Pretty Ruthless Monsters #4

Princess of Vengeance

Rate this book
Princess of Vengeance is the explosive final book in the Pretty Ruthless Monsters series.

The blurb below contains spoilers for the previous books.

So I'd HIGHLY recommend not reading it until you've finished reading the first three books in the series. You've been warned!

“Your life is forfeit.”

Those four words are more than a death sentence. They’re proof that happy endings were never meant for people like me.

I thought we’d gotten away with it. Ambrose is dead, and I should be celebrating with my men. Instead, I’m about to face the wrath of the Syndicate—and the only thing that will satisfy them is my blood.

But even with the odds stacked against us, I’ll never go down without a fight.

After all, I have something to fight for the men who’ve claimed me—body, heart, and soul.

They’re my Princes of Carnage.

And I’ll be their princess of vengeance.

Princess of Vengeance is a full-length new adult romance with dark themes, morally gray anti-heroes, and scorching heat. It is the final book in the series.

This was the perfect ending for Quinn and her guys. I always have a favorite with most RH, but it’s hard to choose between these guys. I loved them all for different reasons. I'm going to miss these filthy, dirty-talking men so much. The bonus epilogue was EVERYTHING! 🥹♥️!

Quinn. Nico. Atlas. Killian.
I know I’m gonna be in the minority here, but I did not love this final book of this series. I am a fan of Eva Ashwood and I think she’s a great author and that she can spin a great story. I found this book predictable and not new concepts. I found the plot similar to other series I have read. This book was the “Quinn show” instead of all four of them working together. She gets beaten and stabbed and is out of it for three days and then the first thing she wants to do when she wakes up is sexy time. I absolutely hate that “troupe” in books. First she was severely injured and being in healthcare I know it is so unrealistic to wake up and “go for it” with those types of injuries. Then she has been barely awake for days so no showering… that is just so yuck to me. When Malcolm offered her a deal, it was easy to predict what that deal would be and what she would do. The only surprising thing out of that whole situation is that initially the guys thought she betrayed them. That was their first thought when it was obvious why she did what she did. And then Malcolm is supposed to be this big super powerhouse, and he lets her run around with barely any supervision when he knows, that she doesn’t want to be in the current situation. She becomes friends with Imogen & she gives her some truths and says don’t question Malcolm outright he won’t like that and what does she do? She goes back and questions him outright on the new information that she found. And then at the end during the big showdown, Malcolm has already overpowered Quinn a few times and then she chases after him on her own and her guys just let her. It was like watching a bad horror movie where the dumb girl does something stupid. And surprise surprise he overpowered her, but somehow her guys showed up in time after being traumatized, beaten, shocked they were able to swim to a yacht and climb up on the yacht, which was very unrealistic. I found Quinn to make stupid mistake after stupid mistake I do not like the fact in stories or the main people/couples are separated for the majority of the book. I just found this conclusion to the series not anything new from other books and prior series/ authors. And then introducing other another guy who has mismatched eyes who will probably be in future books. How many mismatched eyes- guys can there be out there?

Let’s start by saying this…it is not one of my favorite series by Eva Ashwood but this was one bang of an ending to this series!
There was angst! Passion! Adventure and mystery! And don’t forget the SPICE!!
The writing was FANTASTIC as always so little to criticize here and one of the reasons I will always be one of the first hyped out about any book by miss ashwood!
If you followed my reviews from the books 1-3 you probably know I was not so impressed with the books but I have to admit that the final book did hit different especially with the storyline!
It got better and more interesting the further you read!
The plot twist was definitely something I didn’t expect and it took me by surprise but positively!
And the character development did get better this time. Instead of acting out and behaving childish and irrational like the MMCs would have done in the previous books this time it was the opposite!
You could actually see the development and the change and they appeared more mature and you could feel the emotions the author wanted to represent!
The spice is still as much as the rest of the book but this time it was less dirty talk that sounded the same which was a relief and made the scenes less awkward and more steamy!

All in all I didn’t expect the book to end so good but I am really happy it did!!

My advice! Continue reading even if you don’t like one or two scenes/books in this series you could always be positively surprised by the ending!

Overall the series was good. I’m not usually one to say there is too much spice in a book, but this series could easily have been 3 books instead of 4 if some of the scenes were cut. Some of the spice scenes made no sense and really took me out of the emotion of the story. No one wakes up after being stabbed or shot and nearly being unalived and wants to get it on. Worse than that, characters were coming out of battles or being held hostage for days and just jumping on each other - not a shower or even a damp washcloth in sight 😳 Torture and carving up bodies didn’t get me, it was the lack of hygiene!

I liked how Willow & her men were involved in the story but this wasn’t my favorite of all the series/books. But getting the bad guy in the end was satisfying

Basically the clubs are getting back together but the dark lotus people are allowed to kill Quinn because she didn’t actually kill the wife of that guy. But instead, the leader Malcolm decides to make Quinn marry him to save her.
Turns out he was once obsessed with her mother. When her mother refused to leave her father, Malcolm killed her.
Quinn figured out that she has to play the game until she can figure out how to get rid of Malcolm. It takes a couple weeks but she sets up a new shop that has a tunnel connected to a bar. She sneaks out through the bar to get her men and come up with a plan. They plan to get the dark lotus members to turn.
Quinn meets up with each of them and it turns out Malcolm has some hold over each of them and they’re all willing to turn. They set it up but when Malcolm shows for a meeting, one of the lotus guys had ratted them out and a blood bath ensues. Two of the lotus members are killed. Nico is tortured for a long ass time.
Quinn had hit the panic button on a phone that willow and the 3 brothers gave her. But right when she did, she lost the phone and then they were all drugged and taken to another location.
After torturing Nico for a long time, Elliot and Malcolm take a break. While they’re gone, one of the other lotus members figured out where they were and he knew they could get out but they were all in cages.
Then they come for Quinn and start torturing her which makes Killian go bananas and break his cage. They kill Elliot. But Malcolm gets away. They use Elliot’s eye to open a door and start their escape.
But by then Malcolm has sounded the alarm and all his mercenaries are there to kill Quinn and the gang. They end up cornered with no way out. And then the volokov brothers and willow show up. They get out and Malcolm is running away. So Quinn follows him and he gets on a yacht and she gets on it and she’s lost her gun so she grabs a hook but he sees her so a fight ensues.
She’s gonna lose. But then someone shoots at Malcolm and the men are on the boat because they swam out.
She kills Malcolm finally and throws him in the river.
Months later, the two other surviving members of the dark lotus syndicate get together with Quinn and form an alliance.
Business with the tattoo place and crime is good. Everything is magical and wonderful the end.

*SPOILERS AT THE END*

⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 ; OVERALL SERIES RATING

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 ; SPICE

🖤🖤🖤🖤/5 ; ROMANCE

Quinn is in charge of a biker gang after her father’s death in the previous book. She then goes into a marriage of convenience with a rival gangs leader. Nico is the head of the gang whereas Killian and Atlas are his right-hand men. Quinn enters into a relationship with all three. This is rocky in the beginning but they soon form a strong alliance built off trust, love, and respect for another while fighting off several antagonists.

Sooo I skimmed a lot of this series, not gonna lie. I enjoyed the love the men felt for Quinn and the overall plot. Yet, I felt like something was missing :/ I really enjoyed the previous series within this world but this one fell flat. I can’t really even explain why I didn’t like it as much but it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

🎶 I know heaven's a thing. I go there when you touch me, honey. Hell is when I fight with you 🎶

Quinn (h) thought killing Ambrose would set them free. Instead, it’s made her the Syndicate’s next target—and the only thing that will appease them is her blood. But she’s not the girl who runs anymore. With the Princes of Carnage (H) at her back and vengeance in her heart, Quinn is ready to burn it all down. Because they made her a queen… now she’ll become their reckoning.

─── .¸✿¸.•❤•.❀• THOUGHTS¸•❀.•❤•.¸✿¸.⋆ ───

“This is the best choice I have.” I gesture at the blood soaking through my shirt. “Look where fighting got us. Look where loyalty and love got us. On our knees with guns to our heads.” I shake my head like I’m disappointed in all of us. “What we had was good while it lasted. The four of us… yeah, it was fun. But it’s not worth dying for.”

COME ONNNNNN. The only reason this part made me mad was because they immediately assumed she had betrayed them again when she slashed through her tattoos , went to Malcolm, and told him she had only stayed with them for convenience and was marrying Malcolm for power. How did they not connect that she was doing it to protect them? That’s literally been her entire motivation from the very beginning. She has been risking everything for them, time and time again, and yet they were too blind to see it. Instead, they treated her like a traitor. They were hurt, angry, and suddenly unsure whether they could trust her—when she has never truly wavered in her loyalty. Even when she set up a meeting with Nico, they doubted her. Really? You’ve told each other “I love you.” You’ve been on the run together. You’ve sacrificed everything for each other. And you still don’t believe she was doing it in their best interest? When she finally explained herself, I was frustrated. She should not have had to explain at all. It was so obvious. But apparently, the boys needed it spelled out word for word before they could process that she had not betrayed them.

The most frustrating part of this book is that whenever something bad happens, their immediate solution is to start having sex. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but she actually struggles with it, and yet it keeps happening. Something awful happens? They start hooking up. She’s sad? Killian is suddenly there, and they’re in bed. She’s overwhelmed? They’re having sex again. Even when they’re injured—stitches literally popping open—they still keep going. I’m not even complaining, because sure, it’s entertaining, but it gets repetitive. After every single conflict, you know exactly what’s coming next: they’re about to hook up, either in that chapter or the one right after. It’s definitely an EYE ROLL and a sigh.

[Nico]

“I love you,” I tell her when we break apart, even though the words don’t feel adequate to describe the way I feel inside. “More than I’ve ever loved anything in this fucked-up world. More than I thought I was capable of loving. You’re everything, mia cara. Everything.”

He was going insane without her, but I love that he took charge again and started rebuilding the Princes slowly—for the sake of getting Quinn back and making sure she didn’t have to face Malcolm alone. They were making moves behind the scenes, and while he needed her desperately, every time she gave the secret knock code it gave him immense relief. He has always been hopelessly in love with her, unable to fathom a life without her. When she claimed him again with the tattoo and he improved his, it solidified that connection. There is such a visceral love in the space when they are together 💗💌❤️🤍.

[Atlas]

“You’re home,” Atlas adds, his voice rough with emotion. “The only home I’ve ever really known.”

HOMEEE 🤍❤️💗💌💖. These two share such a special bond, and I love that it’s rooted in their shared love for the chronicles. Amidst all the chaos, that’s what they kept working on together, and I find that so sweet. He is the softest with her, always knowing the right words to say. They are basically the same person—two peas in a pod of chaos. And when she was being tortured, he felt it. He felt it so deeply. Honestly, I don’t think he ever fully recovered his hearing after the aftermath, but he never brought it up again. To him, it was worth it, because he was able to protect her.

[Killian]

“You’re the heart I never thought I had,” Killian says quietly, his hand finding hers.

MY BABY. I have such a soft spot for him because he is a gentle giant who only wanted his mom to love him. Instead, he turned his heart to stone until it was unfeeling, unable to read people outside of his inner circle. Still, Quinn understood him. She looked beyond his signals and saw the truth. When he was upset, she knew what he needed, and when she struggled, he gave her what she needed in return—whether it was release, pain, or comfort. They saw each other in ways no one else could. The highlight for me was Killian and Princess 🥹💕💞🩷🪄🤍. He is such a cat dad, and every scene between them was so wholesome. It showed a softer side of him that made me love him even more.

─── .¸✿¸.•❤•.❀• OVERALL¸•❀.•❤•.¸✿¸.⋆ ───

I am still unclear how I feel about this . They really should have had a plan B for Elliot, because it was obvious he was going to betray them. I feel terrible for Imogen, because she was the first one on Quinn’s side, and she did not deserve to be let down like that. I was glad to see the development of the Collective between Cassandra and Owen, but Rafael’s loss hit hard. He knew the high stakes, he took a chance, and he did not survive. That was devastating. I am glad they rebuilt, and Malcolm finally got what he deserved. But most importantly, Willow and her boys CAME THROUGH. The found family energy, the friendship, and the unspoken understanding between them all really shined. That was the heart of it for me.

I am a little late on this review life and all!! There may be spoilers in this review!!!!

I was so patiently waiting for Princess of Vengeance to come out, I was so excited that I was able to get the ARC for Princess of Vengeance!!! Eva Ashwood does not disappoint in her writing. She wrapped this series up beautifully, I didn't want it to end, I was so invested in Quinn, Atlas, Nico, and Killian's story and development of the characters throughout the series. This book picks right back up from where we left off with a cliffhanger in Bonds of Obsession where she has forfeited her life, and wondering what her fate would be and what the fate of her three men. I had thoughts on where this was going to go but knew that the Queen herself would write an amazing continuing story giving us that HEA that we wanted for Quinn, Atlas, Nico, Killian and of coarse Princess(the cat):) And the spicy in this one still so hot!!! Especially one chapter was hot hot hot when you think it can't get any more freakier bam you get hit with a chapter like no other. To see how these four's bond was unbreakable how they continued to fight for one another through all the bull from Malcom and the Dark Lotus. Malcolm really made me mad the way he was bending the rules for his own gains. I felt so bad for Quinn having to learn why here dad had the marker and what led up to her being Malcolm obsession. At first when she accepted the deal from Malcolm for the her men's lives to be spared I was so mad like she already made all these other bad choices/deals but at the same time knew why she did it, she was saving her men. Quinn had a lot to go through in this book and she came out on top, she had a master plan which as we all know succeeds but with some bumps. I like how she intertwined Willow and her men Malice, Ransom and Victor who help Quinn out. There is so much more in this book that got wrapped, they got to start over and have their happy life, The one part I do wish was one more confrontation between Quinn and Zoey where Zoey finally get what she deserves. I know I read this book so fast that I am definitely going to be reading it again. I highly recommend this book for book lovers of dark romance.

******need to read 1 through 3 before indulging in this one
*****also this is a dark romance which includes them that may be triggering for some. please read at your own discretion

This series started off strong and I thought it just got better through the first three books. It was steamy, dark, violent, and a hot reverse harem. I love a bad ass FMC.

The final book (book 4) let me down a bit. When Malcolm found them at their safe house and made Quinn the offer to spare her men in exchange for marrying him, it turned so cringe. Quinn’s over the top display of doing a total 180 on her men was awkward and totally unnecessary. Slicing through their tattoos with a piece of glass? Ridiculous. Even Malcolm laughed afterwards because he knew it was all fake. Yet her men who supposedly always know what she’s thinking and feeling buy it at first? When they know the alternative is death for all of them? Ugh stupid.

By the end I felt like there were some unresolved topics. Her father’s death was never really explained or talked about. I kept thinking it would come back to Malcolm or Ambrose. If Quinn married Malcolm, shouldn’t she have gotten his money, house, etc when he died? Even if she didn’t want it, I feel like it would have been a benefit of having married him. They made a big deal about Zoey but we never see a final battle or confrontation, just a plan to push her out of the territory. Seemed like a lot of hype and then just dissolved.

Also, I am all about the smut and streamy scenes, but can they really not just let their bodies heal a bit after being tortured, stabbed, etc? It was kind of a turn off at that point.

Overall the series started strong, but I personally think the final book could have been better. One of my book pet peeves is when authors introduce all of these little nuggets of info or side stories that never tie back in or get resolved. Why bother adding the extra layers if you’re just going to abandon them? It seems like a wasteful filler at that point.

The Pretty Ruthless Monsters series may not be my top favorite from Eva Ashwood’s impressive collection, but Princess of Vengeance delivered one heck of a finale! It was an explosive, thrilling conclusion that tied everything together in the most satisfying way and made the entire journey totally worth it.

The first two books started off a bit slow, but the payoff is massive. As the series progressed, the tension, plot twists, and emotional stakes built up to a spectacular climax. Eva Ashwood does not hold back here. The female main character is fierce, resilient, and impossible not to root for. And the male leads? Just as powerful, complex, and absolutely swoon-worthy, each with their own charm and depth. They were the perfect counterparts to her strength, forming a dynamic that felt intense, passionate, and genuine.

Expect betrayal, angst, spice, and deep love—all the things that make an Ashwood book unforgettable. The villains met satisfying ends (let’s be real, those deaths were deliciously well-deserved), and the final battle scenes? Nail-biting, heart-pounding, movie-level intensity. I was nervously panting through those last action-packed moments—it felt like watching the climax of an epic film where the fate of everything teeters on the edge.

And yes… the spice is SPICY. Steamy, detailed, and oh-so-Eva. She never skimps on heat, and this book might just raise your blood pressure in all the right ways.

Without giving any spoilers, I’ll just say that this is a book that finishes what it started and then some. A thrilling, exhilarating, and excellent finale to a dark, gripping series. If you’ve come this far with the Pretty Ruthless Monsters, Princess of Vengeance will leave you breathless—and very, very satisfied.

This is the BEST book Eva has ever written! I gasped, I cried, I laughed and my heart was so full while breaking at the same time, there was plot twist after plot twist, some truly wtf moments, and I believe we also found our next characters for her upcoming series! SO much happens here!

I know I usually say I don't have favorites when it comes to Eva's men, and I usually don't. I truly love them all, and I ADORED Nico and Killian, but Atlas has my whole entire heart, and I never want it back. I love that protective, sensitive, beautiful hilarious man! he's easily one of the best book boyfriends ever, and I know I'm going to read this series again and again just for his and Quinns connection alone. I can't even put it into words adequately, but even though all four of them found a truly special and romantic relationship with one another, for me personally, Quinn and Atlas were just on a whole other level!

As for the action-- maaaaan our author went heavy on it all! We see familiar faces, and we see this foursome who has been through so much hardship and pain really become a family and support each other through every single hurdle and come out stronger... even when they think they can't possibly win another fight, they always come out on top because they have each other. Ahhh, I know I said it last time, but this has got to be the most romantic series Eva has written! Plus I swear she puts cracks in her books and I don't even want to be cured from this addiction -- I just need more!

Go read this book! it's my favorite in the entire series, and just one of the best books I've ever read, period. You won't be disappointed!

Overall, I totally agree with other reviews in this series. Take out a big chunk of the sex scenes and oart of the story that stretched out, and you could easily remove a whole book.
Things started OK in the first couple of books, but it started falling apart with this secret syndicate that didn't really do anything.

In true fashion, this author has her characters having sex when they have life-threatening injuries. Barely survived, but hey... Let's get it on! It was just so unbelievable, and i couldn't even read it. I ended up skimming again. It's such a shame.

Nico mentions to Quinn that she never met his dad, but she did. I guess he doesn't remember taking her there? Or the author doesn't remember (more likely).

I felt like the end was a bit anti-climactic. They spentballbthis time planning and plotting, only to be betrayed (again!) and captured. After torture, they managed to break free and, this time, kill Malcolm. It just felt like other parts of the book repeated again.
Then there was the whole idea of recruiting Elliott last, but then they didn't. They knew he would be difficult but just ignored it.

The whole Tyrant thing just fizzled out, too. I would have liked more of an ending for them.

I won't read this again, and I think I would only recommend the first two.

Well we’re thrown right back into the shit show! After that cliff hanger of book 3 I really had no clue how this was going to go…. I was not expecting this!

Without spoilers I just kept thinking Quinn is such a bad ass! ….And her men are lethal! 🥵

Then when you think things can’t get any worse Quinn is offered a deal she can’t say no to if she wants to protect her men, not that she had much of a choice. My heart broke for the guys while Quinn was telling them she was leaving and what came next!
It’s so hard to express my feelings here without giving spoilers but you will know what I mean when you get to this scene.

But while Quinn is stuck with the enemy she’s not going down without a fight she’s plotting and rebuilding. She’s determined to get back to her guys.

As always the spicy scenes are SPICY! The love they have for eachother is beautiful, they are literally ready to burn the world down for eachother.

I loved the cameos from some past characters and the show down at the end… explosive! This was the perfect ending to the series. Be sure to download the bonus scene too for glimpse at their future life.

I’m sitting here secretly hoping we get a next gen book.

Amazing Ending!!!

Eva Ashwood has delivered another amazing series for us. Here, we get the conclusion to her Pretty Ruthless Monster series. When I got the book, there was nothing in this world that mattered to me except reading it from start to finish. I absolutely loved this series, and I'm sad to see it end, but she did an amazing job, and it holds your attention until the last page.

We picked up in this book where book 3 left us on that cliffhanger and jumped right back into the acrion. The twists and turns and all the actions that lead to the end are amazing. I never knew what was gonna happen, and if I thought it was going to go one way, it went the completely different direction just to keep you wanting more and guessing what would happen. These characters went on the best growth through the series, and the arc of the plot was smooth through the series. They know when to rely on one another and when to take a stand alone. They make the perfect group.

Grab book 1 now if you haven't started, and if you're here from book 3, dive on it and ride out this last book of an adventure and send Quinn and her boys into the best HEA.

This was a great book but they left a plot hole at the end with Zoey and ‘her crew’ where they just kind of mention they will try to get some territory and that’s it. I was a little disappointed that the plot with her and the old princes of carnage crew was left unfinished.

Also, what happened to the decals she made for them in the earlier book? I kept waiting for her to eventually give them to the guys but she pretty much had them made, was going to give them to the guys and then overheard that they had been spying on her. I thought the book said she took those with her? Maybe they were thrown out or destroyed in the fire? Kind of odd that this was just never mentioned again?

The rest of this was super good, the MMCs are next level touch her and 💀 but it was giving 10/10 energy the whole time. The way that Quinn was written was impressive and layered. She is relatable, strong, compassionate, funny and caring all while being tough as nails. The amount of stuff she has been put through yet comes out the other side was crazy.

Just WOW!! This was such an epic ending and this book pulled ZERO punches. Quinn and her Princes have been through so much. They have suffered so much physically, emotionally and psychologically and yet they never gave up on each other and their belief in each other. The way Killian, Nico and Atlas showed their love and expressed it with their actions and words was truly amazing. Quinn always accepting of them, their past and sacrificing so much for her men. They made it through the odds, not without loss but still they made it.
Let's not forget the SPICY times were SPICING!!! group scenes, separate times together... let's me honest ANY time together. Killian has taken me over. the way he changed so significantly did something to me heart. Amazing ending to this crew. that bonus scene.. perfect.
Also I am hoping that intro on Kane is a reveal of who the next books are about... another family of 3 brothers, 2 of which are twins... im intrigued.

Eva reminds everyone why she's the queen of cliffhangers and Reverse Harem. 🖤😈🖤
The writing is absolutely phenomenal 👏 I read a lot of books and Eva has a particular writing style that makes you truly feel and relate to what is going on with the MCs. I'm impressed every time I get the honor of reading a new EA novel.

PoV picks up immediately following book three, and it doesn't let up until the very end!
Be honest with me: Did the way Ronan was described make you think next series, or was that just me?!
The ending was insane and felt like a climatic action flick sequence. Alliances, betrayal, torture, revenge, feral rage, escape sequence of epic proportions, and finally justice.

Willow and her men make multiple appearances, which I loved as their story is one of my absolute favorites.
That bonus scene was so precious and honesty unexpected for Quinn for some reason but well deserved 👏

Eva Ashwood knows how to play with my heart. This insane roller coaster ride gave me whiplash, had my heart racing, and gave me such a high. What a perfect end to this insane ride.

Quinn is such an amazing fmc. No matter how many times she gets knocked down, she gets right back up, ready to fight. I’ve loved watching her grow and her arc has been beautiful. You really can’t help but root for her.

Nico, Atlas, and Killian stood on business. Their obsession and love for Quinn was so intense. Their chemistry with her was boiling. And I loved the brotherhood between them. Their relationship with each other, the family they created with each other, was a serious highlight of the whole series. I loved watching them care for each other.

I seriously don’t want this series to be over, and I hope to see them again.

I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary review.

4.4/5

First let me say, stellar writing as always! The book picked up right where book 3 left off and it never let up.
Quinn is the perfect badass FMC in that she's got common sense. I see so many authors take it to such an extreme that the character comes across as not only unlikeable, but unbelievable. Quinn is neither. She relies on her guys when needed and doesn't go off half cocked at the expense of others just to prove how tough she is.
The spice is just right and it didn't feel like it overwhelmed the plot or that scenes were added just for the sake of spice. I cannot stress enough how well rounded this book was.
This was easily a one sitting read. I'd put it down for a few and always came right back ready for the next scene to unfold.
As a reverse harem girlie, this book was ::chef's kiss::

wow… just wow

This was the perfect wrap up for the series in my opinion. We’ve got a lot that happens between Quinn and her guys and then you add in the Syndicate and their old clubs in to the mix and there’s soooooo much. But it works. I love that Quinn always finds a way. She’s always trying to think about what can I do to get my butt out of a sticky situation. Personally for me… the highlight of this book is Killian as a cat dad. Anytime him and the cat are in a scene together I giggle and it makes my heart melt. Too cute. The spice is there… even when they gotta sneak around to make it happen. I eat Eva’s books up every time and this series is just another of hers that I really enjoyed.

Princess Of Vengeance is the fourth and final book in the Pretty Ruthless Monsters Series. It is a dark, contemporary, why choose, new adult romance with morally grey antiheroes, a bada$$ FMC, intrigue, mystery, suspense, action, and steam.

Quinn and her men, Killian, Atlas, and Nico, finally get their well fought for HEA in this amazing conclusion to their story. I loved the action, the twisty turns, the emotion, the spice, the intrigue. In short, I loved everything about this book and series.

The writing, flow, pace, plot, characters, character development, relationship development, storytelling, storyline, and world building are all fabulous.

I cannot wait for more stories from this amazing author.

Excellent conclusion to this series!
Wow! What a beginning! I had no idea how Quinn and her men were going to get out of their deaths when the Syndicate called their lives forfeit. But 1st, Quinn was chained and stabbed by all members of the Syndicate and in front of her men. Each member must stab her with a knife.
Quinn and Her men kept getting captured by the Syndicate and surrounded. To save her men she agrees to marry Malcolm, leader of the Syndicate.
She hates him and can't even stand to be in his presence.
The chemistry between Quinn and her men is hotter than ever!! Nico, Atlas and Killian are all amazing and so caring for Quinn. They treat her like precious gems.
I couldn't put this book down. So exciting and lots of hot sex!

This is a review of the full 4 book series, not just this book.

This series did not need to be 4 books... the plot itself was not complex enough nor did it dive deep enough to warrant being a full 4 books. The character development and evolution was just okay and I definitely felt as though the themes were super repetitive and did not evolve at a fast enough face if at all. We also did not get a conflict resolution with the Twisted Tyrants which was a bit disappointing.

I wanted more from the relationship between Quinn and Willow (MFC from Filthy Wicked Psychos) and River (MFC from Dirty Broken Savages), and while we did get some cross over I WANTED MORE.

MFC: Quinn Byrne Kent
MMC: Nico Morelli, Atlas Demaro, Killian Graves

Loved this!

Quinn went through a lot in this book. Her guys never once waiver while she's in an impossible situation and the connections she makes as she realizes she has friends. I love the way other characters make appearances in other series and give perspective on situations like Quinn is in. All of Quinn's family shows up for her and she's really understanding that her life is changing for the better. She does learn some things that are hard to deal with in the moment but Nico, Jillian and Atlas all help her through those moments and the love they have is only strengthened. I hope that we get a bonus book that's set a few years later and we see how Quinn and her men are doing!

Starting this off with I am a HUUUGE Eva Ashwood fan. I usually eat up a book - staying up til midnight on a release to start reading and sacrificing all sleep to finish the book before going to work the next morning.

This series was a little slower for me, I had a hard time with book 3 and actually put it down for a little bit. I was so lucky to the ARC of Princess of Vengeance and it gave me the push I needed to get back to finishing book 3 (which of course picked up an few chapters after I stopped reading) and I ATE UP book 4.

Plot twists, angst, spice, betrayal- it has everything you want and Eva always delivers!

Wow! What an epic ending to this series 👏🏼
I've loved every book written by Eva, but I must say this has been my favourite of her books.
We welcome back Quinn, Nico, Atlas, and Killian after we were left on a cliffhanger from book three.
I won't give any spoilers. This book will have you hooked. I wish the MMCs had more of their POV, but I understand more focus was needed on Quinn (due to Malcolms involvement and wanting her). I love that previous characters from other books made a reappearance again ❤️
Ergh! the extended chapter, with a possible setup for second gen! I did wonder why there are no siblings for Em...

Plot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice 🌶 🌶 🌶. 5 😏

Happy Reading 📚

I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. All I can say about this conclusion is just wow! So much happened in it but unfortunately I can't put it all down in this review because it would give out too many spoilers. I'll just say be prepared to go through the wringer with Quinn as she tries to navigate The Syndicate and the repercussions of the ending of book 3 except now Malcolm is showing his true colours towards her. Which of course brings out Quinn's strength and resilience to epic affect. Orchestrating and pulling strings behind his back. Some great plot twists, a few sad parts and one bloody (quite literally) brilliant ending. One hell of a series and a finale. Loved it.

I was so thrilled to read this! All the twists and turns that this book took had me up until 3am to get it done. There was no putting it down once I got started. Killian will always be my ride or die in this series. I understand why Quinn does what she does but it felt like a knife to the gut when she makes the drastic move to save her men. Eva Ashwood just has a way to tear out your heart but makes sure all is good and sweet at the end. The Wicked Filthy Pyschos are always a pleasure to see again. I received this book in advance for an honest review and I can say I have honestly loved reading this book any everything she has written.
