication, but it didn’t ruin the vibe. The small town, found family moments, and hilarious side characters (Noelle was adorable!) added so much warmth.

Cute, heartfelt, and full of charm. Would definitely read more from this author! 💛

this was sweet and i enjoyed most of the plot, but the writing started to fall flat about halfway through. noelle was super cute and even though we were told her age i could never remember because of the variety of behavior we saw from her. i do love a small town but the characters got confusing and underexplained at times. also single dad trope is just a yes! plus their age gap wasn't that bad and the relationship grace and noelle formed was so sweet (i teared up ngl)

i absolutely adored everything about this!! from the mix of city life to small town life, i really enjoyed seeing the two different perspectives. this book was beautifully written and the romance between grace and caleb was so pure. i was also a major fan of is daughter as she really lightened the mood even when the story was filled with so much struggle and trauma for both of the main characters. there was one bit during the 80% mark that made me a bit mad at grace and for that reason it is not a 5 star read!! Thank you lovenotespr for the arc🤍

Happy release day! Now one of the things I pride myself on is honesty and this book and I just didn’t gel. It’s okay, but it did far too much telling and not enough showing. Everything just seemed to happen and there was no build up and a lack of emotional connection with the characters. The prologue itself is fantastic and is instantly gripping but the rest of the book just lacked anything special in comparison for me and I need to feel more in a romance book as a reader, not just be told. It has been receiving rave reviews, but unfortunately it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Everyone deserves a little bit of Grace.

This beautiful story is about seconded chances. Caleb and Grace have proven that a second chance can lead to a love , a ready built family and a life time of happiness. Grace "Golden Girl" Harrington had it all until a few bad choices let to escape the city life for Grand Haven. A small town with a population of 3,000. Where you go to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, a city filled with kind people that love to help their fellow neighbor. There in that small town is where she meets Caleb. Caleb is a man of dreams. Hardworking bar owner who loves to volunteer along side his daughter Noelle. I loved getting to know these characters. They all showed so much love, compassion and GRACE. This book was not only about seconded chances but learning to love yourself regardless of your past. I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book and I'd like to thank the Author, Stephanie Napolitano and her team for giving me a change to experience this amazing read a little early.

✧.* fall from grace

This book gave me everything- plot, wonderful main characters, a beautiful found family, drama and romance.

Grace is a former IT girl from NYC, after her sister’s death- which the New York society blamed on her- she decided she had enough of fake friends, not feeling supported by her family and gossip magazines . She goes to the beautiful Grand Haven town to detox and find herself.

The fact that Grace asked Caleb to don’t google her speak louder about how her life was. And the fact that Caleb always respected her boundaries was such an important thing.

Their romance was cute and they had a beautiful chemistry. There’s a little of miscommunication between them - I was getting nervous at this point because I really wanted them to TALK WITH EACH OTHER 😂.

But it’s not that frustrating and you forgive them after such a beautiful ending 💗.

I’d like to thank Love Notes PR and Stephanie Napolitano for providing me a copy.

ARC reader!

This was a fast paced romance and a quick read. The romance starts pretty early on but the author did a great job at making it seem believable. It didn't feel forced or cheesy and it was perfect. Grace was a relatable character and I enjoyed her journey throughout this book. I also liked the couples friendship and relationship. The atmosphere of the town and the people in it was perfect.

Initially I struggled through the 1st part of the story, there was alot of timeliness jumping which I did struggle to keep a hold of in my head. BUT hold out because from approx 50% in, wwwooo you are in for a treat!!!!!
I flew through the 2nd 50% like my life depended on it!
I had a great time while reading this arc and I can't wait for the rest of the reading world to stumble on this gem 🧡
4*

First thank you to Stephanie Napolitano and her team Hayling Bookstorm for sending me an ARC of Fall from Grace.

I was so excited to start this book. What could go wrong with tropes of; single dad, small town romance, opposites attract, found family, IT girl, age gap and with some fairly spicy scenes!

This story is told in two POVs Grace and Caleb, and trust me you’ll fall in love with Caleb; hardworking, attentive, kind and sexy.
Grace is a big city socialite and one horrible night gets her on her way, away from that life, to the small town of Grand Haven where she meets Caleb; a small town bar owner with some secrets of his own. But between Grace and Caleb their connection and chemistry is amazing.
There are many side characters but none that over power the main characters in the book. Which was nice, you knew enough about them that you enjoyed when they entered in a chapter.

There were some chapters that ended on certain topics that went right into a new chapter, next day/month type timelines . I had to go back and see if I missed anything(some chapters felt a little rushed to put it simply)

I throughly enjoyed this book; the characters I felt like I could connect with, the daughter Noelle, her personality and wit was perfect!

The Epilogue was just what we needed as readers! And I feel like there is opportunity for side characters to have a story tell in upcoming books👀

Some triggers; death, drug use.

Fall from Grace comes out May 7th definitely add it to your wishlist/ pre order!
