International bestselling author Stephanie Brother writes high heat love stories with a hint of the forbidden. Since 2015, she’s been bringing to life handsome, flawed heroes who know how to treat their women. If you enjoy stories involving multiple lovers, including twins, triplets, stepbrothers, and their friends, you’re in the right place. When it comes to books and men, Stephanie truly believes it’s the more, the merrier.
She spends most of her day typing, drinking coffee, and interacting with readers.
Her books have been translated into German, French, and Spanish, and she has hit the Amazon bestseller list in seven countries.
The first book in a new series can be challenging to write. You're starting with a new location and set of characters and planning out an idea that can cross multiple books. Well, the Beyond Huge series is a little different. It's a spin-off from my bestselling Huge Series, so many of the familiar places and some of the characters will reappear.
Huge Dare features Ellie, a girl who can never resist a dare. At a frat party, her best friend dares her to play Seven minutes in heaven and she finds herself in the closet with not one, not two, but three men. They achieve something she thought was impossible...the big O. It's only when she's staggering from the closet that she realizes who they are...her stepbrothers.
The book has the following:
* One sassy heroine who doesn't believe she's brave without dares * Three sexy stepbrothers who want to show her she's fierce and strong and perfect for them. * A college setting with plenty of forced proximity fun - don't you just love it when they have to sneak around for sexy times! * Dares that push the heroine's boundaries * An accidental pregnancy * And a happy-ever-after ending to warm the coldest of winter nights.
I hope you'll love Elle, Colby, Sebastian, and Micky. They were so much fun to write.
These books are always a hit or miss for me, and this was one a miss because of Ellie.
I couldn’t stand her. She was so quick to think badly of the guys, even though she didn’t know jack shit about them because she never made the effort to get to know who they were as they grew up! She was perfectly fine with using them, knowing it wasn’t just sex for the guys.
She had a strained relationship with her mom and nothing was ever said about it to said mom. She kept blaming her dad for leaving yet said he was the reason she need a dare to do anything adventurous?
She’s suppose to be college age yet had high school behavior written all over her. 🙄 instead of acting like an adult and talking to the guys, she kept shrugging at their words and distracting them.
The reason im mostly giving this book 3.5 stars is because I started to really dislike the fmc she was pretty selfish and mean about things in the relationship and was hurting the guys feelings pretty badly for most of the book. Thats why I took a star and a half off. The other half star I took off is because they're are some editing that needs to be done to make the writing better. All in all it was a good book and story line.
I do like the chemistry with the 4 of them. Ellie leaves a strange feeling. It really seems that Ellie has ALOT of growing up to do on her own, it seems like she missed quite a lot growing up especially in Sex Ed. The way that Lara takes to the whole things awesome. I do wonder what degree they were going for and what it was going to be in. Did dad end up getting rid of who was blackmailing him with the affair?
I generally don’t get into step-brother books, because they all seem to be written the same way, but this one felt different from the beginning. Ellie has always crushed on her siblings, but assumed they were jerks, never giving them a real chance. Colby, Micky and Sebastian have always looked at Ellie as off-limits and kept their distance. Colby is the very alpha, dominant, serious one. Micky is the emotional one. And Sebastian is the jokester. Their characters were written to compliment each other really well. One dare leads to another, then another and before they know it, they no longer care that they should stay away from one another. Ellie begins to see the guys differently, and the guys decide she’s worth crossing the line. The sexy times were well written and very spicy. I loved the way the story progressed as to how they got together. One at a time, so it wasn’t overwhelming readers with too much all at once.
Colby, Sebastian, and Micky are triplets who are all very different. Ellie is their step sister who struggles with stepping out her comfort zone so dares from others help her live a little. The guys all hold a secret from the outside world they all secretly crushing on ellie and she on them but struggles with it. But what will happen when they unknowingly cross the line? Can they go back to how it was before? What will happen when the truth comes out? Will there be a HEA?
Whenever I can't find something to read I always fall back on Stephanie Brother. It's kinda like drinking a Coors Lite. It's mild and goes down easy. This book in particular was sweet and easily predictable, but I love that there's little to no angst and the dudes are all cinnamon roll-y. A nice palate cleanser. ❤
I love this author, all of her books that I have read have all the feels in them. Like your the one going through everything on the pages. Can not wait to see what is next.
Huge Dare kicks off the new series. When Ellie plays a game of 7 minutes in heaven, she wasn’t expecting the three guys in there with her. Her stepbrothers Colby, Micky, and Sebastian are triplets who never expected their stepsister to step in the closet with them that night. But all of them knew their relationship will never be the same. Then Ellie takes another dare which will have all of them discover secrets and revealing their feelings for each other. But their journey will definitely carry you on emotional rollercoaster as they find their happiness in the end.
Despite the cover, this story isn't just all spice, sex and low expectations and I think because it worked at providing more I found myself with higher expectations.
Ellie has a lot of parental issues and immaturity that I feel were never really dealt with. Like that her initial dislike of her stepbrother is partially because of mistreatment from her mother that just randomly goes away like it's all good. I'm mean she has these big emotional reactions to what she expects from her mom with no evidence of reason... She thinks she's a coward because of her father and every action is a weird childish dare, except he never appears. And she's supposed to have this growth about taking risks on her own but she never does. Every decision she makes is at the coercion of another character. At one point she's says something about what does she know about being a mother when she's an overgrown child herself and I know Brother wants the reader to sympathize and disagree but it's absolutely true.
Additionally there were parts of this that were too controlling like that entire epilogue scene really rubbed me the wrong way. Let's intentionally push her anxiety for our personal amusement and make life changing decisions without her input, how romantic.... maybe in the 1950s or a century prior.
The lazze Faire attitude toward cheating in another relationship also really bothered me. I don't believe in forgiving cheaters. Maybe to the point that you might be friends someday but once a man invites someone else into his bad he should no longer be welcome in yours. Violating marriage vows isn't the same as sleeping around when you're single.
The stepbrother aspect also, still a little taboo for me which admittedly I knew about going in but the dare concept was interesting until it was taken too far.
It wasn't a bad title, in fact the story has a lot of potential and I think a lot of readers will find it surprisingly enjoyable with the way it works so hard to offer more than spicy sex scenes. But in setting up conflict in stories like that more needs to be offered in terms of resolution and character growth. Those big uncomfortable moments with the back story characters that forged the main characters flaws, need to happen in order to facilitate true character growth and while the conflicts are being set up here those moments don't happen.
YASSS! First we all need some BFFS who know us well enough when to push! I loved the premises of this book with the basic of all challenges, a dare. I found Ellie relatable in her insecurities and how she handles certain situations. It takes a lot for her to step outside of her comfort zone and I can relate to and understand those feelings. I loved the chemistry between Ellie and her best friend, how he looked out for her best interests. I loved the dynamic between Ellie and Colby, I love how sensitive Micky is, and how Seb can read a room and play it like an exquisite violin. This was a very well written story that had me anticipating and excited for what happens next. I can't wait for the next book in this series. Stephanie never disappoints!
I loved reading Huge Dare(Beyond Huge Series Book1)!!! All about Ellie a college girl who’s a junior & her three stepbrothers Colby, Sebastian and Micky who are also college juniors. Her mom married their dad when she was eleven, she does not like them very much. Her mom is constantly saying I wish you were more like your stepbrother’s. They play football and do community give-backs teaching elementary age boys how to play football in the rough neighborhoods. Read about Ellie & her stepbrother’s and how the future might shape up!! Lots of emotion and plenty of toe curling incidents throughout the book!! I loved the different personalities and how they clashed!!! Can’t wait to read book two!!!
I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster I’d find myself on once I started reading Huge Dare by Stephanie Brother.
Ellie is a beautiful young woman who tends to live her life cautiously but once she is dared to do something she throws caution to the wind and does it. The dare becomes her reason to be reckless and free. One dare after another leads to her participating in a childish game of 7 minutes in heaven at her best friend’s birthday party. She is guided into the closet blindfolded expecting to ward off one man, only to discover that she was locked in there with three!
Things take a surprising turn when instead of being scared, Ellie finds herself excited as one man holds her from behind and kisses her neck, another worships her breasts, and another has his face buried between her thighs.
7 minutes of heaven indeed! As time runs out her best friend calls out her name and reality seeps in and she later discovers that she did the unthinkable … she just made out with her stepbrothers!
Colby, Seb, and Micky are identical triplets. Their dad married Ellie’s mom 7 years ago and from the moment they saw Ellie, they fell for her, hard. Each triplet handled their attraction to Ellie differently based on their personalities. Micky is playful and friendly, Seb likes to joke around, and Colby is broody and snarky. Ellie, on the other hand, always seemed to treat them with disdain, mostly because she was quietly jealous of how much her mom seemed to love them more than her.
But the dare that led her into the closet proved to be the catalyst for her recognizing her attraction to them. A dare from another friend leads her to seek the bed of one brother, which led to another and another.
Huge Dare by Stephanie Brother ends with HEA. Reading from the perspective of each of them brought me to such emotional highs and lows that I just couldn’t stop reading! I needed to finish this book before I could sleep! In the end, the only thing I feel is good.
A dare got her into the relationship of all their dreams.
I must admit that I love this taboo genre of falling for your stepbrothers. And Stephanie Brother does an amazing job yet again of weaving a tale that draws you in from the very first page and doesn’t let you go until the very end.
Was a roller coaster of emotions. Ellie dealing with the trauma of an unloving and mean father who walks out one day and never comes back and even now many years later still hasn’t truly healed from the hurt. It is something she carries around like a shield but in the process she stops herself from connecting with those who love her.
Sebastian, Micky and Colby are each adorable but different in their own ways, one is the caring softy, one is a control freak and the other a bit of a jokester but when they all come together for a common goal….Ellie, than they are what she needs them to be…hers.
I loved this book, even with its ups and downs and a best friend who doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. It was perfect
I usually don't read reverse harem but I decided to give it a chance with this book. It was a good read and very entertaining. And OMG the sexy scenes were HOT AS FUCK 🔥🔥🥵🥵. I think I would've blacked out from the amount of pleasure they were giving her if I was in her situation😂 and the simple fact that the heroes were TRIPLETS!! Yea that made it even better😁😂 the storyline was okay. I did find myself skimming sometimes though. The heroine was uptight a little but that went out the window once she was in bed with the guys. I think what worked for me is that the guys loved her from since they were young and didn't see her as a stepsister. I liked this book so I recommend it. Now I'm interested in reading Gabriella's book. May 2023 is far though 😞
This story follows Ellie, who doesn't take chances unless she is dared to do so. During a party, Ellie is dared to play the game seven minutes in heaven. During her turn she finds herself in a closet with not one but three guys and finding it to be a very hot experience. When the time is up, she finds out that it was her three step-brothers, who she always felt her mother loved more than her. Knowing that Ellie would never do anything about her crush on her step-brothers, her friends dare her to sleep with one of them. Well, one dare leads to another, and then another creating a journey that left me unable to put this down until I was done!
I really liked this book and I absolutely love Stephanie Brother as an author! I did take away 1 star because this one is a little different from the rest of her stories! This one has cheating in the parent’s relationship, an accidental pregnancy before the relationship is even established, the main female character has emotional issues that she needs dares to open up because of mental trauma from her biological father. I usually like the main female character more than the guys but in this one I actually liked the main three guy characters better! They seem to have their heads on better than Ellie!

Stepbrother/sister college romance. Steamy, emotional and entertaining storyline that’s full of action and fun.
I Very much enjoyed reading this story, it’s got all your looking for in a college, taboo romance. The four young adult have so many feelings that are reciprocated but so hard to explain to each other. Once they start however the emotions grow, so do the problems. Excellent writing from Stephanie and great characters and chemistry.
I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review
Stephanie Brother knows how to write a sexy hot yet sweet love story that involves one lucky lucky female and multiple hot attentive males. Her male characters always have a wonderful mixture of personality types and sexual prowess that would make any girl happy happy!! Told in all 4 lead characters' pov. HEA. Present tense. A few typos that do not impede with the reading flow.
They were all content, so resolved to ignore how they felt behind snark for the sake of "family". Until one dare exposes all the what ifs and the craving for more. But are they ready to have to hide how they feel in order to keep peace..or will they be forced to admit all the feelings and consequences be damned. Loved this story and how each of them were more than what the other perceived.
Wow, what a fantastic book from start to finish, I absolutely loved the relationship dynamic between Ellie and her best friend, The triplets may be identical but they couldn't be any different, Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster from the start Another amazing book by Stephanie Brother Can't wait to see whats next

Another amazing reverse-harem book by Stephanie Brother. It all starts with Ellie playing seven minutes in Heaven at a frat party on a dare, only to find out she was in the closet with her three gorgeous step-brothers. What started as an awkward turn of events soon becomes a sordid secret. The temperature is hot and this book will have you panting.
This was a great read, I really enjoyed it. I felt like it had a bit of a different vibe from some of the other Stephanie Brother books I’ve read. Ellie, Colby, Seb and Micky are great and you could tell the boys really cared for her. I also love a dual POV book.
I know I can read this author's books and there is no MM in them. If I want reverse harem books I get hers first. This one is amazing. A college girl takes a dare and ends up in a closet with 3 hot stepbrothers. And has an amazing and steamy time. What a way to have fun. Love this and highly recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
This book felt more like the OG Stephanie Brother books I’ve come to love for a good old fashioned sm*t escape.
I loved the guys and how Brother makes each triplet be a missing piece of the puzzle but the heroine I found extremely annoying at times and found it hard to like her.
A fantastic start to a new series! Another winner by this author! As always I just got sucked into this story and couldn’t put it down! So very entertaining with awesome characters and a great storyline! A taboo and very steamy story that is just so enjoyable! Very highly recommend! I am voluntarily leaving an honest review for this complimentary copy of this book
This was a cute stepbrother reverse harem that all started with a blind seven minutes of heaven. I really loved Seb, Micky and Colby. They made me fall in love them with their love for Ellie and how they would do anything to be with her but Ellie’s timidness to feel anything real was off putting at times. But the chemistry between all of them was fire.
Ellie has built a wall around her heart to keep her stepbrothers from breaking it if they knew how she felt about them. She doesn’t have much trust in men since her dad took off. He would make her feel like she was a coward or a chicken for not wanting to try new things. He would dare her into setting her anxiety to the side and to do different things that she normally wouldn’t be comfortable in trying. It was used against her in many ways but once he left she took back the power and made it to where she couldn’t ever deny a dare. It was a big FU to him in her mind. When her friends dare her to go to a college party and to play a game she couldn’t say no. So blindfolded and shoved into a closet for a game of seven minutes in heaven, she’s blissed out by the orgasm the three men in the dark gave her. As she was leaving the dark closet she recognizes a tattoo on one of the men before the door closes. Yep, she just spent 7 minutes in a closet with her triplet stepbrothers getting touched, kissed and licked to the first orgasm of her life. It gets juicy after that point and the dares begin but will her heart be able to keep the wall up around it or will Colby, Micky and Sebastian be able to break it down and give her the love she needs. This did have a different feel to it. It dealt with real life situations and the aftermaths that happen everyday.
Three times really is the charm! About this 4 some, what's not to love? Ellie is kindhearted, but has deep rooted insecurities. Bad parenting will do that to you...Enter her triplet gorgeous stepbrothers, Colby, Micky and Sebastian who see her for her good heart and love her unconditionally. Ellie's character really resonated with me because I'm super indecisive, but my friends know that I never turn down a dare 😅 It definitely frees you to do things that you may not normally do. In Ellie's case, the dares changed her life in complex but fulfilling ways! It wasn't all about them saving her though. Ellie sees straight to the heart of them like no one else is able to. As always with a Stephanie book, this book was SCORCHING! 🔥 With so much HOTNESS 🥵 Especially when Ellie made her "rounds" And the "Quadruple-triple dog dare" at Molly's! See what I did there? 😂 This book was about unconditional love, passion and the courage to live, love and stand in your truth...Sometimes love finds us in unexpected ways and we just have to be brave enough to fight for it and I'm happy that these four did! I LOVED this one. It's become one of my favorites of Stephanie's! It was such a fun read and listen. I highly recommend it; you won't want to put it down 🙌🏽💜
I enjoyed this romance story with all of the characters. The main characters were Ellie, Colby, Micky and Sebastian.
Ellie lives with her mother and stepfather. Her stepfather had three sons that are now living with them. There name are Colby, Micky and Sebastian. While growing up with them she has got closer to them. Now they are in college together. While at a party she is put into a closet on a dare game that a group of people are playing. The closest is dark in side but there are three other people in side with her. She is surprised by what the dare is. She later find out that it was her stepbrother in side the closest. The things that happened in the closet surprised her and now she doesn't know how to handle it.
This was fun to read. It had action, drama and surprises throughout. It had a few giggles within. It does have a bit of steamy parts within.
I saw this an decided to try it from the Kindle Unlimited. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
