Wizard of Oz retelling
In general aspects, this was a really good retelling. The build up and backstory of every character was amazing and a really unique way of telling a old tale, adding the twist of vampires and demons and witches and fairies and etc was super unique the way this author did it. 2/3 of the book. I was absolutely hooked on. But at the end, once it's time for Dorothy's legendary jump into a new world. It is basically treated like an afterthought in my opinion. it's like a fade to Black moment. It's about maybe a page long and that's it. And that was really disappointing to me and the end also leaves you wondering. Not a cliffhanger but kind of like one because you don't even know if they fully end up together and there's a lot of unanswered questions. And even though they do this little memory thing like a glimpse into the future, even that isn't quite certain. So I'm not sure if maybe the author is planning a second one or not, but it kind of feels like the last few chapters are unfinished.

This is an interesting modern update on The Wizard of Oz with some much spookier additions beyond a Wicked Witch of the West. The main characters are representative of the Oz characters, but given more detailed personalities, which are entertaining. There are also some serious new supernatural characters who are determined to steal the Ruby Slippers.
I received a free copy of this book from the author for my voluntary honest review. The story has a good pace and builds to an exciting final clash between good and evil. My only criticism is with the very evil step-father being such an unnecessary twist in the story.

Average good read
First time I came across a PG-13 reverse harem book. Attraction from time to time and the sex happens behind the scenes in the end of the story. Sexy moments. No swearing in it. The only direct one on one magic scene is shown at the end of it. Oz is talked about but never shown in it. All stays in todays modern world. For the most part just a average story. Read one time and it fades away from your memory rapidly.

I enjoyed this quick read. It is an intriguing modern twist on the classic story. The storyline left me wanting more. I was expecting smut with it being a why choose, and it just didn't deliver any, in my opinion.

Left me wanting
Okay its land of Oz themed but with the grand daughter. It took some time to really get into this book with all the storms along the journey but once I got into it it ended leaving me wanting more.

I wish you had taken the time to develop the relationships and the story a little more, everything seemed a little rushed and too fast.

Cute modern retelling of wizard of oz and the feature generation. Would consider this a YA. The RH aspect is suggested through out the book but no confirmation until the end.
