Wow. This book has a great set of personal stories of people speaking with loved ones or having experiences with the afterlife. It was interesting how different people’s experiences have been, seeing people who have passed on helping others in their passing or helping them to survive, to being able to speak to loved ones who died tragically. The stories are both sad and lovely in some instances. For me, reading the story of Maria, who through meditation was able to communicate with her young sons that had been murdered by their own father was astounding. Such a tragic story but with her experiences came healing for her and hope that there is a better place for those who have passed on. I really loved her story and how it helped her. Her journal of her experiences is pretty amazing, I would love to read more about her story. This is definitely a great compilation of experiences for anyone who is curious about afterlife communication. I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Up until recently, I have been very fortunate to have never really lost anyone close to me so I have not given much thought to afterlife communication. Since my Aunt Wanda's death a couple of months ago, I have been not only hoping for it but doing some research on the subject. I was given this book and immediately dove in in hopes that I could find a way to communicate with her for not only myself, but for my mom and grandma as well. I love that the author has given you 16 different methods and that each is backed not only by the expert in that method, but also by true accounts of each. Some of the methods are definitely not something that I would necessarily have believed possible but I know with an open mind and heart, most anything is!!! I personally enjoyed the chapter on dream connections and receiving and understanding signs. I love the idea of seeing my Aunt Wanda again in my dreams and my mom has already seen several signs that she is still with us :) I would recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one or anyone who is curious about the afterlife.
Afterlife Communication is a compilation of people’s accounts of their experiences of communicating with those who have passed away. They stories are grouped together by one of sixteen ‘proven’ methods. Before reading, I had thought that there would be more information on the proven methods themselves, but there was very little information on why each method was considered legitimate. I felt like more context and information on each of the methods would have made this book more interesting and believable. For instance, one of the first methods mentioned is voices of spirits recorded on the pc through a conversation on a phone. There was very little information on the process itself, so I was more distracted by wondering why this is considered a good or trusted method. The stories of the various people’s experiences are interesting in and of themselves and it is eye opening to see the variety of methods. This is probably more of a book for people who already believe or are open to believing in afterlife communication, not for people looking for strong research or information on the processes themselves.

Right away I was intrigued with this book. What if it were possible to communicate with the dead? To speak to a loved one who has passed away? The problem with this, is not that it is necessarily impossible, but do you need a book telling you how to do it? My belief has always been that the dead never truly leave you and if you need to communicate all you need to do is use your heart. I tend to feel that this book might offer things that are not necessary or even possible, I think that miracles do happen but not in a way that we may be able to fully comprehend. Maybe the author of this book is even taking advantage of those desperate people who have lost people important to them.I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was really interesting to read. I'm a believer but I don't like to spend a whole lot of time thinking about whether or not these events actually occurred, but it is definitely something interesting to read about. I don't think I would ever try any of these methods, I'd rather let those who've passed.. rest in peace. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking to contact loved ones in the "afterlife".
this is a must read. Once I started the book I couldn't put it down. I learned so much and recommend this book to people who want to connect with the other side.
