Traveling to the future!

Follows the same plot line as all other Magic Tree House stories.

That being said it's still a cute story. Despite getting trapped on the moon briefly Jack and Annie find a way to help Morgan.

Jack and Annie are sent to the Moon in their latest hunt for an M object to help break Morgan's curse. But the Moon is pretty empty. What can they find that starts with an M there?

I like the Moon setting and little bits of info on what it is like on the Moon woven into the story naturally (like reduced gravity and thereby weight, challenges and restrictions of moonwalking, etc.). I also liked the twist in what the M thing was. There's a little of an unsolved mystery as the siblings are helped by an unidentified rocket man, but this does complete their story arc quest of freeing Morgan.

Violence: Perilous circumstances when the kids almost get stuck and run out of air, but they end up ok.
Ethnic diversity: Jack and Annie are white American, Morgan is a legendary white British figure.

Other: The kids go to the treehouse at night when their parents think they are in bed, but technically they will get back at the same time so it is like they were never gone.

Annie pulls Jack out of bed to search for their next M clue, using the Moon as light they make their way into the Magic Treehouse where they wish to visit the Moon. In a space pod with no one else around, they find space suits and head outside. Sharing a fun story about Jack and Annie, Laird weaves in facts within the story so you’re reading while you learn. The illustrations were phenomenal and the story is engaging.

Pretty good visuals and a fun adventure, not much real story though. Small message about the world being full of wonders. It is a little disappointing that the payoff for breaking the spell over Morgan was to learn that this was just a practical joke played on her.

I feel the need to rank the first 8 in this series having now read them. I’m considering the art, story, and message in my ranking.

Although I didn't necessarily NEED a graphic novel version of the Magic Tree House stories, this colorful adaptation works well since it stays true to the original one while offering images that will tickle readers' fancy. As Jack and Annie time travel to the Moon in order to break the spell on Morgan le Fay, they don space suits, experience the loss of gravity, and meet a Moon Man, all of which is depicted in various colorful panels. Reading this one was just as fun as the original one. After all, who wouldn't want to travel to the Moon for a few hours?

Yet another graphic novel installment of the magic treehouse series! Just like the last one, this was fast, enjoyable read, with a really really cute art style and a simple plot. I with there were more installments of this out, but this is the most recent one!! I may just wait for the next one to come out instead of reading the book, but we'll see! Either way, this was a nice little read and I would love if the rest of the series (or atleast a lot of it) was adapted into these cute graphic novels

I liked it! This was more illustrated than the actual series(which I did not read)Makes me wish I was stronger reader when I was a kid. This was a good one, I can't wait to read more and hopefully this sticks all the way to the final book in the original series and make some for the Merlin Missions.

Jack and Annie have to find the last M thing to save Morgan. In this book they go to the moon ....in the future. We learn about gravity and breathing on the moon while the two search for the M thing. A nice adventure with information snuck into the story.

Love this manga edition. Such a cool closure for this 8 book series to have ended on the moon. Annie is still quite naughty and impulsive not thinking twice before acting so Jack takes good care of her always. Loved the art and to visit the moon. Plus has a history lesson at the end.
