DNF at 60%. Too much non consent. Non consensual spanking, whipping and figging. Nope. I really hated this.

Captivating read about Liainey a little girl with special abilities, Donovan, he’d rescued her
Donovan had been on his way to work when he had heard a loud noise and discovered two thugs attacking a young girl, they were trying to force into the back of a white van but she had been putting up a fight that was worthy of an in wrestler.
He had instantly known by their tattoo they were from The Red Rose Corp. it was simply essential that he get her somewhere safely and they have to ensure that they find a safe place to put Lainey so that the corporation could not get a hold of her.
Donovan and Lainey return to his apartment and he explains to her that she is a Variant and that the two me had been sent by the Red Rose Corp and that they were there to capture and eradicate her and Donovan had been sure and explained her abilities. He had tried to explain to her the danger they were in and it was essential that she understand the full ramifications in she was captured and she relied on Donovan who she called her Daddy, he was everything she needed and she felt safe in his care.
After Donovan is able to contact a source able to help set up a new identity for both himself and Lainey along with passports, identity papers and also some finances to keep them on their feet whilst they begin a new home and life together.
This is a simply captivating read with action, love and bravery along with cruelty and death and experimentation that should it be allowed to continue un avenged would mean the death of variants simply because of who and what they are.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

This was a gem of a book that had me laughing out loud. It is a quick read, but as they say, quality over quantity. It was quirky and had a paranormal feel and a touch of magic.I was drawn to the book by the humor and Lainey’s antics. The chemistry between Donovan and Lainey were off the charts. It was hot. There were also plenty of punishment scenes to spice things up.
Donovan rescued Lainey from two men he recognized as belonging to the Rose Corp. They captured variants for experimentation. Donovan was a no-nonsense man with little patience, especially concerning Lainey’s safety. He was determined to keep her safe, even if it meant punishing her regularly. On the other hand, Lainey thought Donovan was over-cautious, and it was a battle of wills, with Lainey losing and finding herself over her daddy’s knees until he was sure his little girl had learned a lesson in obedience.
I loved this book because of its unique storyline and wonderful characters. It was interesting how Donovan taught Lainey to control the power she did not know she possessed. The heat and spankings were an enjoyable added benefit. This was Ms. Moore at her best.

Daddy’s Little Sunshine is a charming supernatural age-play romance penned by Stella Moore. It chronicles the romantic journey between Lainey Goldberg and Donovan Carter. Donvan rescues Lainey from a kidnapping. He neutralized the thugs who were manhandling her. In so doing, he discovers their connection to Rose Corporation, a organization who mission is to medically study variants to determine how their supernatural powers work. He now takes care of Lainey, a Lg. The Rose Corporation agents continue to hunt her and now Donovan. Can Donovan keep her safe? Will they evade the clutches of Rose Corporation? Will they fall in love? To discover what unfolds, you must read this supernatural romance.
Supernatural romance is not my favorite genre, however, I found myself intrigued on how Donovan and Lainey’s romantic journey would turn out. Ms. Moore’s skill with literary devices—characterization, dual POV, conversational and internal monologues helped to keep me focused as well. Her use of a character-driven plot line for this romantic tale contributed to keeping my attention. I did feel the plot did drag a bit the rising action with the Rose Corporation helped the movement.

I loved this story. A great premise, well written with interesting characters full of life and passion.
Donovan is minding his business when he runs to Laineys aid. The chemistry is undeniable despite trying to push her away and not get close.
When his needs and her responses meld the dynamic flames to life.
Can he do want he planned and send her on her way.
Lainey is blind sided by everything that happens. She just wants to get back to her life and forget everything.
When Donovan won't tell her his name, he makes her call him daddy. That sets the scene for her frustrations, punishments, and punishments.
Throw in an interesting variant twist. There are plenty of surprises and secrets. My attention was captured and held.
I definitely recommend this book and author.

I loved this book!! Stella Moore is def one of my favorite authors.. when Donovan finds Lainey aka sunshine being attacked by 2 men in an alley he has no choice but to come to her rescue.. He see’d the tatto one of the guys who attacked her And saw it was the Rose Corp who are after variants to find out their powers.. He right away realizes that she is s VARIANT just like he is..Know knowing he needs to keep her safe no matter how he has to go about it!! He right away establishes that he’s her DADDY and she’s going to follow his rules or face his punishments!! And with his sunshine there are def punishments!! I recd this as an ARC and I’m not going to give away everything but I will tell you I truly enjoyed this story !!

Daddy's Little Sunshine is a quick, fun and entertaining read full of stormy encounters, lightning strikes and warm feelings. You've got to suspend belief and let yourself be transported into a world where humans with superpowers exist - and are hunted and killed because of them. This novella was previously published in an anthology called Super Daddies, and so it's no wonder that when Lainey's life is threatened, Donovan swoops in, scoops her up and carries her back to his apartment to keep her safe. And if she needs convincing that a Daddy knows best - so much the hotter!

This new story by one of my favorite authors delves a little bit into the paranormal and a lot into the Daddy/little genre. Donovan is a loner, by necessity and choice, but can’t stop himself from saving a damsel in distress. Said damsel, Lainey, is the target of an attempted abduction that Donovan thwarts somewhat violently. She has no idea why she was the target, but Donovan quickly ascertains the reason. There is something special about Lainey, similar to a special trait that he also has. Similar, but different. The story has a very good plot with lots of action, intrigue and surprise. Their Daddy/little relationship is very real, but everything else about them and those they interact with are not all what they seem to be. A lovely little paranormal story with sweet love, stern spankings, off the chart sex, and a very happy ever after. The epilogue is especially sweet, and sexy tangy too. 5 Stars

This story was first published in an anthology (Super Daddies) under a different name, but for whatever reason I never read it then, so it was brand new to me. Lainey is little Miss Sunshine, living her life when Donovan ends up taking her on the run to hide from some bad guys. I thought this was just a DD/lg story, but there is a paranormal bent as well. Loved how Lainey realized her dynamic and fell for her grumpy Daddy. Interesting twists and turns in the action portion of the story. Good HEA.

This is an interesting combination of DDLG and supernatural stories. It's sweet and is written well. However, the MMC at the beginning forces the FMC with his strength a lot. Although non-consent is common in these stories, it still makes me uncomfortable. The FMC doesn't even realize what her power is for many years, which seems very unrealistic and reflects poorly on her intellect. The plot of this evil organisation at the end is distracting, but it adds some external conflicts, so the readers are saved from reading another third-act breakup.

What an incredible story! I love that it has a mix of DD/lg and a bit of PNR mixed in making it an entertaining story. Lainey is a young woman who has no idea that she has some kind of power. That is until she meets Donovan, who had come to her rescue. He shows her that she is special in so many ways. She made me laugh and I fell in love with Donovan. He is the epitome of a Daddy. These two have some sizzling chemistry to the point my Kindle almost caught on fire! I enjoyed the PNR theme and it fit perfectly in with the storyline and characters. A definite must read!

Donovan makes a great Daddy, even if he is a grump, turns out he has a good reason to be. I like Lainey's personality, she is a huge brat.
There is danger around every corner, and trying to avoid it takes this couple into weird, wonderful and unique scenarios. Such a fun book.

This little story surprised me and I absolutely loved it! It's DD/lg with a bit of paranormal thrown in to top it off. Lainey doesn't realize she has powers and when she is almost kidnapped and saved by Donavan, he shows her. But the danger is still coming for her and she has to learn how to handle her powers. The banter between them was awesome and this story all the emotions and feels to it. Go get this book and dive in! You won't be sorry!!!!

This is a fun, quick read. It was initially published in an anthology called Super Daddies. Lainey has superpowers, but she isn't aware of it. When she is targeted by an organization that wants to study her, Donovan rescues her. Initially, Lainey isn't a fan of his methods, but she comes around to having a Daddy who disciplines her. I enjoyed the story and hope the author eventually expands the story.

I want the rest of this series. It's so well done. I want more. Lainey is so independent and lives life on her own terms. Donovan is stuck in a rut and needs something to pull him out. I loved their relationship, they are good for each other, including spankings and hot erotic scenes. This is a fast paced read with plenty of different elements including some violence. I hope that all the readers of this story feel as I do and want this well written story turned into a series.

I like being drawn into Stella Moore's worlds and i thought Lainey and Donovan. I Liked that Donovan is there to save Lainey and then he is the right Daddy for her. I Liked that Donovan wasn't just her daddy to keep her in line but he also helped her learn about her powers.

Oh this was so different I loved it. With supernatural thrown I it made an exciting story. Lainey and Donovan's romance was fun and the banter was so entertaining. There's danger still coming for Lainey and Donovan shows here the powers she holds.

This was a quick, fun read with a touch of the supernatural. I wasn't aware that Ms. Moore had written any PNR stuff and now I'm hoping for more. Lainey is an adorable character who isn't aware of who she truly is. Donovan is the reluctant hero she needs when she finds herself in a bad situation. Their romance isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but it brought a smile to my face.

This book was a fun, quick read. Full of hotness and adventure, I enjoyed the unique storyline. I'm not always into supernatural stories, but this was heavier on the relationship side so I found it quite enjoyable. Stella Moore is definitely a go-to author for me!

This standalone, HEA story took me so much by surprise I'm still not really sure what I think of it.
The premise, with Lainey having powers she never knew about and people out to grab her, is original and interesting. Not being a great fan of PNR, I was afraid that it would just be too much for me, but it struck the perfect balance, helped greatly by the personalities of both Lainey and Donovan being very grounded.
This story is surprising, fun and intriguing.

This is a darker DD/lg story without age-regression. There is plenty of spankings though and some other punishments. It is a pretty quick read but the plot was still engaging and there is plenty of spice. I loved it and it ended in an HEA.

This was such an entertaining story of 2 people who are different. We get a look at why both are the way they are, (no spoilers lol) and how they cope.
Lainey is reluctantly rescued by Donovan when someone tries to kidnap her. Lainey doesn't know at this stage what she is. Donovan makes her behave using Daddy techniques. So this has a Dd/lg and a bit of PNR twist to the story.
Throw in some drama, weather, and overall excitement for them both and you have a read that holds your attention from beginning to end.

I love this author. This book had crazy unexplainable weather, great plot lots of humor and was easy to read. This was originally in an anthology. As usual I can’t wait for more from this author
