Stevie is a ten-year-old girl whose life is about to change drastically. She has lived with her father for the last nine years, since her mother abandoned them. Her father, a prominent judge, informed her that he was bringing home a new wife and her son.The two children grow up together but never seem to regard each other as brother and sister.As they reach maturity, they both discover that they are in love with each other. It is a forbidden love, since everyone thinks of them as siblings.Each year brings them closer to the unavoidable truth and the decision they must make to bring them happiness or despair.

Forbidden had all the makings for a great YA novella but it fell short on a few things. One being that the story was to big to fit in to 41 pages. second being the book really needed editing and third the ending felt to rushed. All that being said the book and author show great protential to be amazing.

Great love story, especially for teens. No cursing or sex, and very little violence. Still a great read.

Good book, especially for teen girls, although it is geared for adults also. Great unusual love story.
