You’re an adult now. You finally have that glorious freedom and independence…
But wait a second, what’s the difference between a credit card and a debit card? How does health insurance actually work? And how do you change your car’s oil again? Ugh. Well, no one ever said becoming a grown-up was easy.
I Can’t Adult Today: 50 Firsts of Being an Adult shares secrets they don’t teach you in school and tips that make growing up a little easier.

Mom got me this book for Christmas. It's honestly not great, it's very surface-level information that anyone with an ounce of common sense should know. Most of the points that are in the book shouldn't even have to be talked about at all. I've always considered myself a very independent person, but this is frankly sad that most of this even needs to be said. And on the pages that are about technical topics that I would actually like to know more about, it's done in such shallow depth that I don't actually learn anything. This whole book feels like an infinite money glitch thrown together by some author who farted it out in a weekend.
I picked this up just to see what was in it, unfortunately I have lived enough that I learned most of it already! ;) For anyone who is just starting out and didn't have anyone to teach them some of the tips of what it means to be an adult such as debit/credit card differences, budgeting, living on your own for the first time this book is for you.
I picked up this book a little late. I’m currently 28 years old. However, I still learned a few things. This book is perfect for an adult that just moved out of their parent’s house. I wish I had this book earlier in life, it would’ve saved me some trouble.
