A firefighting yeti who sets her heart aflame. Newly single and ready for adventure, Emma embarks on her dream canoe trip deep in the Alaska wilds. She doesn’t expect to meet Yeshe, a real-life, firefighting yeti she nearly flashes in a meet-cute gone sideways. When a sudden fire traps her on his creek, Yeshe comes to the rescue, sweeping her into strong, furry arms. Their time together ignites a passion that burns hotter than wildfire. But one unforgettable week together isn’t enough, and when their time is up, Emma wishes those furry arms will never let her go.
A rebel in disguise who challenges his rule against love. Yeshe has always avoided romantic relationships, never imagining his world would collide with a city girl like Emma. But from the moment their paths cross, he finds himself drawn to her independence, determination, and hidden tattoos—just how many does she have? When a twist of fate brings her to his remote cabin and he saves her from a lightning-sparked fire, Yeshe can’t resist a short-term fling. However, when lust turns to love, Yeshe reminds her their time is up.
A summer trip to Alaska and a rendezvous with a yeti is enough to convince Emma that North to the Future is a motto she can adopt, but can she convince Yeshe to let her in and take a chance on love?
Neva Post grew up in a log house in Interior Alaska where she walked uphill both ways to school at temperatures of negative forty with only the aurora borealis to light her way. At least, that’s how she remembers it.
She’s equally happy on a snowy trail or coaxing vegetables to grow in her garden during the long Alaskan summer days. When she’s not waxing skis or chasing voles out of her cabbage, she’s at her computer. Neva’s novels include paranormal elements—she can’t help it—with smart and dependable characters who always get their HEA.
Such a sweet and wholesome love story! The MCs were so cute together, and I loved them as individuals as well. They each had a past trauma to overcome on the way to their HEA, which made them believable and relatable. Their schmexy scenes were both hot and romantic, which is my favorite combination. When the emotional connection is there, the fire burns brighter ;) As with the previous books in the series, I was swept away by the wonders of Alaska; the writing transports you there, it's so good! There is something new to learn in every book, in this case it was canoeing in the lakes and rivers of Alaska, and surviving the elements (and mosquitor :D ). Also, the long days where there is 15 minutes between sunset and sunrise - I loved being immersed in that! There was a found family vibe in the story that I enjoyed as well. In short, my favorite book in a favorite series!
I always enjoy this series! They are a perfect light read, sweet with a touch of adventure. I loved the detail of Sasquatches also existing in this world, I wonder what else is out there?
Thank you to Neva Post and Booksprout for the ARC. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Emma is going on an adventure all alone. She'll stop to visit her sister who moved to Alaska the year before to be with her boyfriend, Dorje. No one has met him or seen a picture of him. So she'll try to get the pics to send home. She's checked and doubld checked her list she's ready. She arrives at her sister's house to find out Yetis are real and her sister is dating one. That night she meets Dorje's brother, YESHE. She's startled when while she's pulling up her shirt he tells her he's there. YESHE is with his fire fighting crew relaxing now that the fire is finally out. He's covered head to toe in ash and his once pristine white fur is yucky! He's heading home via his brother's, Dorje. But it also entails a visit to the Artic Whimsy gift shop where they carry his carvings. He wants to discuss a consignment or wholesale deal. He arrives at his brother's place and heads to his room. While he's in the bathroom Emma stumbles in ready to pull up her shirt. He startles her when he tells her he's there. Then he spies a bird tattoo under her arm. He starts to call her "little bird'. In this first meeting she is impressed that he noticed her tattoo but didn;t tell him about the others she has. He is giving her all his attention. Wow that's never happened before. She is a tad discombabulated. They spend the next day together when YESHE has to go talk to the shop owners. Afterwards he promised Emma to teach her how to drive stick. Then they head back to her sister's place and join the potluck. Emma has to get rest to meet her early flight. She has kept it secret that she no longer has a boyfriend and she's going on the canoe adventure alone. Meanwhile YESHE is feeling things that is making him question himself. But he realizes that its better if he only has to rely on himself. He needs to put Emma out of his mind. He just hopes he can. The next morning early she's on her way to Birch Creek. Then she's alone. Time to show she can be career minded and an adventurer. The next day she discovers her pilot had dropped her off in the wrong spot. Now she has to figure out which creek she was going to canoe down. Little Caribou Creek. Why did that sound familiar. As she traced the route for the canoe trip she finds one area that's not recommended to navigate. Should she call to the people she set her trip up with or go ahead. After a little thought she decides to continue her trip. So far the trip is calm and relaxing until a storm hits. Lightening hits a tree which lights on fire and topples onto another tree which causes both to topple right on the line anchoring her canoe. She can't get to her canoe because there's a wall of orage flames in front of her. What the heck is she going to do?????? And if she survives this how in the world will she rationalize her actions? A moving story of two people who are right for each other but fight the attraction because of "issues".

Rescued by Her Yeti is a standalone paranormal/monster romance by Neva Post and the fourth book of the Alaska Yeti series.
Emma, despite living in a city, is somewhat of recluse - at least to her family, where she feels she needs to be the steady, perfect sister while her sister was the outgoing and wild sister. Emma is ready for a fresh start, and she will start with visiting her sister and her sister's new boyfriend in Alaska (she is sure that her sister is hiding something big) and go on a solo hiking/kayaking adventure trip.
Yeshe is a Yeti and a firefighter in Alaska. He works with group of other yetis and they work jobs that are safe for them without potentially exposing their existence to humans. Yeshe visits his brother and his brother's new mate, where he meets Emma. Emma has just found out about yetis and seems excited for her trip.
There is instant chemistry, but nothing happens until Emma's true story comes to light and Yeshe ends up using his skills to save Emma. Yeshe is a gentle giant and Emma brings out not only his protective skills but a sort of wonderful light that allows his personality to shine. Emma is a resilient woman, but she starts to learn that she doesn't have to depend on only herself, and that she shouldn't compare herself to her sister.
This a sweet, charming and heartwarming monster romance that left me quite happy.

I love the Alaska Yeti Series, and this newest addition was a sweet, fun read. Emma is finally in Alaska for her dream canoe trip, although she is now completing it alone after breaking up with her crappy boyfriend. First, she wants to meet her twin’s new mysterious boyfriend that no-one has seen.
Yeshe was visiting his brother and is surprised to meet Emma. He is immediately attracted to her but has no intention of getting involved with someone who might leave him. However, after rescuing Emma from a fire during her solo trip, he can’t resist spending time with her. The two quickly fall for each other, even if they are not prepared to admit to themselves.
This is a quick, enjoyable read with wonderful characters. Emma is strong and determined, finally letting her true self shine. Yeshe is protective, kind and supportive. This Alaskan town with Yetis and its yeti friendly humans is well developed and sounds like it would be amazing to visit. I can’t wait to read more set in this world.
Emma’s (h) life was predictable, until her ex ruined her dream trip to Alaska. Instead of staying home, she lies to her family and sets off alone, determined to prove she can handle the wilderness. But when a wildfire leaves her stranded, she’s saved by Yeshe (H), a gruff, brooding yeti firefighter who prefers isolation to company. Yeshe doesn’t do relationships, but Emma gets under his skin in a way no one ever has. When one night of passion turns into days on the river together, keeping things "temporary" gets harder. As they navigate the wild, it’s not just Alaska testing them, it’s their growing feelings. But when duty pulls Yeshe away, Emma finishes the trip alone, except now, she knows exactly what she wants. But Yeshe, haunted by his past, keeps his distance, until nearly losing everything forces him to realize what he truly wants. A steamy, wild, and heart-melting paranormal romance with adventure, passion, and one reluctant yeti who never saw love coming.
Gleeful Goblin Review: I just love how this series of interconnected but still standalone stories manage to be distinct from each other but do such a great job of building out more and more of the world they're based in. Being at Book 4 of the series I get a little hit of joy every time I see references to characters I already know and love while getting to know a new couple. This story is a great illustration of how sometimes you need to get WAY outside your comfort zone, take risks, but ultimately follow your heart. Because if you do, fate might just hand you the yeti you never even dreamed of. 5/5 Stars.

I haven't read all of this series but plan on doing so. It was a lovely read. Emma has decided to take a canoe trip after newly single. She ends up trapped in waterway when a wildfire catches up to her. It's the yeti - Yeshe that rescues her and while trapped together, they get to know one another. I will admit, as much as I enjoyed this, I kept thinking of another darker Yeti tale. :D It will be great to grab the books I don't have to enjoy. This is another wonderful addition to the series and I loved seeing another Yeti getting his HEA. However, that being said, it's not like Yeshe was looking for love ;P Emma is so resilient and brave and experiences a lot of character growth. These two together, though, have a hot chemistry that had me rooting hard for them to find their way. I'm really enjoying this series and hope the books keep on coming ;D
This is such a great book. I love monster romances, and Yeshe is a fantastic yeti who is a firefighter. Emma takes her dream vacation to Alaska and meets Yeshe most unusually. Yeshe has to rescue Emma from a fire, which is his job, but it's not the typical way to meet a woman. The chemistry between them is so hot. I enjoyed the plot and the HEA.

Emma was off an adventure by herself after her ex bailed. She makes a stop at her sister's home and finds out yetis are real. She meets Yeshe the brother of her sister's mate. Their chemistry was instant. She leaves to go canoeing and he rescues her when she's in trouble. Loved their story! Received a free copy.
This series is absolutely a favorite of mine. Each one just gets better. Emily and Yeshe were just fated to meet especially with their siblings together.

This Book 4 in The Alaska Yeti Book Series has an entertaining, short, paranormal, Yeti Monster, insta-love romance. It has a well-construction world, unique characters and well-developed scenes. This is a must read story, I cannot wait to read the next book.
Each one of the books in this series has been like a big, warm, furry hug (from a yeti). I love coming back to see each character get their happy ever after!
Book 4 was Yeshe and Emma's story, and I loved it so much.
I always learn new things when I'm reading this series! Did you know that when creating fire lines for a fire break, they need to be 16 - 18 inches wide and all flammable materials removed in that space? Also, today i learned that the state motto of Alaska is 'North to the Future'!
ALSO- are we getting a sasquatch series!? The sneaky mention of sasquatch being real has me very eager to know more 👀
