Book two in the Fetwrk series is just as good as book one! We get Calliope’s story, who was teased in Power Exchange. After just giving a warning to a fellow actress, sex tapes are released and widely publicized. Of course the jerk would make sure her face is seen and not his! Now Calli is blacklisted in Hollywood, she’s lost her agent, lost her prospects, lost everything. Good thing she still has her friendship and pretend relationship with Eli, and her account on Fetwrk.

Eli is trying to do all he can to help Calli through this ordeal, but as friends. He wouldn’t mind more with her, but his tastes in kink are pretty specific. Good thing there’s an app for that!

When Calli and Eli match on the app, all bets are off. He takes control and gives them both what they need. However, Eli wants to take care of Calli, and she is not interested in that. Can they find their way back to their perfect match?

Sadie Haller is an excellent author who carries you along on the journey. She doesn’t need to resort to “shock and awe”, doesn’t force a plot down the reader’s throat, and always manages to give the characters depth and humanity. You can really relate to how Calli and Eli are feeling throughout the story, and are rooting for them all the way.

MMC and FMC are fake dating bc they are in a movie together. She gets retaliation blacklisted by a big producer. They have a public fight. Later that night, they anonymously match on a DL app for A listers wanting kinky hookups. After a few meetings, she gets angry, safe words, and leaves. He then "breaks up" with her via public statement.

Months later, she tries the app again and is almost abducted in a parking lot. She fights back. Then is arrested for assault. He helps her out of jail.

Their "fixer" friend finds security footage of him assaulting her before she fought him off. She goes public. They are back together. She's back on the A list.

Somehow this book got downloaded to my phone so with a lack of internet I decided to give it a read. Callie is being blacklisted because of a jerk of a man and her fake boyfriend is trying to hell her along till it’s just much. Paired by a kinky app they end up diving into a dom/sub relationship. The book has good flow and while they don’t physically discuss the limits they are located on the profiles and be us very adamant to use her safe word so I feel like that didn’t get into the grey for me. I enjoyed the read. I really enjoyed Auntie. Every body needs a family member like that!

Had potential, but it all felt too superficial

Okay, so disclaimer: I got this free and haven't read the first in the series. I think reading in order would have helped with some of the context. That said, I got the main plot. It all just felt rather superficial and had very little depth of any character, which was disappointing because the characters both had potentially interesting backgrounds. Even the scenes felt rushed and repetitive.

Dry series of events. Would have liked more....everything. Felt like we were rushing through at breakneck speed, pausing to look at this scene on a slightly slower fast-forward, rushing through to the next. Also, not an ounce of negotiation. Best part was when he made his grand gesture and she immediately exited the scene, that was correct of her to do, and felt like the most realistic and human moment in the book.

Such amazing book with wonderful characters.
This has to be my favourite book.
I love how brave and how Calli is determined to keep going no matter what she challenges in this book and how Eli is there to support her.
Love the steamy moments in this book and the bdsm. I love some bdsm myself so I will admit it definitely gets you hot and bothered.
I cant wait to read more of your books.

This story had a lot of excitement & drama, but I would have liked to hear more about what happened to after Calli decided to fight back.

I love this author and the book was just okay. Feel that the relationship between the two jumped from dom and sub to lovers without addressing some issues. I like things tied up and didn’t feel they were. Loved the auntie and her take no prisoners approach. Disappointed in this book but won’t stop me reading future books from this author.

This book is well written and moves right along with the story line. What happens when you get blacklisted when your an actor. Also how directors get you to do things and then to better themselves turn it against you when it suits them. Its a vicious world out there, also very camera and video happy. Take care watch your back.

It's an average read.

The storyline was good and had the potential to be great if it was developed properly. Things were rushed in this book and mere skimmed the surfaces of what was happening . It ended odd as we're not sure how the relationship between the Mc worked out.
All in all it could've been a great book.
