A girl with psychic abilities and a boy with mysterious powers must unravel secrets and battle dark forces in order to save their world in the final Ravenfall adventure.
As whispers of winter beckon, Anna Ballinkay and Colin Pierce brace for change. The Ravenfall Inn, a magical nexus between worlds, is bustling with preparations for the Winter Solstice ball, which will bring together a mix of otherworldly guests and festive enchantments.
Amid the festivities, a young boy named Declan arrives and claims his new identity as a Raven, sparking a mission to rebuild the legendary Ravenguard.
While the inn buzzes with excitement, a sinister mystery Supernatural beings are found lifeless, drained of their magic. As suspicion mounts, Anna, Colin, and their allies must uncover the cause before Ravenfall is destroyed.
Can the Ravenguard rise in time, or will the magic of Ravenfall be lost forever? Ancient legends stir and loyalties are tested in Kalyn Josephson’s thrilling series conclusion.
Kalyn Josephson is the NYT bestselling author of THE STORM CROW duology, RAVENFALL series, and upcoming THIS DARK DESCENT. By day, she's a Technical Writer, which leaves room for too many bad puns about technically being a writer. She lives in the Bay Area with two black cats (who are more like a tiny dragon and an even tinier owl).
I'm so sad to have to say goodbye to the Ravenfall characters! I don't want this series to end.
Once again THANK YOU to the author and publisher for including a "previously on..." recap before the start of the book. I truly wish this was the norm for every series published regardless of age.
This final book in the series really pushes Anna and Colin in terms of both their magical abilities, and in who they are as people. While I had an idea that the unexpected visitor wasn't all they appeared to be, I was pleasantly surprised at how that plot point turns out.
I will say that I feel like the ending was a bit abrupt. The target audience might not care, but this adult reader was really hoping for an epilogue showing a snippet of what life is like at The Ravenfall Inn a year or so later.
Michael Crouch and Keylor Leigh do a great job with the audiobook narration.

This book was fantastic!!! I loved every sentence and every chapter of it. It was full of mystery yet it was calm. The romance was so sweet🥰awww young love. So cute. However I do wish that Colin realized he liked Anna rather than Leah cause their relationship would’ve made more sense. I also do wish that Anna at least developed feelings for Declan. That would’ve been cute too but I guess this story wants to show that a guy and girl can be friends without there being any romantic feelings involved. I don’t believe that at all but everybody had their own opinions about things.
The imagery and details of this story was spectacular. The author made me vividly visualize the scenes and feel as if I’m right along side the characters. I became so attached to Colin and Anna that I want this series to go for eternity. Anna and Colin became my best friends too and even though they’re very much younger than me, they did give great advice and showed that being brave even when you’re scared or uncertain means you’re stronger than ever.
I loved all of these characters and I 100% recommend this book and this entire series.
I loved this finale to this spooky magical series. The fourth book features more around Christmas which I loved. Introducing new elements like Fae and new characters it kept an intriguing story. I am begging the author Kalyn for maybe a spin off story about Liam and Hal because the ending made me so happy when he blushed at Hal. I am so sad this series is over because I would never get tired of these magical novels coming out each year. 🎃🍁🎄❄️
Thank you to Random House Kids for the free book. These opinions are my own.
Ravenguard is the fourth and sadly, the final, book in the Ravenfall series. I hadn't realized when I began that it would be the last book. But I think the ending suited it very well and did wrap up the series. I wouldn't mind extra epilogues and bonus scenes though.
This series always brings an excellent mix of magic and adventure, and this book stood up to the promise of the previous ones. We get to see all of the previous characters plus some new ones. And it focuses on the choices that both Anna and Colin have to make as they determine what they want out of the future.
This is always one of my top recommendations for kids who want a world of magic and seeing how kids step into and learn how to use power.
Very disappointed. This is not a conclusion. It feels as though the last 25% or so is missing. 3 stars for the characters themselves, or my rating would be lower.
5 stars for the end of the series. i am going to miss them all so much. im BEGGING for a liam spin off series. also, please give me more hal? i’ve been so curious and i got like 2 seconds of him.
Pretty ambience for winter reading but I felt like this one the characters weren’t as thoughtfully developed and the story overall felt a little rushed or jumbled
REVIEW ➽ It's the final Ravenfall book! This time it's a wintery setting with the Winter Solstice Ball coming soon. When a new Raven shows up, there's talk of rebuilding the legendary Ravenguard. Colin is doing his best to train Dylan, but can't help but be infuriated with his arrogant and provocative behavior. I found it a bit annoying that we had another storyline like this, as it felt too similar to Witchwood where Anna clashed with Leah. This time it's Dylan's turn to clash with a new character and I wish the author hadn't done the same storyline twice. It's clear that Dylan's instant dislike of Colin is suspicious and that he's slowly trying to turn everyone against him. I still liked this as a finale, but it was probably the least memorable book for me in the series!
