A great story

I really liked this book. This is the third book in the Hockey Gods and Ice Girls series, and although I haven’t read the previous two books (a mistake I will definitely rectify as soon as possible), I had no trouble following. Great plot, intriguing characters, enough drama to keep things interesting and of course scorching hot encounters that can make your kindle explode! Brooding hockey player, Russian, hardened by difficulties he had to face, hockey being his salvation. I really loved Viktor. I loved his fierceness, his protectiveness and his restrain and love of control. Brandi is also a great heroine. Fierce, unafraid but also vulnerable in some ways. She is a great mom, as well – she recognizes the struggles her son faces and tries her best to help him. I loved the relationship, the care and the protectiveness Viktor feels not only towards Brandi but Jay as well. The dynamics held me captive and I loved every feeling the book evoked in me. I couldn’t finish the review without mentioning the amazing secondary characters (some were the main MCs in the previous books) that stood by Viktor and Brandi and helped them when they needed it the most. The meaning of brotherhood and sisterhood, respectively, was an essential part of this story in my eyes and I loved it. Because family doesn’t always defined by blood. So, 5 stars from me.

Hopeful..

I had been waiting for this book and was hopeful that it was going to be a great last book that I read from this author. The overall synopsis was great but there's like a big chunk of middle where it's like I'm replaying the same thing... She has a secret she's keeping from him, he thinks she's pushing him away... No build up of Tyler or Dom's past. Also, I'm still not sure why there's no editor at this stage in the game! One minute she walks up to his car but she's pushed against her car? When he comes in she has on shorts but he's tearing off her yoga pants? There were more situations like that. There were lot's of filler paragraphs and phrases used over and over. Such lazy writing. I had already decided to stop reading this author for the same reasons and for some reason I don't get the feeling she's black especially when I read her collabs. I held on for this one bc my name is the same as the main character and who doesn't love a Russian hockey player? Not a total waste but you might get frustrated reading this.

Facing Your Past…

I have to say this book is a great read.
Sin Bin Savage gives you a great sense of pride and appreciation of how important it is to protect not just yourself but for both single parents and those who have a questionable past.

But, it’s the chemistry between Brandi and Viktor that will cause a many t need a cold shower…lol…

Now of course I am looking forward to seeing Natasha’s and Kane’s story.

What a great dark story with a stalker content and a dark story. We are taken into the life of Brandi and Viktor. It is already steamy because Viktor knows that from the first moment he saw Brandi knows that she is his and does everything to get her and not in a modest way, it is immediately noticeable. Despite the fact that he knows that Brandi is keeping a secret, he wants her with secret and all. Great journey with a dark edge, drama and enough hot and steamy moments between them.

Viktor wanted Brandi at first sight and his methods of getting her attention aren't subtle. But Brandis hiding a secret one she didn't want Viktor to know but this man wants her and all that entails. Well written steamy possesive, stalker desires drama and more.

Good read

I really liked Viktor and Brandi together. Their chemistry and energy felt authentic. My biggest gripe was the drawn out back and forth about Jay. I found myself getting annoyed like just tell him already. Other than that it was a good book. I hope there’s more to come with Natasha and Kane.
