Tate Gallo had a type – emotionally unavailable bikers who were more feral than serious relationship material.
The day she turned thirty, she decided to make a No more biker boys. She deserved more. She wanted to be someone’s world.
But then he stumbled in bloodied, bruised, and in need of help. One look into his dark eyes, and Tate realized her life would never be the same again.
She wouldn’t fall for him. She couldn’t, not for her heart’s sake. But one night never hurt anyone…right?
But with one taste of his lips and touch of his hand, Tate knew she couldn’t escape his pull.
Wylder was incredibly reckless, ridiculously daring, and craved danger. He couldn’t feel anything unless he was pushing the limits, chasing his own demise. But the night he met Tate Gallo, he found a new purpose—to worship the woman who made him feel something again.
But could the emotional scars of his past be easily wiped away or would they chase him, wreaking havoc on his world and the woman he came to love?
Crave is a short but incredibly sweet and loving novella! This is the first work of Chelle that I read, and I absolutely loved it. She has such an easy-going, fun-loving writing style and I completely fell for it.
The book starts with Tate turning 30. Five years ago she said goodbye to her relationship with Rowdy. It was always on and off. And after she nearly got killed she got enough of it. She swears off biker boys on her birthday and is ready for a new and fresh start. She must come first in a relationship. Not the club.
A week later she is at the bar when two young girls walk in and ask for a shirley temple. She gives them one on the house when a regular tells her they are Maddox and Hazel. And that their grandmother was supposed to look after them. Their father is Wylder. But she doesn't know him. But she knows the grandmother who comes once a week to the bar to eat and socialize. And she brings the girls home.
And there she comes face to face with a huge man who cast a shadow upon her when he opens the door. And my oh my, she has sworn off biker dudes, but this specimen.. She can admire! And that is what kickstarts the book.
I fell madly in love with Tate and her family. They are busy bodies and they are so incredibly nosy. But I love them. You feel the love between all three generations that span the family. And I adore them all. Especially her match making grandma!
And Wylder. My lord, for such a big guy, she is such a sweetie. I love his love for his daughters. I love that grumpy glare. And I love that he starts to love again.
And together they are just magical. I had a grin on my face for the majority of the book.
If you need a quick, hot and fun read then pick this one up! I absolutely loved and devoured it in one sitting.
5 huge stars for this wonderful book.
And I'll definitely check out all the other books about Tate's family members. I can't wait to get to know them even better.
She wouldn’t fall for him. She couldn’t, not for her heart’s sake. But one night never hurt anyone…right?
But with one taste of his lips and touch of his hand, Tate knew she couldn’t escape his pull.
Tate wasn't looking for love, especially after so much heartbreak, but along came 2 girls and a single dad all needing something good in their lives. This is my first Chelle Bliss read and despite being a quick read, it was a great one! Crave is just the beginning in Tate and Wylder's story, a spin off and prequel for the Men of Inked series and I cannot wait for more! I'm looking forward to seeing where Tate, Wylder and the Gallo family take us next!
Tropes: - Grumpy x Sunshine - Single Dad - Age Gap - Friends to Lovers - Opposites Attract - family dynamic
I haven't read Chelle before but now find myself wanting to immerse myself more into the worlds that she has created. This was a great intro novella to new characters and seems to have a lot of possibility on where it could go. In this one, we meet Tate and Wylder. Tate is a next gen from another one of the Men of Inked series where her dad is the man star. Wylder seems new (from what I gathered). He is the brother to 2 guys that are part of the MC where Tate's ex boyfriend is. He has two daughters and is a little lost after his wife left him and them. Now Tate & Wylder have bumped into each other and are realizing that they are feeling things they haven't felt in a while. Wylder finds himself wanting to explore what they have, and Tate finds herself hesitant as she has just told herself no casual hookups. I liked the buildup in this one. They both decide to be friends and go from there but then at the end they share a pretty hot kiss!! The next book set to come out in October centers around them now that Wylder has decided he wants Tate in his life.
This was super fast read. I liked it because it was more of a buildup of what is to come in the next book versus a really fast story that is usually some sort of insta love with not a ton of character building. I am looking forward to book 2 later in the year! Thank you to Chelle and Valentine PR for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review :)
Just wanted to give you a quick heads-up about "Crave," the first book in the Men of Inked Sinners series. It's a cozy grumpy/sunshine, single dad romance, perfect for a light read. Now, it's not a full-length novel but rather a novella, setting the stage for Wylder and Tate Gallo's story. You'll get a glimpse into the wild and entertaining world of the Gallo family, filled with lively interactions and witty dialogues. This is important to know because rather than following a specific plot, this is more like an introduction and a tiny little character study, and should be read, and thus was reviewed by me, as such. Since I am big on plot, I'd go with 3.5 ⭐, but I like the characters and the expectations are set now, so I gladly round up to 4 ⭐.
Wylder, our main man, is a grumpy single dad trying to navigate life with two daughters and a heap of stress. Then there's Tate Gallo, who's turning 30 and swearing off emotionally unavailable bikers for good. But fate has other plans when their worlds collide.
Their chemistry is off the charts, evident even in just a few kisses. And with the hilarious Gallo family antics thrown in, you're in for one wild ride. Will Tate repeat past mistakes, and can Wylder trust love again?
Chelle Bliss sets the stage perfectly for what promises to be a heartwarming love story. Tate is just as fiery as her family, and she might be precisely what Wylder needs to find his footing again.
So buckle up because falling for a Gallo girl is bound to be one wild adventure!
*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving the ARC didn't affect my opinion of the book.
This is the prequel to the new series The Men of Inked Sinners and it is off to a great start. This is about Tate, the newly turned thirty-year-old, who has made new goals in her life and one is to stay away from bikers. Wylder is a dad of two girls who rides a bike but doesn’t deal with a club. I loved the budding relationship between Tate and not only Wylder but his daughters as well.
I devoured this book. It was that good. I can’t wait to see what comes next in The Men of Inked Sinners.
Welcome back to the Southside Gallo's and oh how we've missed them. This is the prequel novella to Chelle's Men of Inked Sinners series.
This novella starts the love story of Tate Gallo & Wylder! Tate has not made the best decisions in life so far but now that she is 30 she plans to make real changes and stick with them. When two young girls enter the family bar she isn't sure who they are but knows they weren't given permission to be there and she wants to get them home safe!
When she drops them off at their grandmas she meets their dad Wylder and she is quite taken back by how hot and manly he is. However, her new goals in life might not let her take a leap.....Wylder is struggling being a single dad and he loves his girls with everything he is but he's also entering teenage years and he's lost!!!
When he lays eyes on Tate he has this emotional response that he hasn't had for a woman in a long time. He's been focused on his girls and nothing else. But now he's wondering if he could have more????
This is just the beginning to their love story and it's going to have you smiling, laughing, swooning, & you will be counting down the seconds until the rest of their story is released!! Their chemistry jumps off the page and interacting with all the awesomeness that is the Gallo family from the Southside is sheer perfection and they have been missed by this Chelle obsessed reader!! Enjoy this beautiful story and keep your eyes out for their continued story soon. This by far is one of the best and most anticipated Novella's of 2024!! Happy Reading!!!
HOOKED!! That's what I am now after reading this book. This is the first book I've read by Chelle and now I am ready to dive into the world she has created.
I love me a hot older man - and Wylder is that AND a girl dad. SIGN ME UP!!!
Give me more!!
Side note - the author's note before the story was sooooo insightful into life as a writer and how sometimes it's not that fun. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing that part of the process with us.
Crave is the prequel novella to Chelle Bliss’s The Men of Inked Sinners. Tate, FMC, newly turned 30 year old has made new goals for herself. One of them is to stay away from bikers. Another she must have a relationship next, no more hookups. Wylder, MMC, single dad to two young girls who rides a motorcycle, but has nothing to do with the club. His daughters show up at Tates family’s bar alone one day because they want Shirley temples. Tate brings them back to their grandmas house and Wylder is there. Even though she has sworn off bikers she sure does admire him. This starts their attraction for one another. I love Tates family dynamics, the way she is with Wylders girls and the character development in this story. I read this book in one sitting and can’t wait to read more! Thank you Valentine PR and Chelle Bliss for the ARC.
Tropes: ❤️single dad 🩶grumpy x sunshine ❤️age gap 🩶friends to lovers ❤️family dynamic
I absolutely loveeeeeee the Gallo family and this is a strong and great start to the new series. This is the Prequel or Novella to Tate and Wylders full book to come.
Tate and Wylder both have some past relationship issues to get over but they are slowly getting better. Tate has just turned 30 and wants to put her previous bad relationship behind her and is ready to move on. Wylder is a single father with two adorable daughters. He needs to put his past behind him...but When Wylders little girls come into the family bar, Tate walks them home and that starts a friendship between them.
I was so excited to read this book and can't wait to see what happens next. Wylder and Tate seem to balance each other out so well and i can’t wait to see where there story goes. Now add in the meddling Gallo family and it’s a great start to a new generation of Gallos. Looking forward to reading Claim next.
Crave is the first book in the Men of Inked Sinners series, almost like a prequel but make it with a cliffhanger. It follows Tate Gallo who has sworn against dating bikers until she meets Wylder, a grumpy single dad of two girls. Tate and Wylder have an immediate attraction to one another not just on a physical level but emotional one. Things heat up between them more when Wylder realizes how much she adores his kids and starts helping him better connect with his oldest daughter Maddox.
Crave does end in a cliffhanger but a cute fluffy one. There isn't any drama or angst in this story but I can anticipate it happening in the following book of Tate and Wylder's story.
Overall, if you are looking for a cute, funny story with a grumpy dad, a sunshine woman, and two daughters who like to cause trouble for their dad, I highly suggest you pick up this book on May 2nd!
Thank you to Valentine PR and Chelle Bliss for an ARC in return for a honest review.
This is a fabulous start to this new series. I really adored this novella from start to finish, it’s a great introduction to Tate and Wylder’s story. Tate’s all grown up since the last time we saw her and she’s ready to settle down and find a real relationship. She’s matured and ready for a new phase of her life. Wylder is in a similar situation although it’s his loved ones around him that are trying to get him to see he needs a life beyond his children. I loved the instant attraction between the two, they seem like they will compliment each other. Tate doesn’t need a man that’s a pushover and Wylder needs someone to call him out and keep him on his toes. I loved the family feel to the novella, Chelle is really good at keeping that feeling as well as keeping a story fun and spicy.
I’m really looking forward to the next book for this couple.
What a quick little read and what a wild ride! So much was packed into this little novella. The start of what I hope is an amazing love story between Tate and Wylder. This set the scene for a great next book. The chemistry between them at first sight is outta the world. I love tate’s personality. She is so authentic and fun!
I really can’t wait to read more about them and see how Wylder deals with his 2 little girls growing up 🥺
I just know Maddox is going to give him a run for his money.
Crave is the Prequel Novella to the Men of Inked Sinners Series by Chelle Bliss.
There is nothing better than the beginning of a love story, and that is exactly what we have here. This is the story of Tate and Wylder and how they meet. Tate is thirty and has reevaluated her life recently and has made some rules she intends to live by. Not long after, she meets Wylder. He's a single dad, a bit older, and is finally ready to consider a relationship after his disastrous first marriage. His daughters and both of their families are behind their union. The next book is set to be the continuation of their story.
It is my understanding that this is a spinoff of another Inked Series. I have not read any of those books or anything else by this author. I did not feel like I needed to get into this story. I enjoyed this introduction to the series. I found the story sweet and well written and the characters enjoyable. I look forward to reading the rest of the story.
ARC was provided by Valentine PR, and this is my honest review.
This book should not be advertised as anything to do with a motorcycle club or motorcycles. The MMC’s brother is in a club but he is not. There aren’t even any scenes of him riding one.
We are told about an incident with the FMC’s past regarding his brother and wanting her dead. But we are never told what happened!
We are also left hanging with the crazy ex wife. Did she get committed? Visitation with the girls?
The spice level is that of a hallmark movie. A couple hot phrases said but nothing to back it up. It’s like the author was trying to write spicy scenes but then chickened out.
This was a lot of Italian family bonding and conversations that I believe are trying to set things up for the other books.
No plot twists or surprises. This cover of this book has more grit.
Chelle Bilss's newest Men of Inked series starts with this novella where we meet Waylan and Tate.
There is no big drama, danger, or large event that starts off this series. It is simply an introduction to this world and the two characters that will star in the first full-length novel.
Tate has just turned 30 and her relationships of the past are not something to reminisce fondly over. The last one almost cost her her life. She's made some promises to herself going forward.
Waylan is a single father after his wife has up and left him and his two daughters. He has his mother's help but he feels that he's not always doing the best for his girls.
The two meet by chance after Waylan's girls wander into Tate's family bar.
They have great sparks from the beginning and they reveal a little about themselves throughout, its the perfect amount to make us want more.
I am really looking forward to Chelle's new series and a whole lot more from Tate and Waylan. . . . After her last relationship, Tate is swearing off a few things. She wants a man who will actually want her and make her feel like a priority and more than that, one who won't put her in danger.
Wyalan is struggling with raising his daughters alone, with his mother's help at least they have some female role model in their lives but he knows they need their mother but she won't be coming back.
When the girls show up in Hook and Hustle asking for Shirley Temple's, Tate agrees but then takes them home. She's not expecting their father. He's everything that usually draws her in and everything she's said she won't go for again.
Something about Tate has Waylan seeking her out and he finds he can't stop wanting to be around her, but he's got his girls to worry about and a relationship is something he doesn't have time for and someone like Tate is more than a moment.
Spending time together as friends should be all it is, but there is no denying the chemistry swirling between them.
'Tate peers up at me, and I know - this is where I'm meant to be.'
My first Chelle Bliss novel was a delicious little appetizer to what I’m sure will be a scorching series. I was hooked from the get go and can’t wait to see what happens next. 🔥
This prequel novella follows several characters that have been introduced in other series. While I haven’t read any of them and the names got slightly confusing at times, for the most the part I could figure out who was who and how they were all connected around the Gallo family.
Tate has sworn off three things on her 30th birthday. Donuts, bikers, and one night stands. When she inadvertently protects the grumpy single dad’s two daughters he’s instantly enraptured by her and isn’t quite sure what to do about that. 😅
I loved the tension and banter between these two. Tate doesn’t take any shit and I loved her interactions with the girls. The felt so genuine and not overly friendly for someone who had just met them. Wylder has been through a lot having brothers in a motorcycle club and a deadbeat ex wife. Seeing his vulnerability but willingness to ask for help from Tate was adorable and you just can’t beat a grumpy single dad AMIRITE!? 😜 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was just a prequel novella to the start of this new series and I already am excited to continue on with Tate and Wylder’s story. I felt like there was just enough in this book to intrigue me and keep me coming back for more. 🏍️ Thank you to Chelle + Valentine PR for this ARC for review!
What to Expect: - Grumpy/Sunshine - Single Dad - Age Gap - Family Dynamics - Friends to Lovers - Opposites Attract
Crave is the perfect introduction to the new Men of Inked Sinners series. As this is my first time reading any of Chelle's books related to the Men of Inked and the Gallos, I am not privy to a lot of background information about the characters. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading about Wylder and Tate. Tate was in a previous relationship with a biker that almost got her killed. Now, at thirty, she has vowed never to date a biker again. Tate knows she deserves more and will not settle for less. Enter Wylder. He is a single father of two daughters, just trying to do right by them since their mother left. Although his family is part of the biker world, Wylder chose a different route. He is not looking for love, but that all changes when he meets Tate. Crave gives us the beginning of Wylder and Tate's love story. They have amazing chemistry and are set up to have a great relationship. I'm excited to see how their story continues.
Thanks to Chelle Bliss and Valentine PR for the eARC.
Tate Gallo had a type – emotionally unavailable bikers who were more feral than serious relationship material. She is turning 30 yrs old, and has made a vow to turn away from those bad boys. But, once she meets Wylder, will that vow go out the window?
Wylder's mom, goes in the bar Tate works at a few times a week something he didn't know until Tate brought his girls home after they wondered off while his mom was supposed to be watching them. Wylder doesn't know how to thank Tate, let alone be around her. He's never met anyone like her. Wylder is struggling to be a single dad, he's trying, but, doesn't know what to do.
Will Wylder be able to be around Tate and her family? Will Tate be able to be a good role model for his girls? Will we see more of Tate & Wylder down the road in more of the Men of Inked Sinners series to come?
I did receive a free ARC book copy. I am freely leaving an honest review.
I really enjoyed this novella and introduction to a new series from Chelle. I have loved this Gallo family for so many years now and I just don't want it to ever end.
This story gives us Tate, who has sworn off men for a while after what happened a few years ago with Rowdy. We meet Wylder and his cute little girls, Hazel and Maddox. These girls are struggling some since their mother decided this life wasn't for her. They meet Tate when they sneak out of their grandmother's house (while she was napping) and head to the bar where Tate works. Tate offers to walk them home and she meets Wylder...someone she knows she should stay away from.
But life has other plans for them. Slowly, Wylder and the girls worm their way into her heart and life and she isn't sure how to feel about this. Wylder is different from her past boyfriends but in a much better way. He's a single father and he's also much older than Tate. But none of that seems to matter when the pull for him is so strong.
I can't wait to see where their relationship goes in the next story. This book is definitely just the beginning for Tate, Wylder, Hazel & Maddox.
Thank you to Chelle Bliss for sending me this ARC!
Chelle’s books never fail to make me smile and swoon.
Crave follows Tate and Wylder. Tate just turned 30 and has sworn off a few things- one being bikers. Wylder rides motorcycles but is not in the same club as Tate’s ex, who Tate has also sworn off. Tate meets Wylder’s daughters when they wander into her family’s bar, and brings them home to his mom and himself. Tate finds him absolutely attractive and vice versa. The two have such an undeniable connection to one another! Plus, his girls love Tate.
This was a cute novella. I really am excited to read about Tate and Wylder’s relationship in the next book! Chelle never fails to write a swoony book!
Crave is Tate Gallo's story and we know we have been waiting for hers. She is over bikers and she has learned her lesson, but fate might just break that for her. When she meets Wylder the rough biker with the soft lips she knows to stay away. When two littles come into the bar where she works her life is about to change. Wylder has so much going on that he doesn't even know where to begin. He's a single dad raising his girls the best that he can. When he meets Tate something changes, but they both guard their hearts completely. Can these two build from a friendship to more? I loved this story and the begining of something so beautiful.
Sure, this is shorter than we’re used to from this author. But that’s okay because Wyler and Tate are just as fantastic as you’d hope. A single dad, a woman determined not to make the same mistakes from her youth, and a couple of kids in need of love are all we need here, folks. And the added wonder of a certain best friend and an artist bring the promise of something more. Something we can hope to experience. And the feeling of family, love, and belonging that both Wyler and Tate all richly deserve. I personally can’t wait for more time with this branch of an already love family!
Crave is a charming and delightful introduction to the start of a romantic relationship. Chelle Bliss’ writing is heartwarming and clear, creating the perfect start to a story. This novella is a sweet and endearing beginning to a new series and Bliss has left me salivating for more of this story. If you have never read Chelle Bliss before this might be the perfect introduction to her work. I think Bliss’ writing has a comforting feel to it that shows the sweetness of falling in love, the charm of a small town and the importance of a strong and supportive family!
If swoon worthy heroes, a charming heroine, a strong attraction and clear chemistry all wrapped up in an age gap and single father trope is your cat nip, then look no further! I would definitely recommend picking up this novella, whether you are a lover or new to Bliss’ work, you are sure to read this novella with a smile on your face!
Thank you to Valentine PR for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Crave by Chelle Bliss is the first book in the Men of Inked Sinners series. This book is a Prequel Novella. This is the story of Wylder and Tate. Tate has sworn of bikers because she it became dangerous with her last boyfriend that she was on and off with. Now she has just started her 30's and feels she deserves better. When she meets two young girls who are up to trouble is how she ends up meeting Wylder. Enjoyed this book and can't wait for more in this series along with this author.
I’m already Craving more of Tate and Wylder❣️ Tate has just celebrated her birthday but has sworn off a certain type of man. When she discovers two young girls in her family’s bar, she sets out to help them find their way back home…..only to discover one hot specimen of a man, who turns out to be their dad😮💨
Loved Hazel and Maddox and getting to catch up with the Southside Gallos😍 Can’t wait for more. I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review.
Welcome to the Men of Inked Sinners series, this is the prequel to the series and is a novella featuring Tate and Wylder. Tate has a heart of gold but seems to attract deadbeat guys. Wylder thought he had a good life with a wife and two daughters until his wife ran off leaving him with the girls. Now he is trying to raise his girls the best he can. Tate helps at the family's bar and works at the tattoo shop across from the bar. When Tate and Wylder meet the sparks fly. I can't wait for more on Tate and Wylder's story. And you can't forget the wonderful Gallo family. I have to say that I look forward to anything from this author when it has to do with the Gallo family, I love the Men of Inked and all of the spinoffs. If you haven't read this author before, you need to, you will not be disappointed. **Complimentary copy provided and this is my honest opinion review**
First answer foremost, thank you to the publisher and author for sending me an ARC of this novella. I’m delayed on posting my review because life was well…life.
This is my first encounter with this author. First I will say, I’m ready to read more about Tate and Wydler. I felt this was a great introduction but without reading any of the other books, it felt way too short. There wasn’t enough meat and potatoes to the story. Over all still a good read.
This was amazing and that’s all you need to know! Craved is the prequel novella to the Men of Inked Sinners Series. I loved every second of this story. The chemistry between Wylder and Tate was on point. Their characters are so relatable and easy to connect with. The writing was smooth and engaging. This story is the beginning of Wylder and Tate’s relationship, it was super sweet and I cannot wait for book two!
