★★★★! The Seduction, part 2 of 4. The Seducer is still set on seduction, but at times wonders who is seducing who!

In The Seduction, part 1 for-hire seducer Vaughn has been engaged to seduce recent college graduate and paralegal, Keely Fawes. The story followed them as Vaughn was forced to step up his game, when Keely proved to be a bit of a challenge while the readers tried to decipher the mystery of who the villains are.
The Seduction (part 2) Vaughn and Keely are both reeling from the deployments at end of part 1. As Keely delves into some good news she quickly finds ties to her past. Meanwhile Vaughn opens up and we see a broken and flawed man/boy on a vengeance.
Their sexual tension and chemistry is like a drug leading to some steamy sex scenes as the lines blur on who is seducing who. Just as things were moving along smoothly their worlds implode…. With the uncovering of more secrets, hints at deceit and vindictive villains…. Bumpy road ahead!

This part starts just after the previous one left off. Keely ran away from Vaughn, but he doesn't give up so easily and shows up at her doorstep to clear the air. He manages to convince her to see each other again, Keely agrees but only if they go out on a "real" date before going any further (yes, they still didn't have sex although covered almost all other activities). So they go, but their date is not as "normal" as Keely probably expected, Vaughn took care of it (Keely one on one with her hand under the table - hot? hell yeah!). And there's more action afterwards, at her house and further in the story at his house, they're gettin' some.... and I mean they're really gettin' it.
In the meantime we find out that Keely inherited huge amount of money from a man she didn't really know that much and is now a millionaire. His family is not very happy about it, especially his son Brent. And I'm not 100% sure but I think he might be trouble. Vaughn is demanded by mysterious client to finish his job, Keely that is, but he is not so sure about it anymore and finally refuses to do it. We also get to know a little about his past, and the story gets complicated I must say. "I wanted to protect her, now, I have no choice but to destroy her. One way or another, she's the key to my revenge."
We have a sneak peek to part 3 at the end and I have to say plot is getting more and more interesting....
But what's the most important is the fact that Vaughn is back, with his dirrrrty, dirrrrty, filthy, horny mouth. What can I say?

Vaughn's supposed to be "The Seducer" and Keely was just suppose to be a job but that's not how things are working out in this second installment.
This story could just be an erotica romance and that would be fine but it's oh so much more. There's all kinds of little twists and turns. Soo many questions and not enough answers! Luckily, we do get a few answers in this book but again, that only leads to more questions. (I'm dying to know more about what his brother did!)
There's a crazy, BIG revelation in this book that I did not see coming. And we finally get some background on Vaughn. There's so many ways this can unfold and it's shear torture trying to figure it out.
And yes, yes...don't worry, there's still plenty of steamy, sexy scenes to make you happy. That hasn't changed! Although I'm really curious if anything will once Keely finds out what Vaughn's profession is!
Thankfully, we still get both their POVs and that's the killer because we know what Vaughn wants to do but will he? At this point, I'm not so sure he can. The next book is gonna be a doozy! I cannot wait till June 26th!!

I didn't think this could get any hotter god I was wrong ;)
So things have definitely got really in this book Keely has found out some stuff that is goin 2 change her life then she gets fired in her r4 nothing an then there is Vaughan who is not giving up until he gets a piece of Keely but with everything turned upside Keely's walls she as built 2 4get about Vaughan they r slowly bein pulled down

In this second installment, Keely finds out she is inheriting 500 million dollars from a deceased client of the law firm she works at.
She had worked with him on his will and he was really fond of her but never did she expect to be named the sole beneficiary of the majority of his estate.
His adopted children are all in an uproar.
Rumors have been spread about her at work, which ends in her employment being terminated.
Keely and Vaughn continue to bring the STEAM to this story.
They get pretty freaky at a restaurant and on Vaughn's front terrace.
And FINALLY they have actual SEX and I almost exploded from how hot it was!!
Vaughn finds out about Keely's inheritance and who she is to Ashcroft and now he has a different agenda.
It seemed as if he was starting to develop feelings for her but now he may use her to exact his revenge!!!

Keely knows he's hiding something, but wants him so bad, she's past the point of caring. Vaughn's scared his secrets are catching up to him, and he is confused by what he feels when he's with Keely. Does he want to protect her, or destroy her? Only time will tell.
I loved we get dual POV, & this series is still super hot!!! I liked we got a little more of Vaughn's past, & look forward to getting more answers! Can't wait for book 3!!! :D

That was so good, SO GOOD. It was much better than the first novella, it packed quite the suspenseful punch. It literally picks up where The Seduction 1 left off. Keely has made it a point to avoid Vaughn after overhearing him on the phone while at his house. He's tried calling several times but she's hurt and confused. Add to that the earth shattering news that she has inherited the estate of a recently deceased client, and Keely is in over her head.
This time around the suspense is fantastic! There's mystery surrounding Keely's state of fortune, Vaughn's mysterious involvement in it all, and the outside forces working to disgrace Keely in order to claim her sudden inheritance. But don't fret, many questions are answered here, even with new ones surfacing. We learn more about Vaughn and his past, HUGE revelations come out concerning Keely, others about the children of the deceased Ashcroft...honestly never saw them coming. I couldn't put this installment down.
Of course we're left with a cliffy and the sneak peek at book 3 did NOTHING to ease my frantic mind! The steam was CRAYYZZYY! Seriously, wow. Vaughn's also changing and he can't control it, but now the game is changing and I'm so worried for Keely. I really like her as a character and hope she gets the upper hand in the end, all those people trying to ruin her, grrr. I read somewhere book 3 releases June 30...yes please! That sneak peek was brutal, and I hurt every time I think about what it could mean! Can't wait for the third, loved this.

She's telling him about how her entire life is falling apart and he's like "Cool...so when are we going to fuck?" This makes me mad at HER, because she doesn't have enough self-respect to expect to be treated better.

My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book... for more, visit Punya Reviews...
After finishing The Seduction 2, the new installment in The Seduction series, my reaction was pure ‘Dafuq?!’. I mean I might just kill Vaughn for what he’s planning on doing to Keely... *stares at the blank space*
We meet the self-proclaimed (and not very far from the truth) ‘The Seducer’, Vaughn, when the story opened in book 1, quite literally ‘in the act’. It’s his job to seduce women in exchange of an exorbitant price. He f*cks them, takes some kinda proof of his deed (pics etc.) and leaves. But, he always leaves them completely satisfied, which equals to another job successfully done! The reasons behind these ‘cases’ vary from client to client and Vaughn is yet to lose his perfect score... until he meets his latest case, a paralegal named Keely. She refuses to be snared into his dangerous charms, at least not on the first few tries, leaving Vaughn confounded. Yah he’s that confident about his abilities. *wink*
Keely’s reason for avoiding Vaughn was just that, his superb good-looks and dangerous air makes her knees weak, maybe even scares her a little too. Then there’s his dirty talk, oh damn! She doesn’t even think she can handle a man like that, so having an affair was not going to be a wise idea no matter how tempting he is. But then, an orphaned, not very adventurous and barely scraping by Keely learns of this huge inheritance that was left to her by a recently deceased client of hers. She can’t imagine why!
When things heat up between them, things also take a turn for the bad. Keely doesn’t know much about Vaughn, though ultimately she can’t stop herself from falling for him. Vaughn, on the other hand, has discovered Keely has become a sort of obsession for him. But how deep would he let her in? This is one question he’d avoid at all cost cause he doesn’t do ‘love’ and relationships.
None. Never.
This installment picks up from where it was left off in The Seduction 1. Keely is still reeling from Vaughn’s betrayal (a phone call she accidentally eavesdropped on... between Vaughn and the person who hired him to ‘nail’ Keely). Even though she runs, Vaughn wouldn’t let her be. He’s adamant about having her, yet oddly enough, they don’t have sex for a long time in the story even when the chemistry has been sizzling throughout. The tension is high. Something keeps Vaughn from not treating her like he has treated those numerous women he’d slept with in the past.
The mystery behind Keely’s sudden inheritance and its link to Vaughn surfaces too. Then there’s a revelation, also regarding said inheritance, that shakes her to the core. This is what finally makes Keely to run to Vaughn, who was avoiding her at that point to confront some aspects of his long-buried past.
Irony, anyone?
I had some ideas about why Keely inherited that money, so the revelation didn’t really come as that much of a surprise. Instead, what surprised me the most was what Vaughn decides when he hears of it after an evening of mind-blowing sex. I won’t tell you what it is but I’m not happy. At all. Whatever his reasons are, for I’m a little protective of our h.

After finishing The Seduction 2, the new installment in The Seduction series, my reaction was pure ‘Dafuq?!’. I mean I might just kill Vaughn for what he’s planning on doing to Keely... *stares at the blank space*
We meet the self-proclaimed (and not very far from the truth) ‘The Seducer’, Vaughn, when the story opened in book 1, quite literally ‘in the act’. It’s his job to seduce women in exchange of an exorbitant price. He f*cks them, takes some kinda proof of his deed (pics etc.) and leaves. But, he always leaves them completely satisfied, which equals to another job successfully done! The reasons behind these ‘cases’ vary from client to client and Vaughn is yet to lose his perfect score... until he meets his latest case, a paralegal named Keely. She refuses to be snared into his dangerous charms, at least not on the first few tries, leaving Vaughn confounded. Yah he’s that confident about his abilities. *wink*
Keely’s reason for avoiding Vaughn was just that, his superb good-looks and dangerous air makes her knees weak, maybe even scares her a little too. Then there’s his dirty talk, oh damn! She doesn’t even think she can handle a man like that, so having an affair was not going to be a wise idea no matter how tempting he is. But then, an orphaned, not very adventurous and barely scraping by Keely learns of this huge inheritance that was left to her by a recently deceased client of hers. She can’t imagine why!
When things heat up between them, things also take a turn for the bad. Keely doesn’t know much about Vaughn, though ultimately she can’t stop herself from falling for him. Vaughn, on the other hand, has discovered Keely has become a sort of obsession for him. But how deep would he let her in? This is one question he’d avoid at all cost cause he doesn’t do ‘love’ and relationships.
None. Never.
This installment picks up from where it was left off in The Seduction 1. Keely is still reeling from Vaughn’s betrayal (a phone call she accidentally eavesdropped on... between Vaughn and the person who hired him to ‘nail’ Keely). Even though she runs, Vaughn wouldn’t let her be. He’s adamant about having her, yet oddly enough, they don’t have sex for a long time in the story even when the chemistry has been sizzling throughout. The tension is high. Something keeps Vaughn from not treating her like he has treated those numerous women he’d slept with in the past.
The mystery behind Keely’s sudden inheritance and its link to Vaughn surfaces too. Then there’s a revelation, also regarding said inheritance, that shakes her to the core. This is what finally makes Keely to run to Vaughn, who was avoiding her at that point to confront some aspects of his long-buried past.
Irony, anyone?
I had some ideas about why Keely inherited that money, so the revelation didn’t really come as that much of a surprise. Instead, what surprised me the most was what Vaughn decides when he hears of it after an evening of mind-blowing sex. I won’t tell you what it is but I’m not happy. At all. Whatever his reasons are, for I’m a little protective of our h.

Vaughn...hijo de su Madre! (4.5 Stars❤️)
Dayum, things just got even better. I don't think we knew enough of Vaughn in book 1. Only that he enjoys ruining people and getting payed for it. Now his mind is stuck on Keely after she walked out on him. Poor Vaughn. He's Alpha/Dom ego is broken. Don't worry, he makes up for it. Vaughn is a man of many talents and he keeps his promises. I'm enjoying Keely's willing to try and keep up with him. A very strong minded heroine. Oh and the old man, Ashcroft, left her Millions and it turned out to be legal. Of course, those stupid money hungry kids are not going to make it easy on her. Can I remind you guys that I hate Carter and I sure as hell hate Brent. Dicks!
I love how everything is unraveling. We learn so much more about Vaughn's past. It will clear your minds and set you up for what's to come. Yes, there's another Cliffy and I can't frigging wait. There was an excerpt in my Arc but I didn't want to read it. I want it to be a surprise. I really don't care how many short stories this series will give as long as she keeps them this interesting. After the way things ended in the previous book I wasn't sure I even wanted to keep going with the series. But I decided to give it another chance and see what happens anyway. BIG MISTAKE.
Keely is an absolute pathetic excuse of a woman and a total weak push over. If I had heard a man talk about me to someone else the way he did on the phone I would never let them touch me again. I can't believe how she gives into him so easily. Are you kidding me? I would have been screaming for him to get his disgusting hands off of me the moment he showed up at my door. His excuse was fucking pathetic and so was she for allowing a man with so little respect for her to put his hands on her so easily. Disgusting.
I love a good dirty talker but not like this. I need to know there is mutual respect and there is none in this book. She doesn't even know the guy and from the very first moment they meet each other all he is doing is talking about all the filthy things he is going to do to her. I'd have been all for the dirty talk and submission if he had at least treated her with some respect.
THERE IS NOTHING I HATE MORE THAN A WEAK HEROINE
I hate reading books about weak heroines that turn into a blubbery mess the moment the hero so much as breathes too close to them. Yuck. Grow a backbone and have some self respect. I would have been able to keep going with the series if she had made him work for him and grovel a bit.

Oh Vaughn, you have my brains scrambled all over the place and I don't know where to begin. Book 1 in The Seduction serial was fantastic and left me aching for the next installment. But book 2? It blew me and book 1 away. Vaughn and his dirty mouth are back in full force and even filthier than before. I know, I know....how is it even possible for him to get any dirtier? Trust me. He can and he did and it was beautiful. Vaughn doesn't hold anything back and he will leave you panting and writhing for more.
Keely seems to have gotten a little bit stronger in this book and I liked that a lot. She is still reeling from the news that Mr. Ashcroft left her is fortune and dealing with all the crap that has come along with it. But she has given up on fighting Vaughn off and is embracing her naughty side. We also learn a bit about Vaughn's connection with Ashcroft and it is a bit unsettling.
Just when you think you've got a good grasp on what's going on, a huge revelation changes everything. Keely hopes maybe now she can make some peace with Ashcroft's enraged children while Vaughn plans his next move. This changes the game for him and it just got even more dangerous. And quite honestly, I'm skeered. I am downright terrified of what will happen next.
This book was just plain awesome and I loved, loved, LOVED it! I devoured it in no time at all and now I'm hungry for book 3. If you enjoyed book 1, and I know you did, I promise you will love this even more!

I just received this book as an ARC for an honest review and all I can say OMG! I can not tell you how HOT this book is! Roxy Sloan can write erotica like no other! Dirty talk, spanking, public fingerbanging, it's got it all!! Keely finds out she is the heir from Ashcroft's will. But there is a morality clause and she can be disinherited for low morals. The story's okay.. it's quite exciting and I kind of like Vaugn's POVs way better than the heroine's.

So, again hot luvin but Vaughn still comes across as a jackhole. Take revenge on the heroine because suddenly she's the daughter of your worst enemy.
However, I am continuing on hoping I will get a bit of romance instead of just douchebaggery and dirty talk. Some groveling is going to be needed.
