Rate this book
A royal engagement in the seaside kingdom of Alameda has the makings of a fairy tale. And for Princess Annabelle of Sereno, her life-long friend Princess Tayla’s happy news is the perfect excuse for a visit. Annabelle arrives in full wedding-planning mode, but her enthusiasm is cut short the moment she steps off her yacht and spots a less-than-friendly face. Of all the people who could have jumped in to escort Annabelle to the castle, why did it have to be him?

Retrieving his sister’s annoying childhood friend is the last way Prince Leo would choose to spend his time, a sentiment that Annabelle clearly shares. But there’s no time to dwell on their mutual dislike. Moments after her arrival in Alameda, Annabelle’s luggage detonates, and the two royals barely make it out alive. Despite their long-standing animosity, Leo and Annabelle have no choice but to work together to discover the culprit and prevent another attack. As danger presses in on every side, the former foes soon discover that they may have been mistaken in their opinions of each other. But there are more pressing concerns than their shifting feelings because one thing is someone is trying to kill the Alamedian royalty, and until they can uncover who it is, no one is safe.

The Brief: Princess Annabelle heads to help her friend plan her wedding. When a bomb greets her arrival, she works with her bestie’s brother, Prince Leo, to find out why it happened.

The Debrief: Wowzers! This would make such a great movie. Their relationship from kind of enemies to friendship to more was totally believable and the suspense kept me immersed in a world of bad guys and royals. Loved it! Leo is so lovable and Annabelle fearless. I couldn’t get enough of all the banter and suspense.

The Rhyme: Annabelle finds Leo’s friendship a constant strength, but is not about to fall for his charm. When the danger starts to heat up will their relationship get a chance before they come to harm?

Highly recommend anything this author rights. Read them in order or out. Just read them. Complimentary copy. My thoughts. Kissing only.

This author is pretty transparent in her foreshadowing so you figure out the “bad guy” pretty quickly. There are a few red herrings that throw you off but not for long. I am okay with that as I am always intrigued to see now things will resolve and enjoyed the read. I was driving while listening to this on audio and had no trouble staying awake as I was captivated. Leo’s character was a little weak but this was still a very good read.

Every new book in The Royals series becomes my favorite!! It's got royals, a lot of great banter, it's enemies/frenemies-to-love, which is one of my favorite tropes, and written by one of my favorite authors—what's not to love?

Princess Annabelle is on her way to Alameda to help her best friend, Princess Tayla, plan a royal wedding—something she’s really excited about. But her plans get a serious shake-up the moment she steps off her yacht and is greeted by none other than Prince Leo, her best friend’s brother and childhood nemesis. Neither of them is thrilled to see the other, and their mutual dislike is pretty obvious. Suddenly, things take a dramatic turn when Annabelle’s luggage explodes shortly after her arrival, and wedding planning takes a backseat as she and Leo are thrown into a dangerous mystery.

Forced to work together to figure out who’s behind the attack, Annabelle and Leo find themselves caught in a web of royal intrigue (see what I did). As they try to figure out who’s behind the attack and why someone is targeting the royal family, they start to see each other in a new light.

I loved watching Annabelle and Leo's relationship transform. Their banter felt natural and often made me smile, and their chemistry built up at just the right pace. The author is great at balancing the romance and mystery, adding just the right amount of humor. The threat to the royal family felt real and kept the tension high, but it never overshadowed the growing relationship between the main characters. There were enough twists and turns to keep me guessing, and I didn't figure it out until the characters in the book did.

This is a clean, romantic adventure with just the right amount of danger, humor, and heart. Add this to your TBR if you enjoy royal settings, reluctant partnerships that turn into something more, and a bit of a who-done-it woven into your romance. Although part of a series, each can be read as a standalone.

I received a copy from the publisher but also bought an ebook for my digital library. All opinions in this review are my own.

•I give 5 stars!•⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

~A royal engagement in the seaside kingdom of Alameda has the makings of a fairy tale. Yet danger presses in on every side…

“It’ll be okay. I won’t let anything happen to you.”

-ROYAL INTRIGUE, is a thrilling royal romantic suspense story. It is filled precisely and wonderfully with enemies to lovers vibes, a suspenseful plot, a dual point of view, great tension, royalty, and of course a happily there after! This story has the ability to not only keep you on the edge of your seat but also to kept your full attention with the twists and turns along this exciting adventure! I thoroughly enjoyed watching where characters feelings were in the beginning of the story, to watching them work together not only to save but, also to solve the great mystery of who exactly was trying to harm the royal family and reasons why. Even from the start, you could feel sparks of attraction, chemistry, and connection! I was rooting for them from start to finish! Seeing where this story went and ends had my heart sighing with great satisfaction! This is definitely another fantastic story from dear @traciabramson that is worth the awesome read!

No one does a romantic suspense better than Abramson and this Royals series is the best. Princess Annabelle arrives to help plan her best friend’s wedding and her luggage explodes. She and Tayla’s brother, Prince Leo, embark in a race against time to figure out who is behind the now multiple attacks.

Leo and Annabelle are such a great team. Having known one another since childhood, their interactions are full of banter and electrifying chemistry, although his “girlfriend” Chrishelle is also present. Their underlying tension gives off a frenemies vibe and it was so sweet and satisfying to watch the king subtly at work, pushing them together. Their relationship was delightful on all levels and I appreciated their individual personalities.

The mystery and suspense kept me guessing and I was constantly tweaking my opinions and accusations. It was also refreshing to have mental health represented here: Princess Tayla has anxiety and PTSD, and the way she deals with it (as well as those who love her) is gratifying. These struggles make her very easy to relate to.

The pacing is wonderful, the characters are likable, and the romance is explosive. This is a story that can stand alone and I highly recommend it.

Content: mild moments of peril/danger; mental health rep; mild romance

“We’re one step closer to finding the truth.” And she was trying to help.
Leo covered her hand with his. “Let’s hope it’s the last step we have to take.”

The suspense in Royal Intrigue had me hooked from page one—and the twists kept coming! I loved trying to piece everything together before the characters did, and the romance? Enemies-to-more meets best friend’s brother with a royal twist? Yes, please.

The pacing was perfect, the danger felt real, and the chemistry between Leo and Annabelle added the perfect romantic spark to all the tension. If you love stories with royalty, suspense, and just the right amount of swoon, Royal Intrigue should definitely be on your TBR.

Oh. My. Goodness. This was an absolutely amazing read! With a double-royals romance and plenty of heart-pounding suspense, this book delivered the swoon and action I was craving.

Princess Annabelle isn’t thrilled when she finds out her best friend’s older brother is going to be the one picking her up when she arrives. After all, he’s the same man that hid frogs in her bed and teased her whenever she and his sister would do hair and makeup. But when danger strikes nearly the same instant that they reunite, Princess Annabelle and Prince Leo are forced to work together to uncover the threat. With a royal wedding on the horizon, an overwhelming amount of suspects to comb through, and two royal families at stake, Annabelle and Leo have their work cut out for them. With so much forced proximity and so much shared history between them, will the building tension include the romantic kind? Or will they won’t have a chance to find out before it’s too late?

I really loved the suspense aspect of this book! I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say I was surprised by the ending and happy with how our royals-turned-spies were involved in the plot. It was fun to see cameos from previous royals books, but this can also be read as a stand alone if you’d like!

I adored the best friend’s brother trope in this book. Annabelle and Leo just knew each other so well, even if they weren’t aware of how their history was affecting them from the beginning. I loved the loyalty and dependability of Leo’s character and the go-getter beauty of Annabelle’s character. I also loved Tayla! It was nice to see some mental health/therapy rep, and her and Annabelle’s friendship was so fun. Annabelle’s new beauty company even had an important and fun role to play in story.

All the stars for this great book!

Royal Intrigue started off with a blast and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved every second I spent reading it! With multiple layers of suspense, a strong friendship, and two royals falling in love, it was fantastic!

The romance was clean, and the suspense was the type that made me nervous but didn’t cause me nightmares. I would give this to any teenager or older in my life. Thank you to the author and publisher for the advance copy of this book. A review was not required.

LOVED this book! My new favorite from Traci Hunter Abramson! Royal Intrigue starts off with a literal bang & doesn’t let go. Royals in danger, little sister’s best friend with a bit of an enemies to more forbidden romance, sizzling chemistry, & edge of your seat suspense kept me up way past bedtime reading!

When Princess Annabelle arrives on her yacht for her best friend’s engagement party, she finds her secret crush & sometime nemesis Prince Leo waiting to pick her up. But, before their banter even starts, they’re running for their lives when a bomb detonates in Annabelle’s luggage. Forced to work together to discover who’s behind not just one but several attempts on their lives, the chemistry between Annabelle & Leo can’t be denied & they find themselves falling in love. But can they figure out who’s targeting the royal families before it’s too late?

I absolutely adored Leo & Annabelle. The witty banter & sparks igniting between them kept me eagerly reading. They both know each other so well having spent their childhoods together so there’s a lovely progression from frenemies to more as they work together.

The mystery definitely kept me guessing. There’re several suspects & while I had my suspicions, it wasn’t until the end that all the clues came together. The action & suspense was off the charts & it was hard to predict when & how the next attempt would occur.

I also enjoyed all the side characters. Loved Annabelle’s & Princess Tayla’s friendship. Tayla suffers from anxiety & PTSD & I appreciated the struggles her family goes through not wanting to tell her what’s going on & ruin her engagement party. Tayla’s strength & resilience surprises them & I enjoyed seeing her take control of her life. I also loved Leo’s father, the King who’s a secret matchmaker helping Leo realize his true feelings.

Highest of recommendations! This is definitely one clean romantic suspense you’ll want to pick up & I can’t wait for the next one! Though part of the Royals series it’s easily read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous books to fully enjoy this one. I received an advanced copy from the author with no expectation of a positive review. All opinions are completely my own & provided voluntarily.

Very good addition to the romantic/suspense Royal series. Princess Annabelle of Sereno (a small Mediterranean country) arrives to help her long time best friend Princess Tayla begin making wedding plans. Annabelle’s two older sisters have their romances in Royal Heir (March 2020) and Royal Duty (Sept 2024) respectively. Tayla’s brother, Crown Prince Leonardo arrives at the dockyard to pick up Annabelle and the pair barely survive a bomb planted in her luggage. They are not sure who the intended target was, them or Tayla who should have been there instead of Leo. Security is tightened up and Annabelle and Leo spend a lot of time together trying to help identify potential threats to either of their two families.

My best friend's brother is a classic romance troupe and it works well here. As does the forced proximity of being stuck together on the palace grounds. I like that both MC’s understand the demands of being a working royal and the protocols and optics involved. There really isn’t a lot of getting to know you as they have known each other most of their lives. But they are still sweet as they assess their grown up feelings towards each other. There is more focus on the murder plot and who is behind it. I wasn’t surprised as there are not a lot of suspects but the story still gripped me as one danger ends and another begins.

This book can be read as a stand alone novel. But having read the other books in the series I was happy for the updates on Annabelle’s sisters lives. I know what I am getting with Abramson’s writing. Her stories are action packed and clean for language and intimacy. I am not sure if it is the timing of book releases or the author is writing more but this is the sixth new book I read from her in a calendar year. She does have multiple series ongoing. Thank you to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for the eARC and I am leaving an honest review.

Unputdownable!!!

Almost from the minute Princess Annabelle arrived in Alameda to help her best friend Tayla plan her wedding, her life is in danger. She and Prince Leo, Tayla's brother and crown prince, escape with their lives but are left with questions. Which of them was the target and why? As they try to unravel the mystery and catch a would-be killer, sparks of attraction light between them but before they can explore the possibility of a future together, first they have to catch an assassin.

What you'll love:
dual royal romance
best friend’s brother
dual pov
assassination attempts
forced proximity
childhood pranks
plot twists
suspenseful moments
sweet romance
happily ever after!

I think this may just be my new favorite book of the series! Besides keeping the story on a fast and bingeable pace, the mystery to solve pushed the characters together and the heart pounding suspense brought out their hidden feelings for each other. The tension and chemistry between Leo and Annabelle was so perfectly done!

I love suspense books that keep me guessing and I did not figure out the identity of the villain until right before the characters did - this author is soo good at planting red herrings and I fall for them every time! I loved the dynamic between Leo and Annabelle and that they were childhood frenemies (gotta love those pranks!). Best friend's brother is one of my favorite tropes for this very reason and I loved the slow burn and build of their feelings for each other. Gah, that first kiss!!!

This is the sixth book in the series but can easily be read and enjoyed as a standalone! If you like swoony royal romances mixed with adventure, mystery, and suspense, then this book belongs on your summer reading list! This one gets a very enthusiastic five stars from me!

I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.

✨Book Review✨

“The arrow whizzed through the air, hitting the outer ring. This wasn't his day. Then again, yesterday hadn't been stellar either.”

Royal Intrigue by Traci Hunter Abramson is a must read! This is the 6th book in the series and we finally get to find out more about Princess Annabella of Sereno. With a whole new cast of characters and some reoccurring characters this book did not disappoint!

I loved getting to know Annabella, we’ve only heard about her in passing with the two previous books but now we get to read about her. She was relatable as she navigates starting her own business and having to deal with someone she isn’t exactly fond of. Aka her best friend older brother, Prince Leo. Add in someone trying to kill her and Prince Leo and you got one stress out character. But she handles it with such grace and is able to fix her relationship with Leo so it all ends well!

Prince Leo is a new character and he did not disappoint. He is the next in line for his kingdom crown so he had a lot of pressure. To add to that everyone in the kingdom is wondering when he is going to settle down. With Annabella visiting his sister to help with her wedding, Leo is drawn to her. Between their love of desserts and some debates Leo and Annabella have to see past everything that happened between them and decide if a relationship is worth the pressure and the public scrutiny.

Royal Intrigue is a suspense romance, filled with enemies to lovers vibe, witty banter, and mouth watering dessert you’ll want to have. This is a quick read and once you start, you’ll won’t be able to stop.

These thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks Covenant Communication and Traci Hunter Abramson for the ARC.

I couldn’t put down this thrilling and beautiful read. I loved the way Traci makes her characters feel real and have genuine reactions. They are always caring and considerate of feelings and tactfully handle situations. The Romance is beautiful and just plain lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed this story!!
Princess Annabelle has come to the Kingdom of Alemeda to help plan her best friend’s Wedding and met with Danger. Narrowly missing a bomb explosion she and Leo need to find out who’s trying to kill the Royals. When pouring over possibilities and combing through backgrounds to find whom has deadly plans Annabelle and Leo start to feel differently about each other.

Prince Leonardo is tasked with picking up his sister’s best friend, whom he has never gotten along with. When they go through a traumatic experience together, they are determined to figure out who was the target. Leo puts so much in his shoulders it’s a relieve to share the burden, even a little bit with Annabelle.

This royal romantic suspense novel was so good! I loved both Leo and Annabelle's characters. I was excited for Annabelle's story from other books in this series and I love that her love interest was another royal of a neighboring kingdom. Leo and Annabelle had some enemies to lovers vibes to start with that turned out to be that delicious tension that comes when the characters actually have liked and pined over the other for so long but saw the other person as out of their realm of possibilities (best friend's brother kind of thing) so being standoffish was the only way to fight the attraction. And what an attraction Leo and Annabelle had. I really liked watching them work together to solve the mystery of who was trying to harm the royal family and why. They grew closer and I loved how that allowed them to realize the truth of their feelings all along. They had such a good connection and chemistry, I was cheering them from the start and I loved the way this book turned out. It was hard to put down.
If you are looking for a great royal romance, an edge of your seat suspense novel, and a happily ever after that will make you grin, then don't miss picking up this book. Another winner for me from Traci Hunter Abramson.

This was just perfect. Abramson writes some of the best suspense books and I am always excited to read a new one. Royal Intrigue is the 6th book in her Royal series.
Annabelle and Leo were both a lot of fun. They were serious about their responsibilities but they still prioritized their family. It was cool to see a different royal family and the dynamics between Annabelle and Leo.
They had an easy connection because of their history and I loved their banter. They were both trying to figure out how to deal with the situation that they were in and protect their loved ones.
This had me intrigued from the beginning and there were so many surprises. I didn’t know who the bad guy was or how the book would end. I adored Annebelle and Leo, they were such a good match! The romance was sweet and it was cool to meet new characters and see some old ones.
I would totally recommend Royal Intrigue. I am hoping that there will be more books in the series and I have an idea about who it might be. This was a perfect blend of suspense and romance. Royal Intrigue is a clean romantic suspense.
Book Highlights:
Royalty
Best friend’s brother
Working together
Family vibes
Characters that feel like friends
Chocolate dessert
Easy banter

If you love royal romance with a twist of danger, Royal Intrigue by Traci Hunter Abramson absolutely delivers! This fast paced read opens quite literally with a bang when Princess Annabelle arrives in Alameda only to just barely escape an explosion! But just who was the target. Annabelle, her best friend Princesses Tayla, or Tayla's brother Prince Leo?!? From there, it’s a whirlwind of assassination attempts, an undercover investigation, and slow building friends/enemies-ish to lovers romance between two royals who know each other just well enough to try and deny their chemistry… until they just can’t anymore.
Leo and Annabelle’s dynamic is equal parts sweet and sassy, and their forced proximity as they hunt down a killer keeps the tension high! (Both in the romance and suspense department!) The book is layered with loyalty, royal responsibility, and just the right amount of banter. I especially loved the glimpses of real life struggles like Tayla’s anxiety and her inner strength, which just adds depth to an already rich storyline.
Whether you’ve read the other books in the series or are jumping in fresh, this one’s easy to follow and seriously hard to put down. It’s clean, clever, and so much fun. Five stars for another royal win!

Abramson delivers a heart stopping, swoon worthy, romantic suspense novel! With royals and murder plots, the reader never knows what to expect next! Annabelle and her sweetness and goodness made her a character the reader could connect with and understand. She was beautiful inside and out and was down to earth. Leo was handsome and so thoughtful. I enjoyed watching their friendship grow into something more. My favorite supporting character was the chef Duran. He wanted to come off as indifferent and perhaps stoic, but deep down, he had a soft spot for Annabelle and it endeared him to me. Abramson manages to pack everything you need inside this story. Friendship, love, suspense, bombs, gunshots, whodunnit, and so much more! If you want a whirlwind of a story with all of the emotions and heart pounding suspense, then this is the book for you! Five stars for Royal Intrigue by Traci Hunter Abramson. I received a copy of this book for free; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Who doesn't love a good fairy tale turned romantic suspense story!? I mean I sure do, especially if Traci Hunter Abramson is writing it. She has such a unique voice in the suspense world and I love it! She has a way of pulling you into the storyline and just letting you enjoy the ride.

I did figure out the bad guy pretty easily, BUT I didn't mind it which is weird for me. I always want to be surprised in my suspense novels. But with Abramson it's different. I don't mind it because I can focus on other important parts of the story - like amazing characters - yes I am talking about Annabelle and Leo!

If you haven't read anything from Abramson, then what are you waiting for!? She has quickly rose near the top of my favorites list for romantic suspense. Highly recommend.

I loved this one! I love romantic suspense and continuing a great series with the royal sisters was delightful. Annabelle and Leo both had such strong and incorrect opinions of each other, despite being friends.

“Something swelled inside him, as though his heart didn’t quite have enough room in his chest.”

Leo is the Prince heir who’s had a tough time shaking a playboy image he doesn’t really have. Annabelle is his sister's annoying best friend and a Princess from a neighboring country.

When Annabelle comes to visit to help Tayla plan her engagement party, things quickly go of course. This book is full of suspense, mystery, and accidents. Through it all, Leo and Annabelle have to learn to work together. Also, when he tells her she’ll never be someone’s flavor of the month…holy swoon!

“I can’t see the end for us.”

Loved this book! I was hooked from the first page! I thoroughly enjoy books that feature royals, add a bit of mystery and intrigue and it’s a win for me!

I really loved how well Leo and Annabelle knew each other and how they just naturally fell into a new dynamic. It was clear they held each other in special regard from the beginning. The various experiences they shared and the dramatic events throughout brought them even closer together. They made a great team investigating the case and both came up with brilliant ways to get to the bottom of what was happening, all the while embracing these new feelings for each other. There were some great plot twists as well. This was a solid story! Definitely would recommend.

This book opens with a bang. And the plot stayed intense through the whole book. I loved it so much!

I loved Princess Annabelle. When things get dangerous, she was not afraid to try to figure out what was going on and who was behind it.

Prince Leo is pretty great as well. He knows just what to do when things get dangerous as he's picking Annabelle up. And he is able to keep her calm and safe when he needs to. I loved how he and Annabelle work together to figure out the puzzle.

I also loved that other characters I'd loved from this series make cameo appearances. It's always fun to learn what's happened to favorite characters.

This book is such a great romantic suspense. I did not want to put it down!

The Royal Intrigue by Traci Hunter Abramson is an action-packed novel filled with fun adventure, a thrilling mystery, and a slow burn swoony romance that kept reading page after page late into the night!

Princess Annabelle and Prince Leonardo have been family friends for a long time…you know, long enough that Leo used to just think of Annabelle as his little sister’s annoying best friend. There was a moment it may have changed, but thanks to some paparazzi, Leo sealed his heart and moved on. Years later, Leo and Annabelle reunite and their enemies-to-lovers vibe is not only thing that explodes…

Fun moments:

Dynamite re-meet
Huddle method
“Annabelle, you never do anything halfway. And no one knows your market better than you do.”
Alll of the banter
“You are potent”
Sailboat
Whoa!! Didn’t see that coming
….or that!!!

I really love everything about this book. I adore all of their past memories that they discuss, and how they compliment each other in so many ways. I love the adventure and mystery that the author weaves into this book and especially, how the author blows my mind with the ending. I highly recommend reading this book, and for sure, it will be a re-read for me!

The Royal Intrigue is book 6 of The Royals series, but it can be read as a standalone. Fair warning - there are characters mentioned from previous books that after reading this one, you will want to go and dive into all of their stories too.

This may be by favorite of Traci’s Royal series so far! She has such a gift for writing romantic suspense, and this one had me engrossed from the start! I didn’t want to put it down! And I didn’t figure out who was behind everything until the characters did, and I love that! I loved Tayla, Annabelle, and Leo’s friendship. Annabelle especially seems like she would be a great person to have on your side. I can’t wait for the next book in this series, and I hope my guess (that I’m keeping to myself for now) is right on who it will be about.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved getting to read another book in the Royals series. I loved the relationship between Annabelle and Leo. I loved what a great team they made and how well they understood each other and were able to relate to each other. I loved how they didn’t expect to fall in love but as they went through all that they did they couldn’t help it. I also loved the suspense in this story and how the people behind everything was not who you expected. I would read this book again.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

#RoyalIntrigue #NetGalley

I read this book in less than twenty-four hours. It was hard to put down.
This is book six in The Royals series.
Princess Annabelle is ready to help her best friend Princess Tayla with her wedding plans. What Annabelle didn't plan on was being greeted by her best friends brother, Prince Leo, and a detonated bomb in a suitcase that looked like Annabelle's. Leo and Annabelle have never gotten along, but they need to find out who the bomb was meant for and decide to work together to discover the person behind the bomb.

I loved this book! There was something about it that sucked me in. It starts off with a bang and continues to include a lot of action and intrigue that kept me guessing. I enjoyed the chemistry and familiarity between the characters.

I was rooting for the two main characters, but wasn’t sure how it could work out without being unethical. I loved how the author gave me what I wanted in the best way.

This was a quick read for me, because I didn’t want to put it down. It was such a nice light romantic suspense that kept my attention the whole time.

Clean Romantic Suspense

I’m going to warn you, you won’t be able to put this down, so don’t start it until you have a few hours free! Annabelle gets her chance for a relationship with Leo, while trying to figure out who’s trying to kill whom. Super sweet, very clean. So much suspense! And no epilogue. You’re killing me Traci! I loved hearing how a few of the previous couples were doing!

I love that Ms. Abramson stays true. You can always count on her books to be engaging, interesting, clean and enjoyable to read.

I read this in a day or so, picking it up in the odd moments. Easy reading, nothing too strenuous or scary. Just a bit of escapism with some characters that feel like real people (even though in this series they're royalty).

Whenever I see a new book by this author, it's a must read. Thank heavens the public library keeps up with them.

I always know I'm getting solid writing when I pick up a book by Ms. Abramson.

I spent the whole time trying to figure out the villain before the reveal. I was on the right track.

It's a wonderful friends to lovers story with life threatening attacks to drive the characters together and build both their chemistry and the suspense as the story unfolds.

I've enjoyed the whole series. I suggest binge reading for best continuity.

Of the several great romantic suspense series that Traci Hunter Abramson has created, the Royals series is my least favorite--but it is still so much better than other authors' books in the genre that I enjoy reading each new entry. This is a good story and it's both fun and a little envy-provoking to see how rich and easy these people's lives are, even though they are trying to serve their people and make a contribution to the world. And, oh yeah, avoid the people who are trying to kill them.
