Xander Barns #3

Calling Forever

Rate this book
***Warning, this book contains crude humour, bad language, sexual scenes, and includes scenes that may be offending. Recommended for ages 18+***

If someone were to have told me right after waking up and finding Xander’s surprise last Saturday, that at the end of this crazy weekend I’d be accepting a position as his Personal Assistant, I’d have laughed and told them they were crazy.

It did happen.

Who’s crazy now?

ME!

Marisa Gellys should have erased Xander Barns from her memory as soon as she stepped foot on her train back home. She did no such thing, in fact after being offered a job that included amazing pay and out of this world perks, she was now the king of trouble’s A.K.A Xander Barns’ Personal Assistant. Now all she’s got to do to get paid is to keep that menace out of trouble, which shouldn’t be too difficult, that is until Xander’s equally gorgeous normal fraternal twin brother shows up.

Liam Barns does not like his brother. Wanting nothing more than to get attention seeking Xander kicked out of their family’s boutique hotel business, he sets his sights on Marisa, planning to use her knowledge of Xander’s after dark lifestyle to finally show their father who really belongs in the company and who doesn’t. However, actually falling for Marisa, that was a surprise he didn’t have a plan for.

This is not a stand-alone novel. Book 3 in the Xander Barns Series.

This series started out with such promise in the first two books and then this book happened.

And I was like, Demetria really is insane and this author has really nailed down a bunch of funny but insane characters....but I am not sure where this plot is going. I mean this book was all over the place.

And then I was like, how much more Demetria do we have to read about?

And then I was like, what? All of the characters are insane, just some more than others.

And then I was like, am I insane for reading this book? Aside from the typos and grammar issues -- of which there are PLENTY, which is such laziness on the part of the author -- Was everything a dream like Bobby's death on Dallas? What really happened and what didn't?

And then I was like, I can't believe we have to read about her time in a Canadian women's prison and that the next book in the series is about yet another mentally ill character who wasn't all that interesting the first time?

And then I was like, thank God this was only 99 cents on Amazon, otherwise I'd be pissed.

Ahhh I love this book series totally and hopelessly in love with it, it has everything I love in a book it Wired, crazy, funny and dam right Sexy ( in a sick perverted way) But by gosh do I love it mmmmmmm. This book series always has me smiling before and after reading it.
Marisa this girl is bad ass to the bone, I love her personality I love how she is with Xander the two of them together is just genius.
Like the dream sequences in this series quite funny (the medallion hahahha) Epic. Another scene I loved was the club fight hahha she took down 3 people.
Ahh Xander Barnes you crazy sick psychotic perverted son of a gun how I adore you and your twisted mind grrrrrrrrrrrr.( I want this guy)
I have mention this sooo many times in my other reviews but I’ll say it again I LOVE XANDER BARNES this guy is MY IDEAL MAN ( yep you heard me people I love his FREAKINESS) .
I really hope we find out more about the two brothers and their love hate relationship, and what is it about Marissa that has them warning her about one another.
I cannot wait for book 3.5 Calling Ms. Kensington the character Marisol sound very Intresting.
And book 4 eeeeeeekkkk people

Gah! It seems like I've been waiting far too long (rather impatiently, I might add) for this book to come out. Seriously am so in love with these series and Marisa reminds me of myself because we're both kick ass and sometimes rather awkward!(;

After reading wanted always i was eager for this book to come out! And it lived up to my expectations lol but I actually really did enjoy did book, read it so fast I just needed to get through it. Some parts of it though, like the dreams were a small bit irritating because you would read through the whole chapter and then it was like you read it for nothing if that makes sense. The three books are the most random books ive ever read and will ever read... But thats one of the things i love about them because youll never get that craziness in any other book!! Overall loved the book.

The fun escalates in this instalment. Xander is still a thoroughly amusing character, finding out what trouble he's got himself into is always a joy. Marisa has changed so much since the start of the series, the way she deals with problems has had me crying with laughter.

I can't wait to read the next one!

Do not buy!

Have been waiting for the last book in the series for over a year or so. I do not think the author is going to finish writing the next book. This sucks as I have bought & read books and now I will not have an ending.
