About the author

Phillip Kennedy Johnson earned a Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas, where he served as Teaching Fellow for the Department of Jazz Studies, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Eastern Kentucky University. SFC Johnson has performed with the Lexington Philharmonic, Dallas Opera, Washington Symphonic Brass, and the Moscow Ballet, and was a member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra from 2004 to 2005. SFC Johnson remains active as a composer, arranger, teacher, and clinician, and also enjoys a second career as a writer of comics and graphic novels. His work has been published by DC Comics, Marvel Comics, BOOM! Studios, and more.

I like the Alien movies and novels, but the stories in this one fell flat. The art and gore are super cool, though, and as a whole, it's a solid trio of 6-issue arcs. Perhaps I've fallen into the Superman trap of there only being so many stories you can tell given these rules. The mix of science and politics helps. It's worth checking out but not one to get excited about.

NOT BAD AT ALL!

The Series Starts out following a corrupt corporation that is responsible for keeping Aliens Captive for experiments. Then the story crosses over into following a mixed team of Androids and Humans attempting to recover the Bio-Weapons and Formulas created for Breeding the Aliens, which would be used to create better/stronger Humans.
