I’m a marginal housekeeper, closet chef, and dabbling gardener, but home is always my favorite place to be.

Donna Snow’s Bible study, “Be Strong and Courageous,” delves into the book of Joshua and points us to Jesus. Joshua succeeded Moses and is a wonderful picture of a devoted servant of God and a faithful model of a godly leader, who had big sandals to fill. Covering this epic story with a mix of abundant historical research, thought provoking applications, and personal stories, Donna challenges us with a rich study filled with Scripture. It’s an in-depth study of God’s judgement and wrath, along with His grace and mercy. I’m a huge fan of these tremendously well-done studies!

As one who has walked through a significant leadership transition, I was struck again by Joshua's story of following Moses and leading the Israelites into the Promised Land. Donna's passion for reading, digesting, and harvesting applicable truths from Scripture comes through in spades in this study. Fabulous Bible study with great insights. I really enjoyed the format and the size of this study which made it easier to handle then some of the larger books. The author had strong ideas but also encouraged the reader to study deep and find their own understanding of the scripture.
