She's the hero to his story. He's the monster to hers.
Ruthless. Arrogant. Handsome.
Kolton Diamond Gambino inherits the position as a Made Man but to cement that power he needs a wife. The quickest way to get married is to arrange a marriage with the crackheads daughter. He figures he will buy Giana's loyalty without risking his heart because love is a luxury he can't afford.
Educated. Ambitious. Beautiful.
Giana Wilson is the perfect daughter to her drug addict mother. She's her family's ticket to a better life. Marrying a black Italian means opening doors that would other wise remain closed to poor blacks. While the notorious Kolton Diamond isn't her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to the arranged marriage to settle her mother's debt. Loving him was never a part of the plan, financial freedom was.
He's the husband she never thought she needed, and she's the weakness he never saw coming...
I'm not a picky reader when it comes to grammatical errors. I understand editors are human too. However, I've never seen a WHOLE book missing so many S's (and apostrophe S's). Either the editor doesn't speak English as a first language or they were trying to be funny. Because almost every single page of the whole book is crazy work. The storyline had potential but I'm not interested in a part too. Felt to much like a young adult book. And I can't tell if it's from the grammar or the actual random formatting. Like it's middle school writing and then thesaurus writing and then back to middle school. I'm sure the author is a great person and hopefully their other works are better.
I will make an arrangement with this devil any day of the week! Kolton Diamond Gambino was a forced to be reckoned with. He was born into money, privilege and power but to obtain his rightful seat at the throne, he has to be married. He decides to cash in on an old debt to make this arrangement happen, and Giana is floored when she hears the proposition. Stuck between a rock & a hard place, she makes decisions that she wouldn’t normally make for the sake of her family. This love story is a whirlwind that I thoroughly enjoyed! Could easily have a part 2 with this ending. Great read and I will be checking out more from this author.
How you just end my happy ending like this? I soooo so enjoyed this book. From the Prologue to the end…maybe the end! These MCs are so engaging and keep you routing for them to finally give one another a chance. One mishap shakes everything up in the wrong way. Arranged or not, secrets can ruin a new marriage. Now I’m happy and then my jaw drops cause baybeee what!?!? You so wrong for that on so many levels. I’m here waiting tho…
It’s clear that a lot of effort and passion went into creating this book, and I want to be respectful and responsible with my review.
Unfortunately, I found myself unable to finish the book as the number of grammatical errors made it difficult to fully engage with the content. The issues impacted the overall flow and cohesion, which made it challenging to follow the narrative.
I sincerely wish I could offer more constructive feedback on the full work, but given the circumstances, I wasn’t able to do so. Nonetheless, I want to congratulate you on the release of your book. Reaching this milestone is a significant achievement, and I wish you much success with its reception.
I'm concerned about 8-year-old Diamond making significant decisions at such a young age. It would have been better if the story had taken more time to develop. To me, the storyline feels rushed.
At 8yrs old, Diamond witnessed his parents getting killed.. taken to his uncles home, then left & on his way to his dad 2nd home, he witnessed a crack head giving birth to a baby girl, giving her box cutters to cut the umbilical cord.. being in the mafia family and being groomed to be a Made Man, he grew up quick.. on his journey to be a MM, his must marry.. in comes Gianna, whom happens to be crack head daughter years later.. Diamond had been checking on them from afar and watching.. when she was 24yo, Diamond went to her mother Jean and informed it was time to cash in on returned favor.. as he had let Jean and Diamond live rent free in his dad 2nd home all these years.. Gianna loathed the idea of marriage to a stranger.. especially when she was in love with Jacob, who turned out to be married with kids.. as time spent she started to like her as did he.. but then she betrayed him and he made her pay, still marrying her.. ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger.. the overall plot was good, but the grammar got to be a bit much at times, taking away from the story
I don't know how I really feel about this situation 😔 like you been watching her since she was born I just don't know 😔 ok
Then up and Marry her But eventually she falls to but gotta think more realistically To find out the man you married been in the Shadows since you were a baby then decided when you became of age to marry you ..
But her ex was trash your married get up out of here...
Protecting from the shadows, not putting your guard down to assure everyone else is safe and holding on to whatever you know to your chest will keep people on their toes.
Cornelia may Gianna and Kolton talk you into insomnia for both Luca and Ferninando needs to be handled.
I enjoyed this story. I am not usually into age gaps but arranged marriage is one of my favorite tropes. The FMC made a choice that I felt she should have accepted more accountability but eventually she kinda does . All in all I enjoyed this read and would read more from this author.
This was not a good read for me. The grammatical errors were distracting for me. I mean even the subjects and verbs didn’t agree in many places. The author seemed to rush this plot. A lot more development between Kolton and Gianna would’ve helped a lot. Then to add a cliffhanger to all of the above has me frowning. I probably won’t be reading book 2. Nah.
This book is what I would consider a good pallet cleanser. It's very neutral, I didn't get any feelings for or about the characters. But, the grammatical errors ! I know we all make them. But there is no way someone actually proofread this book.
Quick little dark romance a black Italian caught me from the beginning I was hooked I hope to hear more from them my vet first read from this author short and sweet loved it
