I really enjoyed this book after an initial rather confusing start. So many books and films typically throw so many characters at you within the first few minutes that it can be bewildering and a bit discouraging. But as soon as we got to know the personalities in some depth the book came alive. All the characters are vividly drawn and really interesting and likable. The story cracked along at a good piss around the world and the outcome was satisfying. Unusually, I really enjoyed reading the acknowledgment and it was quite touching to see a Richard’s kindness at this point. I do indeed look forward to more adventures from this unlikely group of people-especially because most of them are getting older, like myself!
