Mmmm, I VERY much loved this first in a two book duet by Ms. Brandon.
Four tourists seeking a fun, relaxing day among nature's beauty while being led by a enigmatic dead serious guide. But the tourists are more concerned with baiting and insulting each other than minding their terse intense guide Eli, who unknown to them, has a dark and brutal past. And while Erin does listen to his warnings and directions she internally bristles periodically at his alpha delivery and attitude.
But the day hiking tour rapidly descends into a hellish nightmare for the arrogant hikers. Various dire impacts eventually cause Erin and Eli to be separated from the others, requiring their desperate flight to a ranger's cabin for shelter from the increasingly life threatening weather.
But as Eli and Erin come to realize, as their situation changes, so too do they . . . .

This one is a superbly smooth and enthralling mix of steaming sizzle, morphing personalities, sinister eidolons, fascinating characters and a plot that increases the sexual tension between Eli and Erin until it explodes into something scorching as well as in a manner neither of them expected.

Ms. Brandon's writing kept me completely invested and enthralled in this one, so much so I read it in one straight sitting. Teasing peeks into Eli's dark history subtly hints at just how little we know of him and just what someone like him is capable of doing. Along with these dark teasers, there are also brief but intense and sinister specters from his past that may or may not be real.
And while the sizzle and scorch between Eli and Erin rapidly ignites once they're in their shelter, the fleshing out of and detailing of the characters, especially Eli, is beautifully done with a building intensity that kept me on inescapable tenterhooks from beginning to end.

Fascinating, beautifully done, superbly written, dark as well as chilling at times. I loved it and cannot wait for the conclusion!

Two friends and two acquaintances decide to tackle the wilderness. Eli will be their guide. The two men refuse to follow directions and fall over the side of a deep ravine. Chelle insists on searching for her lover and neither Eli nor Erin were able to stop her.

Unfortunately, the weather is changing with the threat of snow in the air. Eli takes Erin to a cabin for shelter. It is an old Ranger’s cabin containing one table, one chair, one nightstand, and one bed. Because of the cold, both Erin and Eli decide to share body heat in order to remain warmer. Perhaps it might not have been the best idea. The next morning Erin decides to leave despite the cold and the snow. Erin’s frosty attitude easily allows Eli to slip into his domineering persona. Erin feels overwhelmed by his alpha personality, but allows herself to follow his orders. Watching each of their personalities morph and adjust to this unique situation is enough to keep me reading forever.

This is number one of a three book series, and I cannot wait for more. As is usual for Felicity Brandon, this is a steamy, sizzling, captivating and enthralling dark romance that I highly recommend.

This is a captivating read, great characters and a scenario that held my attention from start to finish
This is a fairly short read and is ideal for those times when you do not have a great deal of reading time and even though it ends with a cliffhanger, I know that you will find this to be a sexy and scintillating read.
I was enthralled by this wonderful story and I thought that the characters Eli and Erin are both on a wilderness adventure that take a total unexpected turn of events that are not for the best and when things seem to have gone totally awry Eli is the guide that helps her get to safety.
Then there is the compelling twist that has you on the edge of your seat and the cliffhanger it ends with has you waiting for the next book.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Wow this was intense expesially at the first I wasn't expecting that. I couldn't put it down Eli kept me on my toes he has such a dark cloud hanging over him that I needed to know about as he guides these 4 threw the park woods that's kind of spooky.

Erin is very fiesty and really doesn't realize the situation she has gotten herself in but is about to learn her place with Eli who does not hold back and is determined to own her in this little cabin that has nothing but a bed and fireplace and Ice.

I am very curious if she will continue to fight at no choice or give in to her new master that she knows nothing about. The writing keeps you on your toes and it's fast paced. I really enjoyed this one.

Sooo I thought this was a thriller, but it ended up being a dom/sub non-con erotic romance. Safe to say, that was a surprise. For dark romance, this book was alright. The writing was kinda weird because it was obviously shooting for steamy/sexy, but then would use words like “sublime” when describing sex scenes. I felt like the author wrote the book and then went over every chapter with a thesaurus because the language was out of place. I also didn’t really feel like this was a complete story. There was no conflict/climax/resolution. Honestly, this should be rated lower, but I didn’t hate it enough to give it 2 stars.

I loved the slow build in "Saved!"

I enjoyed the character builds of not only the main characters, but the supporting characters as well.

Something nefarious seems to be dwelling in the woods Erin and her friends are hiking in.
Eli, their guide, was doing his best to keep them safe.
Could external forces be causing what is happening?

Ms. Brandon has left us on quite a cliff. Thank goodness what happened to Miles and James isn't our situation, or is it?

Intense, emotional, steamy!

So good! I loved it!

This is a quick read, and part one of a duet so it ends on a cliffhanger. It's also intense, sexy, and a one sitting read. Ms. Brandon's writing sucked me in, as always, and took my breath away. There are so many things I want to say, but part of the charm is the impact I got from going in mostly blind. Ms. Brandon is one of those authors I will read without looking at the blurb because her writing is perfection. I don't ever go into one of her stories liking her MC, but somehow they always win me over in the end. I'm anxious to see if that will be the case with Eli.

What could go wrong on a peaceful nature hike through the wilderness? Especially when you have hired a knowledgeable guide? It seems quite a lot but you will have to read Saved to find out. This has more heat than plot so please heed the trigger warnings. That said, enjoy this steamy romp, but be ready for a cliffhanger.

I think James and Miles got what was coming to them. Selfish, pretentious, overinflated, egotistical men. Erin was way over her head and not prepared for her wilderness hike that somehow turned into a nightmare of adventure. I cannot say that I am eager to go for a hike anytime soon!

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.

Saved by Felicity Brandon is the story of Eli and Erin. She and some friends are on a wilderness adventure. But, when things take a turn for the worse, the tour guide, Eli…saves her from a horrible fate. But, did she just trade one horrible fate for another???

Good story!! Lots of possessiveness and domination… in a forced proximity situation. Ends with a cliffhanger!

I found this to be an enthralling story of Eli and Erin's relationship changes. There is lots of hot dark chemistry and plenty of twists and turns in this very well written sizzling tale. It does end on a cliffhanger so I can't wait to read the next installment of this scorching tale. This is my honest opinion.

I finished this book in one go which is why I gave it four stars. The storyline kept me interested and the pace moved fast. I know this was written as a dark thriller but I found it more as a dark comedy. Brandon's writing reminds me of the movie, Very Bad Things. The characters are in their forties but their stupidity creates their destruction. And I loathe Eli. I haven't felt that intense about a character since the Twisted Sisters created Lionel Acrux. I hope Erin pulls out an Uma Thurman roll on his arse (The Bride). This does leave you on a cliffhanger and I look forward to seeing how this twisted tale unfolds.

I loved the dark aspects but the story writing that we usually get from Felicity seems scattered here.
Maybe because it's a short read that everything happens all at once and seems cluttered.
Despite it all, I can't wait for the next one to get all the answers and closure.

Damn this was good. Not a daddy book but definitely had Dark Daddy Vibes. Eli reminded me a lot of Jared. I am lowkey hoping they are interconnected and Eli and Jared are friends 🥲😂
